Type: 3-part one shot

Summary: A search for Energon turns dangerous when Arachnid appears.

Miko couldn't get out of the webs.

She and Sister had been trapped for about two hours now, and the older woman wasn't doing anything. Just staring off in other distance.

"Eg-Hey!" she called to the hooded woman. "Can you use your knife to cut us loose?"

Still no response.

Finally, Miko just went limp. She knew there was no getting out Arachnid's webbing, even the Autobots had trouble. And with Sister in a comatose state, it seemed that they were gonna be here a little while longer. Her eyes took in her surroundings trying to note specific things that could help her.

That task was difficult, unfortunately, as everything was covered in spiderwebs.

Miko muttered some words under her breath that her host mother would've sent her to her room for mostly some places where Arachnid could stick it.

Another amount of time passed and Sister was still looking like she was having Vietnam flashbacks.

"Sister! Snap out of it! Come on, we've gotta get out of here!"

Nothing.

"Ugh. Great. The one person that could get us out of here and she's acting like she's having war flashbacks."

There was the tell-tell scuttling before the abhorrent spider-bot came into view. Arachnid hadn't changed since the last time they encountered her: dark purple and black painting with sinister purple eyes and fangs. She scuttled over to Miko and Sister, her long claws caressing the teen's cheek menacingly.

"What's wrong?" Arachnid cooed to Sister. "Too afraid?"

"Leave her alone!"

Arachnid turned towards her, hissing. "Stay out of this human! Besides, the fear coming of this one is absolutely divine!"

Arachnid wrapped her claws around Sister, yanking her off her little cocoon. "I think I'll start with you."

Slicing the cocoon open, Sister tumbled down to the ground like a doll that was dropped by a child. Miko winced as Sister groaned when she hit the ground, slowly looking around as though realizing that what was around her.

Sister glanced up, her eyes wide and her face pale with fear.

"Sister! Sister, run!" Miko shouted.

The woman remained frozen as Arachnid moved closer, bearing her fangs and hissing.

"Go ahead and run." The Spider-Bot hissed. "The chase makes the hunt so much more fun."

Sister's eyes bounced to meet Miko's and the young girl jolted in surprise at the confidence in them. She only saw it for a moment before Sister turned and bolted into the woods. Arachnid hissed happily before scuttling off after Sister. Miko was left alone, still wrapped in a cocoon and, as much as she didn't want to admit it, afraid. Her eyes started to prickle with tears. There was a fear htat the tears might run her eyeliner but it was quickly squashed when she started thrashing.

"HHHHHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP!" She shouted as loud as she could. Miko's shout were echoed back at her. "BULKHEAD! ARCEE! BROTHER! ANYONE!"

Nothing but an echo.

"Anybody…please."

Miko, unable to struggle or shout, went limp. She shut her eyes and prayed for sweet release of oblivion.
