Day 3: Love Eternal
Light shined through the uncovered glass of Shinji's room, the brightness stinging his closed eyes, prompting for him to lazily shift his eyes in the opposite direction. A look of surprise graced his face as a pair of unfamiliar eyes were staring at him blankly. They were an alluring shade of blue on a face that was nothing short of attractive. Looking above her eyes he noticed that her hair was auburn brown which seemed to reach her shoulders from what he could see. Flinching only for a moment, he quickly remembered who it would possibly be.
"Lilith?" Shinji said with a tired groan. The girl simply gave him a nod, turning her back to him. She began to gently wiggle her rear slightly against him to get comfortable before gently reaching over to pull his arm over her. Shinji took a sniff of her hair to find it smelt of LCL. Blushing lightly at Lilith's actions, he simply laid still, an erection slowly growing against her.
"Oh crap...um...sorry about that," Shinji sighed. Lilith squeezed his hand gently, push up against him again.
"It's understandable. I'm...cold. I'm not used to this kind of world's temperatures yet," Lilith said quietly, taking in Shinji's body heat. Shinji wasn't sure what to say or do at this moment; it was similar to situations earlier in this reality, but with Lilith, it felt vastly different. He found himself shivering as continued to take in the intoxicating scent of LCL that drenched her at the moment; he had grown quite fond of it, especially in how comfortable it made him feel. A cold sweat suddenly came over Shinji as the door to his room suddenly slid open.
"Shinji, its time to get up...I've got a bitch of a hang over so no special treatment this morning, sorry," Misato groaned, holding her head.
"I-It's fine Misato, just rest today OK?" Shinji said, his voice jumping as Lilith nestled up against him again. Misato turned to face the room, but remained still within his doorway.
"You know Shinji...about last night...I...understand that you probably don't want to be with an old woman like me, but...if we can do those things from time to time, that's enough for me, OK?" Misato's voice seemed somewhat remorseful as she then shut the door behind her.
"We have to get up now Lilith. I'm not sure what we're going to do to sneak you past Misato, or even get you a uniform but we'll figure it out," Shinji whispered, Lilith giving him a nod before crawling out from beneath the covers. Shinji blushed heavily as she revealed her naked frame. It was very similar to Rei's, but a bit less lacking in her rear and bust. She slowly walked over to his dresser, where a school uniform was conveniently waiting for her.
"Oh right...you can probably alter things like that can't you?" Shinji asked quietly. Lilith peeked over her shoulder at him, then shrugged, her face still blank of any emotions.
"This is your reality, your subconsciousness prepared this for me," Lilith replied. Shinji yawned and gave her a nod, scratching the back of his head as he moved to his clothes which were hung over the door of his room. Sliding his clothes on, he would occasionally would peek back at Lilith; he wasn't sure what it was, but he wasn't flustered or even bothered by the fact that they were changing in the same room.
"Is my morality really this poor now?" Shinji thought to himself as he got ready. It didn't take long for the both of them to get ready, however, Lilith did find herself struggling to figure out the bow that went on the front of the uniform. Shinji couldn't help but to laugh quietly, moving over to her to help her tie it on properly.
"Thank you," Lilith said, tightening it. Carefully, the two of them stepped out into the room. Shinji looked around carefully to make sure the coast was clear, only to find the hung over Misato sprawled lazily on the couch, fast asleep.
"Jeeze," Shinji said with a small laugh, draping the blanket that was on the back of the couch over her. Wasting no time the two of them easily made their exit, gently shutting the door behind them.
Shinji let out a sigh of relief as Lilith continued to just gaze around her, her expression still static. It was like Rei when he had first really gotten to know her, which now knowing the truth made a lot of sense. Just as before, they proceeded down the stair, the thoughts of how the interactions between all of them and Lilith were going to play out. As they reached the bottom, sure enough Rei was waiting patiently for him to arrive.
"Ikari, good..." Rei's words fell short as she noticed Lilith, who walked side by side with him out into the open. Shinji noticed a strange look in Rei's eyes; they were cold and kind of menacing. Lilith simply smiled at Rei, suddenly looping her arms around Shinji's. Shinji looked like he had just been caught masturbating as he watched the two girls interact.
"Ikari...who is this?" Rei asked, her tone of voice almost showing a hint of negative emotion. Shinji gulped nervously, but was quickly covered by Lilith's words.
"My name is Mana Kirishima. I just transferred here to start attending school, it's nice to meet you!" Lilith said. Shinji simply stared at Lilith as her whole being changed on a dime. Before she was devoid of emotions and rather quiet, but just now she came off as a somewhat chipper, energetic individual. Rei glared at the now smiling Lilith, her eyes then shifting to Shinji's with a somewhat sinister glare.
"I see...Ikari...why did she leave with you from your apartment...?" Rei asked, her words piercing his soul. Shinji's stomach began to knot up, the oppressive sensation of Rei's words now towering over him.
"W-Well you see Rei, she's um..." Shinji's words fumbled from his mouth, which gave Lilith a small little chuckle.
"I'm living with him and Misato to til I can get my own place. You see, we've known each other for some time now, we just weren't ever in the same town," Lilith smiled and eye'd Rei defensively. Rei closed her eyes and sighed, slowly walking away from the both of them without another word. Shinji quickly broke free of Lilith grasp, placing a hand on Rei's shoulder as a sign to halt.
"Rei, why don't you walk with us?" Shinji asked kindly but he was words were returned with a glare. A frown curled on Shinji's lips as Rei swept his hand from her shoulder.
"I'm sorry Ikari...I...I just...bye," Rei's words shown themselves to be evasive, but if there's one thing he remembered Misato telling him: "Nothing draws attention like evasive action". As Rei tried to step away, Shinji snatched up her hand, holding her in place so that she couldn't proceed. Rei turned back to him with a face of pure frustration; he could see mild tears forming in the corners of her eyes, her brow scowling in disappointment, this was clearly a side of Rei that he had never, ever seen before. Clearly jealousy was an incredibly powerful emotion.
"Ikari, let me go...I can see what's going on here I don't want..." Rei's words rang clear, but her train of thought was interrupted by Shinji wrapping his arms around her into a tight hug. Her eyes opened wide in surprise, her stature as if carved in stone as Shinji raised his lips to her ear.
"After home room, meet me by Room 2C, its empty today. I'll show you how much you mean to me," Shinji whispered lovingly, planting a soft kiss on her cheek. Rei's face was now blushing as he released her and pulled away. Rei gave him and Lilith a shaky bow before waving goodbye, leaving Lilith rather curious to his ploy.
"That was close, for a second there I thought I really upset her..." Shinji said with a sigh, Lilith coming up and snatching up his arm again.
"You do realize I will be observing your actions today right? That is the reason as to why I am here," Lilith voice turned monotone with her expression matching it once again. Normally, Shinji would freak out over something like this, but after being used as a plaything and having plenty of sensual interaction, the idea didn't really bother him all that much or rather, slightly excited him.
"Well yeah, I know that's why," Shinji replied. Still playfully clinging on to his arm, Shinji and Lilith made their way to school. Lilith couldn't help but dart her eyes from place to place, observing, smelling, and taking in everything around her. Such a refreshing feeling it was for her, but just for her; upon arrival, Asuka locked eyes with the both of them, anger flexing onto her face.
"Prepare yourself, Asuka is a real hot head," Shinji whispered. Lilith simply smirked and maintained eye contact with Asuka without fear.
"Excuse me, but just who in the hell is this Shinji?" Asuka sneered, Shinji already being oppressed from her massive, authoritative aura. Lilith smile shifted from confident to sly, playfully narrowing her eyes at her as she gripped onto Shinji's arm tightly. Unlike Rei, Lilith didn't take kindly to Asuka or her attitude.
"My name is Mana Kirishima. I'm currently living with Shinji and Misato until I can find a place of my own. Shinji and I go waaaay back, I was one of the few friends he had after he was abandoned after all. So, may I ask your name?" Lilith laid her game on thick, at this point taking a sick sense of satisfaction in her actions. Asuka ground her teeth together and balled her fist, somehow keeping her temper down to a simmer.
"I'm Asuka, Asuka Langley Shoryu. And I'm Shinji's girlfriend," Asuka smirked back, ready to fight as dirty as she needed to get this rude stranger away from Shinji. Lilith laughed softly as she turned towards Shinji, pulling her chest against his arm. Shinji blushed as he felt Lilith's chest cup his arm, fear of a fight dwelling in the pit of his stomach.
"Asuka, I never agreed to being your boyfriend you know..." Shinji said, which was returned with a fierce glare. Lilith laughed at the two of them, releasing Shinji's arm and walking up to Asuka.
"If that's the case, tell me, what's his favorite place that he likes to be pleasured? Surely if you two are dating you've experimented with each other at least a little," Lilith's words shot right through Asuka, her face turning blood red as she quickly averted her eyes.
"T-That's none of your damn business! OK so maybe we aren't dating, but were really, really close like that right Shinji?!" Asuka stuttered, to which Shinji found a slight bit adorable. Shinji smiled nervously, moving past Lilith and up to Asuka, who was still staring at Lilith. Shinji, now standing her side, slid his hand behind her lower back, pulling her next to him by her waist before planting an affectionate kiss on her cheek.
"That much IS true. Me and Asuka have also known each other for some time now, so she's very special to me," Shinji said, Asuka now heavily blushing from embarrassment. She immediately pushed Shinji off of her before turning tail, dashing towards the school in a fluster.
"She certainly...feisty isn't she..." Lilith's voice returned back to normal, leaving Shinji to shake his head.
"Why were you antagonizing her?" Shinji inquired as they both slowly walked towards the school doors.
"I have never done it before, so I wanted to try it," Lilith replied. Shinji shook his head and shrugged his shoulders before walking in, Lilith latching onto his arm again. Shinji led Lilith around the school, pretending to be a guide for a new student so people wouldn't stare at her like she was a random stranger barging in. Slowly but surely they snaked their ways through the halls until finally they found his homeroom. Walking in, all the guys in class immediately directed their eyes to Lilith, who was wearing her default blank expression on her face once again.
"Oh wow, whose the new hottie?" Toji blurted out. Rei turned her eyes over to her and Shinji, blushing as her eyes met with Shinji's while Asuka continued her omnious glare at Lilith. Hikari smacked Toji upside the head for his rude comment, making her way towards the two of them.
"Don't mind him. I'm Hikari, I'm class representative. You must be new am I right?" Hikari said with a smile. Shinji thanked the God's that at least one of the girls that liked him wasn't a completely jealous pile of emotions. Lilith smiled and slightly, returning the kindness shared with her.
"I am Mana, it's nice to meet you Hikari. It's nice to see such a polite class representative, I'm sure we'll get along well," Lilith said, causing Hikari to give her a nod of confirmation. She then blushed lightly as her eyes shift to Shinji who was sighing from all of the stimulation that had already befallen them. Kaworu then turned his eyes, immediately locking onto Mana as if she were some sort of prey.
"Lilith is here...how peculiar..." Kaworu said quietly to himself, Mana turning her gaze to him in immediate acknowledgment.
"I was unaware that Tabris was a member of Shinji's class. How interesting...I wonder if he has been observing Shinji just as I plan to..." Lilith thought as they both broke eye contact. Homeroom went off without a hitch; the teacher came in, explained what was going to go on today, etc. As the opening lecture came to a close, Rei immediately left the room without so much as saying a word, anxiously anticipating what Shinji may have in store for her. Soon after, both Lilith and Shinji rose up from their seats, heading out the same door that Rei just had.
"What are they up to..." Asuka sneered, slowly rising from her desk as well. Everything seemed to suspicious for Asuka to simply sit by, a slight bit of anguish and nervousness swelling inside of her chest. Asuka followed at a safe distance, peaking around corners while their backs were turned and proceeding on once they were out of view. Peeking around the last corner, she noticed that only Shinji was in her sights with Rei's fidgeting hands shaking as she talked to Shinji. Rei rose her lips up and kissed against Shinji's causing Asuka to ball her fist angrily. After Shinji and Rei entered the room, after the door shut, Asuka bolted for the door, staying out of sight of the windows.
"I knew it, that idiot Shinji has absolutely no shame!" Asuka growled. As she went to open the door, a hand seemed to come out of nowhere, snagging her arm before it was able to reach the handle. Asuka's eyes snapped to the side to see "Mana" smiling innocently, a small laugh leaving her throat.
"Jealous are we? Or are you just a peeping tom?" Lilith replied to Asuka's action. Asuka yanked her arm from Lilith, snatching up the front of Lilith's uniform like a bully then proceeded to growl in her face.
"What's your problem!? Why are you following Shinji around huh?!" Asuka snarled, causing Lilith to laugh once again, this time in her face.
"Because I want to watch, why are you following him around?" Lilith said, an innocent smile crossing her mouth. Asuka blunk in confusion, completely baffled by the response she had just received.
"Grr...just shut up...I...just wanted to know what he was up to...I know he likes Rei and...UGH! YES I'M JEALOUS! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR!?" Asuka barked, releasing Lilith's collar. Lilith simply shrugged, walking over towards the door then silently sneaking in, Asuka hesitant to follow her. Lilith smirked as he watched Shinji's hands slide down the top of Rei's uniform until all that was left was her naked chest. The both of them were smiling like children as Rei then unbuttoned Shinji's shirt in return.
"I-I-Ikari...I...hope I'm...I'm good enough...for you..." Rei stuttered. Shinji gave her a nod of acknowledgment, moving his hand up to one of her breasts as he locked his lips with hers. Asuka peeped in from the class window, making sure that only her eyes were visible as she watched. Rei removed herself from Shinji's grasp, now laying with her arms above her on the desk she was sitting on. "It seems things are about to get a little more interesting," Lilith said quietly as her eyes followed Asuka's slow, affirmative steps, like shuffling up to someone they've crushed on for years. Moaning and whimpering, Rei's eyes opened to catch sight of Asuka; her hands held themselves in front of her, her face was red with her eyes appearing more sad than spiteful. Rei flinched in the moment, a slight look of horror on her face as Shinji turned his eyes to follow hers.
"A-A-ASUKA?!" Shinji yelped, Rei quickly covering up her chest and stomach with her arms. Asuka had small tears rolling down her cheeks with a grimace of mild despair. Her eyes shifted to Rei's who were now looking away shamefully then to Shinji's, which weren't so much horrified anymore, but rather, they were concerning.
"Am...am I not enough for you Shinji...? A-Am I so bad at making you happy that have to run into other girls' arms...? Please...just tell me..." Asuka said, approaching him. Rei didn't know how to react, shivering as she held her half naked self out of plain sight.

"Don't make me let go of Ikari...I-I won't let go...I can't let go..." Rei said, her sorrow stung eyes looking at Asuka as she trembled like a leaf in a hurricane. Asuka simply took a heavy sigh before turning her eyes to Shinji.
"As a girl, I understand the magnitude in which Rei loves you...it's uncanny how it's like a reflection in the mirror for me. And...well...if she can see past the fact that you have a sexual appetite of a fox...then...if it means keeping you in my life...I'll...I'll see past it too," Asuka said, slowly walking over and holding onto Shinji's other arm. Shinji was at a complete loss of words; his guilt had met knew heights and his morality spiked harshly off the charts in the moment. "This is so crazy," Shinji laughed nervously. Asuka and Rei joined in, giggling softly before turning their eyes up to him.

"Well, if that's what you want I guess, but don't be too long, we'll miss our ride home," Shinji said, slowly walking off. Once they could tell that he was out of ears reach, Kaworu's expression grew very grim.
"What are you doing here in Shinji's reality? You're not supposed to be doing anything that could influence Shinji's decision on what he wants," Kaworu snapped at her, he eyes still gazing idly into his with a flat, insincere smile.
"I'm simply observing, just as you are. Shinji's will is his own to choose what he wishes," Lilith said, narrowing her eyes at Kaworu's.
"You do realize that messing around with Shinji could cause all sort of problems, like preventing any reality from ever coming to exist..." Kaworu stated, causing Lilith to shrug her shoulders. She turned her back to him, slowly heading in Shinji's direction.
"It's poor form to be jealous of me, just because Shinji has no desire to be with you in this reality," Lilith said with a smirk, surprising Kaworu with signs of humanity in her gesture.
"..." Kaworu just stood silently, turning away and heading back into the school grounds. It really did hurt his feelings the way that she said such a thing to him, the pain surprising him to the core.
"Shinji..." Kaworu said, pressing his hands over his heart. Meanwhile, Lilith had already latched onto his arm again, as if they were a genuine couple. Arriving at the station, Shinji realized that they had missed the time frame to catch the train back to Misato's place, which more or less would save them at least half an hour worth of walking.

Even knowing that, you feel as if you've become so attached to me that nothing else will ever make sense, which is false. Mankind evolves with the passing of time, just as memories fade away," Lilith said, but half way through Shinji's eyes were already welled up with profound sadness. Shinji slowly wrapped his arms around her, his eyes burrowing themselves into her chest before beginning to soak her clothes with his tears. Just like the day that he was abandoned by his father, he began to cry uncontrollably.
"Why?! Why can't you?! You said I can make anything happen, so why can't I stay with you?!" Shinji yelled, his words being muffled by tears. Lilith sighed gently, rubbing his back with on hand while rubbing his head with the other. She didn't share any of the emotional backlash that finally hit his system, but after talking to him for so long, she could comprehend the pain of it.
"As the lilim, you must end my life in order for existence to be, that is the law that was set in stone when we, the angels were born. They all wanted to be with me, just as you do now, but all of them had to be stopped in order for existence to maintain stability. I will not be saddened by your decision, fore I am happy that you can be strong enough to create a reality that you truly wish to be," Lilith said softly as Shinji began to shake.

"Right now though, I am here...right next to you," Lilith whispered, smiling faintly as she gave Shinji a small kiss on his lips before moving his hand to her chest.

My heart and mind were lost to insanity, unable to handle everything that I was seeing. It was your words, your touch within the void of LCL that finally brought my mind, heart and soul to peace. I don't care what happens next, I just want to be with you, right here..." Shinji said, tears forming in the corners of his eyes.
