While the Gotei 13 watches over the Soul Society in the east, there is a western branch.
Wing Bind operates from Reverse London and instead of chasing down Hollows like their counterparts in the east, their job is the control and protection of dragons.
Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole, two of Wing Bind's agents as part of the Piper's divison had just returned to the headquarters after a mission.
"Well well you two are back already"
They turned around and saw a middle aged man with shaggy black hair and a thick horseshoe mustache come towards them.
It was Billy Banx Jr, their commanding officer.
"Because we couldn't do anything against that dragon we found, said Ninny"
"What do you mean?"
"All spells we tried didn't work and it wasn't effected by my horn, said Noel"
"Interesting.
-What exactly did it look like?"
"Like a dragon but without wings which was strange"
"It also had a bone white mask on its face and a large hole in its chest, Ninny added"
Billy's eyes slightly widened.
"What did you just say?"
"You heard me, it had a hole in its chest and a bone white mask!"
"You two need to tell director Takkinen immediately!"
Billy began walking and the two followed him.
"Why chief, Noel asked"
"That thing you saw is not a dragon...
-It was a Hollow"
"What's a Hollow, Ninny asked"
"The eastern counterparts to dragons and they cannot be dealt with by us"
They then stopped outside a door and Billy knocked before they entered.
"Sir are we disturbing you?"
"Not at all Banx"
All three line up in front of the desk were their superior sat.
Tronbone Takkinen was a short, elderly man with a bushy beard that merged with his large mustache to reach past his feet.
He had black eyes and a wrinkly face as well as white frizzy hair that poked out from his brass hat.
Over his shoulders he wore a red-and-black shepherd's check plaid mantle with an Aries symbol on the back that covered his white shirt. He also wore baggy red pants.
"What can I help you three with?"
"Sir, these two just reported that they had seen something unusual during their mission"
Billy looked at the two young witches and cleared his throat to show them that they should talk.
"We were sent out earlier to take care of what we thought was a normal dragon, said Noel.
-But none of our spells worked on it and when I tried my horn, it was uneffected by that too"
"So we decided to come back and when we told the chief, he said it wasn't a dragon, said Ninny"
Tronbone raised an eyebrow and looked at the two girls.
"So what was it?"
"It had a bone white mask on its face and a hole in its chest, said Noel.
-Chief said it was something called, a Hollow"
Tronbone's eyes slighlty widened.
"Are you two sure that what it looked like?"
"Yes sir, said Ninny"
"This is not good then"
Tronbone got off his chair and walked towards the door.
"The other Top of Horns needs to be informed about this.
-If it's really a Hollow, we need to send for the Soul Reapers in the east"
He told the trio to not go anywhere in case the other directors wants them to come to the meeting and then left.
A while later: Crown Council.
Tronbone sat in the meeting room where the Top of Horns usually gathered.
On the other side of the table sat Wolfgang Slashhaut, the director of the Gallows.
He was an older man with white hair and walrus mustache, wearing thin violet-tinted glasses with a gold frame. Over his purple suit, he wore a gray-and-black glen's plaid mantle. On the collar of his white shirt, he had the Libra symbol.
The doors then opened and in came two young men.
The director of the Billionairs, Harry Shayk had shaggy blond hair and wore black sunglasses. He wore baggy green-brown pants and a white dress shirt with a green tartan plaid mantle.
The other young man, Bruno Bangnyfe who was the director of the Inks had black, spiky hair that was close-shaven on either side of his head and a two blue streaks in the front.
He wore a blue jacket with a furred collar and the Tauros symbol on the back over a dark shirt emblazoned with an animal skull. He also wore a pair of black fingerless gloves with a backwards-pointing metal spike attached to a ring on each finger and thumb, light-colored pants with a sweater tied around his waist, and dark sneakers
Bruno sat down on the right side of Wolfgang while Harry sat down to the left of Tronbone.
Three others then entered and took their places.
On Bruno's right sat Roy B. Dipper who was the director of the Anthems. A dark skinned man with short, neatly trimmed black hair and large, thin-rimmed gold glasses. He wore a blue suit and white gloves which had the Capricorn symbol on the back of them.
Between him and Harry sat Cquntnire Milieve, a young woman who was the director of the Sacreds. She had long blonde hair and wore a white-gold headdress with two blue-green horns as well as a white dress with a wide collar and white pants covered her lower body. Over her shoulders, she wore a yellow mantle.
Sullivan Squire, the director of the Sabres sat down to the right of Tronbone. She was a young woman with chin length black hair that fell into a single large bang on the left side of her face. She wore a black military cap emblazoned with the Wing Bind logo in addition to a black suit, connected at the front by a thin chain. Her mantle was black and had the Scorpio symbol on it.
Wolfgang then looked to his left, at the seat between him and Sullivan which was empty.
"Looks like Saka Rynn decided not to show up.
-Doesn't matter. Tell us why you wanted us to gather, Tronbone"
"Well, I just got to know that two of my Pipers ran into something different during their mission earlier"
"Different in what way, Sullivan asked"
"It wasn't a dragon they encountered.
-They told me it had a hole in its chest and a bone white mask"
The others looked at him in slight surprise.
"Do you mean that it was one of those things, Roy asked"
"Yes. Based on the description it has to be one of the Hollows our counterparts in the east are dealing with"
Wolfgang let out a slightly annoyed growl.
"What do we do old-man Wolfy, Bruno asked"
"Our magic and weapons won't work on Hollows so we have no other choice but to ask the Gotei 13 to send a few officers here to help us"
A few hours later:
Soul Society Eastern Branch: Seireitei.
The 13 captains of the Gotei 13 identified by the white Haori they wore over their uniforms had gathered at the 1st division along with their lieutenants.
At the front of the room stood Shunsui Kyōraku, the leader of the 1st division and head-captain of the entire organization.
"I'm sorry to gather you all so urgently but we've recieved a request from Wing Bind in Reverse London"
Everyone looked at each other as they heard the name.
"What do they want, asked Lisa Yadomaru"
The captain of the 8th looked at her former superior and he cleared his throat.
"Appearently a Hollow has somehow appeared in Reverse London and they're requesting help to get rid of it"
"How did a Hollow even get there, asked Rōjūrō "Rose" Ōtoribashi, the 3rd division captain"
"They don't know and that will also be a task for the ones we send"
"So who will go, asked SoiFon, the captain of the 2nd division"
Shunsui looked across the room and his eyes landed on the youngest among them.
"Captain Hitsugaya you think you can handle this?"
"Of course"
The now mid-teen looking captain of the 10th bowed his head in respect for being chosen.
"You may choose four others to bring with you"
"I already know who then"
"Please tell us.
"If captains Ōtoribashi, Kuchiki, Muguruma and Ukitake are fine with it, I'd like to bring their lieutenants on this mission"
"Any reason why?"
"Those four are among the most skilled lieutenants and depending on the situation, their powers will be of great help"
Shunsui nodded understandingly before turning his attention to the other captains.
"So what do the four of you say?"
"I'm fine with it, said Rose"
"You may bring Renji along, said Byakuya Kuchiki who was captain of the 6th"
"You can have him, said Kensei Muguruma, captain of the 9th"
"It's fine with me, said Jūshirō Ukitake, the 13th division's captain"
"Well then, since that was solved easily this meeting is dismissed, said Shunsui
-You five chosen to go will gather at the Senkaimon as soon as you can. Understood?"
"Sir!"
The other captains and lieutenants then left the meeting room while the five chosen to go stayed.
"I'll get the mission details from the head-captain while you four get ready to go, said Tōshirō
-Especially you two, Renji and Katsurou since you have your families to tell about this"
"Thank you captain Hitsugaya, said Renji Abarai, the red-haired 6th division lieutenant"
"We appreciate it sir, said Katsurou Ukitake, the co-lieutenant of the 13th"
"Then do that and meet me at the Senkaimon once you're done, said Tōshirō"
"Yes sir, said all four"
So they all went their seperate ways and once everyone was ready, they left for their mission.
