Episode 13: "Girl's Only Weekend"

Later that day, Friday, April 16, 2032

After Rayeleigh, Jenessa, Jocelyn and Ashleigh got home from school, packed their bags, they headed out to the cabin Bailey is renting for three days and two nights. They took Bailey's car and Maya decided to do the drive up there due to Bailey, Jocelyn and Rayeleigh being pregnant.

Rayeleigh leaned in and kissed Jake passionately. "I love

you. Have a good weekend with Carter and Caliey."

Jake smiled. "Thanks, babe. You have a good time with the girls. Give Jenessa a hug for me. I don't know how she's feeling. I feel so horrible for her."

Rayeleigh sighed. "Me too. I feel so bad for her. We decided to give her a get away."

Jake nodded. "That's a good idea."

Jenessa hugged Jason. "I'll see you in a few days. I love you."

Jason smiled. "I love you more, baby girl. Try to enjoy yourself, okay?"

Jenessa nodded her head. "I will."

Jason kissed her head. "Good."

After saying goodbye to Zack, Cody, Jake, Jason and Austin, Bailey, Maya, Rayeleigh, Jenessa, Ashleigh and

Jocelyn headed off to the cabin for their girl's weekend.

On their way there, they talked.

Maya was the first one to speak up. "Are you ladies excited for our getaway?"

Rayeleigh nodded her head. "I am. It's great to finally get away together."

Jocelyn sighed. "I'm just exhausted though. Don't think I won't have a good time because I will try."

Rayeleigh looked at her cousin. "You won't have to worry about Carter and Caliey. They are a handful, huh?"

Jocelyn chuckled. "Sometimes they are, but I love being their mother. They've been through so much."

Maya drove up to the highway. "We're going to stop somewhere soon. Does anyone have to stop?"

Jocelyn sighed. "You know I do. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. Charley loves laying on my bladder and straight up kicking it sometimes."

Bailey looked at her niece. "What's her name?"

Jocelyn smiled. "Charlotte Elizabeth."

Bailey smiled. "Awww. A middle name passed down three generations."

Maya smiled. "I'm so excited to share my middle name with my newest grandchild…" She looked at Bailey. "Did you ever think we'd be grandmothers at our age?"

Bailey shook her head. "No, I didn't think we'd be grandmas at 37. It's unexpected, but I'm excited to welcome the newest generation of our family."

Maya smiled. "I know…"

A few hours later, Maya pulled up to the cabin and the girls got out of the car and grabbed their bags and headed inside.

There were two bedrooms, Maya and Bailey let Rayeleigh, Jenessa, Jocelyn and Ashleigh have the biggest bedroom. There were three bathrooms, a layout

of the kitchen, living room and dining room. There was a wrap around porch as well. After unpacking, Maya and Bailey went food shopping for the weekend they'd be there.

Jenessa looked at her cousins, Ashleigh and Jocelyn. "Thanks guys for coming."

Ashleigh smiled. "We'd come in a heartbeat, girl. How are you dealing with everything?"

Jenessa sighed deeply. "I don't know. Everything is still so raw, you know?"

Ashleigh sighed. "I don't know how I'd feel about losing my baby if I had one…" She saw her sister and cousins looking at her. "I'm not pregnant!"

Rayeleigh sighed out of relief. "Oh, thank God. You shouldn't be having a baby now, Ash. You're only 15…"

Ashleigh chuckled. "I know. You're young too, though, Rae…"

Rayeleigh nodded. "I know, but I'm going to be eighteen in January. I think I'm okay…"

Jenessa frowned. "Are you leaving me this August?"

Rayeleigh paused. "I'm probably going to take the first year of college online. I'm giving birth in November."

Jocelyn looked at her cousin, Jenessa. "Did you find out what the baby was? Boy or a girl?"

Jenessa sighed. "It was a girl. I decided to name her Amari. Amari means miracle of God."

Rayeleigh smiled. "Awww!"

Jocelyn's phone vibrated. She got up and picked it up.

Jake's text: "Kids are with me. Both are fast asleep." *attached photo of Carter and Caliey asleep*

Jocelyn smiled. "Awww." She texted back.

Jocelyn's text message: "Awww so cute."

Jake's text message: "Have a good time with the ladies. You need it as a small vacation before Charley arrives. Call me if you have any problems."

Jocelyn's text message: I should be fine besides the practice contractions I get sometimes."

Jake's text message: "Okay."

Rayeleigh looked at her cousin. "Jake?"

Jocelyn nodded. "Yeah. Carter and Caliey are fast asleep. And, he's worried about me. I guess it's normal...I could give birth whenever at this point..."

Rayeleigh nodded her head. "Oh okay."

Jenessa looked at her sister and cousin. "I'm sorry about this will always be weird. Both of you have the same baby daddy and Rae is dating Jake. It will always be confusing to me."

Rayeleigh sighed. "Oh, we know."

Ashleigh looked at her sister. "What are you going to say when the kids start asking questions?"

Jocelyn shrugged her shoulders. "Honestly, I don't know..." Jocelyn smiled. "I mean, I know Rae will be my kids stepmother someday, but I hate that word so I don't care if they call her mom Rayeleigh or mama Rayeleigh, whatever they want. She's their mom too when she and Jake get married so..."

Rayeleigh smiled at her cousin. "Thank you."

Jocelyn smiled. "You're welcome. I'm just ready to meet Charlotte..."

Ashleigh looked at her sister. "Is it hard giving birth?"

Jocelyn nodded. "Well, yeah. I had twins. It was horrible. I'm glad to have Jake there this time. He wasn't there when the twins were born."

Rayeleigh sighed. "If I'm in labor for more than 24 hours, I'm gonna kill someone..."

Jenessa sighed. "I'm sorry."

Jocelyn chuckled. "I was in labor for 30 hours, Rae. I'm thinking you'll be there for more than 24 hours."

Rayeleigh sighed. "Well, great..."

Meanwhile, Jake's Apartment Complex

Josh knocked on the door.

Jake sighed as he opened the door. "What do you want?"

Josh looked at him. "I wanted to know whether Rayeleigh is having my baby or not?"

Jake sighed. "Dude, I can't say because he or she isn't coming for another 7 and half months. If it is yours, you're not going to be there. I know you."

Josh crossed his arms. "I'll still give her child support for it or something."

Jake laughed. "That's bullshit. Do you know how much child support is? What if Rayeleigh doesn't want your money? Dude, she's not gonna want your money even if you are the baby's father."

Josh crossed his arms. "How do you know? She'll need something. You have 3 kids already with her cousin. Does she know you slept with her cousin last night?" He shook his head. "What a faithful boyfriend you are."

Jake's eyes went wide. "Shut up, Josh." He pinned him against the wall. "You tell her, I'll kill you."

Josh rolled his eyes and pushed his brother off him. "Get off me. I'm not afraid of you. Her Dad isn't pleased either!"

Jake's eyes went wide. "Wait! He knows about last night?! How?!"

Josh shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Wasn't Jocelyn all pissed off at her dad? Right? Well, Rayeleigh's dad followed her I think, and well, he kinda put the pieces together..."

Jake groaned as he opened the door and sighed. "Out. Get out." He ran his fingers through his hair.

Josh smiled. "Bye." He walked out of the apartment.

A few minutes later, another knock on the door, Jake breathed deeply as he opened the door to see Cody standing there.

"Hey Cody."

Cody nodded. "Hello Jake."

Jake smiled. "Come in. Carter and Caliey are asleep, I've been just cleaning and studying, besides the surprise arrival of my brother coming here."

Cody walked inside, nodding. "You two aren't talking still?"

Jake shook his head. "No. He thinks child support will help Rae if the baby is his. Paise God, it won't be...I'm

sure Rae won't want his money anyway..."

Cody sighed. "So, I heard Zack pissed off Jocelyn last night and she came over here. What exactly happened? All I know is that Joces isn't speaking to Zack. Did she tell you what he said to bring her over here?"

Jake sighed. "He said in quotes, 'I don't care about her or my kids and that she couldn't keep her legs closed'.

She was so stressed and pissed off that she couldn't stay there last night. She came here for the night..."

Cody nodded. "Wow. Did you two do anything? I have to ask given she's my niece and you're dating my

daughter..."

Jake took a sip of his water before biting his lip. "Well..."

Cody just stared at him. "What?"

Jake sighed deeply. "I've been sleeping with Jocelyn…"

Cody's eyes went wide. Of course, he was upset, but he decided to let Jake explain. He wasn't his brother. "Can you explain why?"

Jake nodded. "Yeah...Um, you know I love Rayeleigh with everything with my heart, but I can't explain Jocelyn and I. We've had a connection. It's hard to explain. But, I'll try to explain to you."

Cody nodded his head. He could see the hurt Jake had in his eyes when he explained everything to him. He knew he loved his daughter. If he didn't, he wouldn't be staying by her side while she may be expecting his brother's child. Who would do that? Only a man with a heart would. Cody sighed deeply. "Jake. As long as you're there for them both, I can't be mad because you are my niece's children's father and you could be the father of my daughter's child. I'm not sure how Zack will react…"

Jake took a deep breath. "I know he still hates me. I can understand that. He just can't understand the situation. I never expected to be a dad to his grandchildren, but I am. We can't change the past."

Cody nodded. "Oh, I know. I completely know that Carter, Caliey and Charlotte aren't mistakes…neither is my grandchild…"

Cody smiled. "Good."

Meanwhile with the ladies, they decided to head out to dinner tonight. They needed to just have a night full of laughs and enjoying themselves. After all, Jocelyn only has 10 more weeks until Charley arrives.

Rayeleigh looked at her cousin. "How are you feeling, Joces?"

Jocelyn sighed. "Overwhelmed. I'm exhausted. I'm just wanting to give birth already, but I can't. I have 10 more weeks."

Jenessa sighed. "I can't imagine."

Jocelyn turned to her cousin. "Well, it's life, right? I can't change what happened."

Jenessa shrugged. "True."

The weekend went by pretty fast because the girls just enjoyed themselves as much as they could, it definitely was well needed.

No drama about boys, no babies, no craziness. Just them and enjoying the weekend together.

Jake smiled. "They were good. How was the trip?"

Jocelyn smiled. "It was good. Jen really needed it. I kinda understand her feelings towards losing her baby." She walked inside.

Jake walked her to the couch. "Are you talking about the abortion you had?"

Jocelyn nodded her head slowly as tears came to her eyes. "Yeah, I do regret doing that because I'm having Charley now and I couldn't let Rae know that we had slept together, but she found out anyway..." She wiped a falling tear.

Jake sighed feeling worse. "I'm so sorry about that, Joces. That's all my fault. It's because of me you and Rayeleigh aren't how you two used to be before."

Jocelyn sighed. "Yeah. We can't change what happened, but what can you do to fix that? Nothing really." She said, sniffing. She looked away from him.

Jake could tell that she's holding in something. "Joces, what's wrong?"
