I DO NOT OWN THE TUDORS. I APPRECIATE EVERY REVIEW THAT I RECEIVE. IT IS WHAT KEEPS ME GOING WHEN I FEEL LIKE GIVING UP.

After a day of taking tea with Queen Anne of Cleves, evening descended upon Whitehall Palace. The dukes were shown to their rooms which by sheer chance, were connected by a door between said rooms. Once the brothers had dismissed the servants, they were able to breath easily for the first time that night.

"Holy shit, I can't believe that they bought it," Ethan said in pure shock.

"One of the worst performances of my career and Henry never doubted it for a second!" Anthony agreed with delight.

"Just cool your jets, Ferris Bueller," Ethan said as went over to one of the dressers and began putting his cell phone and his wallet inside it. "We gotta make sure that we keep our stuff hidden away bro, the last thing we need is for someone to find them and start asking questions that we can't answer," he said as Anthony looked out the window. The sun was starting to set over the English landscape.

"Hey bro, I think I'm gonna take a walk," Anthony said as he headed for the door. This immediately raised Ethan's suspicions.

"Walk?" his brother asked. "Since when do you take walks?"

"Since I saw the sunset and I wanna got for a walk, you got a problem with that?" the elder brother asked.

"I do if you're trying to put the moves on a certain lady in waiting," the younger brother shot back. "You better not be having some kind of rendezvous with Catherine Howard, because I told you plain as day: If you and her are caught together, it will literally be our funeral dude. Heads will roll, Our Heads!"

"I ain't!" Anthony insisted. "I am just taking a walk, would you please stop being a stick in the mud for once in your God damn life!" Ethan flipped his brother off as he left the room. The brothers loved each other, but they could get on each other's nerves sometimes. Anthony was always a risk taker and Ethan was way too cautious for his own good.

Anthony was so ticked off at his brother as he walked through the royal garden. They were on the adventure of a lifetime and Ethan was just being a spoilsport like always. Every time Anthony tried to show his brother a good time, Ethan always spoiled it by being so uptight. Now, all he worried about was if Anthony was going to do something stupid and get both of their heads chopped off. Anthony had enough common sense to realize that they had been given a once in a lifetime opportunity and he had no intention of wasting it.

He eventually passed through the garden and went towards the stables. Henry most likely had some of the best horses in the UK. Before he reached the stable door, he heard a woman singing and this woman sounded beautiful. Anthony moves towards the singing and he saw Catherine Howard sitting on a swing and singing to herself.

"La, la la, la la la," she sung as she swung back and forth. Anthony didn't say a word as he stood and watched the English beauty. Eventually, she turned her head and spotted him. Catherine came to a stop and stood up to bow.

"Please, don't stop on my account," Anthony begged.

"Forgive me, your Grace," Catherine said. "I did not see you. I was amusing myself."

"Clearly," Anthony quipped as he walked closer to her.

"If you don't mind my asking, what are you doing out here?" She asked sweetly.

"Honestly, I needed space from his Grace, the Duke of Chicago." Duke Springfield admitted as he was reminded of the living and breathing buzzkill that was his brother.

"Forgive me your Grace, but I don't think your brother knows how to have fun," Katherine remarked.

"I wish I could argue with you, but I can't," Anthony replied. "Ethan's got a stick up his ass, always has."

"Why can't he let go and enjoy life?" Lady Katherine inquired.

"I think it kind of has to do with our parents," Anthony admitted. "My mother only cared about alcohol and my father only cared about crac...opium. Someone needed to be the responsible one in our family and neither of them were willing to step up. Ethan had to grow up a lot sooner and than he should have...and I just decided to have fun and not worry."

"I'm sorry," Katherine replied as she touched Anthony's hand. "After my mother died, my father sent me to live with the Dowager Duchess of Norfolk. She didn't really supervise us girls all that much. Some of us brought men into our quarters and...we got a little wild."

"I can imagine it," Anthony chuckled as he took a moment to look deep into Katherine's eyes. Suddenly and without warning, Katherine leaned in and kissed Anthony upon the lips. He was surprised, he returned the kiss for a few moments before they both pulled away.

"Oh God, I'm sorry," Katherine said quickly as she realized what she had done.

"No, it's my fault," Anthony insisted. "I don't know what I was thinking."

"I'd best go before her highness misses me...your Grace." Katherine bowed and then left, leaving Anthony kicking himself. He knew one thing for sure: Ethan was going to be pissed off. Anthony knew that he would only get himself into trouble if kept fraternizing with the Queen to be. He couldn't help it though. Anthony wanted Catherine Howard and he wanted her bad; more than any other girl he had ever been with and that was saying something.
