AN: I decided to delete some parts because I just felt like they weren't worth writing, so here's chapter 24.

Monday, September 6, 2032

Leah and Rayeleigh are 30 weeks pregnant now and Maya is 19 weeks pregnant. Charley is now 8 weeks old. Emma is now 3 weeks old.

Jocelyn is starting her first day back today. Meanwhile, Brayden and Laura aren't coming back to school for another 5 weeks.

After dropping off her youngest daughter at daycare where her two oldest kids were, Jocelyn headed to the high school, feeling already so exhausted from having to take her crying daughter to daycare.

She walked into the school, expecting to see Rayeleigh, but didn't see her. She rushed over to Leah, who was an emotional wreak.

"Leah! Where's Rae?" Jocelyn asked the over emotional teenager.

Leah sniffed as she sobbed her words out. "Rayeleigh is at the hospital..." She managed to get out.

Jocelyn's eyes widened. "Is the baby okay? What the hell happened?!" She half yelled.

"I thought you already knew?" Leah asked with a confused look on her face.

Jocelyn shook her head. "N-no, I don't know. What happened to her?"

Leah began crying again after handing her phone to Jocelyn.

Jocelyn took the phone and looked at the text message in horror.

Jake; Rayeleigh is in the hospital because Josh tried to rape her last night. Stress levels were too high, so she's staying in the hospital for the day, maybe for the night. Baby girl is okay, but Rayeleigh wasn't good. Josh is in police custody until farther notice.

Jocelyn's eyes widened. "Oh my God. I can't believe he tried to harm her. What an asshole." She groans as she shakes her head.

Leah sighs. "I know right?" She shook her head, frowning. "I can't believe I was dating him! Oh my God!" She was now panicking.

Jocelyn grabbed her shoulders, looking at her friend. "Leah Mariana! Girl, don't start thinking this is your fault, honey."

Leah kept shaking her head. "I feel like shit. I feel like because she's in the hospital is my fault! He's my ex boyfriend, Jocelyn." She sobbed.

Jocelyn sighs, breathing deeply. "Lee, you can't control what that man does, girly." She tries to reinsure her friend of seventeen years.

Leah sniffed loudly, breathing heavily, trying to calm herself down. "I'm sorry. I'm just- I'm just emotional about this."

"I know, honey." Jocelyn says, hugging her friend. "Let's fix your makeup, okay?"

Leah nods her head as she follows Jocelyn into the bathroom to fix her makeup.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Rayeleigh's hospital room

Jake was sitting by Rayeleigh's bedside, waiting for Cody and Bailey to show up at the hospital with their youngest daughter, Isabella Grace, who was born August 28, 2032. The baby girl is now a week old.

When Jake heard the door being knocked on, he looked up and saw Cody standing there in the doorway.

"Cody? Where's Bailey?" Jake asked his girlfriend's father.

Cody chuckles. "Bailey didn't want to bring Izzy out right now. She's too little, so I decided to come on over to check on Rae." He looked over at his daughter.

"Is she alright?" Cody asked, his voice breaking. He was scared for his daughter and granddaughter.

"Yeah, she finally fell asleep after having a panic attack and feeling overwhelmed with what happened with my brother..." He growls under his breath. "I hope he goes to prison for this..."

"Me too." Cody says.

"Did you two decide on a name?" Cody asks after some time, and Jake gave a smile on his face. "Yes, but we aren't announcing the name yet. Rae wants to be sure of her last name, which I get, I-" He was cut off by Cody giving him a look of confusion.

"What do you mean by 'she wants to be sure of her last name'?" Cody asked.

Jake took a deep breath. He knew Rayeleigh's feelings towards the baby's last name. "Well, it's kinda a long story..." He starts. "Humor me." Cody says.

"So, when Rayeleigh was thinking of names for the baby, she wanted to be sure if it was right to have my last name on the birth certificate. She has been going back and forth if I should add my name as the baby's father on the certificate as well. But, I told her we'll wait until the baby's born to see if that makes her feel better."

Cody nods his head. "That's understandable, actually. She's been through a lot over the past few months and I don't blame her."

Jake nods his head softly. "Yeah, me too." He looks over at Rayeleigh, who was opening her eyes, groaning a bit. She rubbed her eyes and then her vison becomes better. Rayeleigh saw her boyfriend and father sitting at her bedside.

"I-Is the baby okay?" is her first words when everything came back to her. Jake nods his head. "Yes, baby. She's fine. I see you are too." He lets out a laugh of happiness. "Oh baby." He says, kissing her forehead. "I love you." He whispers in her ear.

"I love you too." Rayeleigh gave a smile. After being checked out by her doctor, Rayeleigh was put on bed rest for the next three weeks. She wasn't looking forward to those words.

Rayeleigh's P.O.V.

Fuck! Fucking shit. Great. I have to go onto bed rest for the next three fucking weeks. What the fuck am I supposed to do for three weeks? I really don't want to do this, but do I have a fucking choice?

No.

I fucking hate Josh. With. Every. Bone. In. My. Fucking. Body.

I hope he enjoys jail.

Cody kissed his daughter's head. "I think you should stay with Jake for the three weeks..." He tells his daughter.

Rayeleigh looked at her father with wide eyes. "You will actually let me stay with my twenty one year old boyfriend?" She shook her head. "Dad, are you okay?"

Cody nods his head. "Yes, I am, Rayeleigh Everleigh. You won't get enough sleep at home. At least you'll only have to see Carter and Caliey Thursday to Monday."

"That's true, I guess." She looks at Jake, who squeezes her hand. "I'll take good care of you, baby girl. Charley isn't coming to see me because she's too little. I only see her when I go over to Jocelyn's to check up on them. I know it sounds weird, but it is what it is."

Cody nods. "I get it. You do what you have to do. You're a great dad, Jake."

"Thank you." Jake says.

As soon as every test came back good, Rayeleigh was discharged from the hospital later that night. After helping his girlfriend into the back seat to have her more comfortable, Jake drove them back to his new home.

AN: My boyfriend took my laptop's battery out and I can still keep my laptop on as long as it's still plugged in. I have to go to the DMV on the 24th to change my ID and address. So that's going to be fucking fun.
