The next day, Tuesday, September 7, 2032

Jake's New Home, Boston Massachusetts

Rayeleigh and Leah are 30 weeks pregnant and Maya is 19 weeks pregnant.

Rayeleigh was in the hospital yesterday, and now she's at Jake's new home on bed rest for the next three weeks.

Jake's home is a five bedroom and three bathroom house with a two car garage. It's a two floor home with a nice big yard for Caliey and Carter to run around.

Inside the house, when you first walk inside, there's the staircase and on your left is the kitchen, living room and dining room, which is an open floor plan. There's a kitchen island, two sink, a dishwasher, a big fridge and a gas stove with plenty of counter space. The living room has high ceilings, a ceiling fan, and a couch, two side tables with lamps and a TV with big beautiful windows. On the right side of the room, is the dining room with a china storage and a six seater dining table. The floors are a light wood color.

On your right is the half bathroom. Upstairs, there is five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom and bathroom are on the right and on the left is the kid's ward with a bathroom in the middle of Carter's and Caliey's rooms. Charley's nursery and Rayeleigh's baby's nursery are beside each other.

Jake's bedroom is a modern farmhouse design with dark wood floor with a baloney and a master bathroom. There's a queen sized bed with two bed side tables with a lamp. A fireplace with a flat screen TV hanging on the opposite wall. The bathroom is next to the bedroom.

The master bathroom has a big counter space, with two sinks, on the other side is a full bath with a separate walk in shower and next to that is the bathroom closet.

The bathroom beside Carter and Caliey's rooms, is a full bath with a sink and a toilet.

Caliey's room was a princess/fairy theme. She had a big girl bed, a dresser, and a rug with a bean bag in her room. There was a bit of pink everywhere.

Carter's room is a batman theme. The floor is a dark grey color, a huge window in the middle of the room with a side table and a dresser.

Charley's nursery theme is bunnies with a white crib, dresser aka changing table, and a chair with a foot stool. Her nursery has carpet and she has a closet as well.

They haven't done Rayeleigh's baby's nursery yet. They started the painting progress and putting in the new wood floor and making the floors brighter. Jake preordered everything the other day due to the safety of the baby girl, just in case she comes early or knowing, they are prepared then waiting for the last minute to have the room ready. Jake does want Rayeleigh to move in with him so they wouldn't have to order everything twice. It would be just as expensive if they have two of everything.

Rayeleigh woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes, bacon and sausages. She moans softly as she sat up in bed and then sighs when she realizes she couldn't leave the bed unless it was to go to the bathroom or stretch her legs so she doesn't get blood clots in her legs.

She heard footsteps coming upstairs and shortly after, she looked up at her boyfriend, who had a tray with food and an orange juice on it. There was pancakes, bacon and eggs on the tray as well. She smiles at him.

"Good morning, babe."

"Good morning, baby girl." Jake places the tray on the bedside table before leaning down to kiss her. "How did you sleep?" He asked.

She laughs. "I'll let you know when I'm 34 to 40 weeks pregnant and unable to do so. My pregnancy pillow does wonders for that..." She takes a bite of her bacon when he hands her the tray. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He smiles at her. "Are you going to eat?' She asked. He shakes his head. "I ate before making your breakfast. I'm also studying and doing my school work from home so I can take care of you for the next three weeks."

She nods her head. "Are you sure you can do that?" She asked, and Jake nods his head. "Yes, I can." He replies as he gets into bed with her. "I got a call from the police station..." He starts.

"And?" Rayeleigh says. "He'll be going to court in a week to see if he'll be charged with rape, harassment and harm to an unborn child. I'm not sure how that will play out, but I'll be going to say your statement on your behalf because you'll be on bed rest. I'm going to have my mom watch you, is that okay?"

She nods her head. "Yeah."

He leans down and kisses her head. "I just want you and the baby to be safe. I'm no longer talking to him. He's not a good person. I know he hurt Leah, so I don't know if she'll be there..."

"I'm sure she will be, so he'll be in jail or prison for a longer time. I'm not sure how that will work out. I do want to go to law school now." Rayeleigh says.

"I'll support on anything you want to do, baby." He says with a smile.

'We'll see how things work out, but I don't know."

"Good point." He agrees with her.

She lets out a sigh as she finishes her breakfast. "This is going to suck so bad. I hate having someone do my every need. I'm not going to be so happy over the next three weeks."

He frowns. "I know, baby. I wish I could tell you that you could do something, but you can't do so much. Your doctor wants you off your feet and be stress free."

She closed her eyes, groaning. "I know."

One week later, Thursday, September 13, 2032

One week after being on bed rest, Rayeleigh still isn't enjoying this. She's 31 weeks pregnant along with Leah. Today, Jake is getting his two year old twins, Carter and Caliey. He gets off school and drops off his kids with his mom, who was at his house with Rayeleigh. When they were okay, he headed to work.

"Rayeleigh!" Caliey yells as she runs into her father's room to her. "Hi, baby girl. How was your day?" She asks the little girl.

"It was good!" Caliey giggles as she climbs onto the bed. "Why are you in bed?" The little girl asks, curiously. Rayeleigh smiles. "Well, my doctor wants me to be on bed rest for the safety of my baby, honey."

Carter frowns. "Is she okay?" He asks. Rayeleigh nods her head. "Yes, she is okay. My doctor doesn't want her to come early, so I'm going to be on bed rest for another two weeks..."

Caliey frowns. "I'm sorry."

"It's alright, sweetheart." Rayeleigh tells her boyfriend's daughter.

"Come on you two. Let's go get some snacks and then play games, okay?" Cara says. The two kids nod their heads. "Okay!" They run out of the bedroom, making Rayeleigh smile.

Her phone pings, she reaches over and picks up her phone. She opens it and sees a text from Jocelyn.

Jocelyn; Hey girl, how are you feeling?

Rayeleigh; I feel like I can't do anything...

Jocelyn; I'm so sorry, girl. You got this. You will get through it.

Rayeleigh; Thank you.

Jocelyn; You're welcome. I love you.

Rayeleigh; I love you too.

Later that night, Jake finally came home and locked the door behind him after saying bye to his mother. He headed upstairs and headed into his bedroom to see Rayeleigh sleeping. After changing into sweatpants, he climbed into bed next to her. He fell asleep shortly after getting comfortable.

This is always so worth it.

AN: Another update! How is everyone? I'm going to the DVA tomorrow so I'll be writing some more today and (tomorrow later since my appointment is in the morning)
