On the question if I will do the anime after this. I have no Idea ,it really depends on how much fun I have writing this.
I will update this story as frequently as I can . I have a ton of free time and very little to do right now. Criticism on grammar and the story will always be appreciated in order to improve.
Movie script will be I don't forget this.
As soon I started this I had an immediate wave of dread on who to pick to represent which characters.
Some characters said very little in this chapter, i'll try to make the say more when their copies show up. sorry

Chapter Story about a game
The movie started with a game piece. A crystal-like King piece was formed out of dust and fell on a chessboard lighting up a huge board. A voice was heard.
When I was a child I thought the world was a much simpler space
"Is that my voice" thought a confused Jaune arc?.
The chess piece turned to stone and was moved around the board.
I thought there was no challenge that was unbeatable, that if I tried hard enough, anything was possible"Don't we all?" scoffed Qrow in his head
Everything was cut-and-dry. You win, you lose ,or it ends in a draw .The hand was revealed to belong to a boy that looked remarkably like a kid Jaune.
"Fearless leader, how did you get on the screen?" screamed an excited Nora valkyrie. "I have no Idea." exclaimed the bewildered person in question.
Nora's partner Ren quickly calmed her down by saying "Wait Nora, that may not be the case. The stranger has different hair and eye color."Maybe he dyed it" she defended her point. The audience did in fact notice that the student looked almost exactly like the character on screen.
"How about we watch what happens in order to decide" Ozpin pacified.
A transparent but blurry hand was seen playing with the kid. I need a way that's more precise, tactics that are more efficient.I need a superior strategy! Stated a childlike voice.
"Do you think he's playing with a ghost?"Whispered Yang to her teammates. "I highly doubt that" responded Weiss. "He seems familiar." thought Ruby.
Even when you're up against the best there is, you could still imagine how you could defeat them the next time.. The character dropped a sweat drop. Such foolish, ignorant youth. The screen blackened
"Well doesn't that seem ominous" joked Roman to Neo.
Suddenly the screen turned reddish and a Dragon appeared. It could be seen flying with a symbol above its head. It charged a laser and it fired at some triangle winged flying figures. The screen switched back to the boy in a room where he turned and noticed a light from his unglazed window. The music swelled when the laser hit , the explosion was shown , and the kid was seemingly knocked out while looking at the explosion.
The audience was awed ;some stared at amazement at the size of the explosion, while others became fearful for the kid Jaunes safety. "Whelp he's dead" wrote Neo.
"At least that's what i thought " Phyrra sighed in quiet relief.
"I thought It was an illusion or a bad joke".Figures could be seen flying in a formation." A false world of stupid games. But the truth is life in this world didn't have to be so chaotic, It didn't have to be so random, so unforgiving"- the crater from the blast was seen with the kid looking at his game despondently.- without meaning or value. "He lost his home" thought Ren and Nora. Memories of Kuroyuri in their heads. Ren held a shaking Nora's hand and squeezed. "Damm what a depressing start ,eh Qrow" muttered Taiyang.
A figure landed a few meters behind him and the kid turned around. There stood a girl; no a machine-like ruby with luminous blue wings,long purple hair and cannon for an arm. Something was on her eye and she stared at the Jaune look alike with a curious expression.
"Friend Ruby, you appear to be an android or something remarkably similar to one!" Penny cried out. Ruby didn't respond however. Her mind was racing with a thought" I destroyed his home" she despaired. She didn't even notice the strange clothing her doppleganger was wearing. Her sister noticed her being quiet and tried to comfort her.
"So… The next time, the next time for sure" The two characters stared at each other before the boy grabbed his chess board and ran away. The scene changed and the sky changed to a vibrant blue and pink sky with ,with a city ,large arches, and chess pieces in the shot.
"Are those chess pieces in the background? muttered Ozpin. Meanwhile Mercury gagged in his mouth at the change in scenery.
A bright pink moon and city name Elchea were shown before a voice was heard. Why? Why Didn't I win?!-desu. A kid Blake was seen shouting,although something had changed in her appearance. She had just finished playing a game of chess with a boy who looked very
mismatched. Bright blond hair, different irises, and a heart shaped mark on his cheek.
"Aw, you look so cute as a kid." Yang joked."It seems faunus also exist in this world;fascinating." Oobleck rambled. "Am I a fox faunus?- Blake touched her ears "Not only that but I also have a tail."
Not to brag or anything, but I've only been defeated once in my entire life, you know. He answered and held his hand out. Fox Blake pouted and held out a large fish. Theatre Blake also pouted at the thought of losing such a snack. It's the sixth of the ten pledges:
"All that's made in accordance with the pledges must be upheld.This law is absolute, per the One True God who created our world of Disboard.""I'll crush you ,next time i'll destroy you!-desu" She muttered with her tail swinging back and forth.
"Do they follow their god's rules by their own will or are they forced to" whispered Ozpin.
The conversation continued. "Next time? Look if you couldn't beat those two, then you won't ever beat me.""Jaune and Ruby, you know about them?``Fox Blake inquired.."All right, let's do this. I've got an interesting story I can tell you during our next thanks for this wonderful prize." He distracted instead.

"Wonder what we beat Blake in?" Wondered jaune. " Is no one gonna mention the annoying verbal tic" spoke emerald aloud.
"It's an ancient myth that you'll never be able to tell anyone."
"It's okay, I'm not listening anyway"."Yes...This happened six thousand years ago." The scene changed."An unbidden war raged, ravaging the Earth and extinguishing the planets.
As time has gone on, no one remembers it anymore,and yet,it's one tale I will never forget. The camera traveled through a canyon and led out to a red sky.
No Game No Life Zero
"Is that really the title?"
A masked person in a cloaked hoodie could be seen jumping across stone pillars. "It's a big one" the figure behind him stated. "The black ash is falling. We should hurry." The masked group sprinted on the ground clearly exhausted and found an opening, when a one armed person Tripped. "Clover""Im Okay" answered the now named person panted out.
"Is that really Clover?" asked Winter. " Do you know him sister?" question Weiss. Ironwood answered "Yes, he's the Leader of the Ace Operatives and one of my most trusted men". He grabbed his arm. " I wonder how he lost his arm." he thought.
They entered the unknown construction. "What's the situation?" Fake Juane pulled out an object with a spinning needle. "I can't get a reading on the source. We'll be relying on our senses for this recon. Don't let your guard down."
"A good lesson. Never let your guard down during a job on the field. Huntsmen who do get injured or worse. Glynda lectured. "Yes professor," her students replied."
"JAUNE! Come quick! There's a-" the stranger yelled before he realized his mistake and covered his mouth. His partners glared at him in annoyance.
"Idiot! Is he trying to get them killed!" complained Qrow.
A holographic map was shown with unknown text and symbols."It's a world map, dwarven-made and it looks like this is the latest version too!""that's not all- Mores symbols popped up- it shows the balance of power between the races and even the dwarves' strategy. Clover, Neptune compare this to what we got and make corrections.I'll make sense of this the best I can." "Achéte!(understood)"
"That's actually a good plan." said a surprised Weiss. "Of course it is, Fearless leaders' plans almost always work" replied an indignant Nora. Before an argument could break out a line of text came from the machine
"A message… From the dwarves? An object was shown. "Fusion...Detonation. Exactly how much of this world do you plan to destroy?!. Big red spots on the map appeared in multiple places , covering huge portions of the world.
Most of the audience grimaced "Oum my goodness" gasped a horrified Blake. "I'm sure they're over exaggerating the damage it could cause '' reasoned a concerned Pyrrha. " I doubt they would falsify a warning to their own comrades, kid " Tai informed.
The building shook. "Let's get out of here!" Neptune tried to take the projector but was stopped by Jaune. "Neptune don't take anything that uses spiritual energy." "But!" "If you want to die go right ahead" he admonished."Dammit!" They ran and hid behind a pipe.
"That's a tough call, That intelligence would have been invaluable." muttered Ironwood. "Yes I'm sure it was , but not worth their lives" countered Oobleck.
Clover covered Neptunes' mouth as they hid in silence. The tension and music rising as something could be heard moving closer. A pipe exploded as the creature came ever closer. Juane slowly stared at his teammates. "Clover, this is an order. Die here" he said with a hollow stare "Achéte." was Clover's response. "Clover!" Neptune yelled.
"What! You just can't do that!" screamed a red-eyed Yang ." "Why did agree immediately , why did he just accept his death." a distraught Ruby murmured . " "Now we know for certain that isn't the dolt , as inadequate he may be as a fighter I doubt he would have abandoned his comrade" stated Weiss" "As heartless as this sounds he made the right decision" Ironwood gritted out," "Bullshit Jimmy you don't just abandon comrades in the middle of a fight" spat out Qrow. "If you had to sacrifice yourself to save your nieces you would do it in a heartbeat! IThink about the situation at hand with one sacrifice he will save the lives of his comrades and the information they need for the mission. I know for certain that any of my specialists would make the same decision." argued Ironwood. " Gentlemen ..Calm down let us agree that however necessary the decision may be it is still something horrible and something we should avoid." Ozpin pacified.
Clover threw back his pack at Neptune and took off his mask and hood. A liquid being rushed ever closer. "Look after my kid Jaune." He turned and smiled. "Promise you'll do that for m- He was interrupted by the creature who finally showed up. Jaune turned and ran .Clover also turned and ran out yelling. "I'm over here! Come and get me Demonia! The Giant leech-like monster stared and towered over him. It roared and lunged at him revealing rows of eyes before it exploded.
The jaune in the theatre grit his teeth. "I killed him, I ordered him to die." kept repeating in his head.
The flames from the explosion followed the fleeing scouts before they finally escaped the scene changed to a storm where several beams were shot at the sky. A purple lazer hit the ground producing several large explosions.
"There used to be something called 'the Sun'. It's white flames lit the Heavens. Turning the skies the most brilliant blue you've ever seen."
2 large Airships were covered by the smoke produced. Back in the ground a winged figure was seen flying up to a floating structure.
"And then there's an old story, something out of a fairy tale, The Gods and their creations waged an eternal war. The Earth burned, choking the Heavens and raining down the ashes of the dead." Back to jaune staring at the sky a piece of ash fell on his unhooded face and instantly burned a mark on his face. " "Jaune!" Neptune yelled out worriedly pulling back jaunes hood.
"They've never seen the Sun?" said a sad Ren. " Even at its peak the Great war was never this bad" said a glum Oobleck. "Man this world is depressing and it has only been a few minutes." said Torchwick.
"These ashes… are all we have left to honor them, I guess.." They walked past an animal skull and entered a cavern. A staff with a grip and crystals were shown. The crystal was placed on the staff and dunked in some water causing the crystal to light up. The scene blurred and changed to a woman with red hair writing.
"No-nna! Here." She was in a room with three kids and showed the paper to a girl "Oh wow!That's my name! It says Nonna" she exclaimed. "Hey I wanna see my name too!Wait I wanna go first, Saphron" A random kid said holding a piece of paper. "Sure, one at a time" she was about to start before a kid ran from the entrance and surprised her " Saphron turned and gasped.
"It's my sister." Jaune snapped out of his depressed state upon seeing her. "Is that really her?" asked Phyrra. "Yeah It looks exactly like her, except for the hair… She actually has blond hair like me." seeing her relieved him. 'I should really call my family after this' he thought.
"Jaune!"She cried when she lept and hugged him. "Jaune, Thank goodness. " "Saphron" he started before she pushed off "Well You took your time! Were you trying to give me a heart attack or something? And come on, How many times do I have to tell you to call me 'Big Sis''We came back as soon as we could" She looked at Neptune before looking down. "About Clover" He began"Jaune"- "Daddy!"
"Shit" both Taiyang and Qrow thought at the same time. Immediately figuring out where this was going to go. "It seems we're going to get quite a show" said Cinder to her henchmen
"Nonna!" saphron turned
"I'm so glad they're back! Where is Daddy?" She smiled as Saphron grabbed her shoulders ``Nonna,-" " I want to show him the letter I wrote myself! Where is Daddy ``''- Listen to me Nonna" She was stopped by Jaune who grabbed her shoulder and stared at her with dead eyes. He got on one knee and held onto Nonna. A drop from the cavern fell. "Nonna" she stared at his hand. " Your papa, Won't be coming home." She looked in frightened disbelief "How...come?""He's dead" he coldy responded. She shook her head and wailed out. Slapping him " Your Lying! He ignored it "It's true" " No it's not!Daddy promised me he'd come home! He'd said we'd win!" Jaune gripped his chest and narrowed his eyes
Ruby's eyes started to tear up. Memories of hearing about Summer's death popping up in her head while watching. Qrow took a big gulp from his flask before offering some to Taiyang. He looked like he was about to decline before changing his mind and taking a swig.
"He said he'd be here! He said humans would win!" she continued to cry."We will win.- He clenched his bag - that's why your daddy fought so hard. He did it so the rest of us could win." jaune responded robotically. "That's not winning anything! It should have been you"!- His eyes widened -"You're the one who should have died" "Nonna!" Saphron stopped her with a hug
Jaune silently got up to walk away. "Why don't you two clean yourselves up in the bath?" Saph said without looking back. "I'll just dust myself off." was his quiet response "No. Take a bath. You guys stink." she joked with tears in her eyes.
The scene changed to a door ,Jaunes' voice could be heard from the outside "So we could win" he started before suddenly raising his voice " Im god damm hypocrite!" Jaune threw his pack onto a shelf causing various books and things to fall. "Clover threw his life away!" he raged ripping apart the shelf "And I Killed him! I sacrificed him so I could live a little longer!" Hitting the shelf repeatedly with his fist causing it to bleed before the shelf broke.
He quieted down and fell on his knees despairingly "If this keeps going on... What's the point?- A close up on his bleeding hand " How far will we have to go? Do we have to kill half the population to save the other half? How many have to die?!" Saphron could be seen leaning outside the door
He clenched his hair " Do we have to keep going till there's only one left? When will I be done with this?How long will we have to keep living like animals?" the scene faded to black
"Alright that's a good stopping point for now " Larry's voice came out. The movie was paused
The lights came on and he appeared in front of the audience." I know you guys must have multiple questions ,i'll answers a few without spoiling anything "
The ever curious Doctor Oobleck immediately asked " They mention the Sun as a fairy tale ,how have they not seen it?" "Ah that…The answer is kinda depressing. At this point the war has gone on for long and that the stronger races permanently altered the landscape and sky. The result is that ashes completely covered the sky and changed the once blue sky a deep red." Larry answered
"That is depressing" muttered Yang
"Stronger races? How many are there" questioned Ironwood. " To answer that, I'll give some background knowledge. At this point there are 16 intelligent races listed in this world, ranked by how well each race can use magic." Larry patiently explained.
"The gods themselves are ranked 1 in this world and with the exception of 2 all on the list are their creations.
"I just realized this is gonna take forever! Larry suddenly exclaimed "I know you guys must have tons of questions , so I will answer the most obvious ones"
"One faunus exist however they are a bit different you'll see later in the movie, two humanity is very low on the list ;It's last I think because they can't use aura, and finally three the dopplegangers exist because these are alternate worlds don't break your brain trying to make sense of it."
Before anything else could be asked Larry disappeared and the lights turned off. The movie started again
Wow, that was a lot harder to write than I'd thought it'll be. The ending to the chapter was a bit rushed in case you'd noticed because I really wanted to post an update. Would you guys prefer for me to update short chapters like this every Sunday or big chapters in like a month. I really want to finish this series but I'm a very slow writer. I don't know how to make polls lol.
