Ruddy sidestepped a Sabyr. He grabbed the Grimm by its fangs before slamming it to the ground. Ruddy aimed Fusillade at the Grimm's head.
The Grimm's head was blown apart as Ruddy rolled the corpse to the side. He looked into the smoke before a noise caused him to loke up and at the sky.
Ruddy watched a Nevermore flying overhead. The Grimm let out a cry which shattered windows and caused Ruddy to hiss in pain as his suit's audio sensors shot up. He watched a pack of Beowolves rampage down the street followed by a pack of screams.
Ruddy clicked the hammer of his gun and cursed. These Grimm would rip the city apart within an hour if they weren't exterminated.
Ruddy was cut off by another Sabyr as it lunged at him. Ruddy brought his knee up which caught the Grimm in the chin.
The Grimm flipped onto its back, its tusks shattering from the high-tech armor impacting its frame. Ruddy looked at the Grimm for a second and then slammed its foot down on its skull.
It shattered and crushed the Grimm under it before another Sabyr leapt off a car at him. Ruddy turned and fired a bullet through the Grimm's mask. It crashed into another vehicle, shattering the windshield before it rolled over the hood and onto the pavement.
"Help us!" Someone in the blizzard yelled asRuddy toggled the HUD on his helmet. "PLEASE!" Someone yelled while Ruddy stumbled through the smoke and whipping winds.
Ruddy looked around, trying to find someone and save them. There was so many Grimm. Ruddy turned at the sound of Grimm only to be met with nothing.
"This isn't happening…" Ruddy muttered to himself while slowly walking through the storm. "Why would they let this happen?" Ruddy questioned while sighing.
Ruddy could hear nothing but screams and the whipping wound of the storm. There was Grimm preying on anyone within the storm to begin with. Ruddy felt lost and alone.
He wanted to act… But he couldn't act fast enough. Ruddy turned at the sound of a Grimm howl from a Beowolf which caused him to blink.
Then an Beowolf knocked him to the ground Ruddy felt Fusillade slid out of his hand. Ruddy looked up at the snarling Grimm.
Ruddy tried to kick the Grimm off him only for another to emerge from the smoke and debris. The Grimm slammed him to the ground. His body glowed greyish blue while he continued to struggle with the Grimm.
Ruddy punched one of the Beowolves back only for another to knock him to the ground. Ruddy tried to push the Grimm back, he lacked the leverage to push himself to his feet. Ruddy tried to reach for his gun which had slid to a car.
Ruddy could feel their claws raking over him as more Grimm joined their attack on the cyborg. Ruddy felt his aura drain slightly more and grit his teeth. Ruddy could hear the sound of something coming over the howls but his mind was too focused on surviving the Grimm.
"I'm not going out like this…. Not again." Ruddy stated as he grunted and held up his cybernetic arms.
The sound of jets came down the street as Ruddy prepared to make a last stand against the approaching Grimm. Ruddy looked at the slobbering beasts who dripped spittle on his armored helmet.
That was before a green laser sliced through the Grimm, burning them to ash and scattering concrete as it headed up the street. Ruddy blinked and grabbed Fusillade before shooting the last Beowolf.
He looked up to see Penny floating down as Ruddy reloaded his weapon. The girl landed on top of an overturned car as the two cyborgs looked at each other. Ruddy opened his helmet and smiled awkwardly at the girl.
"I thought you weren't going to show up in time." Ruddy said and rubbed at his arms.
"I heard the Grimm sirens." Penny stated while Ruddy nodded. "Are you hurt?" Penny questioned while Ruddy shook his head.
"My Aura should be a bit worn down…" Ruddy said as the duo shared a look at each other. "But I'll live." Ruddy said while the duo looked around at the city.
"The others are evacuating the city." Penny stated before a trumpet could faintly be heard in the distance.
"We're hold here, then?" Ruddy questioned and turned to see a massive Grimm headed their way. "Oh, this is going to suck." Ruddy stated and cocked his weapon.
"Megoliath are not unkillable, Ruddy." Penny stated while activating her thrusters.
"It's still the size of a tank…" Ruddy said as a pack of Beowolves and Sabyrs join us. "What's the play?" Ruddy questioned while looking to Penny. He twirled his gun and sighed.
Ruddy knew the massive Grimm could be killed… But that was not something that could be so easily done. Penny should know that by how.
"I will distract the Megoliath…" Penny said before looking at the charging Elephant Grimm. "I will suggest you take down the Grimm supporting them in the meantime." Penny added which made Ruddy sigh.
Ruddy was about to speak up when Penny flew towards the hulking elephant Grimm. She fired a barrage of blasts at the Megoliath which caused it to trumpet and then looked to the side.
"This is going to suck…" Ruddy muttered to himself while closing his helmet.
Ruddy rushed in and fired a bullet which punched through a Beowolf and buried itself inside a Sabyr.
Another Beowolf lunged at Ruddy who grabbed its arm and slammed it into a parked car. He used his free hand to shoot another Beowolf as it went to flank him.
Ruddy crushed the Grimm's neck. Ruddy looked at one of the remaining Beowolves.
He was interrupted by Penny flying backwards and using her swords to stop her acceleration backwards. Ruddy watched the Megoliath let out a huff of air as the Grimm approached them.
"Penny?" Ruddy questioned and cycled the next bullet into the chamber. "How exactly did you plan on killing that?" Ruddy questioned and hummed.
The hulking Grimm huffed and looked at them with disgust. Ruddy braced himself for a fight with the massive monster. The other two Beowolves looked about to charge before the Megoliath warned them back.
"Can you throw it off balance?" Penny questioned as she hummed.
"Um…" Ruddy stated while looking at the lumbering beast. Ruddy felt more unsure of winning then he usually did. "I'll try?" Ruddy questioned and looked at the ground.
Ruddy felt the ground shake as the massive Grimm raced at them. Ruddy sighed and rushed forwards towards the Grimm. He slid under the Grimm's legs. Its legs smashed the ground. Ruddy stumbled and crashed into a car.
The Grimm, however? Slammed into a building, throwing snow to the ground and shattering the windows. Ruddy turned in time to see the Grimm huff in anger.
'How the hell are we going to kill something this big?' Ruddy questioned himself mentally.
He wasn't prepared to give up… But in terms of fighting a Grimm like this was not something he enjoyed.
Penny spun Floating Array before sending the swords into the side of the Grimm's skull. She pulled the Grimm to the side as Ruddy fired a bullet towards its face. The bullet impacted its hellish red eye.
The Grimm screeched in pain and tugged its face to the side, sending Penny flying before she used her thrusters to catch herself.
"We need to find a soft spot in its armor!" Ruddy yelled and cycled the next bullet in his weapon.
The Megoliath glared at them with its remaining eye as smoke billowed from it. The Grimm let loose a trumpet which shook the area and shattered the rest of the windows.
"Ruddy, can you slow it down for a moment?" Penny questioned as she readjusted her weapons and hummed.
"You do realize we're fighting a Grimm the size of a truck, right!?" Ruddy questioned, his voice finally sounding more annoyed then anything. "Putting a dent in this thing is going to be next to impossible already! How can we possibly attempt to try and destroy that!?" Ruddy questioned while he hummed and looked to Penny with anger.
Ruddy watched Penny fire her weapons into the Grimm's head, causing it to be pushed backwards. Ruddy cracked open his weapon and loaded a few elemental bullets in his weapon.
"Are you sure?" Ruddy questioned before getting a nod from Penny as the giant Grimm charged them once more.
Ruddy rushed to the side while he cycled the weapon around. The HUD of his weapon. Penny sent a quartet of swords into the animal's back leg.
Ruddy fired a pair of shots from his weapon. The Megoliath let out a roar of pain as snow and frost covered it's left leg. The Grimm looked at it's legs before Penny sent 3 more swords into its other leg.
Penny zoomed up into the air before spinning as the sent herself crashing back down.
"Ruddy, get it's eye!" Penny yelled before Ruddy cycled the next bullet in the gun.
Ruddy fired and was greeted with flames burning through the creature's other eye. It shrieked in pain and agony and reared up before Penny slammed feet first into its remaining eye.
The creature's mask shattered as a crunch filled the air. The Grimm collapsed to the ground, it let out a final trumpet and then slowly collapsed into smoke. Ruddy sighed and scanned the air. There was a bad omen on the air. Ruddy didn't like it at all and it made him wonder if more… No, more Grimm WOULD COME.
"I think that's the last of them…" Ruddy said before rolling his shoulder as his aura flickered.
He looked up at the snow which continued to fall. Ruddy turned to Penny and holstered his weapon. Ruddy opened his mask to take a breath and hummed.
"You should get back to Atlas." Ruddy said and cracked his neck. "I'll make sure the people get to the evac zone. The people in the air are going to need an escort." Ruddy said before turning back and closing his mask.
Penny said nothing, unsure what to do at the moment.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will merge 'Gravity and Friends like this… Cinder's battle in Enemy of Trust will be 2500 words and will end season 7… I plan on ending the story in season 8. Next chapter will be in a few days. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
