Penny could only gaze at Ruddy who was busy sitting motionless on the table. His aura flickered several times as Pietro continued to look at the wounded cyborg. Penny held his hands in hers. Pietro had the cyborg's armor removed to look better at his cybernetics, leaving his chest bare and him with the bodysuit each Atlesian soldier wore.

"Why doesn't he wake up?" Penny asked while she clutched the motionless cyborg's hands.

"Dear, he's fought against someone who was out of his league…" Pietro said while trying to work on the teenager. "That kick might not have done much to him… But coming from someone as strong as her? it could have broken his ribs." Pietro added and looked at Penny.

Unlike Winter who was busy recovering at the hospital with Weiss watching over him? The rest of the others were trying to find a way to launch Amity Arena. Ruddy was taken to Pietro since the cybernetics inside his body were created by Pietro.

Penny had refused to leave Ruddy to his fate. He had come to help her; she would return the favor.

"General Ironwood wants to talk to you soon, dear." Pietro said in an effort to pry his daughter away from Ruddy.

Penny gave a flat nod which made Pietro smile. Penny cared enough to stay by her partner? It told him all he needed to know about Ruddy in the future.

"How do you feel?" Pietro questioned as Penny curled her fingers around Ruddy's hands.

"I'm fine, father." Penny answered which caused Pietro to nod and leave to contact General Ironwood.

Penny removed her gloves slowly and set them aside. She looked down at her hands and clasped one of Ruddy's hands. She squeezed his hands gently.

"Please wake up…" Penny muttered and looked at her fellow cyborg.

For a moment? There was little movement and Penny was beginning to wonder if the question Ruddy had asked before was the last statement, she would hear from him.

Penny blinked as Ruddy's fingers curled around hers. Penny looked at Ruddy as the cyborg groaned slightly.

"Uh…" Ruddy muttered and groaned before he slowly began to breath. He didn't fully wake up, but it gave Penny a sign he'd recover from his battle with Cinder.

Penny turned to see Pietro at the door as she turned to go and talk with General Ironwood. Pietro looked at his daughter for a moment only to see her eyes flutter. They glowed with the green flames from before. But it told Penny enough.

She left while Pietro slowly approached Ruddy. He took a deep breath and groaned as his body slowly unwound.

"Ruddy?" Pietro questioned while he turned to look at him. "Can you hear me?" Pietro asked Ruddy who managed to open an eye slightly.

"Yes… Doctor." Ruddy said and grunted which was followed by a long deep breath. "Where are we?" Ruddy questioned as he tried to sit up. He couldn't feel his limbs.

"Ruddy?" Pietro questioned while Ruddy grunted and slowly turned his head to look at him. "Your fight at the Atlas medical facility ended with you and Specialist Schnee injured… Do you remember anything?" Pietro asked as he started to walk over to him.

"Not much, doctor…" Ruddy stated and tried to flex his limbs. "Why can't I sit up?" Ruddy questioned as he looked over at Pietro before grunting as he tried to do so.

"Your cybernetics are currently powered off besides the one supporting your spine." Pietro stated which caused Ruddy to hum. "Penny hasn't left your side for 3 days since you've gotten here… She cares about more then you could possibly know." Pietro added as Ruddy nodded.

"She… Was fighting a woman with swords and fire." Ruddy said and cleared his throat for a second. "The pilot wanted to drop off wounded at the hospital. I heard a noise and went to investigate. I found her fighting that woman." Ruddy added while he shook his head.

Ruddy looked up at the ceiling through his working eye as he sighed and grunted. Pietro turned to look at the console next to him. He couldn't see much at the moment.

"Where's… Penny?" Ruddy questioned slowly while taking another deep breath.

"She left to tell General Ironwood what happened at the hospital." Pietro stated and sighed deeply. "Something is very different with her. She's never had this literal fire in her eyes." Pietro added as Ruddy clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"That woman in the hospital… Made a storm." Ruddy put in which caused Pietro to turn to him. "Does she have that power now?" Ruddy asked as Pietro blinked.

There were things he had to know for certain… Most of all? He wanted to wonder what would happen to his daughter and Ruddy. He knew they cared about each other… But how much was the question.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point most chapters will be 900-1200 words. I'm not putting in the evil Ironwood and such because I don't feel like he or Salem have any personal connection to Penny. Cinder's group, Tyrian, Watts and Hazel are the villains. Next chapter will be in 2-10 weeks and will show Ruddy and Penny talking and expand on their feelings as well as set up a fight with Tyrian. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
