JAKENstein: I'm glad to see you feel that way! And to answer your question, Adrian will pilot all of the MS you mentioned and then some.

"Mind explaining what this is?" Ramba Ral asked as Dozle Zabi led him and Crowley down a corridor.

"You'll see in a moment," He said simply, as a door slid open in front of him.

"Can you begin testing immediately?!" Dozle shouted,

"Yes sir!" A Scientist moves to a control panel and types quickly, in response, a robotic voice begins to speak:

"Activation Code: Confirmed - Mobile Units on Standby: Two MW-01 Early Type Mobile Workers. Activating Mechanics Monitoring - Activation Successful. Conditions: Green. Test may now begin."

"What is this…?" Ramba asked,

"This, Mr. Ral, is the future of armored warfare." Dozle turned to the screen as live-footage from one of the Workers popped up.

"Warrant Officer Ortega! Is everything alright?!" An engineer asked over the radio

"Yes. Bit cramped but I'm fine!"

"Ortega? He made Warrant Officer?!" Ramba asked

"Many of your former subordinates are here as well," He nodded towards Gaia, who waved.

"Gaia?! You made commissioned officer?"

"So did Mash. We're all here as test pilots. Of course, it could never be the same without you Captain. How's Adrian by the way?"

Ramba looked down, Crowley shifted uncomfortably as Dozle eyed them with a single eye.

"Ah." Gaia retreated a few paces, "I see."

The robotic voice cut off further conversation, "Test is beginning. Range: 600 meters. Target: RTX-65 Guntank. Target currently on standby."

"Begin testing!"

Ortega wasted no time. He began to walk towards the Guntank, but then it began to open fire with it's arm mounted MGs.

"Keh!" Ortega scoffed as he raised up his Worker's shield to block the bullets as he accelerated into a charge. Then, he lept up into the air several meters, using his foot thrusters to push him up before bashing the Guntank in the head with the shield. Sending it sailing clean off, behind him, the tank exploded.

"Show-off." Gaia rolled his eyes.

Ramba Ral was focused on the Mobile Worker's performance…"Wow…"

"RTX-65 successfully destroyed. Test is successful." The room erupted in cheers right then and there.

"He showed that stupid Feddie tank what's what!" Gaia cheered. Dozle only smirked slightly as Ortega raised his Worker into a standing position.

3 years later...April UC 0074,

"You really didn't know Madame Roselucia passed away?" Crowley asked sadly.

"No...I'm afraid I'm not told much of anything nowadays…" Artemisia sighed, "Not even about the children."

"They're both doing well! A man named Teabolo Mass adopted them on Earth and-" Crowley paused, realizing her mistake.

"That's alright Crowley…" Artesia smiled, "It's good to have news of them." She looked towards her, "How are Adrian and Rosary doing?"

Now it was Crowley's turn to drop her head, "They're doing well with the Sahalins. But…"

"It's fine if you don't want to talk about it." Artesia said,

"No! No." Crowley said quickly, "I'm just worried...Adrian and Aina applied for the Guardian Banchi Academy."

"Oh...Aina is the Sahalin's youngest daughter...right?" Artesia asked, and Crowley nodded.

"You know...I believe we have the same wish." Artesia smiled weakly.

"What's that?" Crowley asked,

"For one night...we want to be with our children."

Achilles, Side 3

"Honestly, can't you ever take a break?" Rosary complained as Adrian flipped through a book.

"I want to go to Guardian Banchi prepared." Adrian replied quietly,

"You're obsessing about the history of the Earth Federation." Rosary rolled her eyes,

"It's interesting. For example, did you know that the original Universal Century Charter is missing to this day?"

"The Universal what?"

"Universal Century Charter. It's the original constitution for the Earth Federation. It disappeared in an attack on Laplace colony, where it was meant to be unveiled."

"Sounds boring." Rosary yawned

Adrian didn't respond, but only closed his book.

"By the way, has you and Aina's acceptance letter come yet?" Rosary asked.

"No, not yet unfortunately." Adrian sighed, "I know I passed though."

"How do you know?" Rosary raised an eyebrow,

"Because I know." He shrugged. Suddenly, a knock came from the door.

"Come in!" Rosary called,

Aina rushed in, breathless. "They came through! They gave us the scholarships!"

Adrian gave Rosary an I-told-you-so look, and she groaned. "Don't give me that egotistical look, I hate it."

Achilles Academy

Adrian looked out the window as the teacher droned on and on about the Earth Federation's inception. The only interesting thing, in fact, was that there was a guest attending today. A member of the ruling party of the Autonomous Republic of Zeon, the Zeon Party.

"As I was saying, the Earth Federation founded the colonies to provide its citizens with homes while simultaneously slowly reducing it's burden. However, the Colonies led to solutions for other problems as well. Housing became more affordable on Earth as many moved to the colonies, overpopulation lessened-"

"Don't forget to mention that those considered undesirable by the Earth Federation were man-hunted off planet." The party member scoffed. And for the first time, Adrian truly studied the woman. She was approximately six years older than him, and her hair had grown out more towards the left side of her face. Her ponytail was tied messily too, and also seemed to fall towards the left side.

"Er - Miss…"

"Cadillac. Monique Cadillac." She brushed him aside. "I've listened quite enough of you glorifying the Earth Federation, while you conveniently brush aside it's misdeeds. What about the fact that the 'Earth Federation' had to practically reconquer Africa? Or that it's political opponents were deported to the colonies?"

The old teacher stammered, clearly at a loss for words. Monique seized his weakness. "The Earth Federation is a corrupt government, and everyone here knows it. Except it seems, for you."

"T-That's treason!" The teacher finally got out,

"According to archaic and draconian laws." Monique shot back.

"Yeah!" One student cheered, "You tell that old sot!"

"Sieg Zeon!" A student cheered, and many others joined the cry, the teacher had lost all control at this point.

Adrian simply looked on indifferently 'It's so easy to get people worked up. Too easy.' He rolled his eyes. Not noticing that Ms. Cadillac was looking straight at him.

"Ms. Cadillac got a good head on her shoulders!" Adrian's friend Kalriss said to him.

"And she's smoking hot too." Another boy replied,

"And she's right. The Earth Federation is driving Earth to ruin, and they'll take us with them." Kalriss said, suddenly switching to a darker tone.

"Not if Degwin Zabi has anything to do with it." The second boy raised his fork, "I heard from my father, he works in a top secret facility, they're testing a whole bunch of new weapons."

"You're full of bollocks Samuel." A third boy replied, "My father says this whole 'nationalism' thing will blow over, and we can come to a peaceful solution with the Federation."

"Peaceful solution, my ass Jonah!" Samuel shot back, "Those Feddies were more than happy to bulldoze us with their tanks back in the 0060s! I bet we'll be whipping them real soon!"

"Speaking of: Who's planning to go to Guardian Banchi?" Kalriss asked,

"I got accepted." Samuel said,

"Damn...lucky. I failed the exams."

"That makes two of us." Kalriss said, "What about you Ryan?"

Adrian looked up, and all of his friends looked at him expectantly, "I got a scholarship." He said quietly

"What?!" They said in unison.

"I heard that's like: ridiculously hard. On top of the entrance exams, you have to take another exam that's like 10 times harder." Kalriss asked,

"It was fine." He shrugged.

"Why'd you never tell us?!" Samuel asked indignantly,

"Why'd you need to know?" Adrian responded cooly.

Samuel opened his mouth, but any comebacks died on his lips, and he only said:

"Touché."

As Adrian headed out, he was in a bit of a daze when he ran into someone walking a bit briskly ahead of him.

"Ow!" A woman's voice called out in irritation. "Watch it kid!" She turned around,

"Right." Adrian said quietly,

Her eyes narrowed, "Hey, you're one of the kids from the class I was in, right?"

Adrian nodded, "My car is up ahead. If you'll excuse me." Adrian nodded before passing her by,

"Tch. Rude tyke." Monique shook her head before hurrying off as well. Little did either of them know, that this would be the beginning of their legendary relationship.
