So I'll be ending this fic here, since I don't really find this one all that enjoyable to write. I might include a scene where Nora's talking with a lawyer pre-trial to see if she can avoid prison time. This chapter isn't really a journal entry, but rather Nora's about to have an interesting conversation with her husband.

Nora growled as the guards forced her out of bed, dreading the day. It was the 1st of August, which means visiting hours were up, and Nora was sincerely hoping Linnie wouldn't show up. She just couldn't face him anymore after what he had put her through over the last month.

After the day of eating slop, working out in the field, and dealing with asshole prisoners, 3 o'clock showed it's face, and the guards took Nora and the other prisoners down to the common's area, where visiting hours were mostly held (in-person if you still had that privledge, over-the-phone if you were max security or had exhibited violent behaviors in the prison, or none at all if you were in solitary or lost the privilege). Somehow, Nora wasn't sure why she didn't try anything to get out of it. She guessed she was too focused on trying to get out that visiting days came and went for her.

Nora felt herself get angry as the surrounding female prisoners started whistling and hooting as Linnie went inside and checked himself in, occasionally hearing a flirting phrase from one of them.

"Hey baby..can I get your number? Man, the things I'd do to you if I weren't stuck in this shit hole.", one of them cat-called, making Linnie squirm uncomfortably as he flew towards Nora's table, a nervous yet firm look on his face.

"Nora.", he said simply, barely acknowledging her.

"Bitch.", Nora said back with the same tone. Linnie snickered.

"Wow Nora. What an insult. You really don't change do you?", he giggled before his smile dropped, replaced by a somewhat angered look on his face, "So, how's prison?"

"Hell. What do you think, Linnie? All these people do is torment and abuse me daily! You gotta get me out of here! Look, I'm sorry for what I did last month! I won't do it again! I swear!", Nora pleaded, though Linnie was not phased.

"Oh really? They abuse you? Well, that will certainly teach you for what you put me through.", Linnie said, "And you're not sorry. I thought you hated me? I thought you wanted me dead? Why the sudden change in goals Nora dear? I thought you said you were tough enough to handle this place."

"Yeah well..", Nora stammered before slapping herself mentally. Why was she letting him talk to him like that? She slammed her fist on the metal table, startling Linnie and making him sink in his seat, "Don't speak to me like that, you little shit! I am your wife! Don't you realize I'm here because of you!?"

"W-W-Well Nora…no…you're not.'

"Excuse me!? You keep back talking me after what I had just told me? Oh honey, you're lucky my ass still has these fucking handcuffs."

"See! This is my point! You're not sorry for what you did. You just want me to bail you out! Well, no Nora! You're just going to have to do your time like everyone else. The world doesn't revolve around you, you know."

"Neither does you, you arrogant little worm!", Nora yelled, getting angrier when Linnie rolled his eyes, "And Don't fucking roll your eyes! You're not a teenager, and that's no way to treat a woman!"

"You know, you're absolutely right my dear. And that's exactly why I rolled my eyes."

"Oh fuck you, you little shit! You're nothing but a deadbeat father, who's only quality is the good looks you've got. You ain't nothing special! No one gives a shit about you! I don't! The kids hate you! I hate you! I wish you were fucking gone.", Nora said, making Linnie's heart drop. Though not wanting to lose confidence, he sucked his tears up and got up from his seat, looking at Nora sadly but coldly.

"Well fine, if that's how you really feel, then I'll leave."

"Fine, but before you do, I got something to tell you. When I get out, I expect you to have a nice meal ready for me. Steaks and whiskey would be preferable but I wouldn't complain if you decided to take me out to eat."

"Pfft..you really have some audacity Nora. I'm leaving.", Linnie scoffed, his face scrunched up slightly as he got back up, ignoring more cat calls from the prisoners, "Honey, you'll be lucky if I let you into the house at all, let alone with a nice meal waiting."
