RECAP
"RUBY! What the hell is wrong with you!? Why would you say something like that to her?" Yang screamed at her.
Pushing past the blond Ruby made her way over to her bunk without saying a word and took her case with her clothes in. turning around to head back out of the room she was stopped by Yang who had stepped in front of her again.
"Don't ignore me! What were you thinking saying that to her!?"
Looking up at the blond whose lilac ayes were now red, she said. "It has nothing to do with a weakling such as yourself."
This only further enraged Yang as she now pushed Ruby backwards away from the door.
"You, are not going anywhere." Yang said suddenly jumping forward to hit Ruby in the face, who promptly ducked under her arm and brought her fist up into the blonds face, braking her nose with a loud crunch.
Dropping to her knees Yang looked at Ruby with hate in her eyes and said to her. "You walk out of that door and you are no longer my sister."
Smirking, Ruby lifted Yang's face up. "You were never my sister." Before punching the blond in the face repeatedly. After a few hits she fell to the floor with a cry of pain and a bloody face.
"That's enough Ruby" Blake said drawing Gambal Shroud and pointing the blade at Ruby. "This stops right here right now."
Before Blake could move she heard a bang and saw a flash of light. Slowly looking down she saw a hole in her stomach that was oozing blood.
In a weak voice she said. "How could you…"Before falling to her knees in front of Ruby.
Ruby smirked before kicking her in the face. Watching the girl fall to the ground she turned around and slowly walked out of the dorm room. Heading to the Airdocks she could hear a ear splitting scream coming from the dorm rooms. 'Looks like they found my mess… I need to get going before someone else stops me.'
Boarding the waiting Bullhead she yelled at the pilot to take off. 'This is goodbye I guess.' She thought as she looked at Beacon academy slowly shrining in the distance.
Settling down in her seat she sighted and closed her eyes trying to get some sleep in before her last mission.
Little did she know what was waiting for her.
RECAP END.
WEISS'S POV
'Why?'
That was one of the many questions circulating thru Weiss's mind at the moment.
'Why did Ruby say what she did? Why did she beat Yang? Why did she shoot Blake?'
She contemplated these questions as she in silence on a chair in Beacon's infirmary, watching over her injured teammates.
Weiss did not understand why Ruby acted like that. It was not her normal behaviour, or was it? She was starting to doubt if she knew the girl at all.
She never told them why she went away every so often, she never even specified where she was going or what she was doing.
As she sat there by her teams side in the infirmary she contemplated all this and more.
1 HOUR LATER
Weiss was having a fitful sleep when Ozpin walked into the infirmary.
"Miss Schnee, if you have time I would like to have a talk with you about Ruby." Ozpin said when Weiss woke up upon his entry.
The heiress nodded for him to continue. As Ozpin sat down across from her, he lifted his mug to his lips and took a sip of his coffee.
After a few moments of silence he began to speak. "I take it you would like to know why Miss Rose did the things that she did today? Well, you see Miss Rose has had a difficult
couple of years in her time at Beacon."
"What do you mean professor?"
"Well for starters, you do not know your teammate at all… At least not the real Ruby. You only know the front she has put up for the last few years."
"I'm afraid I do not understand what you are saying, how could It be a front? I would like to think I know what Ruby is like." Weiss said looking confused.
"Well for starters I should probably tell you why she was admitted to beacon two years earlier than anybody else. You see Weiss, to put it simply, Ruby is a spy and an assassin. The best there is in fact. There has never been anybody quite like her. You may know her better by the name of Agent Rose."
"So you are saying Ruby is the most wanted person in all of Remnant? The same Agent Rose wanted for mass genocide and billions of Lien's worth of damage? I have a hard time believing what you are instigating."
Ozpin sighed before he said. "Well, if you believe it or not, it is the truth. The reason she did what she did today was cause she went on a very dangerous mission. A mission she's not likely to return from. She wanted to distance herself from you because she knows that you love her and she did not want you to grieve over her. She reasoned it would be much easier for you to hate her instead."
Weiss turned away from Ozpin with a sigh and said "Thank you professor." As she sat down on her chair against the wall.
Taking this as his que to leave he turned around and walked out of the infirmary heading back to his tower.
LINE BREAK
RUBY'S POV
Waking up Ruby repositioned herself on her chair in the Bullhead as she let out a yawn and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Remembering what she did to her friends she wondered if it was really necessary to for her to do what she did to them. 'No, I can't think like that, it was necessary for their own good. I would prefer it if they hated me for what I did instead of having them grieve over my death.'
Walking to the cabin she asked the pilot. "How long till we arrive at the drop-off point?"
"Five minutes Miss Rose, Please return to the cargo hold and ready your gear."
Returning to the cargo hold she ready's herself and her gear by checking if everything was as it was supposed to be. Satisfied that everything's in place she equips her gear and makes her way to the back of the hold.
After a few minutes of waiting the intercom came on and the pilot said. "We have arrived at the drop-off point. Please disembark the Bullhead."
Ruby opened the door to see that the sub was beginning to rise over the horizon. She calmly threw her stuff out of the door and then also jumped out of the door. As she fell she took in her surroundings and saw that her destination was still half a day's walk away from her current location. Nearing the ground she deployed Crescent Rose and swung it into a passing Nevermore's wing and using it as a way to cushion her fall.
Jumping off of the dead nevermore Ruby looked around her for her gear. Spotting it a few meters away dangling from a tree, she walked towards it and used a knife to cut the parachute suspending her stuff in the air.
Checking that all of her stuff was still present she pulled out a map of the area with the nest location marked on it, because scrolls were useless so far out in the wilderness, she tried to find where she were in proportion to the nest. Looking around for landmarks she spotted a huge rock a kilo away that sort of looked like a big fist. Looking on the map she spotted were someone was generous enough to mark it, she saw that she needed to go north for about half a day.
Sighing she pocketed the map and started northern direction.
A few hours later she came across a pack of beowolves and grinned. 'Time for a bit of fun.'
Taking out her scythe she walked towards the group of Grimm. Taking aim at an unsuspecting beowolf she pulled the trigger the nearest one's head exploded in a mess of flesh and black blood. The other noticed her then. Running closer she shot another one in the leg effectively immobilising it as its leg came off. As another came to close she swung her scythe at it cutting it in half.
Before the two halves of the beowolf could even hit the ground she already moved on and cut another one's head of. Spinning around she bisected one and pulled the trigger of the sniper causing her to shoot up into the air. Spinning the scythe she shot three more before she landed and used her semblance to appear behind the last one and shot it in its back causing it to fall to the ground in a screech of pain.
Grinning Ruby walked closer to the beowolf who was trying to crawl away she said. "Aww, does that hurt. You don't like it when you're the one who gets hurt do you?"
As the Grimm continued crawling away she waked closer and took her scythe out again. When the beowolf reached out its claw to try and get a grip on a rock to pull itself further she swung Crescent and took of its arm. The beowolf let out a loud roar as it looked at Ruby and snarled. Smiling she lifted her scythe above her head and brought it down on the beowolf's head, decapitating it.
As the head tumbled to the floor she let out a whine. "Why do they break so easily? I was soooo bored. Oh well, it can't be helped."
Ruby flicked her scythe causing the blood to splatter on the ground and leaving the blade clean, she switched it to its compact form and stored it on her back. She then began walking in the northern direction again.
"This is going to be a boring walk…" She said sighing again as she looked at her map.

NEO'S POV
Neo was not a stalker. Nope, nope and nope. She was definitely not stalking Ruby as she walked thru the forest to who knows where. She was definitely not smitten with the beautiful Rose. She had been following her ever since she saw her boarding the bullhead at beacon.
Neo was obsessed with Ruby ever since she first saw her at the docks three years ago when she and Roman were leading the White Fang on a Dust raid. She was delighted when Roman told her she was going on a mission to infiltrate Beacon to spy on the Rose girl.
When Roman died she continued her mission at Beacon. Not because Cinder told her to, because she was dead as well. Killed at the hands of Ruby Rose when she decided to infiltrate the CCT tower at beacon.
She was glad they were dead. Now she was free to do whatever she wants, because no one knew who Neo was because she always used a disguise to make sure nobody knew what the pink haired girl really looked like.
She had all these thoughts as she saw Ruby decimate a group of beowolves with brutal efficiency. And the cruelness she was doing it with! Oh, how she loved it. It was like art, the way Ruby painted the ground with their blood. She watched as Ruby taunted the last one before killing it and sulking because it died to soon.
With a grin she followed Ruby as she walked away, well tried to, as her scroll rang. Looking at it she sighed as she saw it was her team mates asking her where she was and when she would be returning from wherever she was. She texted them back that she was on her way and would be there in less than a day.
Looking back at Ruby she wished she could stay and keep 'observing' her. But, alas it was not meant to be. Turning back she silently wished Ruby good luck and began walking to where her personal bullhead was waiting for her.
LINE BREAK
EMERALD'S POV
Emerald was mad, really mad. At whom you might ask? Well that person would be none other than Neopolitan.
The little shit went after Ruby again. But at least she was on her way back after she asked her where the hell she went. She said that she would be back by tomorrow.
As for Ruby, well she was not mad about the fact that she killed Cinder and Mercury. Cinder was an abusive bitch. Emerald was delighted that that witch was gone now. Emerald was attracted to the red haired girl but Neo caught wind of it and told her off. She said that Ruby was hers and no one but hers, and that if Emerald went near her she would regret it.
So now she stays away from her, but she still has a crush on her, not as bad as Neo's tho. The girl was simply smitten with her. It was now at the point where it was becoming an obsession.
Luckily for them Ozpin does not know that they were involved with Cinder. Or maybe he did, but when that witch died they stopped with their criminal activities, well at least the ones that affected Beacon or Remnant in some way. Emerald still stole stuff every now and then, and Neo still killed people every now and then, but not many. So they were now under the radar.
Ozpin did not assign them another team. No, he simply left them as they were and made Emerald the new leader she was the more level headed on. That and Neo did not care one way or another.

RUBY'S POV
It was starting to get dark by the time Ruby arrived at the nest, and holy fuck it was huge. As she crept closer while concealing her aura as not to attract attention to herself, she slowly neared the entrance to what looked to be old ruins. As Ozpin said, there was a crap ton of Grimm around the place, everything from a simple beowolf to a giant deathstalker.
She carefully took out Crescent Rose and slowly opened it as not to make any noise, she took aim at the biggest deathstalker she could see. 'better to try and take the big one out first.' She thought as she took aim at one of its eyes.
Though she did wonder why she could not see any skinwalkers nearby, a she could sense at least two in these ruins.
She lined up her shot and squeezed the trigger. Causing a chunk of the deatstalker's head to explode, instantly killing it. she got up and ran at the nearest Grimm using her semblance and brought he scythe down on its neck.
