"I want to be a hero!" A young Izuku exclaimed, posing proudly on the dining room chair like All Might, but the only reaction he got from the other two who were present were wide eyes and pauses.

"Izuku, what are you wearing?" His father asked. The little boy was wearing a hoodie with cutout paper shapes roughly similar to the patterns on All Might's Golden Age costume. With two "tufts" of paper stuck to the hood to mimic the hero's hairstyle.

"Oh! It's an All Might costume! I made it myself." The little boy proudly told his family. "Do you like it?"

Tenko, the little boy's older brother looked to their father, who was visibly trying to hold a neutral face. Of all jobs... of all people... Hisashi squeezed the spoon he held.

His son's smile was so wide and full of mirth that Hisashi fought the urge to show displease and instead smiled at his youngest son, "Yes, I do."

Izuku looked out the window, watching as they drove past neighborhoods. He wore an excited face. He just can't wait to get to UA. He had always dreamed of it, ever since he was a kid. And now, he's finally going there. Of course, it helped that he was in the recommendations-

"Master Izuku."

Izuku looked up at the man around his 30s. He wore a chauffeur's uniform. His skin color is a light blue and has pointy ears. He looked at him confused for a second before he realized and covered his mouth with his hands. He was mumbling again.

The man just giggled, "You wouldn't happen to be nervous now, would you?" Izuku chuckled while scratching the back of his head, "Not really. I'm just... I'm finally going to UA. It's been my dream!"

The boy's smile was wide and pure making the chauffeur put on a simple smile to hide what he was really thinking.

It wasn't long until the car was slowing down and stopping in front of the gates of UA. Izuku's eyes glistened at the sight of the gates, and didn't take his time getting off the car. He didn't bother to look back at the chauffeur when he mentioned what time he was going to pick him up, he simply nodded, and heard the car leave.

Taking a deep breath, Izuku took his first step into his dream school. His green eyes shimmering, full of hope and dreams. This is it, he thought. I'm going to be a hero. He thought about how his father and brother would tease him about wanting to be a hero. They aren't fans of heroes, and seem to hang them in low light but they've been supportive of him.

Still, he went through some rules he made for himself... one being the rule of only using Quirks he handpicked himself for school. Think of it like going out, you would want to pick clothes that you would want to reflect you. Izuku had been homeschooled since his Quirk manifested so he hasn't really met other people other than his family and the servants they had at home but the one time he spent with a person outside of their home, he had to learn something important the hard way.

He was only able to practice the combination at the Recommendations Entrance Exam and a few times at home so he needs to go over them again, and make sure it becomes natural for him. Wouldn't want to accidentally use Doppelganger, that would be awkward.

Okay, so Air Cannon, Impact Recoil, Muscle Augmentation, and Fortify. These four make the best combination in battle, in addition they can all look like one Strengthening Quirk. Air Cannon is enough to pack a punch, but add in the other three and it would make for a boom! Haha-

Izuku was so lost in his mumbling that he didn't realize he'd taken a wrong step and was now on the way to the ground. Humiliation at the first day, great. He closed his eyes and just waited.

But it never came? He opened his eyes and saw that he was stuck in place, floating off just above the ground. He looked to his left, at the figure casting a shadow over him. It was a brown-haired girl with a round face.

She took his hand and moved him upright. Making her fingers touch, she said, "Release." Izuku landed on his feet.

"Thank you." He said.

"You're welcome. I heard it's bad luck to fall at your first day so, glad to help." The girl beamed at him. So bright, Izuku thought.

"You, you should be looking where you're going." Izuku turned his attention to the tall boy the girl was with, who was now hand chopping away. He continued to lecture Izuku and all he could do was listen, chuckle nervously, and scratch the back of his head.

"Well then. Good luck at General Studies." Izuku winced at the taller boy's statement but he didn't correct him. After that, they left.

"Wait. I didn't learn that girl's name." Izuku realized. But if they thought that he was General Studies, then that would mean they weren't. From they were built and the appearance of the taller boy, Izuku deduced that they might be in Hero Studies. The other boy looked similar to the hero Ingenium, so they could be related and probably an Iida.

Izuku sighed then made his way to his room. The door was huge! Although, it is to be expected since some students have Mutant Quirks that make them much larger that the average human being.

He took one last sigh for the morning and opened the door, turns out he had just entered a few minutes after the round girl and tall boy had since they were still on their way to their seats and was still chatting with their new classmates.

The girl looked at him and immediately recognized him, "Hey! You're the boy from earlier! Wow. You're in the Hero Studies? You sure don't look like it." The girl said as she walked towards him.

Izuku just laughed it off... was that a compliment or an insult?

"Thank you for earlier. I'm Izuku Midoriya." He introduced himself with a bow.

The girl replied by introducing themselves. "I'm Ochaco Uraraka. The boy I was with earlier is Tenya Iida."

Izuku was right. He is an Iida.

He heard a thud from behind him.

"If you wouldn't mind, could you stop your chat and go to your seats?" Ochaco looked shocked. Izuku looked at what said that and saw a man who looked like he hasn't slept in days, ironically, in a yellow sleeping bag.

Izuku's eyes widened and watched as the man got out of the sleeping bag and walked towards them. He looks familiar.

"Well?"

Izuku immediately got the message and went to the nearest empty seat.

"I am Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher. I'm not going to drag it out so go change into your PE uniform and meet me at the PE Grounds." He said.

Their new homeroom teacher looks familiar but Izuku can't put a finger on it.

"A Quirk Apprehension Test?" Izuku's classmate with spiky red hair repeated what their teacher said.

"Yes. In middle school PE, you were prohibited from using your Quirks. Well, you're no longer middle school students, you're now high school students of UA's Hero Studies. You will now take the same tests, with your Quirks." The man in black explained as he put eye drops on his dry eyes.

The whole class lit up at the mention of using Quirks for PE but Izuku only gulped at the thought. Showing off your prowess to this many people? Izuku remembered a memory of a blonde boy from years ago.

"I wouldn't be so happy if I were you." The whole class went quiet after their teacher's statement.

"Katsuki Bakugo." Izuku flinched at the mention of the name. He hasn't heard that name since-

"Why don't you demonstrate to your classmates your Quirk by pitching this ball?" The man ordered. A boy with blonde hair, red eyes, and a murdery look stepped forward and took the ball. It couldn't be him... right? Izuku asked himself.

He walked to one of the stone bases on the ground. He held the ball back, lifting his leg, winding up like one would at baseball.

"DIEEE!" The blonde yelled as he threw the ball, his hand setting off an explosion as he did. It is him. Izuku thought.

It is the boy from five years ago. The boy from the park. The boy that threatened him after he showed off his Quirks to the other kids.

You're nothing but a Deku! You think you're more powerful than me?! Think again! You're all show and no fight! Ha! DEKU! Izuku remembered the insult the boy threw at him.

The blonde turned to the class and started to walk back, their eyes meeting for a moment. Izuku winced.

"...Plus Ultra. If you can't reach that expectation, then I have no choice but to expel you." The teacher finished. Izuku didn't catch the first part of the teacher's speech but what he heard was enough. He wasn't going to risk showing off all four of the Quirks he chose for school, he'll just have to reach the minimum.

What followed is a bunch of tests, similar to the exercises he had as training with his father when he was little, and with trainers his father hired, when he was older. They were probably harder. Still, on each and every one of the tests that day, Izuku half-assed them on purpose, just to get to the minimum so that he won't get expelled.

Then finally, it was the whole class' turn to try pitching the ball. Each and every one was impressive in their own right. The highest score being Ochaco with an infinite score. Then it was Izuku's turn.

As he was walking to the stone base, he was thinking, I'll only need Air Cannon for this. Yes, just Air Cannon. It's already fit for the job. I just need to get by. I don't need to show off. I just need to pass enough that I don't get expelled.

He arrived at the stone base. He let out a sigh then wound back. He prepared the Quirk. He felt his arm tense up, gathering the power he'll need to throw this ball far enough. Then he threw.

The ball landed just a few meters, fifty-sixty something. Didn't even reach one hundred meters.

Izuku was confused. He had felt his arms tense up. He felt the wind that was being sucked in by his throw, so why didn't it go far enough?

"I erased your Quirk." The teacher answered as if he read his mind. He looked at the direction of the man and saw the man's eyes was glowing crimson, his hair and scarf now floating on air.

Eraser Head! The Erasing Hero! Izuku finally recognized him.

"Izuku Midoriya." Izuku tensed up at the way his name was called.

He fixed his stance and stood straight, "Yes, Sensei?"

"So that is you. Izuku Midoriya. One of the students that got through Recommendations?"

The class started to murmur.

"No way. Recommendations?"

"He didn't look powerful at all."

"That's amazing."

"I was there to watch the students taking the Recommendations Exam and saw how easily you beat the practicals. So I know what you're made of. So I ask you, why did you half-assed the tests purposefully?" The teacher asked as he walked until he was right up at Izuku's face.

"Well, I... uh..." Izuku couldn't answer.

"Didn't you hear what I said earlier? I said Plus Ultra. This school, this course is for those who wish to be heroes, those who'd be more than willing to put their all into becoming someone they've been dreaming of becoming since they were children. And you'd dare half-ass it?"

The man turned around and started to walk back to the rest of the class.

"Try it again. This time, put your all into it, or you're expelled. I don't care if you were a Recommended student. I will expel you if I think that you're still half-assing this test." The man threatened as he put in eye drops.

Izuku sighed once again. He gripped the new ball that his teacher handed to him while he was talking about how Izuku was purposefully half-assing the tests-which he was, so no argument there.

The boy closed his eyes, it was for a moment, probably to focus. But when he opened his eyes again, Shota saw something. He saw something sparkle. A look that said, even without words, how happy he was to use his Quirk. It was a look that many children have when they first manifest their Quirks but people lose it along the way because they'd taken their Quirk for granted. But this boy... this boy still had that spark in his eyes.

Unexpectedly, the boy's arm swelled and swelled and twisted, ripping the sleeve of his PE uniform as the muscles kept getting huge. Aizawa could hear the surprised murmurs of the students behind him. The boy wound up like he did earlier. Wind was sucked up as he threw the ball, the force so immense that it created a sonic boom. The floor broke and dust flew everywhere.

No one had noticed the honorable someone in his other form that had been watching out of sight, whose jaw dropped to the floor and blue eyes was full of fear because of what he had witnessed. No way... it can't be.

When the dust settled, Aizawa saw that Izuku was looking at him, waiting for the result with the most proud and content smile he's ever seen. Aizawa couldn't help but flash a sick but proud smile of his own.

"Infinite." Aizawa told them the boy's score.

He definitely accidentally used too many copies of Muscle Augmentation. It was supposed to be just a support Quirk. Well, it did the trick and impressed Aizawa-sensei so Izuku can't really complain.

Izuku looked at the PE shirt in his hand and sighed. Of course, because of that excitement, he forgot about his uniform and the sleeve tore.

He put the shirt in his locker and grabbed his regular uniform.

"Midoriya?" Izuku looked at the speaker. It's the Iida boy.

"Tenya? What is it?" Izuku looked at the boy with the Quirk Engine. Unexpectedly, the other boy bowed and started apologizing.

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I was being shallow and assumed you were a General Studies student, when in fact, you're more skilled than anyone else here."

Izuku was a little surprised but still, he was satisfied with the apology. "No, it's alright. My brother kinda teases me about how plain I look compared to him and our Dad so I guess I'm kinda used to it?" He made an excuse to not humiliate his classmate. I think he's had enough humiliation for today.

The Engine boy stood straight and forced a simple smile at his classmate's statement.

"Still, that was a very manly power!" Their spiky red-haired classmate hung his arm around Izuku, slightly surprising the green-haired boy, "What do you call it?" The red hair followed up.

"Um... Power Limb. It lets me use various levels of strength on my arms and legs." Izuku explained.

"With a Quirk like that, it's not surprising you got in through Recommendations." Their classmate with the Tape Quirk commented.

"It's not just it. My Dad had me training since my Quirk manifested. So I had a lot of practice with it. My Dad and brother had been supportive of me even though they don't like heroes that much." Izuku told them.

"They don't like heroes? Why?" Tenya asked.

"They think the job's a little hypocritical." Izuku bluntly answered.

"Oh please!" Izuku winced at the voice. A blonde boy was stomping towards him, pushing and shoving those who were in his way.

When he was just a meter away from Izuku, he talked, "Ha! It is the brat from years ago. DEKU!"

Izuku winced at the name.

"So you still think that you're more powerful than me?!" The blonde boy's arms popped explosions as he yelled. Izuku kept flinching at each explosion but kept his stance.

"Acting all weak then showing off! The typical Deku that I met at the park. If you really think you're more powerful then WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT ME?!" The blonde boy's explosion was bigger than before.

Izuku gave and took a step back.

"Enough!" They all looked at the man who had just entered the locker room. It was Aizawa-sensei. The sight of him made Izuku relieved.

"Bakugo, I prohibit you from fighting your classmate, especially outside of class activities." The man told the blonde boy.

"Change back to your uniforms and go to your next class."

Izuku was on his way out of the gate when his phone rang. He took it out from his pocket and saw that it was his brother calling.

"Hey, Tenko. How's abroad?" Izuku talked first.

"It's a painnn." His brother answered from the other side. Putting stress on the last word. His brother's reply made him laugh. The other side laughed too.

"So how was the first day? You weren't letting them win just because they're weaker like you used to do with me, were you?" His brother asked in a slightly coarse throat. Did he lose his voice recently or something? Izuku asked in his mind.

"No." Izuku denied but then backtracked, "I mean, yeah, but it was only because I saw this kid again. Bakugo? You remember him?"

The other side was quiet.

"Tenko? You still there?" Izuku asked.

"Uh yeah... I remember him." His brother's voice was quite low, there was some grim in it.

"Izuku... don't let him get to you, okay? You're powerful enough to beat him anyday." Izuku's brother told him. He could only chuckle.

It was quiet for a few seconds before Izuku changed the topic, "You really need to get your throat checked. Your voice sounds so wrecked. And you have such a smooth voice!"

Tenko only laughed, "I'm taking some lozenge at your wish. Don't worry about my throat."

"Okay." Izuku smiled and then he remembered something.

"Hey... is Dad there?" Izuku asked.

"Hm? He's busy right now. He'll call you later." His brother bluntly answered. Izuku went quiet.

"You miss him, don't you?" His brother asked. Izuku hummed yes, "I just want to see and hug him again."

"Hey, don't worry, he'll be home soon. I promise. We promise." His brother reassured him.

"Okay." Izuku's voice was without mirth.

"Anyway, I got to go. I'm needed." Tenko hung up. Izuku sighed.

"Midoriya!" Izuku looked at the person who called him. He looked back and saw two familiar faces walking his way.

"Ochaco, Tenya. Hi." Izuku waved at them. When they were a few steps away, Ochaco asked him, "You want to walk home with us?"

"Ah, no, thanks. Our chauffeur should be here any second." Izuku said. Then a car stopped in front of them. "Oh, here he is."

The chauffeur from earlier that day came out of the driver's seat and went around to open the door for Izuku and noticed the two other children. "You made friends, Master Izuku?" The chauffeur asked.

"Master? You're a rich kid? Wow. Looks really can be deceiving." Ochaco commented. Izuku blushed and scratched the back of his head.

"Hehe. Well, a rich man's kid." He chuckled nervously then he asked his new friends, "You guys want a ride?"

"Is it okay?" Ochaco asked.

"Of course, it is." Izuku answered.

Toshinori-in his true form-watched from afar as Izuku and his friends got in a car and drove away. He furrowed his missing brows. All for One's son is in UA. He thought.

Wait. No. No. He's letting his fear get ahead of him. The kid's Quirk is similar to the man but he has no proof. The kid doesn't look anything like the man. And his Quirk might just be a simple muscle enhancing Quirk that causes limbs to look eerily similar to the arm that-

Toshinori covered his mouth with his hand but some blood was still able to leak out. Damn that man. It's because of that man that he lost his stomach and now has a time limit on his hero time. Toshinori gritted his teeth, then his face softened.

At least, the man's dead.

At any case, he should investigate that kid. See if he is All for One's kid. If he is and he's in UA, he might be acting as a spy, an infiltrator. If he is looking for a way to avenge his father, then that's something he must prevent.

Toshinori wishes he's wrong. That that kid isn't All for One's son, because if he is...

Then I took his father away from him.
