Friday. Izuku and Adohira-san had just picked up his friends at their places. Unfortunately, Shouto wasn't allowed to come over so it was only Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya. They still have classes at Saturday which is why Ochaco and Tenya still had to bring their uniforms but it's not a big deal.
The car stopped in front of a big gate which confused Ochaco and Tenya.
"Um, what are we doing at the park?" Ochaco said after seeing greenery that was on the other side of the gate.
"Park? Oh no, that's just the front yard." Izuku answered. Ochaco looked at him in confusion. There were lamp posts at the other side, extending a few yards away. It looks like a park. The gate opened and the car continued in.
Then Ochaco was hit by a sudden realization, I'm going to a sleepover at a mansion!
It wasn't long before they finally arrived at the front of Izuku's home, where Izuku's brother was already waiting outside, along with a few servants. Tenya wasn't shocked by any of this, his family had been invited to a number of parties at houses like this. Ochaco, however, was a little shocked. She just realized that she was friends with two boys from rich families.
"Ochaco, Tenya, this is my brother, Tenko. Tenko, this is Ochaco and Tenya, my friends at school." Izuku introduced them.
"Nice to meet you two." Tenko greeted them with a smile, then he reached his hand out for a shake. First, with Tenya, then with Ochaco.
He's handsome, Ochaco couldn't help herself to think.
The servants that were with Tenko then took the bags from the car's trunk.
"Shall we go inside? The servants will bring your bags to your rooms while we have dinner. Then you can go train at the training hall." Tenko told Izuku's friends.
Ochaco couldn't stop looking at the brothers and comparing their looks. Eventually, Tenko noticed and asked, "Is something wrong, Ochaco?"
Ochaco blushed, "I-I'm sorry. It's just that you two look so different! It's hard to think you two are brothers."
Tenko laughed, "Izuku's too plain-looking, isn't he?"
"Tenkooo." Izuku blushed. Ochaco and Tenya chuckled.
"Izuku actually got our mother's looks, the green hair and round eyes. I look more like our Dad." Tenko told them. "A lot of people actually mistake us for not being brothers, but I assure you, we are. We have the same mother and the same father."
"But if you guys want more proof, I can have one of our servants get some hair bleach and you can see how much Izuku resembles me and our Dad with light hair!" Tenko suddenly suggested, shocking Ochaco and Tenya.
Then Tenko referred to one of the servants in the large dining room, "Can you please get some hair bleach ready after dinner?"
Before the servant could answer, Izuku protested, "No! Please, no. Don't."
Then he looked back to his brother, and said while guarding his hair with his hands, "Why do we have to mess up my hair to prove your point? If you want to prove your point, then dye your hair darker!"
"Aww... but I like my hair. There's no way I'm messing mine up, yours is better suited as sacrifice." Tenko told his little brother.
Izuku could only look at his big brother in disbelief.
"Jerk." The little brother said.
"That I am." The older brother retorted.
Ochaco giggled at the sight, Yup, they are brothers.
An hour or so after finishing dinner, Tenko and Izuku led Ochaco and Tenya to the training hall on the west wing of their home.
"Knock yourselves out." He added but then backtracked, "That was a figure of speech, please don't over do it. Especially you, Izuku. No more Power Limb at maximum levels, got it?"
Ochaco and Tenya took notice of Tenko's words.
"'Power Limb at maximum levels'? You mean the thing Izu-kun does where his arms become as huge as him?" Ochaco asked.
"Yes. When he was 13, we found that his repeated use of it at maximum power was slowly compromising the integrity of his bones so he stopped using it since then... until now, that is." Tenko glared at his brother. Izuku winced and chuckled nervously.
"Yes, I remember the first time Izuku used it in front of us. At Aizawa-sensei's Quirk Apprehension Test, right? Is that the reason why you haven't been able to produce the same size and power at our other classes?" Tenya asked.
Izuku chuckled nervously while rubbing the back of his head, "Y-you noticed, huh?"
"But..." Ochaco suddenly remembered, "Didn't you use your full power to save me from the ringleader of the villains at USJ?"
Ochaco's reminder of the USJ made Tenko freeze a bit, That's right... she was the girl from that day.
"Izu-kun, d-did you push yourself at that time just to save me?" Ochaco asked, then she took a deep breath and bowed to the two brothers. Tenko and Izuku looked at her.
"I'm sorry. Izu-kun used his full power to save me at the USJ incident. I didn't know that it was bad for him, then he got caught by the villains! All because I- I'm sorry!" Ochaco apologized with her head down low. Izuku immediately tried to tell her that it was okay.
"Ochaco-chan, it's fine. You're my friend. You were in trouble, I had to save you." Izuku told his friend. Ochaco stood straight and looked at her friend while wiping her tears away.
"But you could've..."
"But I didn't. And I wanted to save you. You're my friend. It's not your fault." Izuku smiled at her.
Tenko furrowed his brows at himself.
None of you are to blame. It was my fault. He thought. Yes, my little brother wasn't in any danger at all. There was no way those low level villains could lay a finger on him and as if I'd allow the Nomu or my Quirk to hurt him- that's why my fingers had always been covered and why we led him to believe I was Quirkless. But I should've realized Izuku would insist on going to school that day.
Tenko took a deep breath, then he said while clapping his hands, "Okay. Okay. If you guys are done, do you want to train now?"
The three friends looked at him and he gave them a smile.
"You three are here to train. If you don't want to be the one that needs saving, then I suggest you start training now." Tenko told the three teens. Their faces brightened and they nodded in unison.
"I'll go grab something for Izuku's bones, you guys stay here." Tenko said and proceeded to leave.
"Is that milk again?!" Izuku yelled.
"YES!" Tenko answered his brother from outside the hall.
As he walked through the brightly lit hallway, he fixed the collar of his turtle neck shirt. Then he whispered to himself, "It's about time we give Izuku a new gift, don't you think, Dad?"
Tenko made his way to his room, then he went to the back of his closet and opened a safe. Inside the safe were a number of vials labelled with the names of the Quirks that the DNA inside contained. Whose DNAs these were, Tenko doesn't know, but he's sure they're already dead. These contain Quirks that interested their Dad enough to set them aside to be given as gifts to Izuku.
Izuku's Quirk, "All for One" is the Quirk he inherited from their father. A Quirk that can steal other people's Quirks and use them as his own.
Of course, Izuku doesn't know his Quirks were from other people. All he knows is that his Quirks just randomly manifest. "Power Limb" is what they tell outsiders his Quirk is. "Gift" is what Izuku thinks is his true Quirk, the Quirk to manifest many Quirks.
It was a genius and necessary lie because Tenko and Hisashi knew how Izuku would react if he knew the true nature of his Quirk.
Tenko grabbed a vial labelled "Unbreakable". This should be enough for now.
After returning to the training hall, Tenko handed Izuku a glass of milk.
He wore a neutral face as he watched Izuku gulp down the glass of milk containing a drop of blood, the DNA containing his new Quirk. Tenko watched as his little brother absentmindedly wiped his lips. Then his face suddenly brightening with a realization.
Izuku went near his older brother and whispered so as to not be heard by his friends, "Tenko, it happened again."
"What happened again? You mean, it happened again?" Tenko played along. "Well, what is it this time?"
Izuku closed his eyes.
When he opened them, he answered, "It's a reinforcement Quirk."
"That's perfect!" Tenko acted pleased-well, he was, but he needed to play a part.
Ochaco and Tenya looked at them. Izuku smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry." Tenko apologized. "But that's great, isn't it? What are the specifics of it?"
"Hm..." Izuku activated his new Quirk in his arms. "It's reinforcing my muscle and bones, specifically. Maybe if I combine this with Fortify while I use Power Limb at maximum, the force of my hits won't recoil as much."
Tenko smiled. "Maybe. But I'd be more at ease if you still refrained from using Power Limb at maximum."
Izuku promised, but deep inside, Tenko knew Izuku'll break this promise before long.
Tenko took Izuku's glass and left them to train.
He took a deep breath, a slight sigh of relief. His brother is really stressing him out.
A week has passed, and it was already the three UA students' second week of training. Izuku was taking a small break, and was watching his two friends spar with one another.
Izuku took a drink of water as he watched Ochaco throw the now weightless barbell at Tenya, releasing her Quirk's effect on it as soon as it had enough momentum. The latter immediately rushed away from his previous location just in front of the training hall's door.
But unexpectedly, the door opened and Tenko entered.
Ochaco and Tenya's eyes widened, attempting to say something before the inevitable happens. But then, on reflex, Tenko caught the barbell with one hand- a 30-kg barbell with ease.
The two let out sighs of relief. This had actually happened once before, where Tenko was easily able to catch a heavy object in momentum as if it was a stuffed toy. He's Quirkless, yes, but damn, if he isn't strong.
"You'd think I'd learn from the first time." Tenko laughed it off. "Izuku, catch!"
Izuku acted quickly and activated Fortify as he caught the barbell.
"It's time for snacks. I brought cheese sticks, nuts, yoghurt, and orange juice." Tenko walked towards them as Izuku placed the barbell on the floor. He inspected the food his brother brought them. He took a deep breath, then he sighed while shaking his head.
Izuku looked at his brother in frustrated disbelief. "Really, Tenko?"
Tenya and Ochaco then inspected the food, then they realized, Ohh... they're food containing dairy... calcium... They tried to hold back their chuckles after the realization.
"Whatever do you mean, my dear little brother?" Tenko played dumb while trying to hold back a laugh. Izuku pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head.
Tenko, Tenya, and Ochaco then bursted in laughter. Izuku flushed red.
Tenko placed a hand on Izuku's green hair. The latter looked up from his embarrassment and saw his brother wearing a caring smile.
"Tomorrow's a big day." Izuku's older brother told him. "I just want you to be at your best."
At a dark room, only lit by the lights on the screens of various medical machines, Dr. Ujiko walked in to Hisashi who 'staring' at a photo he held. He acted as if he didn't take notice of it and pushed his cart towards the man, then he took a peek at the photo without the man noticing.
"This hour's medicine, Hisashi-kun." He told the man.
"Have they found her yet?" Hisashi asked in a tone of frustration and urgency.
"Your men have found the girl. The Shie Hiassaikai have been moving her since they've heard that you were looking for her-"
Hisashi clenched his free hand.
"But I've pinpointed the next location they'll bring her to. Your men are already waiting for her there." Dr. Ujiko assured his old friend.
"Good. My return home has long been overdue." Hisashi stated.
Dr. Ujiko took another peek at the photo Hisashi was holding, at the photo of Hisashi, Tenko, and Izuku from seven years ago.
