Jason realized that if Twilight came here of her own volition, then he really screwed something up.

"Why did you tamper with reality? You should know better!" Twilight said, quite angry that this child not only tampered with spacetime, but also kidnapped her friend.

Jason didn't really know how to explain himself. I mean, he DID kidnap Dashie by using this quantum tunneling device, but he wasn't trying to hurt anyone.

"Uh, I just wanted to make friends, that's all. I told Dashie already that she could leave whenever she wants. Seriously! Am I in trouble?" Jason asked, honestly quite terrified. Twilight could probably kill him by just thinking. Her magic is incredibly powerful.

"Making friends, huh? Normally, I would be all for that, but why tamper with the multiverse to do this?" Twilight continued to interrogate him, just to make sure his intentions are noble.

"Well, my brother has ADHD, so he is super hyper, and most kids find that off putting." Sophie said in the background.

"ADHD? What is that?" Twilight asked, confused.

"Just means my brain is everywhere at once, that's all. I can't focus well, and I need my brain to be quiet."

Twilight thought about this for a second: "Sound like you, Dashie, a lot like you." She said, realizing what this is. "Lemme guess, you are also super physically active to keep your brain quiet?" She asked, using her wits to get what she wants.

Rainbow Dash laughed: "Uh, yeah, he does this thing called "karate". Looks cool. Also this quantum device thingy caused this human to get infused with my magic by accident. Thought you might want to take a peek at that."

"What? Elaborate." Twilight asked.

"Well, before I get into any of the nitty gritty, do you know that my race created your universe?" Jason asked Twilight, just to make sure she is on the same wavelength."

"Yes, Dashie told me about this "Faust" person while you were gone. Seems like Celestia isn't the most powerful being in the universe, after all. Regardless, just because Equestria is a human invention doesn't mean that you have the right to alter realities as you see fit! Obviously you must know about equivalent exchange. Dashie didn't get an equivalent exchange when you brought her here. You could have destroyed Equestria! Is that what you wanted?" Twilight said, lividly.

"Oh shit! I don't know about equivalent exchanges. I am just 12! I bought this thing on the internet to try and make a friend! I am so sorry. Are you going to wipe my memory or something?" Jason asked, terrified.

"Wipe your memory? No! Why would I do that? You wanted to experience the magic of friendship. That is a noble cause!"

"I said the same thing!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Truth be told, these "humans" are rather interesting, especially Jason's sister. She looks no older than Scootaloo!"

Twilight looked at the little girl who was staring in awe at both ponies, unsure of whether to hug them or run away in fear.

"Hello there, little one. I mean no harm, honestly. I just came here to ask your brother some important questions."

Sophie just sat there in awe, but still jealous of her big brother: "Can you teach me magic? I mean, my brother is basically a superhuman now, since his "quantum tunnel" gave him the ability to fly. It's not fair that I can't do anything cool!"

Twilight laughed: "The only reason your brother can do any of this is by accident. The quantum tunnel malfunctioned slightly, imbuing a part of Dashie's magic into him. Even Celestia wouldn't be able to reverse this. From what I understand about this planet, magic doesn't exist anymore, so you are out of luck. I am sorry."

Sophie began to cry. She was upset that she couldn't do anything cool. Her brother stole the show with his karate moves and now his flying. "I just want to be cool like you, Jason, that's all." She said, running into his arms for comfort.

Twilight and Dashie felt bad for Sophie, but were unsure about what to do to remedy the situation.

Rainbow Dash had an idea: "If the quantum tunnel works both ways, and magic doesn't exist on this planet anymore, what if we go BACK to Equestria, where magic does exist, and teach it to her? I mean, that is only fair, right?"

Sophie's eyes lit up. "Jason, would you really go to another universe, just for me?" She asked. Jason actually didn't know what to do anymore. Does time work differently on Equestria? If he doesn't bring the quantum console with him, how could he come back?

"Random question, Twilight. Obviously, you know a lot about science. Can you make a return pad or something for the quantum tunnel? It doesn't seem to have one, and my parents would lose their minds if their two children went missing."

"Well, where is the console? I need to see it first!" She replied. Jason quickly ran to his bedroom and grabbed the console. He put it on the floor, and showed it to Twilight. She closed her eyes, and used some magic to modify the device. It now had a remote control attached to it, set to the frequency of Earth in this universe, for easy access to return.

"There you go! All fixed. Honestly, it wasn't that hard." Twilight said, proud of her accomplishment. The lack of science in Equestria is easily compensated for by the use of magic. Frankly, I don't know if ponies know what quantum mechanics are, but magic probably answers that question for them.

Jason had a crazy idea. "If humanity created your universe, does that mean we can alter it as we wish, since we were the sapient race creating it?"

Twilight gasped: "what the hay are you talking about? What would anyone want to modify?" She asked, shocked that Jason would think of something like that to ask her.

"Well, I wanted to do you a favor, since you modified the quantum device. One minute, please!" Jason said as he ran to his room and got a notepad and a pen.

Jason wondered if he could modify traits of ponies, since humans created them.

"I was going to give you a powerup, actually, that's pretty much it."

Twilight was confused: "A powerup, what do you mean by that?"

Jason smirked, he wrote "Twilight Sparkle is now an alicorn, with all the powers and abilities that pertain to this rank" into his journal.

"What did you do, Jason?" Sophie asked, a bit curious about what he wrote, since her reading was only okay. She is 5, after all.

"Give it a minute to adjust for quantum flux."

A minute passed, and Twilight began to glow bright purple. She turned into an alicorn!

"What….why did you do this?" Twilight asked, grateful that Jason did this, but puzzled as to why.

"Well, you made my sister happy by coming up with a compromise, so I had to do something in return. I love my sister to bits, and I want her to be happy!"

"That...was the sweetest thing I have heard in a long time!" Rainbow Dash said, almost in tears.

"Sophie, just so you know, since I just proved my hypothesis about sapient races having control over universal traits, that doesn't mean I can write "Jason will become a god and live forever". Only the race that created each universe could do that, so whoever made ours can modify it as they please. No one on Earth knows about this, and I don't plan on sharing it, since it can be used for nefarious purposes. I will not use this ability again. I just wanted to say thank you."

"A wise decision, Jason." Twilight said. "Now, plug in the coordinates for Equestria so we can go home. You can come and visit whenever you like, but be sure never to share this device with anyone, except maybe your parents."

Jason did as he was told:

"UNIVERSE SET: EQUESTRIA: TRAVEL OR RETRIEVE?"

He typed in "travel" and then pushed the enter key.

TRAVEL SET: PORTAL WILL OPEN IN 60 SECONDS. TRAVEL SAFELY"

"Guess we have to wait 60 seconds to use this machine, then." Twilight said. After 60 seconds, the four electrodes lit up, and the portal opened.

"Goodbye, Jason and Sophie!" Dashie said, flying through the portal, with Twilight flying behind her for the first time. The portal closed behind them.

"Holy guacamole! I rewrote the laws of another universe with nothing but a pen and paper. I can't handle this power. Sophie, whatever you do, DO NOT try what I just did. People could die."

"Yeah yeah, I am not an idiot. When are you going to let me visit Equestria?" Sophie asked, eager to try the device for herself.

"Maybe when mom and dad get home. I have to do some explaining, first. Until then, the console will be locked up in my room. Okay?" Jason said sternly.

"Okay, but you DID promise I can learn magic, so we are going to use this again, right?" She said eagerly.

Jason nodded his head. "Yeah, we will. Promise! In the meantime, I think we should watch a movie or something. Mom and Dad will be home in an hour." Jason said, as he checked the clock: 11:00 AM

"Can I pick the movie?" Sophie asked, as she went through the DVD library looking for a movie to watch.

"Ooh! I have a better idea!" She said as she picked a DVD of "Friendship is Magic, the Complete First Season."

Jason laughed: "Clever girl! If you ARE going to learn there, best to brush up on some lore, first." He put the DVD in, and sat on the sofa with his sister.

"Don't go flying in public, you could scare people!" Sophie said.

"No promises!" Jason said sarcastically.

PONYVILLE: EVENING

A portal opens behind Twilight and Rainbow Dash, and the both exit, and the portal closes.

"HOLY CELESTIA! TWILIGHT IS AN ALICORN NOW!" Pinkie Pie said as she was the first pony to notice their return. She immediately threw a party, bending the universe to her will to manifest the food, music, and amenities.

Soon, everypony in town noticed the change, and all congratulated her.

"What, nopony cares that I am back from another universe?" Dashie said, annoyed she was forgotten for a moment.

The festivities continued throughout the evening, and were full of merrymaking and fun for all.

Later that night, Twilight went back to the library where she lives and crashed onto her mattress.

"Ugh, I can only hope that these "humans" use this godlike power responsibly.

NEW YORK CITY: 12PM

(Time flows differently in each universe)

The doorbell rang, and Sophie went quickly to answer it. It was her parents. "Hi Mom and Dad! How was the business trip to Tokyo?" Jason asked, intrigued at his parents profession.

"It was fine, except I saw on the news that a 12 year old boy was flying in the streets of Manhattan, and was followed by a helicopter. It was you. What kind of drugs are you on, Jason!!!" His mother said quite lividly.

"Ah shit, I have some explaining to do now." Jason said. It was going to be a long afternoon.
