This was too good to be true. Princess Celestia herself gave Dashie permission to live on Earth as an ambassador, and be Jason's friend all at the same time? The thoughts through Jason's head must be racing like crazy.

"Holy shit. Why is Dashie a human now. Why is she living in my house? This is going too fast, too quickly." Jason said to himself. Sophie, on the other hand, was elated to have Rainbow Dash herself stay at her house, but was annoyed that she couldn't go flying anymore.

"Random question, Dashie. Are you still able to fly? I want to go flying again!" Sophie exclaimed, eager to touch the clouds.

"Probably, but it might be more limited than before." Rainbow said as she tried activating her Element. It glowed, and she levitated a few feet in the air, but she didn't turn back into her true form.

"Aww, this sucks. I can't go flying with you anymore…" Sophie said, pouting. She loved to go flying again, but you can't exactly go riding on a 12 year old girl…

"Well, I had a crazy idea. What if Celestia coming over to your house caused another quantum event, giving you superpowers like your brother? You wanted to learn magic, right? Try turning that apple on the floor from earlier into something else, it could work?" Dashie said, trying to make Sophie feel better.

Jason thought about this for a moment, and realized that if anyone could cause another quantum event, let alone deliberately, it would be Celestia.

"Yeah, I mean mom and dad won't eat these magic apples, you could turn them into a pear or an orange; if it works." Jason replied to Dashie's idea.

Jason's mother was furious. Not only were her children messing with abilities beyond her control, but some horse god from another universe sent this horse disguised as a human girl to live in her house.

"Now you're both telling me that my sweet Sophie could be a monster, too? I give up. I can't punish you, you outsmarted me. I am SO mad that I could-"

Before Ms. Cooper could finish her sentence, Sophie tried using magic to turn one of the apples into a bouquet of roses; which happens to be her mother's favourite kind of flower. Some energy actually is emitted from her hands, and, slowly but surely, the apple turns into a bouquet of roses.

"Holy shit! My sister is a wizard." Jason thought to himself.

Dashie stood there in awe, amazed at the five year old's prodigal ability to use magic.

"I am not a unicorn or anything, but I could have sworn that Sophie was using Alicorn magic. That means Celestia felt bad for you, and gave you superpowers!" Dashie told Sophie, who was amazed that she just turned an apple into a bouquet of white roses. She picked them up, and handed them to her mother.

"Look, I am sorry Jason and I broke the fabric of reality, but we just wanted to make friends. These roses are our apology to you. I hope you like them!" Sophie said, smiling. Ms. Cooper was amazed, and also horrified, that her daughter could turn an apple into flowers, and that it actually worked.

"Ummm...thank you Sophie." She said, accepting the flowers, but horrified that they existed. Both Ms. Cooper and her husband quickly left the house and drove off, presumably to get some fresh air.

"Well, that was odd." Dashie said, scratching her head with her new, human arms.

"Anyways, Jason. What is this karate thing? It sounds cool. Can you show me how it works?" Dashie asked, eager to learn this new skill.

"Well, it is a common misconception that karate is a martial art. It is actually a way of life. It involves both physical and mental training and discipline. There are many different styles of karate, but the one I was trained in is called goju-ryu karate. It emphasizes the balance of training for self-defense with "training the mind, or cultivating the precept karate-do ni sente nashi or 'there is no first strike in karate'", at least that is what Sensei Shoji told me when I started 9 years ago."

Dashie was shocked: "You are basically telling me that you have been doing this since you were three years old? That sounds a bit far-fetched to me!" She said, not believing what Jason just told her.

"It's true. He has been doing it basically his whole life. I am a witness." Sophie said, proud of her brother's gifted skill in karate.

"Well, show me something cool, then!" Dashie said, interested in Jason's abilities.

"Well, today I had my godan exam, where I had to practice the Tensho kata, like this." Jason said as he showed Dashie the Tensho kata. What was truly strange about this demonstration is that Rainbow Dash basically figured out how to mimic the kata perfectly.

"Holy crap. Did...did you just master a kata by watching me practice it?" Jason asked, shocked at what he just witnessed.

"Uh, yeah. It looks really easy, actually."

"Random question, Jason. What are the odds that the quantum tangling you had with Dashie worked both ways? You got her ability to fly, and she got your karate skills?" Sophie asked, a bit puzzled at the situation.

"Wait, if what you are saying is correct, that means that Dashie is basically a karate prodigy because of quantum entanglement?" Jason asked, a bit confused as well.

"Well that actually would make sense. I wonder how much further this could go? As you probably know from my show, Pegasi can control the weather. Maybe you could create lightning or something cool like that? Here, come with me. Sophie, maybe you could fly also, with telekinesis or something?" Dashie said, bolting out the window, with small wings sprouting out of her jean jacket, propelling her in the air.

"Ah damn it! You have to let me catch up!" Jason said, also flying out the window.

Sophie wondered if her new magic could let her fly.

"Wait one second!" Sophie exclaimed. "If Celestia gave me alicorn magic, that means I can fly, too!" Sophie tried jumping up in the air from the living room to join her brother and Dashie, but it didn't work.

"Sophie, it's about ki energy for humans. You have to imagine your body's energy propelling you in the air." Dashie said, repeating what Jason said during their first flight test.

Sophie tried again, imagining the energy around her pushing her a foot or two above the ground. She floated steadily a good meter off the ground.

"Holy cow! I can fly. Celestia is awesome!" Sophie said as she slowly exited the window to join her two companions.

"So, why exactly do you want to go flying again?" Jason asked, a bit confused.

"Well, if the quantum entanglement worked as we just hypothesized, then that means we are both evenly matched in martial arts, and I would want to fight you. As for Sophie over here. Alicorn magic is REALLY powerful, but we don't know anyone who could help her harness it. At least she can practice flying while we fight!" Dashie said, eager to test her new skills.

The three of them flew at a moderate pace to the Long Island Sound, where the three of them had done previous antics.

"So, show me what you got, then!" Jason said, preparing a fighting stance. It is a bit weird to be doing this in the air, but if they can do it in "Dragon Ball Z"...

Dashie lunged forward with the Saifa kata that Jason used before during his exam, and Jason was quite impressed.

"Damn! You went straight for the good stuff!" Jason said as he quickly moved out of the way and used the Tensho kata to destabilize her movement in the air, sending her plummeting towards the ocean.

"Goddammit! You are good. New plan. Use pegasus power to win!" Dashie said to herself, as the clouds above the three of them began to darken, and thunder sounded.

"Uh, what are you doing, Dashie?" Jason asked, a bit confused, since the weather was sky blue just moments ago.

"Simple. I have a competitive streak. I am going to win." Dashie said, with sparks of electricity emitting from her fingers, while also making her rainbow hair a bit staticy.

"Oh shit. She is using weather powers. No fair!" Jason said. He had never used this kind of ability before.

"Take this, kid!" Dashie said, sending bolts of lightning directly at him, while making sure that Sophie was far enough away that she wouldn't get hurt.

How was Jason going to dodge something like this? Even superhuman reflexes can't evade lightning!

And then, it hit him: "If Dashie and I have the same abilities from the quantum event, then I could deflect this!" Jason said as the lightning struck Jason point blank. He embraced the lightning, and tried to absorb the energy.

"Huh, I didn't even know I could do that…" Dashie said, quite amazed that Jason took the lightning point blank.

"I….need….to...redirect...it.." Jason said, knowing he wasn't strong enough to send it back to her. His body was being fried from the inside out. Jason tried pointing his right index finger towards the sky. It was much harder than he thought it would be, but the lightning left his body, and shot up toward the heavens,

"Damn it. Don't use lightning powers again, Dashie. It...nearly...killed me." Jason said, exhausted. Even doing Jiyu Kumite with Sensei Shoji on a good day didn't make him this tired.

"Okay, okay. No lightning powers this time." Dashie said, as she tried using more basic kata to attack him.

"Okay, I've seen enough!" Sophie said, using her magic to teleport the three of us back to our apartment.

"What...how did you...nevermind" Jason said, realizing that his sister probably did this. Jason was actually a bit scared. If he remembered correctly, alicorns have the ability to manipulate celestial bodies, such as the sun and the moon. What would happen if Sophie didn't get her way? Would she cause a supernova or a tidal cataclysm? The thought of it alone sent shivers down Jason's spine.

"Well well well… looks like y'all have been busy 'round here. Dashie, what in tarnation are you up to?" Said a voice with a distinct southern drawl.

Applejack made her way into our apartment, presumably through a portal that Twilight made, and came to "check" on her friend.

"So if I got this right, some race of 'sapient creatures' created Equestria for their own amusement, and a pair of children manipulated the multiverse to make a friend? That sounds quite problematic, in my humble opinion." Said Applejack, who for some reason did not get the same human makeover as Dashie.

"AJ, who sent you to this universe? Celestia told me I am on a covert mission for ambassadorship. Why are you babysitting?" Rainbow Dash said, pissed that her friend came to check on her.

"Actually, sugarcube, I ain't here for you. I came for the humans." AJ replied, eyeing the two Cooper children very closely.

"Some sorta quantum whatever gave the two of you superpowers, and that could be dangerous for anyone on this planet. A little bit of honest work oughta straighten the two of you cityfolk out." AJ said with a smirk. She took her hat off, and pushed a tiny button on it, before replacing it on her head.

"Twilight gave me permission to take you two humans back to Equestria for some training. Time apparently works differently there, so odds are your parents won't care if you're gone, and some 15 minutes will pass on Earth. I don't know the exact numbers and stuff, you should ask her." AJ said as a portal opened behind her.

"As for you, sugarcube, we have to talk about the "quantum tangling", it could endanger you and that human boy's life." She said solemnly.

Wait, what? Endanger our lives? Jason didn't have any time to think, since Applejack bucked him and his sister through the portal, sending them spiraling through time and space. Everything went black.

After an unknown period of time, Jason and Sophie woke up in a barn, presumably at Sweet Apple Acres

"Glad to see you two are awake. Honestly, I passed out too the first time that portal thingy worked. Anyways, y'all are going to do some housecleanin' for me, without any of your weird quantum powers. You are going to work Earth Pony style, although having opposable thumbs might be a bonus for y'all."

Well, this sucks. Maybe Jason should have paid more attention to the full ramifications of using a multiversal device before activating it. He wanted to make a friend, and now he's quantumly tangled with Rainbow Dash, and they both might die.

"Some way to spend a summer." Jason said to himself.
