In honor of Teen Titans 18th birthday, I decided to post this a day earlier.

This was one of the suggestions from this story section. So Eris, this is for you :)

Hope you all enjoy! Let me know what you think of if you have any suggestions for a future chapter!

"Dude, you actually made it?!" Beast Boy asked, excitedly when Cyborg pulled him into the training room to "help him with something."

That was the excuse he said in front of the others. The real reason was because he made something, something that Beast Boy had been bothering him about for a while.

"I only made the chest plate but yeah." He grinned, holding up the finished part of the invincibility suit that Beast Boy had been begging him to make.

"Can I try it on?" Beast Boy bounced in place excitedly.

"Sure man." Cyborg said, walking towards Beast Boy. "It's like putting on the sparring gear, it ties in the back."

Beast Boy put his arms out to his sides as Cyborg draped it across his chest and placed the shoulder straps over his head, almost like how you would put on a necklace.

Once the plate was put in the right position, Cyborg started tying the back.

Just like the sparring gear as well, this prototype had the same way of tying it together.

The straps started on the back of the neck piece. Along either side of the back, there were holes which the straps were threaded through and then tied at the bottom, like a corset.

Raven had once said how she felt like Merida from the movie "Brave" when she was getting her corset tightened for her betrothal whenever someone tightened her gear. So now whenever they tighten it, somehow they felt like princesses, except these princesses were going to be beating the crap out of each other.

Seeing that the padding was still too loose, Cyborg instructed Beast Boy to start to walk forward.

This was also something they did to tighten the gear. When they couldn't get more leverage to tighten the back, the person wearing the gear would start to walk while the one tying it would hold the straps, push them forward with one of their feet as they pulled back on the straps, effectively tightening the chest piece.

Beast Boy started walking and was pulled back suddenly with a yelp, definitely feeling the chest plate tighten.

"Yep, that's good." He squeaked out.

"Just making sure." Cyborg said, tying the straps together in a bow.

"So," Beast Boy turned around excitedly, stars in his eyes. "How do we test it?"

"Uh, I guess just throw stuff at you?" Cyborg thought out loud, not really thinking it all the way through yet.

"Dude, Idea! How about you shoot me with your sonic cannon. On the lowest setting to start?"

Cyborg thought for a good second. They could all take a shot of the lowest level of his cannon, so if the suit didn't work then it wouldn't be that much of a big deal. "Alright," he decided, "Stand back."

Beast Boy practically ran over to the other side of the room, a good distance away so there was some distance between the two, raising his arms up to his sides, essentially t posing.

Cyborg raised his arm, reading his cannon to shoot when-

"What are you dumbasses doing?"

Cyborg quickly turned around in shock to see Raven and Starfire standing in the door. Starfire was floating and looked around in confusion as to what was going on and what Beast Boy was wearing while Raven looked at them expectantly for an explanation.

"We uh," Cyborg stuttered, looking for some sort of explanation.

"He made an invincibility suit!" Beast Boy shouted from across the room. "Isn't that cool?!"

Raven turned her gaze back to Cyborg. "Does Robin know about," she waved her hand between the two, "this."

"Uh," Cyborg sweat dropped, "no?"

"No?"

"Yeah, no. Are you going to tell him?"

Raven shrugged. "It's really none of my business to tell him. I guess that all depends on how well or how badly this goes."

Cyborg nodded in understanding. He knew she wouldn't snitch. But if things go south and Beast Boy ends up getting hurt, then she would tell Robin what happened. They just needed to make sure they were being careful.

"What is the purpose of this suit?" Starfire asked, floating over to Beast Boy and poking the shoulder straps.

"It's so you can get beat up real bad but you won't get hurt." Beast Boy explained, suddenly getting an idea. "Hey, you all should hit me with this! That way we get the ultimate test of invincibility."

"Uh, I don't know." Raven started, uncertain. "Isn't that not the best id-

"Let's do it!" Cyborg crouched down, determined.

Raven looked at him and blinked in shock.

"What?" He said, turning to look at her. "He's got a point. It would really test the limits of the suit. And you get a chance to hit Beast Boy." He added with a grin.

Still uncertain but liking the excuse to hit Beast Boy, Raven nodded and gave a little grin of her own.

"Alright!" Cyborg declared. "Let's do this! Who wants to go first?"

"Oh, I wish to try!" Starfire said, raising her hand. "What do I do?"

"You just come over here and hit him with a star bolt." Cyborg instructed.

Starfire flew over and stood next to Cyborg and Raven, readying her hands.

Raven and Cyborg took a step back to give her some distance and she shot a green bolt of light right at his chest.

Beast Boy fell back and landed flat on his back with an oof, legs and arms sprawled out.

"Oh no!" Starfire brought her hands to her mouth and flew over to him laying on the ground, Cyborg and Raven coming up behind her.

"B, are you ok?" Cyborg shouted as he ran over.

Surprising them all, Beast Boy sat up with a huge grin on his face and held two thumbs up. "It works!" He declared.

They all heaved a sigh of relief.

"It was like I felt the impact of it and it knocked me down, but I didn't get hurt." He explained with wild hand motions.

"So I guess you should ground yourself more next time." Raven suggested.

Beast Boy shrugged. He was used to getting knocked around a bit, so he really didn't care too much. "Maybe." He went to stand up, but the weight of the suit made him stay sitting up.

They all watched in amusement as he threw his arms out in front of him to try to help him get up, but just made him look like he was reaching intently towards something.

"A bit too heavy there huh?" Cyborg snickered.

"Yeah yeah. Laugh it up. Could someone help me?"

Starfire was the one who took pity on him while Raven and Cyborg just watched in amusement as he tried to get up.

"Ok," he declared as he finally got to his feet and found his balance, "who's next?"

Cyborg and Raven looked at eachother, seeing who wanted to go next.

Cyborg shrugged. "I guess I'll go."

Raven nodded, good with that decision.

"Alright, remember, ground yourself B!" He called over when he got in his spot and charged up his cannon.

"Roger!" Beast Boy shouted back as he bent his knees a tad, bracing himself.

"You ready?"

"Do it!"

Making sure the cannon was on the lowest setting once more, he raised his arm and fired at him.

Impacted square on the chest, Beast Boy stumbled back a bit and flailed his arms around, regaining his balance and bringing up his arms above his head like a gymnast who finished their routine.

"Oh yeah man!" Cyborg ran over to high five him. "How'd that feel?"

"Just kinda like I got pushed." Beast Boy touched his chest. "I could still feel the sonic stuff. Like the shockwaves in my arms and legs, but it was just a bit tingly."

"Does it knock the wind out or your body?" Starfire asked, knowing when you get hit hard enough or fall in the right way that you can get the breath knocked out of you.

"Not really. A bit when I fell earlier, but so far nothing on impact."

"Well," Cyborg said, walking back to his spot where Raven waited, "you got one more. You ready?"

"Hell yeah!" He shouted, crouching again as he readied himself.

"Nothing too hard." Cyborg reminded Raven when she raised her hands, Starfire coming up behind them.

"I know." Raven assured, collecting herself enough to just give out a little bit of power. As she gathered herself and felt her hands cover with her power, all concentration was lost when an ungodly sneeze was let out behind her, causing her to let go of her powers and an unconcentrated ball of black energy was headed right for Beast Boy. It hit him right on his right hip and sent him falling down to the ground. Hard.

They stood there in shock for a good three seconds before Raven and Cyborg heard a sniff and a polite "excuse me" from behind them.

They slowly turned around to look at Starfire. She looked between the two, not understanding why they were looking at her in such a way.

"I said excuse me." She said, "Is that not what you are supposed to say when one sneezes?"

Raven and Cyborg looked at eachother confused, then looked back at her.

"That was a sneeze?" Cyborg asked.

Starfire nodded. "It is the season of allergies. The pollen makes my nose itch very much."

They were stopped in their conversation when they heard a groan coming from behind them when they remembered Beast Boy.

"Oh my goodness, friend Beast Boy!" Starfire sailed across the room and knelt by her fallen friend who was on the floor in pain.

"Are you ok?" Came Cyborg.

"I am so sorry!" Raven said, coming and kneeling beside Starfire. "Where did I hit you?"

"Ugh," Beast Boy groaned, "my hip."

Cyborg turned to look at Raven. "Do you think you can heal him?"

Raven shook her head in despair. "No, I haven't meditated enough today to be able to do that."

"Then I guess let's go to the med lab." Cyborg said standing up. "Think you can walk?"

Beast Boy just laid there and shook his head, trying his best not to cry.

"It is ok, Beast Boy. You are allowed to cry. We will not make the fun of you." Starfire assured, putting a hand on his shoulder, the other two nodding in agreement.

With their promise, Beast Boy allowed himself to cry, the pain in his hip too much right now.

Feeling horrible with herself, Raven felt obligated to help him. "Star, can you sit him up for me?"

Starfire nodded, putting her hands under Beast Boy's shaking arms and pulling him up to a sitting position.

Getting behind him, Raven started to untie the suit. Noticing that it was the same design as their sparring gear earlier, she was quick to get it off which helped alleviate a bit of his pain and set it to the side.

Letting him sit there for a bit and supporting his back, Raven let him know she was going to stand up with him so they could all get to the med lab.

With a courageous sniff, Beast Boy nodded and braced himself for the pain that came when Raven slowly stood them up, her supporting his right side.

They all stood there for another minute to let him get used to standing up before they walked away.

"Should we alert Robin?" Starfire asked, concerned.

"No!" The three of them said at once.

A bit taken aback, she brought her hands up to her chest.

"Not yet." Raven said as they reached the door. "He can't know yet."

"Yeah." Cyborg agreed. "I didn't even tell him I was making this yet. If it's something serious, then we'll tell him. But right now, this doesn't leave the four of us."

Still feeling the need to tell Robin, Starfire nodded in understanding. Telling him might put them all in jeopardy of another lecture. She was not looking forward to another one. None of them were.

Opening the door a tad, Cyborg stuck his head out and looked both ways. Nodding her stuck his head back in. "All clear." He affirmed.

The others nodded and walked as quickly and as quietly as they could.

Just as they rounded the corner, there walked the last person they needed to see.

"Shit!" Cyborg quietly whispered. "Go back, go back."

Seeing Robin not paying attention as he walked down the hall, they hurried back to the training room and closed the door quietly, praying that he didn't see or hear them.

Holding their breath, they ducked down against the door, watching his shadow walk across the hallway.

Beast Boy sniffed as he tried to hold back his tears and they all panicked. Raven slapped her hand over his mouth as Robin's shadow stopped and listened.

Finally, after a few seconds which felt like hours to them, he left.

When they were sure he was a good bit away, they all heaved a sigh of relief and slouched down.

"Ok, new plan." Cyborg said, dragging his hands down his face, totally stressed.

Raven removed her hand from Beast Boy's mouth and wiped it on her cloak, drying her hand from all his tears. She felt awful.

"If we get out of this without getting caught," she started, gaining his attention, "I'll do your patrols for a month."

Beast Boy smiled in pain. It wasn't often that Raven made deals or bribed anyone. But these were different circumstances, and he would gladly not have to do dishes for a month. "Sounds good." He squeaked out

"Oh, what are we going to do?" Starfire sighed, not liking sneaking around in the first place but also having to hide a hurt friend.

"Ok, here's what we're going to do." Cyborg declared.

They all looked at him in varying amounts of worry, pain, anxiety, and nervousness.

"Raven, do you know where Robin is right now?"

"I can check." She nodded. Using her empathy, she searched the tower for their pointy headed leader. It didn't take too long to find him since he wasn't too far from them. "He's in his office."

"Do you know what he's doing?" Cyborg asked. Any information would be greatly helpful for them.

Raven shook her head. "There's no way I can tell."

Cyborg nodded, planning it out in his head. His office was on the same floor as the training room and the medical room. So if they were going to go, they needed to go now. There's no telling how long he'd be in there for.

"Alright. What we're going to do is high tail it over to the med lab and pray that he doesn't hear us or come out of his office. Sound good?"

He looked around to all the nodding heads.

"Great. You ready to move again B?"

Beast Boy took a deep breath in and nodded, readying himself for when Raven supported him and stood up.

"We only have one chance to make this work." Cyborg said as he opened the door. "Are y'all ready."

He got a group of head nods again, faces determined. If anything it was great stealth practice. In a way, they were having fun. Even Beast Boy who was in massive amounts of pain.

"Ok, ready, go!"

They raced down the hall as quickly and as quietly as they could.

Starfire reached the med lab first as she zoomed ahead of everyone with her flight. Cyborg was next and hunched over taking big breaths as Raven and Beast Boy hobbled about a third of the way from them.

"Come on!" Cyborg whisper yelled. "You're almost there!"

Hearing some rusteling in Robin's office, Raven started to panic and walked as fast as she could with Beast Boy, making it to the med lab just as Robins door opened adn he walked out.

Thinking he heard something, he looked to the left where the medical lab was. He could have sworn he saw a flash of dark blue but shrugged it off, making his way to his room.

Closing the door behind Raven and Beast Boy, Cyborg sighed in relif. "Thank god! That was too close."

Raven made her way over to one of the beds and deposited Beast Boy on it while laying down on the floor, completly exhausted as she tried to catch her breath.

"How about in turn I do your dishes while you do my patrols?" Beast Boy asked, feeling bad.

Raven gave a thumbs up and layed her arm back on the floor.

"Alright," Cybrog started, getting some of the medical tools ready for an examination, "Raven, do you know what you hit him with?"

"Just some energy." She said, breath evening out as her back stretched on the floor.

Cyborg nodded in affirmation.

"You said it was your right hip B?" He asked, going to Beast Boy's right side.

"Yeah, right here." Beast Boy said, holding a hand over the general area of where he hurt.

Cyborg nodded and began his screening.

A few tence minutes of testing later, he cleared Beast Boy.

"Ok, so nothing broken or torn which is good, it just looks like you were hit hard. Can I look to check for bruising?"

Beast Boy nodded and allowed Cyborg to pull his pants on his right side down to reveal his hip, showing a huge bruise where he was hit.

"I am so-" Raven started, standing up and walking to him but was interrupted as the doors opened, revealing a confused Robin.

"There you guys are. I was looking for you all and, what happened?" He said, realizing that Beast Boy was in a medical bed and noticing the huge bruise along his hip.

"Uh," Cyborg looked around the room, seeing what anyone was going to say.

Raven sighed and went to tell him what happened before Beast Boy beat her to it.

"I fell and hit my hip pretty hard."

Robin raised his eyebrow and looked around the room. They all nodded fastly in agreement. He watched all of them before turning his gaze to Starfire. If they were lying, she would definitely tell him.

"That is correct." She nodded. "He fell quite hard."

It technically wasn't a lie. He did fall, and hard at that. But they just prayed that he wouldn't find out the truth. Because if her did, then they would be in more trouble for lying than for telling the truth

Keeping his eyes on her to see if she would crack, he nodded and turned back to Beast Boy. "Are you ok?" He asked, now concerned.

"Eh." Beast Boy shrugged. "It really hurts but I'll live. It's just a big bruise."

After a few more minutes of talking and Robin clearing Beast Boy of having to go on any missions or training for a day, he left.

"Oh my god, that was so close." Raven sighed, bringing a hand to her heart.

"I also did not enjoy that either." Starfire agreed, sitting down in one of the chairs.

"Whew," Cyborg wiped his forehead and sighed. "We just barely made it out of that one huh."

After they all recovered from their anxiety spell, they all went on with the rest of their day. Cyborg made sure he hid the invincibility suit and any evidence of what they did in the training room.

A few days later, Robin started to notice something. Beast Boy was doing the dishes. More oddly enough, it was Raven's week to do them. Deciding not to mention it, he almost forgot about it until Raven joined him on patrol on Beast Boy's night. Now that he noticed.

"So," Robin started, breaching the subject as they walked through the town as they finished up patrol. "I noticed that Beast Boy was doing your dishes the other day, and here you are during his patrol night."

Raven visibly stiffened. She'd been caught. They were done for.

Seeing her reaction he remembered something else. "Does this have anything to do with that bruise he got last week?"

"Yeah, the truth is," she sighed, ready to come clean. But then, she got an idea. "We did a bet to see who could complete the new obstacle course faster. You know the new one? The jungle gym one?"

Robin nodded, interested to see where this was going.

"Well we bet that if I won, that he'd have to do my dishes for a month and if he won, then I'd do his patrons for a month."

"So how'd you both end up doing them then?"

"He uh, fell off of one of the bars and got hurt. I didn't run it yet so we both decided to just do the bets anyway. Seemed fair, you know?"

Raven waited while Robin thought over what she just bullshitted. "Yeah, that seems fair." Robin agreed after an agonizing few seconds. "I always wondered what happened that day. Thank you for telling me."

"Yeah," Raven said, feeling slightly guilty, "of course.

Seeing her change in demeanor, Robin frowned and then spotted a store that was still open.

"Hey, do you want to get some ice cream?"

Spotting the store as well, Raven agreed.

Hey, she might have lied to him, mostly, but at least she got some ice cream out of it. She'd tell him what happened. At some point. Just not right now.
