Leaving You Breathless

Kai didn't remember being here with her. He didn't even registered every single word that came out of her mouth. With those soft lips moving, he couldn't help but be distracted by them.

But, it looks like his gazing would be interrupted by her girlfriend snapping her fingers in front of his face.

"Kai, were you listening?" asked Jinora with a glare directed at him and he resisted the urge to kiss the crease on her forehead.

She really is cute when she's mad, that crease that always formed on her forehead for furrowing her eyebrows to much in the middle is hella adorable.

A goofy smile appeared on the almost fifteen years old boy, "Listening no, but staring at your soft lips and beautiful face–" He sighed, "yes."

A small blush appeared on the master airbender's face and it grew bigger until it illuminated her cheeks. It was really a cute sight to behold to and Kai felt blessed. He was lucky to have her and he can't imagine any other people to fall in love with except for her.

With a smile on his face, he scooted closer to her and pulled out the book she was reading from her hands. "I'm disappointed that after a long time of being away. The first thing you do is read." He teased her and let out a chuckle when her flustered face from before turned into irritation.

"Sorry for being boring." She huffed, her cheeks puffing out and Kai really wanted to them...heck, he wants to kiss all of her.

In response, he let out a hum and placed the girl on his lap. Then, he wrapped his arms around her and placed his face on the crook of her neck. He inhaled and he couldn't help but let out a satisfied sigh.

She smells like ozone, like a burning wire, like chlorine or much better to described as a "clean" smell. Sweet and pungent. With just a touch of the scent of old papers in the library.

Then, he heard her sigh and his name.

"Kai..."

A smile dawned on his lips once again and he lifted up his face. "Yes?" He replied with a chuckle and once again, she pouted at him.

Jinora begins to tugged on his sleeves and one day the cuteness of her would kill him. Letting out a chuckle, he decided to speak–"I don't know what you want unless you tell me." He told her with a smug grin on his face.

The girl in his arms turned more red and she averted her gaze away from him. Kai felt another arrow pierced his heart at the display of adorableness.

Then, he heard her whisper. "I want you to hug me tighter." She said and the smug grin on his face turned soft.

Smiling softly, he took her hand in his and held them up. Then, he placed his rough dry lips on top of it.

"Of course. Anything for you, m'lady."

Doing what he was told to, he pulled his girl closer to his body. He wonders if she can feel the steady heartbeat beating in his chest. Then, he glanced down to see her face.

It was peaceful, serene maybe? He's afraid to break such a tranquil look. Seeing her face like this also calms the storm raging in him down.

Despite changing, he still has the habit to steal things. Sometimes, he didn't know that he already had someone's item already in his hand.

He let out a sigh, as he let himself fell under her spell.

Such a beautiful and intelligent girl. He always wonder how she fell in love with a no good street rat like him.

She's too good for him, but he would try his best to be the one for her too.

Closing his eyes halfway, he leaned down and captured her soft lips in his lips. He saw her eyes widened, but eventually close them when he pulled her in more.

He really wants her to hold him up and tie him down. 'Cause he doesn't want to leave her side.

His lips curled up when her arms wrapped themselves around his neck.

He swear to never let her down.

Humming, he softly nipped down on her lower lips and a gasp escaped from her mouth. A frown appeared on his face, seeing that he was to fast, so to say sorry, he placed a soft peck on the place where he bit.

Jinora stared at him with a confuse expression and Kai felt embarrassed. Was he being to fast? Bolin said that kissing like that gives pleasure to a girl and he wanted to make her feel good.

Well, this is the first time he would be initiating a intimate kiss.

He let out an irritated groan. His plan was to bit softly on her lips and asked permission, but her gasp had distracted him.

It was really cute.

He didn't know that taking up their relationship is kinda nerve wracking. Where did his confidence from before go? Maybe, long forgotten when he heard her cute gasp and expression.

Just as he was about to look away, he felt her soft hands grabbing his face and to his surprise. She pulled him down for a kiss. He was shock to move and he realized that her lips were pursed in a thin line. Does she want something?

An amused chuckle escaped his lips when she tightly closed her eyes. She's trying hard, for what reason though.

As if, hearing his thought, she pulled back with a nervous look on her face.

"Aren't you going to continue?" She asked and Kai quirked up an eyebrow.

"Continue what?" At his question, he received a soft punch on his chest from the girl in his arms.

"You kno-know the-the thing yo-u we-were doing before." She stuttered and buried her face on his chest.

Oh gods, if she does that again his heart might suffer from a heart attack.

Letting out a hum, he gave her a nod. "Okay." He said, lifting up her face and placing his lips on hers.

It started as a simple kiss that grew a little bit passionate, as he licked her upper lip to ask for entrance. Shyly at first, she granted him that and he let himself explore.

When he pulled away, he felt at awe when he laid eyes on her red face. She was blushing hard and he couldn't help but do the thing he is about to do.

He pulled her hair back a little bit and spotted a place where her neck is bare. Then, with a smile as he glanced at his girl. He kissed that spot. His ears picked up the sound of her gasping and then he heard it. His name.

"Kai..." She sighed in a breathless way and he pulled back to look at her red face. Then, once again he kissed her, but this time this kiss was a gentle one.

A kiss that says, "Thank you".

Chuckling, he smiled down at her. "Looks like the sun is gonna go down soon–" Before he could continue, he felt his girlfriend's grip on him get tighter.

"Wait." She said with a huff and a puff, "I can't move my legs, Kai."

Hearing this, a chuckle escaped his lips. "Was the kiss to much?" He asked her and she nodded in response.

His eyes softened and with a hum, he carassed her back. "Maybe, we could stay here for a little bit longer." He said and a smile appeared on Jinora's lips.

Seeing this, he couldn't hold himself back and he placed a kiss on top of her head; then, on her forehead and finally her lips.

"I love you, Jinora." He whispered and her arms that were still wrapped around him, pulled him closer.

Jinora gently look at him first before saying with a smile, "I love you too, Kai."
