I mean we weren't dating yet, but when we had that moment at the top of bleachers and I started talking to her about my dad... I don't know... it's like I really felt like I was starting to build a real connection with her right there." Then Ramona said, "I know. I remember when Lola started opening up to me about her family. I mean she was one of the more popular girls at school, but I never heard her talk about her family with anyone else. So when she opened up to me, it made our relationship just feel all the more special. I miss those long talks we used to have." Jackson tilted his head down as he said, "I miss my long talks with her every day."

Jackson and Ramona sat silent for a moment. Then the two teenagers glanced at each other, as Jackson said, "Ramona... we should talk about what happened last night when we... you know..."
