Chapter 1: Stories and stones

Long long time ago. When little blinky lights in big darkness even more shiny. When Great Night Circle real smooth. Not pockety like now. Back then, there no Three-horn, or Longneck, not even Sharptooth. No. There only one type animal that fill sky with might screech and big flappy sound.

This most smart, most brave, most handsome creature to rule world.

The flyers.

"What!? Hold on a second!" Cera shouted, interupting Petrie's story. "That's not even close to the way it happened."

"Is too." Petrie protested.

"Says who?" Cera asked.

"My Uncle Pterano. That who. He tell me all about it when me just nestling." Petrie explained.

"Well he told you wrong." Cera said to him.

"I didn't know you had an uncle Petrie." Chomper said to him.

"Where is he?" Ruby asked.

"Well, he go away when we all babies."

"Go away? You mean sent away." Said Cera.

"What that supposed to mean?" Petrie asked.

"My father told me that the grown-ups kicked your uncle out of the herd."

"Wow. What did he do?" Littlefoot asked.

"He didn't tell me what. Only that it was really awful."

Petrie just gave her in angry look before flying to a fallen log next to Spike. Until, the ground began to shake. Revealing a herd of many dinosaurs, all Leaf-eater.

"Who are they?" Ducky asked.

"Far Walkers." Said Littlefoot. "Grandpa and Chomper's father said we're coming into the wandering times."

"Where are they wandering from?" Ducky asked again.

"Away from the cold lands. Looking for food." Said Chomper. "They're gonna rest here for a while and then be on their way."

"Yeah. With a belly full of our Tree-stars." Said Cera.

"That's nothing to worry about." Said Ruby. "Because we have plenty of food in the valley for everyone to not to worry about."

"Try telling my dad that." Said Cera. "You know how protective he is of me."

"We know." Said Chomper.

"Cera! Time for bed!" Topps called to her.

"See you later." She said as she walked away with Petrie following. "A world where Flyers were the first dinosaurs? Hump."

"Was true."

"Was false."

"Was true."

"Was false."

"Was true."

"Was false."

"Ducky! Spike!" Mama Swimmer called to them.

"Let us go home Spike." Ducky said as she and Spike walked away.

"Ruby!" Raph called to her.

"I'll see you in the morning. In the morning, I'll see you." Ruby said as she walked home.

"Littlefoot! Chomper!" Bowser called to them.

"Coming!" They said as they made their way to Littlefoot's nest.

That night at Littlefoot's nest, he and Chomper were seen resting in peace. Or at least Littlefoot was was. Until he ended up rolling onto a pointy seed.

"Ow!" He shouted as he got up and rubbed the bits of the seed off of him.

"Littlefoot?" Chomper asked as he woke up.

"I'm fine. I just rolled onto a pointy seed." He said to him.

Soddenly, a blue light and what sounded like cracking was seen and heard not too far from them. Turning to the sky, they were in for a surprise.

Flying by was what looked like a Flying-rock. Only it was blue and shined like The Bright Circle and was very low to the ground and it made the sound of fire in the trees as it flew past and over The Great Valley.

"Wow." They both exclaimed.

They continued to watch the rock as it flew to a smoking mountain that resembled a Three-horn before it landed and made a huge flash of light that shined over the mountain.

"Grandma. Grandpa."

"Father."

The grown-ups got up as Littefoot and Chomper ran to them.

"Did you see it?" Littlefoot asked.

"See what Littlefoot?" Grandpa asked.

"The way that thing flew across the sky." Said Chomper. "Wasn't it amazing?"

"Wasn't what amazing?" Bowser asked.

"Nither of you saw any of it?" Littlefoot asked.

"I'm afraid not." Said Grandma.

Disapointed, Littlefoot and Chomper went back to sleep.
