"Where you really going to try to beat me just a second ago?" Sasuke looked down upon her, Hinatas face scrunched up a little as she held his arm.
"I told you that Kakashi taught me a couple of basics, not to mention I am half Hyuuga. I think I could take you on." She replied as she gave a small laugh. Hinata looked at the sky and then back to her arm interlocked with Sasukes. Realizing that she yanked her arm away. She couldn't risk the chance of her being seen by any of Sasukes fans or she will most likely be hounded by them day and night.
"I'm sorry, its just-" she tried to explain herself.
"The fans. Yeah I know." he cut her off as he scratched the back of his head. For once he noticed that she wasn't confident, she had her arms wrapped around her as she looked down to the ground.
"I just want to be friends for now, I am already too busy with the band, school and my video project." She truly did not have time at all, but being close to him and joking with him seemed so right.
"You are somewhat right. I do want you to be successful in this video about me. It is about me after all, it has to be perfect" he chuckled, looking at her. She rolled her eyes and gave him a punch to his arm.
"Ouch, you probably could knock me out" he said as he rubbed the side of his arm. The two continued to walk down Kohona as the shops continued to be lively. He had a great time at the shoot today, he was really surprised at how the whole music video process was. The way Nata commanded everyone was really exciting to watch, he now saw what Itachi and Madara were talking about and actually felt guilty for not listening to them.
"I told you, I really wasn't joking" She replied as they continued to walk down the street.
"Ha, anyway what were you writing in the restaurant? I've noticed you always have your notebook with you everywhere you go. Does it have all your secrets?" he asked jokingly. Wow how original, come on Sasuke think of something better. He thought.
"Well, yeah most of my secrets" she replied sarcastically "But seriously, it's just a place to write all of my thoughts, and everything that's going on. I have video ideas, my plans for the week, school notes, lighting or video details, and sometimes even song lyrics" she said as she named off almost everything about the book.
"Wait, did you say song lyrics?" he curiously asked. He didn't know she was into music writing as well, maybe she could help him out with some lyrics.
"Yeah, I dabble a little, but I'm not the one to sing. I don't really like my voice. I would rather be hidden" she said shyly, it was true, she hated her voice more than anything and she would rather be helping out back stage.
"No way lets hear a little. I think you voice is great" he said trying to give her a little confidence boost.
"Waking up slowly the sound of the rain, it beats on the ground relieving the pain. The smell is familiar the sounds are the same and nobody here has forgotten my name." Hinata said the best she could, her voice a little shaky.
"Okay, okay that sounds really good, did you have a melody to go with it or was it just lyrics?" he asked, he was truly invested. She looked up to him and gave a small smile.
"No melody, it was just some writing I did in class when it was raining last week. I just spaced out and the next thing I know Iruka sensei called on me to answer the math question. I got it wrong." she replied shaking her head. The pair then turned down the street heading their way to Ankos dango shop.
"Ah, yeah he always tends to call on anyone who doesn't pay attention, which is really good for me because Naruto is in that class" he told her thinking about that one time Naruto was trying to nap, but their sensei caught him in the act and made him answer the board full of questions. From then on he was determined to pay attention in that class so he wouldn't be called upon.
"But when does Naruto ever pay attention?" she laughed putting her hand on her mouth. Looking at her aunts shop sign getting closer, she really didn't want this walk to end. Rummaging around her bag she took out her camera turned it on, pressed record and pointed it at him.
"Alright, Mister Uchiha, you just finished filming a couple scenes from your new music video, what do you want to spill to your fans?" she asked as she zoomed in on his face.
"First off the director is amazing and has these great ideas. I am getting down and dirty this weekend and we are excited to be able to have this opportunity. Thank you to the crew that is making this video run so smoothly!" he said into the camera throwing in a peace sign to his fans. Hinata nodded as she closed her camera looking down, she really didn't want to leave.
"Thanks for that little shout out. Seriously, my work means a lot to me" she said to him. "When I first started out no one believed me everyone called me useless and pathetic. I then met Itachi and he believed on what my vision was and wanted to support me. So then I started doing videos for him and it actually brought up my confidence and well here we are now." She truly meant what she said Itachi was a big help, she remembered the first time she tried to talk to him, she could barley say a word. Kiba and Shino both had to ask him for her. Luckily, Itachi is the nicest person ever and agreed to let her record and produce a music video for him. From then on he wanted her on almost every project.
"Yeah, Itachi is really great at believing in someone's abilities and I'm glad he believed in you. I believe in you" he said looking into her lavender eyes. The two stared at each other for what seemed like forever, Sasuke took a big gulp and moved a couple inches closer to her he could almost feel her breath.
Hinata was mere inches from Sasuke any move from both of them she would be kissing him. She felt paralyzed, taking a deep breath she moved back.
"Sasuke, I can't its just-" before she could let anything out he kissed her on the lips. She was lost in a daze, did he really just kiss her?
"The fans, I know and I am really sorry." He replied as he separated from the kiss. Backing away from her giving her some space, he knew if anyone seen that especially a fan they both would be hounded by them. He knew they were ruthless to anyone in their way.
"Um... how about, I will just see you this weekend and I'll text you any details about the video." She said so fast he almost couldn't understand her. She then proceeded to juggle with the keys to get into the dango shop, but once she got in she slammed the door in his face. She was as red as a tomato, she couldn't believe it.
"Did Sasuke actually kiss me?" she whispered to herself, What in the hell am I going to do now?!
