McLean Asylum for Deranged Delinquents - Foyer
Chris sat down in a director's chair, which he had quite inconveniently placed at the bottom of the staircase in the main foyer. He had on a red beret, as well as a pair of black aviator shades, while he held a megaphone in his right hand. He watched his exhausted co-host, who was currently setting up a good deal of recording equipment in the lobby, with a grin upon his smug face. "Make sure you put 'em in spots with good lighting! And be careful, you don't wanna break those! The producers are gonna totally can us if you-" Chris was swiftly cut off by Chef tossing a greasy slab of meat at his face. The vile food slowly slipped down the host's face, leaving behind a trail of grease, and a disgusted look from the host himself.
Eventually, Chris shook off the disgust, as well as the grease, before clearing his throat and turning to face the camera. "Last time on Total Drama Nuthouse: it was a dark and stormy night, and those can only bring about the best of times, as we all know. Fourteen brand new contestants arrived at the newly reopened McLean Asylum for Deranged Delinquents, each of them weird in one way or another. Big, brutish Lilac tried to show just how scary she was, but her pervy lil' buddy, Richard, didn't seem to fall for the intimidation. Totally pissed her off something good! This one freaky girl, Mitsuki, totally fell for our 'sports star,' George, but it seemed that he was just a bit too annoyed by her. The cream of the crop for oddballs, however, was Wane and Wallace, two kindred spirits of pure chaos. It wasn't long before we had Cheffy pelt the new contestants with eggs to get them settled on their new teams: the Psychotic Seagulls and the Freakish Frogs! And then, of course, we rushed 'em all right into the first challenge, finding a way into the asylum! Marlin the 'alien' spent a good long while trying to build a laser with the help of Lilac, Richard was stuck underneath a pile of crack, thanks to Honey, of course, Rex concussed himself, and Henry...well, dude had some major self-esteem issues. It really seemed like the only saving grace for the Seagulls was Carmen, though she was a bit too concerned with losing her beats to give the challenge her all. The Frogs, however, seemed to put much more effort into the challenge! Renee led the chaos brothers to believe that they needed something inside the asylum, and had them working their tails off to bust through the glass, while George sent Mitsuki to find her own way in. And Arin...well, she had her hands full with Desiree and her need-to-know personality. Eventually, Marlin's laser, the final hope for the Seagulls, was struck by a stray bolt of lightning, causing it to explode, and Lilac to deliver a couple of punches to his pompous face. In the end, Mitsuki wandered in through the back entrance, which was supposed to be locked, and won the challenge for her team. Elimination came close, with some votes for both Rex and Marlin, but it ended up being the alien boy who took the first ride out on the lame-o-sine! The contestants are in for a real horrific experience tonight, or should I say that we are? Who will be the second person to lose their big screen debut? Find out, right now, on Total...Drama...Nuthouse!"
As the intro started, the front gate of the asylum opened up, revealing Chris and Chef by the twin doors to the massive building, each pulling one of the doors open, allowing the camera to fly inside.
"Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine," Rex ran down the hall, hissing like a reptile until he was tripped by George, who snickered while Mitsuki stared at him lovingly.
"You guys are on my mind," around the corner, Arin smiled awkwardly while Desiree talked her ears off, but something in the corner of her eye caught her attention, and she rushed into the bathroom.
"You asked me what I wanted to be, now I think the answer's plain to see," Honey popped up from a hole in the floor, holding a shiny keychain in her hand victoriously.
"I wanna be famous!" until it was snatched from her grasp by Wallace, who immediately had it stolen from him by Wane, this process going back and forth until the latter ate it, much to Wallace's dismay.
"I wanna live close to the sun," outside of the building, in the yard, Carmen was slowly headbanging, picking up the pace while getting ready for the big bass drop in her song.
"Go pack your bags, cause I've already won," when the drop hit, Henry meekly tried to approach her, only for her to accidentally kick him all the way across the field and into an outhouse.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way; I'll get there one day," more near the gate, Marlin was laying in the dirt, sprawled out as he was waiting for his "people" to take him back home.
"I wanna be famous!" the killer with a hook hand poked the boy with his hockey stick, causing him to leap up from the dirt in fear, aiming a "ray gun" at him to shoot him, but it did nothing, and he was chased away by him.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!" Pink Panda stood in front of the asylum, striking a heroic pose while staring up to the rooftop, where some mysterious masked person grinned down at her before leaping off of the building.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!" as the two super-people chased after each other, Renee talked over the whole thing, as if she was filming for an ad, but Marlin ran into her and knocked them both to the ground.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!" at the creepy asylum bonfire, right before the front gate, Richard leaned in to kiss Lilac, who growled at him and shoved him off of his chair. The camera panned out to show the rest of the cast sitting around the fire, whistling while Chris and Chef stood off to the side. As the intro ended, the main gate closed shut, revealing a sign on it that read "Total Drama: Nuthouse."

McLean Asylum for Deranged Delinquents - Cafeteria
The thirteen remaining contestants each sat themselves down at the old, dusty tables in the cafeteria, each with a tray in front of them. The trays had, what seemed to be, jellied peas and microwaved chicken patties on them. Some of the contestants could've cared less about what they were consuming, at least in the case of Wane, that is. Most, however, seemed downright offended by the mockery of "food" that sat before them. Lilac used her plastic spork to scoop up some of the peas, although she just frowned at them as they slowly dropped back down to the tray. She gritted her teeth and shoved the tray away before crossing her arms. "Ugh, this food really stinks, Chef! You could try to make it more appetizing, eh?"
"Consider each meal a blessing, you never know when you ain't gonna get another one," Chef snapped back at the girl, seeming to strike a chord with her. She meekly returned to eating her food, without another peep, and many of the other contestants were simply baffled. Richard snickered at her from across the table, earning a glare back from her, but he, of course, took her anger a lot lighter than he probably should've. He scooted on over to sit next to her, only for her to shove him off of the table's bench, and onto the floor.
"Ooo, rejected!" George mocked the boy with a grin, hardly noticing that Mitsuki was standing right behind him, staring at him with lust on her brain. "You know, maybe you would have some better luck with the ladies if you had a bit more flair. Can't say you're much to look at."
"Be that as it may," Richard pulled himself to his feet and dusted his pants off as he started talking back to the aggressor, "I could a shrimpy fraction of my dad's image, like you." The perverse boy's comment caused George to glare at him intensely, many of the others even laughed at it. Even Lilac managed a small chuckle, though she immediately stopped when she noticed that Richard was grinning over at her. "I mean, you've already got a girlfriend, so who am I to judge, I guess?"
"Huh?" George looked back over at Mitsuki, jumping back a bit upon noticing just how close she was to him. "A-ah, she's not my girlfriend, far from it! She's just some freaky girl who's kind of obsessed with me, that's all!" Mitsuki tuned in and out of what the boy was saying, completely ignoring the ruder part of what he had said about her. Honey tapped her chin from where she sat, cocking her head a little at the girl.
"I don't think she's freaky!" The hardly intelligent girl butted in, a bright smile on her face. Some of the others glanced over at her, Mitsuki included. "She's kinda cute! Not freaky!" Mitsuki gritted her teeth as she heard Honey's words, shuffling to hide herself back behind George, once again.
"I don't need some hot bimbo to be calling me cute, that's so insulting! I can be hot, too, you ginormous melon having-" Mitsuki's aggressive thoughts were cut off suddenly by the clanging of metal on metal. Her and the others shifted their glance over at the door to the dusty cafeteria to notice that Chris was standing there, a silver platter in one hand with a silver ladle in the other. Once he noticed that he had everyone's attention, he tossed them off to the side, causing them to clang and crash off to the side.
"How's everyone doing tonight?" The host asked with a grin on his face. He had something about him that suggested he had some ominous plans, but it was hard to tell just what he had in mind. "It is your fourth night here, afterall. Good hosts always need to make sure that their contestants are enjoying their stay."
"You? A good host?" Renee cackled at the man, waving him off with one hand while shoving her scraps off of the table she was at. The plate fell for a second, but it couldn't crash to the ground before Wane scooted underneath it, mouth wide open. He swallowed the plate and the scraps whole, not a single crunching noise coming from his wicked maw. Renee glanced at him with disgust, but soon refocused on the host. "I seem to recall you only enjoying the misery that came from all of your contestants. What would suddenly lead you to have this change of heart?"
"Oh, you know, I just felt like I wanted to start being a better person. I gotta look out for you guys if I want this season to be a success, right?" Chris chuckled ominously, gaining some worried looks from a good deal of the contestants. He cleared his throat, smiling soon after. "Anywho, I just wanted to suggest that you all should probably head on up to bed, soon. You're gonna have a really big day ahead of you, I would hate for you to not get a good night's rest before it."
Confessional
Renee tapped her index finger against her chin while grinning, thinking about what devious trick Chris could be trying to pull on them this time. "Everybody has a pitch in a game like this, and Chris's pitch ain't being a good host...not at all. He's like the Bill Swift of the reality tv world; chaotic and unpredictable." Renee chuckled to herself for a brief moment. "I like to think of myself as more of a Tilly Mays. Everybody knows my face well, and loves it...and it gets them right into my pocket. Hehehehe…"
"Oh, oh, oh! Chris has that funny look on his face again!" Desiree could hardly contain herself as she bounced up and down in the confessional like a toddler on a pogo stick. "You know, that one he gets whenever he has something big planned for his contestants! Turns out, the reason he does that is because he has a horrible poker face! All of his poker buddies mention that it's super easy to tell what kind of hand he has from that little smirk of his. Aren't these random little blips just the best?"
Confessional End
Not long after he entered, Chris had left the cafeteria, leaving the contestants along with Chef, though the co-host himself was closing up shop for the night. At his lunch counter, he pulled down an iron curtain from the ceiling, hiding him and his murky kitchen from everyone's view. Some of the group got up to head to their rooms, as Chris had suggested to them, while some others were a bit more invested with other things. Arin couldn't help but notice that Henry was fiddling around with something underneath the table he was at, making sure to hide it from everyone's sight. Out of curiosity, she wandered over to him, tapping him on the shoulder and causing him to leap in fear. "Woah, sorry, Henry!" The tall girl laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of her head. "Didn't mean to spook ya, I was just wondering what you were doing under the table there?"
"U-under the table?" Henry trembled nervously, his hands still stuck under the table while he refused to turn around. "H-h-haha, nothing, I'm not doing anything under the t-table! That's really such a silly question, why would I be doing anything under the table? You're s-so crazy, Arin! Hahahaha!" Arin narrowed her eyes at Henry while he rambled on and on, easily picking up on how he was trying to shake her away from him.
"Not doing anything, eh? Well, I guess you wouldn't mind if I reached under there to check, right? I mean, since you're doing nothing." At this point, some of the other contestants were looking over at the two, interested to see just where this was headed. Beads of sweat bulleted down Henry's forehead as he gulped down some of his fear, only being barely able to squeak some awkward words out.
"D-don't be silly!" The boy's voice cracked as if he was still going through puberty. "T-there's nothing under the table, so there is no n-need to check under the table, simple as that! N-now, I'll just-" Henry tried to scoot his bag underneath the table with his foot, but Arin swiftly stopped him.
"You're really acting awfully suspicious, Henry...if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were some sort of villa-"
"I'M TOUCHING MYSELF UNDER THE TABLE, YEP, THAT'S IT! GOTTA RUN NOW!" Henry rose from his seat in a hurry, grabbing his bag and tossing something into it before rushing out of the room. Richard gave him a thumbs up while most of the other's echoed in a choir of "ew"s. More and more of them started to leave the cafeteria at this point, each trying to shake off what had just happened. Arin had her own disgusted face on, but before she could leave the room, she noticed something twinkling from under the seat that Henry was just sitting at. She walked back over to notice a needle on the ground.
"Huh...that's odd," She squatted down to get a better look at it, noticing that there were some letters engraved on the side. "'MM'...I wonder what that stands for. Very interesting...very interesting, indeed." She snatched up the needle and tucked it away into her pocket before following after the rest of the contestants.
Confessional
"Henry really acts strange around me, haven't you noticed?" Arin blushed a little as she thought about the two strange encounters that she had with the boy previously. "I mean, there was the 'Big Lady' comment, and now the...eugh, this other thing. I just find it a bit odd that I'm the only person he's acting this weird around. Heh, maybe the dude just has some sort of crush on me or something. Wouldn't that be funny?"

McLean Asylum for Deranged Delinquents - Community Bedrooms
Some time later, after Chris had convinced all of the contestants to go to their bedrooms, many of them were either asleep already or getting ready to sleep. However, Richard, being the opportunist that he is, was up and slowly started sneaking his way into the girl's room. Once he entered, he slouched his shoulders and started to sniffle, trying to make himself look sad and small. Honey was the first of the girls on the Seagulls to notice him standing in the doorway. "Hey, what's wrong Richy?" She smiled sweetly at him, sitting up in her bed rather than laying down.
"Oh…h-hey, Honey…" Richard sighed in his pseudo-sadness, "I…had a nightmare. I-I don't think I c-can sleep by myself like that…" He rubbed his arm weakly, shivering here and there while avoiding looking at her. However, Honey's smile just got brighter and brighter as she opened her arms for him
"Oh, Richy! Come on up here, I'll protect you from your nightmares!" Honey waved him to come over while that bright smile stayed stuck on her face, giving Richard the widest grin he's ever experienced. He slowly started to move towards her, at least until Lilac grabbed him by the back of his shirt.
"What the hell are you doing in here!?'' She growled while staring him down, her foot tapping against the creaky floorboards. "Well? Are you gonna answer me or what!?"
"I had a nightmare and I needed support," Richard stated dryly, not so amused that Lilac was in the way of him getting everything he dreamed of. She just growled down at him some more, winding her fist back to punch the back of his head before Richard turned around with a large smirk. "Could it be...you're just upset that I'm giving another girl attention? I could always snuggle up to you if you want, there's lots of love to go around."
Lilac glared at him and gave him a hard smack upside the head, "You can snuggle with whoever you want, I just don't want you being annoying all night long!" She turned back towards her bed, not wanting anything to do with him or her team at this point.
Richard groaned and fell on the ground before looking back up at Honey with excitement filling his eyes. He jumped up to her bed, quickly nuzzling in with her. "Oh, I feel so much braver already, Honey…" Richard smirked to himself as he started using her 'pillows'.
Honey smiled and slowly petted the back of his head. "I'm glad you feel safe now, Richy! I've had nightmares before, they can be so scary sometimes!" Richard, however, ignored her words and just chose to start getting comfy. He wrapped his hands around her to hold her as close as possible as he closed his eyes again to rest. Meanwhile, back in her own bed, Lilac was gritting her teeth. "Do you think I can get a goodnight kiss?" She could hear the question over her shoulder, but ultimately covered her ears with her pillow to shut them out.
Confessional
"Honey is some different breed of dumb, that's for certain." Lilac filed down her nails with, what seemed to be, some sort of prison shank. She glanced over at the camera with that glimmer of fury back in her eyes again. "And Richard is just...dude's disgusting. I swear, I'll get plenty of ass-kickings in on him before he inevitably gets eliminated. Let's shoot for twenty, I think twenty is a reasonable goal."
Confessional End
Mitsuki was sitting up on her own bed, leaning against the wall as close as she possibly could without pushing her head straight through it. Desiree rolled over to look at her hugging the wall, the curious little smile of hers flashing up on her face. "Hey, hey, Double M Girl!" She spoke loudly, per her usual, and Arin's ear twitched upon hearing that name she mentioned. The supergirl glanced down at the needle in her hand, reading the "MM" on it once again, with her confusion growing more and more. Desiree continued to ramble on while Arin tried to figure out the needle's purpose. "Whatcha doin', you know, hugging that wall over there and such? Looks like you're up to something fun, and I just gotta know wha-"
Mitsuki jumped and rolled over, covering the wall entirely, almost as if she was protecting something. She was sweating with an all too obvious blush on her face. "N-nothing! I-I'm doing nothing!" Renee just raised an eyebrow at her from her bed before getting up and walking over slowly. Mitsuki latched herself even tighter to the wall, desperately trying to look unsuspicious, though it had the opposite effect.
Renee grabbed the shrimpy girl and simply moved her to the side, finding a hole in the side of her bed. The spokeswoman smirked, "Oh, what do we have here?" She peeked into the hole, looking around a bit before seeing the back of George's head as he slept. She slowly turned over to Mituski, who was just looking away from her. "Mitsuki..."
"It's not my fault! H-h-h-he's sleeping r-r-right next to me! I-It's l-l-like we're snuggling!" Mitusku kicked Renee away while staying close to her little peeky hole.
"Fine, fine! I don't care about your love fling with him, have your fun," Renee scoffed as she walked away, not wanting to deal with Mitsuki this late at night. The latter smiled to herself as she nuzzled close to her peeky hole.
"Night, George," she murmured to herself as she closed her eyes. On the other side of the wall, George's eyes were wide open and bloodshot as he held onto his blanket in a deathgrip.
Confessional
"I am so sick of her!" George tugged his droopy eyelids down as he groaned about Mitsuki being a nuisance. He kicked his feet against the ground, eventually getting in a childish, pouty state. "I can't even sleep at night without her creeping on me! I didn't want to have to start playing this game this hard so early, but this is the final straw! I'm eliminating her before she slips something into my drink at lunch."
Confessional End
In the boys room, things were quite a bit quieter all around. Wane was the loudest of the group, with monstrous snores as he slept with his mouth wide open, which was usual for him. George at least seemed to be asleep, if not settled down to the point that he would fall asleep at any moment, Henry was completely underneath his blankets, seeming to be asleep, give for some rolling around every now and then, and Rex was knocked out cold, with his arm dangling off the side of his bed. For some odd reason, his pillow had a pillowcase with embroidery on it, different from everyone else's. The embroidery was quite shiny, which Wallace couldn't help but notice from his bunk, which just so happened to be above Rex's.
The treasure lover grinned as he stared at the pillow, slipping on a special black glove so he could start reaching down towards it. His arms were long, but not quite long enough, as he reached a bit too far and fell off the side of his bed, crashing on the floor, right next to Rex. Quickly, he leapt to his feet, terrified that the boy may have woken, only to notice that he was still out of it. "Phew," he laughed lightly out of relief, wiping his nervous brow. "For a second there, I thought you were gonna get up. Anywho, this little beaut is mine now, thank you very much!"
Wallace reached down to Rex's pillow, grabbing onto the case with two fingers, when Rex suddenly woke up. He snapped his jaw down on Wallace's skinny, little arm like a hungry alligator. The thief's eyes bulged open, tearing up a bit from the sudden bite, and he let out a bloodcurdling scream, waking up both George and Henry, while Wane simply rolled onto his side to continue snoring. "What happened!?" George asked, frantically scanning the room to see what had gone wrong.
"Ths ltl thf trd stln frm m!" Rex let out a series of incomprehensible muffled noises, refusing to pull his teeth away from Wallace, who was trying to shove him off. Henry and George rushed over to get the boy off, eventually succeeding and revealing a toothy indent on Wallace's arm. "This little thief tried stealing from me! That's what I said! What's your deal, man?"
"W-what's my deal!? I dunno, Mr. Jurassic, what's your deal!? You probably just gave me rabies with that bite of yours...who bites people anyways!?" Wallace stuck his tongue out at Rex while rubbing his pained arm, wincing each time he touched the part that was bitten.
Confessional
"I've been punched, kicked, body slammed, thrown off a roof, dunked into a lake, tied to a pole, had a firecracker dropped into my pants, given a wedgie so intense that it cut off the circulation to my butt…" Wallace applied some ointment to his arm, still teary-eyed from the sheer pain of the bite. "But being bitten is new, and definitely the worst! You, sir, are going down for this!"
Confessional End
"Alright, this is ridiculous. If you two can't get along, then you're gonna have to be split up." George sighed as he grabbed his things from his bed and dragged them over. "Wallace, move your stuff over to that bed. That way, you and Rex can't fight with each other, and some of us can get some shuteye." Wallace groaned, but from the annoyed look on George's face, he could tell that he wasn't playing around. He grumbled to himself, grabbing his own things and moving on over to George's bed, sitting down on it.
"Oh, you have gotta be kidding me!" A girl's voice echoed from the other side of the wall, followed by some slamming noises. Wallace cocked an eyebrow, turning to notice the hole in the wall. He grinned to himself, peering down to look into it, only for someone's finger to poke into his eye, causing him to flop back onto the ground, howling in pain.
Confessional
"Take that, creepy girl!" George cheered, bowing to a fake crowd of some sort. "Thank you, thank you. Why, yes! I do know that I'm a genius! Thanks for noticing!"
"G-G-George is playing hard t-t-to get, I s-s-s-s-see how it is." Mitsuki crossed her arms while sitting in the outhouse, her face showing an annoyed look. "Th-th-that's fine, I c-c-can do with the challenge i-i-if it means I end up with a h-h-h-h-hot football star!" The annoyance quickly switched to perversion, with a massive blush and a little drool dripping from her mouth.
Confessional End
Back in the girls' room, things were getting quiet, finally. Richard had fallen asleep, his head nuzzled in Honey's breast, who was also asleep. Lilac hadn't drifted quite off to sleep yet, but her eyes kept drooping shut as she tried to hold them open. It was only a matter of time before she knocked out cold. Arin was peacefully sleeping with her hand dangling off the bed, although it was clutching her backpack tightly. Desiree was asleep on the bunk above her friend, and she was snoring...well, really she was rattling off random blurts of drama, but she was completely unconscious. Renee was on the bunk above Mitsuki, sleeping with many fluffy pillows in her bed, ones that had some big brand name on them. Mitsuki had drifted off as well, though she still seemed quite upset with George switching bunks, which could be seen from her angry face. That had at least stuck with her as she slept. But she hugged the wall anyways, pretending she was hugging George in her sleep.
Carmen was on the bunk right above Lilac, her beats still plugged into her ears, per usual. The music was playing pretty loud, at least loud enough to hear the beat from them if you were close by. She was lightly snoring, and upon closer inspection, one would notice that her snoring was lining up with the beat of the song she was listening to. But, like all peace does, this eventually needed to come to an end. The silhouette of a hulking man dwelled in the dim light of the doorway, one which Lilac noticed for a brief moment before her eyes shut again. When she opened them, the silhouette was gone. She assumed she was just thinking it up, due to how tired she was. Then, a soft tapping noise started echoing through the room.
Lilac turned to face the center of the room, then realizing that she wasn't hallucinating at all, and there was indeed a hulking man in the room. He towered over her, a hockey mask on his face with a hockey stick in hand. She gasped loudly as he held the hockey stick up to swing it at her, only for Arin to suddenly rush over from her bed, grabbing him by the ankles and flipping him over her shoulders, onto the floor. A loud thud came from the man hitting the floor, followed by a pained groan. "Everybody okay?" Arin asked, checking the other girls to see that the bulk of them were waking up.
"What's wrong with you, girl!?" The man on the ground quickly stood up, cracking his back in pain. He pulled up his mask to reveal that he was actually Chef, simply dressed in his odd getup.
"Chef, don't you know it's rude to suddenly barge into a woman's room without being welcomed in first?" Richard frowned down at him as he held onto Honey, pretending to be scared so he could keep his head closer to her.
"Oh yeah, real rude," Lilac shot a wicked glare at Richard, who grinned back at her and winked. "Anyway, why were you even in here with all that crap?"
"All that 'crap' is for a challenge, can't you tell?" Chris spoke up from the doorway, upon which he was leaning. He grinned at the group while they came off of their beds, all except for one, that being Carmen, who was still dead asleep. The host rubbed his eyebrow in annoyance upon noticing her up there, and he walked on towards her. He aimed his megaphone at her ear, pulling her headphone from it with his other hand, and shouted, "Rise and shine! Time for a challenge!"
Carmen jumped up out of shock, landing on the floor next to Chris, who was cackling at her. She groaned a bit before pulling herself back up to her feet and dusting her pants off. "You could've done that in so many ways, yet you chose the most annoying way possible...classic Chris."
"I'm glad you're starting to understand how I roll," he nudged her with his elbow as he laughed. Soon, he walked back to the doorway, with an aching Chef right behind him. "Meet down in the foyer in ten minutes, we'll grab the boys and bring 'em down, too."
Confessional
"Gee, I didn't think the hosts were gonna be this wacky when I signed up for this thing." Honey rubbed the back of her head with a cheesy grin. "I guess it could be worse, though. I'm making so many friends here that the weirdness of the hosts doesn't even matter!"
"Maybe slamming Chef against the ground was a bit much, but you can never be too careful!" Arin studied the needle in one hand while she sat in the booth. "There's so many weird happenings around here, someone is gonna have to get to the bottom of it! And I think I know just the girl for the job…" She grinned as she clutched her backpack in one hand.

McLean Academy for Deranged Delinquents - Foyer
The thirteen had gathered in the foyer, just as Chris and Chef had instructed them to, only to be met with camera equipment on both sides of the massive room, presumably one side per team. Chris sat in a director's chair, his red beret on with his megaphone in hand, while Chef sat on a small stool next to him, still dressed as a masked murderer. The contestants were all quite droopy, groaning as they forced themselves to stay awake for whatever this challenge was. Chris lifted his megaphone to his mouth, quickly shouting through it. "I hope you're all well rested for this challenge. You're gonna have to rack your brains for this one!"
"A challenge with a lot of thinking?" Wane groaned as he scuffed the ground with his feet, clearly not having this nonsense. "C'mon, Chris, you know me and my brain don't get along too well. He's always telling me to consume a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables, I just don't roll that way."
"Luckily for you, I highly doubt your team will choose you to direct for the challenge. That's right, each team will have to pick one director, because you're gonna be making movies!" Chris snickered as the two teams glanced between each other, trying to size up just who would make the cut as a good director. "Naturally, the director will have to come up with a good idea for a movie, which must be horror themed! Unfortunately for them, their team will be off getting props while they start working on their script! Whatever your team brings you is what you get, there are no trades or take-backs! So, I'd really think hard about who you want directing before you just up and pick someone who may, oh, I dunno, make the movie all about dinosaurs." Chris glanced over at Rex, who blushed awkwardly and rubbed his arm with his clawed glove. "So, you've got a minute to pick! Hop to it, folks!"
The two teams got into circles, each facing each other while trying to figure out the best route for directors. Lilac looked at her teammates long and hard. There was Richard, who simply grinned perversely at her, Honey, who was smiling like the big oaf she was, Henry, who looked as if he was about to wet himself at any given moment, Rex, who was practically bouncing up and down with excitement, and Carmen, who was too into her music to be paying attention to anyone else in the group. "Well, shit...looks like I'm gonna have to direct this thing if we want any chance at winning this challenge. Can you guys at least try to get some good props while you're looking? And no weird sex crap." She glared over at Richard.
"Oh, please, I would never grab anything like that. I'll have you know that I appreciate movies just as much as I appreciate gorgeous, busty women, such as yourse-" the boy tried to make a perverse comment, but he was quickly struck on top of his head with Lilac's fist, which knocked him straight to the floor.
"Anybody else gonna give me a hard time? For your sakes, I hope not." She looked around the circle again, groaning as she noticed Henry slowly raising his hand in the air. "I swear, if you ask me something dumb, I'm gonna dunk your head in the confessional toilet."
"W-w-well, I was just wondering about what kind of script you had in mind f-for the movie. L-like, are we going slasher, jumpscare, psychological horror...it w-would help us when we're looking for the props." Some of the others nodded in agreement to what Henry had said, including Richard, who was just now pulling himself back up from the floor.
"Well, of course we're gonna do some bloody slasher film! The plot can be kinda lazy as long as we have lots of blood and guts on screen, that always gets people screaming!" Lilac couldn't help but smirk at her own plan, chuckling a bit to herself as well. The other members of her team stared as if she was insane, which, to be fair, wouldn't be out of the ordinary for anyone here. "Alright, let's kick those Frogs right in the keister!"
While the Seagulls had their fun little group meeting, the Frogs were having a bit more trouble with figuring out who should be in charge. "I mean, let's just be real here for a moment," George spoke above the discourse, aka the rowdiness of Wane, who was trying to eat a camera. "The director for our film needs to be someone with a good brain on them, and that honestly isn't a trait of that many of us. I say it should be myself because, well, let's face the facts! Wane, you're basically just a walking set of jaws, Wallace, all you care about is stuffing your pockets with shiny crap, Desiree would probably make all the dialogue go on forever and there would be no action, Arin is just too damn giddy to make a horror film, and Mitsuki...well, she hardly even talks to us as is. How would she even lead a group like this?"
"He's doubting my abilities! He probably just doesn't want me to get in trouble if the challenge goes south for us, such a caring boy!" Mitsuki's thoughts started to overpower the rest of what she was hearing, and she slipped into a perverted little smile as she imagined George riding on a horse, while shirtless. Her nose dripped a little drop of blood, which was quickly wiped off her face by Renee and her assorted cleaning supplies. This broke the happy image in her head, as she was brought back to the harsh reality of things. "This bitch totally just ruined my fantasy! Ooo, she is so going down for that!"
"That's all well and fine, Georgie Porgie, but I couldn't help but notice that you happened to omit one name while you were going on about who would be a bad director." Renee smirked at George, who, along with Mitsuki, glared back at her. She tapped her forehead a bit as she smirked, looking down upon the two of them as if she was just better than them. "You seem to know that I'm pretty good at getting things done and keeping even the wildest of people in line, as I displayed in the last challenge with Thing One and Thing Two over here." She gestured to Wane and Wallace, who were hardly paying attention to what was going on, at least until they noticed her looking at them. They swiftly snapped to attention like obedient dogs, which George could only roll his eyes to. "Yes, I think I would be quite better at directing this film than you. I have been the lead in several ads before, as I'm sure you have seen. My experience is sure to net us the win."
"The only way I'm letting you run this game is if the team chooses you over me, which they won't! All in favor of Renee," he said her name with a disgusted tone, though it didn't knock the smirk off of her face, "Being our director, raise your hands." George grinned smugly as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms, waiting a second before opening them to see that Wane, Wallace, Desiree, and Arin all had their hands up. His jaw dropped at the sight of the severe outnumbering. "Desiree!? Arin!? Why would you vote for her over me!?"
"Well, I mean, you did just kinda flat out tell us that we would be bad at leading this challenge." Arin glared at him as she spoke, reminding him of what he had said before. He shifted his glance to the ground awkwardly. "Besides, she does have the experience here. If this was a sports challenge, you...might make a better leader, but as far as things go when it comes to directing, I'd rather put the fate of our team in her hands."
Desiree nodded up and down while Arin spoke, barely able to contain herself and wait for her turn to speak. "And, and, and I saw you leading Mitsuki in the last challenge! Your whole leadership was just telling her to wander off, isn't that crazy? I think if you told all of us to wander off, nothing would get done, we would be screwed!" George rubbed his brow with the palm of his hand as the two rattled off why they voted for Renee.
"Fine, whatever, the commercial girl can direct for this challenge, but when we end up losing, don't go blaming me!" Renee patted George on the head, giggling at his despair while Mitsuki kept on glaring at her.
Confessional
"Of course I ended up winning the vote, George has left a piss poor impression on all of our team already! When it comes to leadership, everyone wants a leader that they know will make an impact and shake things up!" Renee smirked as she pulled out a chef's knife, showing the shiny blade to the camera. "Just like how I'm shaking things up by doing an ad for this Ninja Knife! Just one slice is all it takes to get your goods all chopped up." She started to mumble after that, her words barely hearable. "Note, touching this blade to your skin will cause your eyes to pop out of your skull."
"I-I-I'm just a little bit worried about having Lilac in charge of our movie," Henry twiddled his thumbs nervously, imagining just what she could have in store for the team. "I mean, I'm sure it'll be violent, but knowing her...i-it'll be too scary for us to even perform it right!"
Confessional End
Renee and Lilac stood up near Chris, the former being to the left of him while the latter was on the right. They each had a pad of paper and a pen in hand while they stood there, staring back at their teams. Chris lifted the megaphone back up to his lips before speaking to the crowd again. "Alrighty folks, you guys have got the next thirty minutes to find whatever props you can! They're all scattered on the ground floor, some in obvious spots, some hidden a bit better. Keep in mind that the props that are hidden will work a bit better for the horror genre than the things you'll spot out in the open. Oh, and when you get back, you'll get to meet the two interns that'll be doing the camera work for the movies! And with that out of the way, the prop hunt starts...now!"
Upon hearing that signal, the two teams split up, each of their members heading in different directions to engage in their little prop hunt. Richard went with Honey, of course, smirking to himself as he noticed her features bouncing while she ran. He kept staring as she ran, eventually screeching to halt and standing in front of her, causing her to stop too. "You know, Honey, I've been thinking about a lot of things. I mean, you seem like a total catch to me...and that's just from looking at you."
"A catch?" Honey cocked her head at the boy, raising a finger to her lips in thought. "You mean like when you go fishing and stuff? I didn't know I made anybody think I was a fish, but that's pretty cool!" She giggled a bit, only getting a bit of an annoyed frown from Richard before she started to walk again. He, of course, walked right back in front of her, making her stop, yet again.
"I don't mean a catch like a fish, something completely different. I mean, I would love to be able to date somebody like you. You know, the curves, the cute face, you really are a package deal!" He tried to get her to understand what he was saying, but she still looked just as puzzled as before. He let out a drawn out sigh before simplifying it as best as he could. "I'm trying to see if, you know, you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Ohhhhh, I see what you mean, now!" She beamed with happiness, causing Richard to sigh in relief. "Yeah, that could be a bunch of fun! Why not, right?"
"Eh?" The boy looked up at her with a confused look plastered on his face. For the most part, all of the girls that he spoke to would reject him right away, he was really used to it at this point. Having somebody just agree to his offer...it really sent him for a loop. "Y-you're not gonna tell me to buzz off? Not gonna say, 'In your dreams?' Or call me a stupid pervert?"
"No, why would I do that? Those seem like pretty mean things to say, but I don't wanna be mean! I'd rather make everybody happy!" Honey chuckled innocently, not understanding why Richard looked so completely dumbfounded. "So, we're gonna be boyfriend and girlfriend, then?"
"You know," he paused for a moment as he tried to process what had just happened. In all of his years spent hitting on different girls, none had ever done what Honey was doing right now. For some odd reason, it didn't sit well with him either. He could only think about how wrong it was for it to go down like this. "On second thought, maybe me and you should just stay as friends. I mean...I heard Lilac has actually got a big crush on me, and I don't think she would be happy if someone else was dating me. You said you wanted everyone to be happy, right?"
"Yep! Everybody deserves to be happy, even if they're a crazy meanie pants sometimes! That's okay, we'll just be buddies so you and Lilac can date and stuff!" She giggled again before happily skipping off down the hallway, leaving Richard behind. He watched her as she kept on bouncing, but for some reason, he lost interest, and started walking back towards the way they came from.
Confessional
"I really don't know what's wrong with me…" Richard laughed a little as he stared down at the ground. "I mean, I had everything I could've possibly wanted just there for the taking, but I turned it away? This place must have some weird sort of chemicals in the air, cause they're really fucking with my head." He laughed a bit more, keeping a small grin on his face.

Rex and Carmen started to search around the cafeteria, looking for any sort of prop around the tables, but the things that they noticed were all out of place for a horror movie. For the most part, it was pool noodles, frisbees, and rocks with painted faces on them. Carmen took one of the rocks in her hand and sighed as she looked at it before tossing it over her shoulder. It conked Rex on the head, causing him to stumble over Chef's counter and into the kitchen. She gasped and rushed on over to him. "Oh, sorry, Rex! Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," the boy groaned as he pulled himself back to his feet, turning around to reveal that there was a figurine of an ax murderer lodged into his helmet. Carmen gasped as she saw it, quickly pulling it from the helmet and observing it in her hands. Rex turned back around to see what she was doing. "What is that thing?"
"You must've landed on it when you stumbled over the counter just now...it looks like it would be perfect to make the killer do stunt double things!" She smiled at Rex and patted him on the helmet. "Nice find! Lilac's gonna be happy to see that we found an actual good prop in here!" She turned to start walking back towards the lobby, leaving Rex alone in the kitchen. He raised his glove hand to his face as he thought about what else he could grab, noticing that there was a pot of tomato soup on the counter. With a grin, he snatched it up and started to walk after her.
Confessional
"Rex really isn't that smart, but I've noticed that he has a really high pain tolerance." Carmen held the figurine up with a proud look on her face, as if she was the one who found it. "It comes in handy sometimes...at least when he's being a fool and getting himself hurt. Gotta admire the will to push through and all that! It totally reminds me of that time I listened to a lot of battle music...it really got the adrenaline going! I was unstoppable when I listened to that stuff!"
"Sometimes, I feel like people only think I'm useful because my skull is twice as thick as an average person's. Be that as it may, I have a big ol' brain in my massive skull, and that brain sometimes has some pretty good ideas. Like this soup!" Rex held up the pot of red soup, a grin on his face. "We could totally use this...to take a snack break when we get tired from working on the movie! I know, my genius can be frightening at times."
Confessional End
Wallace and Wane were both looking for whatever it was that they needed for Renee's film. Truth be told, they didn't actually pay attention to what she wanted of them. Wallace picked his ear while looking down at Wane, "What did that bossy girl want from us again?"
Wane just shrugged as he scratched his ass. "Not my problem, that's what she wanted!" The two of them chuckled together before giving each other a fist bump. "I'm just looking around for something that would sell for a lot."
Wallace snickered a bit, keeping his eyes peeled for anything shiny before both of them saw a bag of glitter just sitting on the ground. They both looked at each other before pushing the other out of the way and trying to steal it for themselves. They were ripping it from each other as they went from side to side. Meanwhile, Arin was walking towards them with a camera in her arms when she saw them arguinging, "Hey, we really won't need glitter for this guy-" she was quickly cut off by the glitter ripping open and getting all over her face. She screamed loudly "Oh god, it got up my nose and in my eyes!"
Arin dropped on her knees and collapsed onto the floor. Wane and Wallace slowly turned to her, not sure what to do before they saw the camera she had dropped and slowly looked at each other. "Mine!" they both yelled before jumping at it and, by default, her.
Confessional
Arin was weakly rubbing her eyes, letting out a small groan while she did that. "I-I can't believe those two took me down so easily," she sighed, "I feel like this whole team is brimming with villainy. Wane and Wallace just steal everything that has so much as a slight sheen to it, George is mean to everyone, and Renee is also kinda mean. The only saving grace is the heroism I see in Desiree. She's a sweet young girl, a bit of a chatterbox, but still. But then Mitsuki…I don't know if she is a villain herself, but I feel simping for a villain is at least worth something."
Confessional End
Henry was off searching in one of the many corridors of the first floor, pulling old paintings off of the wall and checking behind them to see if there were any props he could use. Needless to say, he wasn't having much luck, as each painting had nothing behind it. He sadly sighed as he tossed one of them behind him, only to hear it crash against something and knock against the floor. He turned around to see that Desiree was now seated on the ground, the painting around her neck like a mane. Henry gasped before rushing over to her and pulling it off. "A-a-are you okay? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hit you! Please, s-say you're okay!"
"Ugh…" Desiree wobbled a bit as she pulled herself, but after shaking her head off, she seemed to be back to her usual self, for better or for worse. She grinned a big grin at the boy who had inadvertently attacked her with the painting. "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay! You! Earlier, in the cafeteria! You totally lied to Arin about what it was you were doing under the table!"
Henry's eyes widened as she recalled what happened back there. He quickly shifted his glance over to the wall and trembled nervously. "I-I-I don't know what you mean by that! I don't l-lie about stuff like that, my dad said t-t-to always tell the truth about things if I wanna make it anywhere in this world."
"Oh, come on now, you weren't playing with yourself in front of everybody in that cafeteria! You're so wimpy that you can barely stand to say hi to more than two people at a time! You were doing something that you didn't want her to know, I know that much!" She leaned up towards his face, still grinning that big grin of hers. In her act of intimidation, they hardly realized that Arin snuck right past them and went into one of the restrooms. "You know, when I got my sights on something, I make sure I get it sooner or later. I'm gonna find out about what you were doing, I promise!" She smiled innocently before grabbing a fake ax that she noticed in the corner. Henry gulped his fear down as she strolled away, and he went on further down the hall.
In one of the other hallways, Mitsuki was trailing after George, who was power-walking to the best of his ability to shake her off. Nevertheless, she kept on following him, staying as close as she could. His eyebrow twitched a little as he glanced to the side and noticed her right next to him. "You know, it really isn't the best idea for us to be looking for these props in groups." He smirked at her and stopped where he was, causing her to stop as well. "I think we should split up, if we wanna get as many props as possible, that is. You keep going down this way, and I'll go somewhere far, far away. Sounds good, right?"
Mitsuki opened her mouth to answer him, but before she knew it, George was already out of sight. She grumbled to herself before turning around to chase after him, only for a bag to be placed over her head. She was quickly dragged away, hearing a door open and shut before the bag was pulled off of her head. She was in a dimly lit closet, and standing before her was a tall, muscular woman in a superhero costume of sorts. It was a pink onesie, one that had a large, fluffy panda head functioning as a hood. Oddly, the eyes of the panda hoodie seemed to function like real eyes, staring the smaller girl down intensely. She quickly pulled out a needle from her side pocket and flashed it before Mitsuki's face, pointing out the initials on it. "Mitsuki Mani, aka MM, what do you know about this needle?"
Mitsuki stared at her blankly for a moment before letting out an incredibly annoyed sigh. "This big bitch is getting in the way of me and George! Oh, I'm gonna fuck her up something good for this! I'll...I'll squeeze a lemon in her stupid, panda eyes! And then, I'll pop her oversized boobs with that dumb needle! Yeah, that's exactly what I'll do!" She cleared her throat a little and shifted her glance to the floor. "I-I-I-I-I don't know what that i-i-is…"
"You don't?" The superhero seemed to be genuinely taken aback by that answer, and she looked down at the needle again to reread the initials. "'MM,' you're the only one with MM as your initials in this whole place! A-and you don't know anything about this?"
"I d-d-dunno, maybe it doesn't stand for a name or something. It c-c-could be something else...my mom doesn't let me have needles or other sharp objects a-a-around cause she's w-w-w-worried I may hurt someone. C-c-can I go now?"
"Yeah, I guess you can." The superhero sighed and opened the door, allowing her to freely walk out. "But, mark my words, the Pink Panda will get to the bottom of this, no matter what!" She took a heroic pose, though Mitsuki completely ignored her and kept walking down the hall. Soon enough, the Pink Panda walked out, shutting the door behind her and sighing. "I was almost sure that it was going to lead me to her...now I'm at a total loss! Oh well, the Pink Panda won't give up so easily!" She let out a heroic laugh, but soon cut it off when something flew past her head and into the wall. She glanced over to see that it was another needle, this one with a note attached to it. "W-what is this?"
She walked over to where the needle had stuck itself, grabbing the note from it to read what it said. "Stop looking into this...or else! - M.M.." She felt her heart drop to her stomach while she read it, soon glancing around to see if anyone was nearby, but finding no one. "T-this MM is proving to be really intense. I'd better switch back so nobody sees me." She started to dash towards the bathrooms, taking the new needle and note with her, running into the closest one she could find. She slammed the door behind herself, not noticing that Desiree had seen her enter it.
Confessional
"That weird, costumed person looked so familiar...I'm not sure who it was though!" Desiree shrugged and giggled a little bit. "I mean, they were built like somebody that I know, but I can't quite put my finger on it! Guess there's a whole lot of juicy secrets for me to discover while I'm here!" She continued to giggle, eventually snorting like a pig, covering her mouth right after and blushing brightly.
Confessional End
It had been a good while since the groups had split off, and time was running out for them to grab props. Renee and Lilac were waiting for their teams to come back, both of them getting impatient with how long it was taking them, and how close they were getting to the time limit. Chris glanced down at his watch, soon pulling his megaphone up to his lips to speak into it, only for the teams to arrive, last second. The lot of them panted heavily as they dropped their props in front of their directors, and Chris grinned back at them. "Gotta admit, I love the hustle here." He applauded them for a brief moment. "Your scripts are done, and your props are found, which just leaves the best part of the challenge: making the movie! Ah, but first, we should probably introduce the interns that'll be filming for you!"
Chris clapped his hands together loudly, signalling two girls to come down from the stairs. The one on the left was average height, being thin, though still healthy, with bronze-toned skin. Her eyes were green and, paired with the smile on her lips, it was easy to see that she was a bit more excited than she probably should be. Her hair was black and curly, going down past her shoulders. She wore a red Hawaiian shirt with green flowers on it, black shorts that stopped right above her knees, and tan sandals. "Heeeeeeeeere's Annie!" She pulled out a prop ax from behind her back and pretended to chop down a door with it, only for crickets to echo around the room. "Oh, come on! That was a great reference!"
The girl next to her whistled awkwardly after that performance. She was just a little bit taller than the first, and she had a very light tan to her white skin. She was built like a twig, with no noticeable bust and small hips; it was almost concerning. Her eyes were hazel in color, and they seemed to be fixated on her phone, which she was playing a game of some sort on. Her hair was dyed light blue, done in a low ponytail that went just past her neck, with her bangs swept to cover her right eye. She had on a dark blue hoodie, one which was unzipped to reveal a white tee with black lettering that spelled "SUS" on it, tan cargo shorts which left a lot of room for her scrawny legs, a black belt that held them up, and dark blue running shoes. "I dunno, I think that reference was kinda sus." She giggled at her own remark, though, still, nobody else laughed.
The two stood next to Chris, who could only rub his brow in annoyance after hearing what they had said. "Ugh, that was...come on guys, you couldn't have done any better for your big introductions?" They both looked down at the floor sadly, though the phone-addicted girl seemed to still be playing her game, even without looking. "Well, anyways, meet the interns, everyone! Anne Banovic and Susan Venta!" Anne, the curly-haired girl, waved at the teams with a big grin on her face. "Anne, you'll be the camerawoman for the Freakish Frogs! Have fun with 'em!" Chris gestured to the team, and she happily skipped on over to them. "And Susan- oh, I forgot...you like being called Suzie, right? You'll be in charge of the camera for the Psychotic Seagulls!" He gestured to the other team, and she walked over while still focused on her phone.
"You guys have got another thirty minutes to film your movie and get it ready for the silver screen room, where Chef and I will watch them, and judge them based on how scary they are. Whichever team gets a better scare-factor score will be the winners of the challenge, and will not have to send an inmate home tonight! Sound good?" He didn't wait for them to answer before he continued on. "Great! Now, get to work! And good luck with the interns...they're the most annoying ones we got!"
Confessional
"Hey, I'm not annoying!" Anne crossed her arms, seeming to be pretty hurt by the comment...until she grinned at the camera. "I'm Anne-oying!" She slapped her knee and let out an obnoxious laugh.
Suzie was still so focused on her game, and the colors from the screen were flashing on her face. Eventually, a flash of bright green showed, and she raised her arms victoriously. "Woohoo, take that, scrub!" She then realized she was in the confessional still, and blushed as she tucked her phone into her pocket. "I can't really take a vacation from my games, you know. Can't afford to lose my number one placement! XxTheExtremeImposterxX falls to nobody!"
Confessional End
Lilac eyed her team over, tapping a pen to her lip as she looked at each one. She would glance from person, to script, back to person, back to script, trying to figure out who would make sense in what role. "Hmm...for this slasher, we'll have to pick the parts wisely. And I really mean who the killer will be. Everyone else is just gonna get whacked, anyways. So, I'm thinking...Richard. You're going to be the killer."
Richard smirked back at Lilac and cracked his knuckles. "Looks like I'm getting the lead role. I take it you're finally starting to fall for my charm, right?"
"Pfft, don't kid yourself. I picked you because you have this lifeless stare in your eyes, makes you look great as a psychopath. As far as our other roles go...we really can't give many lines to Honey, she'll forget them constantly, and Henry...well, you won't even be able to read them without stuttering. You two will be the first victims, you each have one line and then you're done."
Honey raised her arms victoriously and squealed with glee. "Yes, I get to be a victim! Woohoo! Isn't this so exciting, Henry?" She turned to face the boy, who blushed and looked away as she looked down at him.
"That just leaves two more roles." Lilac glanced back and forth between Rex and Carmen, trying to figure out what would fit the best for them. "Rex, can you take your hat, gloves, and shoes off?"
"W-what? They're a part of me, I can't just take them off!" He looked almost offended by the request. Lilac shook her head and sighed at him. "I-if I have to take them off, for your sake, we'd better win this thing!"
"Oh, we will." The director smirked as she looked back down at her script. "There is no way in hell that those chumps on the other team could top this baby. Just take the stuff off so I can figure out what you're gonna be doing, alright?"
"Fine...but I'm not happy about it!" He sighed as he pulled his gloves off and set them down gently on the ground. He then pulled his feet out of his dinosaur shoes, revealing that he was wearing red sneakers underneath them. Finally, he pulled his hat off, which messed up his hair a bit. He patted it down to fix it up and sighed again. "I feel naked like this…"
"You know...I think you should be the main protagonist!" Lilac grinned at him, some of the other members of the team looking a bit shocked. "You've got a good frame for it...yeah, I think you could do a damn good job! Carmen, you're gonna be the police officer who helps the protagonist try to catch the killer. Everybody clear on their roles?" Lilac's teammates slowly nodded at her, though, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that Suzie was raising her hand up high. "...What?"
"So, since Richard is the killer, that would make him pretty sus, right?" She grinned a bit, only for Lilac to throw a can of soup at her head and knock her to the ground. "Ugh...my base has been raided…"
Confessional
"Being the lead in this movie isn't really something I would've thought about doing before...I'm kinda used to being in the background of things like this." Rex was blushing from the embarrassment of having his dinosaur equipment removed from him. He really did feel out of his element, and it showed. "But Lilac seems pretty smart with this whole movie thing, so I guess I should trust her judgement."
Confessional End
Renee was standing in front of her small group, rubbing her chin with her palm before smiling a bit. "Okay...for our movie...heh, I know exactly where to go with this!" She smirked more and more, getting an annoyed look from George, perhaps that was exactly what she was looking for. He stepped back upon her pointing at him, "George, you and Mitsuki will play the main couple!"
"What!?" George looked shocked and disgusted, before turning to Mitsuki and seeing she was in her own little world. She was trying to keep back some drool as she considered some…more R rated movies and what the teen couple almost always got up to before the action.
"Looks like she's into it!" Renee taunted before turning to the two thieves, "And you two will be playing the killer monsters! Arin, Desiree, you two will get to play the friends. You can make out like George and Mitsuki, but that's up to you."
"Oh, no, I'm straight!" Desiree smiled innocently before glancing over at Arin, "But, if I wasn't, I would totally make out with Arin! I mean, look at her, she's a total catch! Like, hubba hubba, am I right, guys?" She snickered a bit as she spanked Arin suddenly, causing her to blush while the rest of their team grinned at her. "But what do the friends have to do during the movie? Are we just gonna get eaten or something? With all our guts spilling all over the place? That would be kinda cool, yeah yeah!"
Renee smiled back at her, "I like your spirit Desiree. And don't worry, there will be a HUGE mess to clean up after. With all the guts around you'd need quite the cleaning product to even deal with half of all the blood!" Conveniently, Anne pulled out a bottle of non-name brand cleaning spray, which she was about to make a joke about until Renee hissed at her. "Brysol products only on this set!" Anne quietly put the bottle down as she quietly slinked back, not wanting her to yell any further at her. The rest of the team got really quiet after hearing her yelling, not a peep coming from even Wane or Wallace. "Everyone clear on the game plan? ...Good!"
Confessional
"Gee, Renee sure can be scary, eh?" Anne smiled awkwardly as she dug around in a pile of props, looking for something that would fit the mood. "I couldn't ever imagine yelling at someone for using a different brand of cleaning product than me!"
Renee had an almost scary, toothy smile on her face as she stared directly into the camera. She didn't blink a single time, it was something one would expect of a complete psychopath. "Only Brysol deserves to be used for such a clean-up job!" She started to chuckle evilly, the laugh getting more and more maniacal over time.
Mitsuki was sitting in the confessional, just using a mirror as she slowly applied lipstick to herself. "Oh, I am going to play the best fake cheerleader in a horror movie ever! Watch out George's lips, Mitsu is coming!"
Confessional End
Chris sat on the sidelines with Chef while the teams worked on their recordings, not paying attention to what they were doing in the slightest. He let out a yawn right in his co-host's face, getting a glare back from him. "You know, I'm just realizing how little we do while the contestants are doing the challenges. I mean, we're the real stars of this show, right? Why do we let them hog up all the screen time? If I were in charge of the studio, I would make us be at the head of every scene!"
Chef shrugged, "The less screen time we get, the less potential lawsuits you get on your head. You should count your blessings now." Chris rolled his eyes at the co-host before looking down at the watch on his wrist.
"You know, it's getting pretty close to time up for these kids and their movies." He chuckled a little bit, nudging Chef with his elbow. "Hey, how much you wanna bet the camerawomen botched the recording on both teams? I mean, Anne probably used it to record herself doing a comedy bit, and Suzie's probably showing everyone her high scores in all her games." He slapped his own knee while he was laughing, and Chef could only let out an annoyed sigh. He pulled the megaphone up to his mouth to speak to the teams. "By the way, you guys have got one more measly minute before it's time to play these babies!"
"One minute!?" Renee panicked from where she was, biting her nails frantically. "Wane, Wallace, eat them faster than that! No monster savors their meals, they just eat them!" Wane groaned before shoveling more and more fake guts into his mouth, glaring over at her all the while. Wallace, on the other hand, just tossed them over his shoulders, pretending he was eating them.
On the other team, Lilac was simply watching her actors perform with a proud grin on her face. She clicked her pen a couple times as she grinned at them, and when one of the actors let out a harrowing scream, she clicked it so hard that it broke, and ink got all over her hands. "And scene!" She clapped her hands together rapidly, "That's what I'm fucking talking about! Ain't no way we're gonna lose this challenge!"
"I'm glad you're so proud of what you've done, because time is officially up!" Chris spoke through his megaphone again, grinning as he saw the worried expression on Renee's face compared to the boastful one on Lilac's. "Now, let's just make our way on over to the silver screen room to play these puppies, shall we?"
Confessional
"Renee was getting really pushy during the whole recording," Wane grumbled to himself as he continued to gulp down more and more fake guts that were left over. "Whatever, at least I got a free snack out of this whole thing. Not really sure what these are made of, but they're pretty damn good!" He chewed a bit of them obnoxiously, his mouth left open as he did. "Kinda tastes like chicken parm."
"I found a whole heap of lamb intestines in the dumpster in the kitchen, earlier." Wallace was frantically scrubbing his hands with sanitizer, trying desperately to get the stench and the stains of the intestines off of them. "I don't know how Wane could stomach these things...dude's stomach must have an iron lining or something."
"So, we didn't get to finish the movie, per se," Renee tapped her fingers together nervously as she spoke, smiling very weakly, "B-but, it's nothing that can't be fixed with some quick editing! I'll just let the other team play their movie first!" She seemed to lose a bit of her nervousness, replacing it with her usual confidence. "Yeah, they'll end up being horrified by our movie!"
Carmen was listening to nice friendly music on her beats, her eyes sunken a little. "Well, Lilac is always a real pain… but if she knows anything it's being scary. I'm gonna have to listen to 'Mr. Blue Sky' for an hour before I get to bed…"
Richard sat in the confessional, coated from head to toe in the soup that Rex had found earlier. He looked pretty annoyed as he wiped a bit of it off of his face. "I know it made for good blood, but we couldn't have found anything less...sticky? I'm gonna be cleaning soup off of myself for the next few weeks!"

McLean Asylum for Deranged Delinquents - Silver Screen Room
The room was quite dark, with the two teams seated in the many movie theater seats, as well as the hosts, who sat in the front row, with the interns right next to them. Lilac stood in the back of the room, putting her movie into the projector as she grinned, knowing just how genius her whole script was. Soon enough, the title flashed on the screen in ominous, black lettering: Inhuman Tendencies. Chef and Chris glanced between each other with skepticism, but soon looked back to watch the film as it started.
The first scene opened up to show Henry and Honey standing in, presumably, a line at the grocery store. Richard was right behind them, his tired eyes staring at them while they were ahead of him in the line. "Oh, man!" Honey snapped her fingers, having remembered something that they had forgotten while they were shopping. "Dear, can you go run and grab the carrots really quick?" Henry nodded back to her, soon dashing out of the line to run and grab them.
Richard could only groan as the two of them held up the line, well, the line that only consisted of them and him, anyway. Suddenly, a voice, noticeably Lilac's, came from an overhead speaker. "Attention customers, the store will be closing in one minute." He groaned again, waiting for Henry to come back to the line. It took some time, but he eventually returned.
"I got them," the boy weakly said to Honey. They paid for their things and started on out of the store, leaving Richard to buy his things. Unfortunately though, when he got up to the cashier, they had a sign set up that said they were closed. He groaned some more, setting his things down and leaving the store. As he went through the doors, he started to walk in one direction, but he stopped when he noticed the two time wasters walking in another direction. He could only stare at them, not moving a muscle as he did.
"I'm a very simple man, I think most would agree with me on that." His voice monologued over the scene as he slowly started to walk towards the two of them. "I work a nine to five job that I always get my work done at. I leave on time, every single day, without fail. Then, I go to the store to get my groceries for the next few days, this happens probably every three days. Today was just a bit...different. I couldn't finish my work on time, there was too much for me to do. Because of this, I got to the grocery store quite late...and now, I don't have what I need for the next few days. But they have what I need...they bought their groceries. A man has to eat, right?"
Richard stopped before the two of them, tapping Henry on the shoulder and getting his attention. As he turned around, Richard swung a glass bottle at his head, knocking him to the ground. Honey let out a bloodcurdling scream before he did the same to her. Over and over, he would smash the bottle against their heads, until it broke, at least. Fake blood splattered all over his face, but his dull expression didn't seem to change one bit. He simply picked the groceries up and started on his merry way back home.
Lilac had moved up to her team in the seats, and was watching as many faces had horrified expressions on them. She nudged Richard, grabbing his attention and giving him a grin and a thumbs up. He blushed a bit and gave her a thumbs up back.
Confessional
"You know, it feels kind of nice to get recognized for doing something to help." Richard smiled as he looked down at his tomato soup-soaked hands. "And...especially from her. I'm glad that she's happy with how the movie turned out. It really was a pretty good script."
Confessional End
It was quite later in the movie, and Carmen and Rex were standing back to back in a dark room, watching each other's backs while they looked for Richard, each with a fake gun in their hand. They couldn't hear a single peep in the room, other than their own breathing. "This guy is one messed up piece of shit," Carmen the cop grumbled to Rex. "Those two innocent people...dead. For what?"
"Your guess is as good as mine," Rex replied, his eyes wandering from side to side to see if he could spot him in the darkness. "I've been his boss for twelve years, and I never once saw this side of him. He was such a great worker, alway busting his ass for the company. I don't know what caused him to-" Rex cut himself off when he heard a thud behind him. He turned around to see Carmen on the ground, a fake knife in her head with fake blood dripping from it. "You bastard!" He fired his gun into the darkness three times, the third shot being followed by a grunt and a thud. Quickly, he rushed on over to see what he had hit, but when he got there, he saw nothing but a little puddle of blood, no noticeable trail.
He shuddered at the thought of this man running free, but at the same time, he was completely alone in the dark here...he needed to leave. He started towards the exit, wiping the sweat from his brow as he opened the door. He walked off into the distance, and Richard's voice came to monologue once more. "I'm a very simple man, though I don't think most would agree with me on that. I had a nine to five job that I used to always get my work done at. I left on time, every single day, except for one. I missed a chance to get my groceries once due to an inconsiderate couple...but they had theirs. I needed it. After all…" Richard stood up behind Rex, a knife in his hand. "...A man has to eat, right?" He thrust it forward, and fake blood coated the camera.
The movie ended there, and Lilac glanced around to see how everyone was reacting. There were mixed faces of horror, even from the two hosts. Chef even looked as if he was going to faint. "T-that really was something, Lilac," Chris muttered up his weak words, "Remind me to never get that far on your bad side...or Richard's, for that matter." He gulped nervously between his words, turning to face Renee. "It's gonna be pretty tough to top that, I hope you've got something good for us."
"O-oh, please!" Renee stood up, trying to hide her current fear behind a wall of confidence. "Our movie is way scarier than that snoozefest! Just wait, you'll see!" She started off towards the back, and Lilac could only chuckle as she patted Richard on the back.
"You play a damn good killer, dude!" She beamed, causing him to blush again, his face both red with fake blood and his blush. "I wrote the thing, and even I almost got a bit scared when you were doing all that killing!"
"Th-thanks Lilac- oh, wait a minute," Richard scratched his chin for a moment, "You said you prefer to be called Mara, right?"
Lilac was a bit taken aback by him mentioning that. "Well, yeah...I honestly didn't think anyone was paying attention to that. I figured everyone was just gonna ignore it and keep calling me Lilac...you know, out of spite, or whatever."
"I just thought about it, and realized that I wasn't doing that. But I'll call you that from now on! I-if you want…" She grinned at him and patted him on the back some more, causing him to smile at her. Meanwhile, in the back of the room, Renee was currently fumbling around with her disc, trying to get it into the projector. She eventually did, and the title flashed up on the screen: Monster Madness.
Anne sighed as she saw the title, shaking her head disappointedly. "Come on now, that's even cheesier than any of my jokes!" Chris soon shushed her with his finger while the movie started to play. George and Mitsuki stood next to each other, the former staring at the latter in disgust while he saw the overachieving makeup job she did on herself. She leaned up to try and kiss him while he pushed her back with the palm of his hand, clearly not into his character at all.
Suddenly, Wane and Wallace leapt into the scene, dressed up as monsters. As they were about to pounce on the screaming duo, the screen suddenly cut to show Renee with some mop in her hands. Chris and Chef looked over at each other in confusion, looking back to see that Renee's team didn't even have a clue as to what was going on. "Man, those monsters sure are making a mess there, aren't they?" The screen cut back for a moment to show Wane shoveling fake guts into his maw before cutting back to her with her mop. "Luckily, Brysol has just the thing to clean up these major messes! Introducing, the brand new Master Mop! Just one swipe with this mop, and-" The screen cut to show a mess on the ground, which she mopped up easily. "There's no more mess! Be it the guts of a young couple, or of best friends!"
The screen cut to show Desiree and Arin playing dead on the ground, with Wallace and Wane eating their "guts." Soon enough, it cut back to Renee with her mop, showing that she was cleaning up even more mess. "Just be careful, if you stare too much at the Master Mop, your eyeballs will pop out of your skulls!' She started to laugh maniacally as the screen cut back to Wane and Wallace, the former of which ate the camera. The movie ended quickly, and the room was dead silent...until Renee rushed over to George and slapped him upside the head. "What was that!? You were supposed to make out with Mitsuki for added effect!"
"There was no way I was gonna do that!" George stood up and glared at her. "Besides, I don't see why you're getting so upset with me, when you were the one who added...all of that! Why the hell were you doing an ad for a mop in the middle of the movie!? That's not scary in the slightest!"
"Oh, please, you don't know anything about scary movies! That was a damn good addition! The line about the eyeballs and the skull was super scary!" The two of them bashed heads while their team observed them. Mitsuki was currently just lowering her head thinking about what could have been. Lilac giggled from her seat, knowing that she did way better than they did.
"Ahem," Chris stood from his own seat and walked on over to the two of them, shaking his head at them. "Sorry to interrupt this lovely little conversation, but...your team's movie totally stunk! That wasn't even scary during the parts with your monster men! And that means...the winner of this challenge is none other than the Psychotic Seagulls! They really lived up to their name today. So, Frogs, meet me outside at the spooky bonfire to vote somebody out of the game!" While the rest of the team started to leave the room, Renee and George just continued to glare at each other.
Confessional
"The absolute nerve of her to try and blame me for that disaster is ridiculous! I mean, I'm not the one who went and tried to add nonsense to an otherwise okay horror movie!" George crossed his arms angrily, and glared off to the side, noticing a hole in the wall of the confessional.
"Hiiiiiii, George," Mitsuki's voice called from outside of the confessional. George could only groan before poking his finger through the hole and jabbing her in the eye, causing her to squeak in pain.

McLean Asylum for Deranged Delinquents - Bonfire Area
The Frogs gathered around the bonfire, Chris standing at his podium, per the usual. Renee and George were still glaring at each other as they sat down, though Mitsuki was clinging to George's arm, going unnoticed by him entirely. Arin was still studying the needle in her hands, and Desiree was looking at her with a curious gaze. Wane and Wallace sat next to each other, the former chowing down on more intestines while the latter stared at him in disgust. "Well, Frogs, you guys totally botched this one, there's no doubt about that!" He gestured to his six bags of peanuts. "Here, I have six bags of nuts, the symbol of ultimate nuttiness, which means you get to stick around a bit longer! You've all voted to boot off one sorry lunatic, and that one lunatic will have to take a walk on over to the lame-o-sine, which'll take them out of here for good! And they can never, ever, come back! Capeesh? As far as who's safe tonight...Arin!"
Chris tossed a bag of nuts over to Arin, knocking the needle out of her hand and causing her to gasp. She got up and rushed over to find it, making Desiree question her even more. "Desiree...Mitsuki…" Chris tossed two more bags of nuts out to the girls.
Desiree caught hers and started to chow down on them while Mitsuki dodged hers to to keep on clutching on to George. "M-my George…" she mumbled the words as she did, though he still didn't notice her there, being too wrapped up in how angry he was at Renee.
"And, of course, the 'amazing' monsters from the movie, Wane, Wallace, you guys are safe!" Wane caught his bag right in his mouth, swallowing it whole while Wallace just pocketed his, per usual. Suddenly, Renee and George realized that they were at the bottom of the list, and both shifted their glances to Chris. "George, you were totally out of character in the movie, and it kind of killed what little mood it had. And Renee, well, you're the reason there was practically no mood whatsoever! With that being said, the last bag of nuts goes to…"

"...George!"
Chris tossed the final bag of nuts to the boy, who sighed in relief, while Mitsuki seemed to be far more excited about this than he was. "Yes, that's what I'm talking about!" Her shouts caught his attention, finally, and he noticed her clinging on to him. He gritted his teeth and shook her off of him while Renee stood from her seat, outraged.
"This is obnoxious!" The spokeswoman turned to face her team, her face painted with rage. She pointed her finger right at George's face. "You're the reason this project flopped! It was you, not me! I had the experience we needed, I knew what I was doing, you just refused to play your part!" She turned away from him in a huff, stomping on over to the lame-o-sine while her team watched her. "You guys are going to regret keeping him over me!" She shook her fist back at them before she entered it, soon being taken away from the sight.
"I thought we were never gonna hear the end of that!" Chris chuckled and shook his head. "Well, folks, there ya have it! It turns out that experience means nothing if all you care about is cleaning products. The teams are back to being tied with members, for better or for worse. Who will be the next to lose a member? Find out next time on Total Drama Nuthouse!"
