The peace and quiet didn't last long, just the next day Lucy was home from work and visiting her mother . The house was oddly warm, her fingers pushing all the lights walking to her room taking off the jacket slowly
it was dusk, the sun going down and the favorite time of the day for her right after a busy day before the overwhelming darkness was taking its turn
right as she opened the door, she paused when the room was already dark and the warmth of the house increasing a bit as she caught the figure sitting on the bed eyes locking and she rushed in throwing her bag and coat on the floor to stand before her owner
"Master..." the call slipped out her lips, so easily it surprised both of them, more to Lucy.
"well, I need you to come with me this evening to a family dinner. All sins have to bring a soul with them and I think it's time you meet my father too"
Lucy couldn't help but be confused, her brows knitting together "why me?"
Natsu shrugged "My dad requested you out of all my soul's. you should feel lucky"
Lucy wanted to speak up but the room was already heating up, her head became heavy and vision blurring. she quickly shut her eyes as the air continued to get warmer
when she peaked her eye open, she recognized the room she stood in. The demon's bedroom, but it didn't look quite the same, the bed was torn apart as if he had just slept in and kicked the blankets around.
The pillows weren't organized or propped up at all, almost hanging off the bed like someone just used it. Lucy looked at Natsu who had his eyes locked on the bed as well
"Ignore the mess" so she did, and as Natsu snapped his fingers a door she never saw in the room before appearing and opening
her eyes widen, as women with dark hair scurrying in with a rack of clothing most dark colors or black. she could hardly see their faces, they all kept their heads down and didn't dare to look up
"Dress her, not too nice. You know how I feel about that" The one who stood closer to the rack nodded, Natsu walked into the bathroom shutting the door and leaving her with the mysterious women
as soon as the water turned on, the people before Lucy all visibly relaxed, their heads stretched up. They were all pretty, quite beautiful with facial structure and porcelain skin
"Mavis, Jenny. You'd think you had to shit...you gotta atleast answer Sir Natsu back" one of them spoke up, stretching her neck and massaging her shoulders
The irritated woman closet to Lucy merely smiled and moved on from the situation "Sorry, anyway...anything catching your eye?" she asked referring to the clothing
Lucy just shrugged, not too interested in the clothing. She wanted to look good but she didn't care if someone else or she picked it out
The mortal quickly turned around and grabbed the first article she touched, a lace sequin dress with deep V neck front and back; it was quite transparent if not for the sequin designs
Lucy couldn't lie and say it wasn't a beautiful piece but it wasn't her style, not in the slightest. But wanting to save the three very annoyed people given the task to dress her, she nodded
Just moments later, she was ushered to put on the clothing that fit perfectly. Lucy smiled and twirled, the ends of the dress draped long behind her
"what jewelery with it?" Lucy's voice was hushed and quiet as she spoke to the strangers but mostly the woman who stood closed to her named Jenny
"Give her the ruby, nothing else and leave" Natsu stood at the door of the bathroom, his voice booming "You're not needed anymore"
The three bickering people handed her a box, before quietly immediately. Lucy's once confident smile disappeared, when one of them locked their eyes with her, pleading almost for a moment. she didn't know what to do or say
"Y-yes sir" being the only answer Jenny gave. without another word, the three shuffled out of the room, Lucy slowly moving over to Natsu
Natsu was back to being dressed in silks, the top hiding his tan skin and the usual leather pants. D looked great, his hair styled and clothed.
"Put that on, and stop staring. Hurry" Natsu spoke, his eyes a red mess much different from the usual black ones
Lucy quickly, took the long chain out of the box fumbling with the lock of it as her hands raises higher, she craned her neck for better access.
better access for the demon to get a priceless sight too. the dress hug her right, her log legs or the thin waist to the bust which was almost falling out. Nonetheless, he could hear his father summoning him and his mind. over and over
They had to be late
"Come on" Natsu walked over to the door on the end, his hand twisting the black curve handle and opening the door wide for Lucy. With a deep breath, she made his way through the place with Natsu by her side
As they rushed through the dimlit halls, the candle light being her only source of light for her to not trip and fall over the high heels and long dress, even with Natsu's hand on her shoulder
At first she thought the other was simply possessive, as always but when she felt his lips press on her ear, lighting a fire within her that she didn't know could burn so easily. Chills ran over her body before Natsu could even open his mouth
"Don't you dare flirt with others like that down here with me. I saw how the way you looked at that servant and the way she looked at you. I won't stand for it next time and will kill, understand?"
Another kiss was pressed to her skin, pushing goosebumps over her skin, she wanted to speak up and tell him, she wasn't flirting or meaning any look but with one more turn, they came face to face with a large door that was pushed open open reveal many faces
The two stood in the door way, Lucy's eyes running wild around the room before landing on the dark, blood red carpet below her feet. She shook with nerves, especially after the conversation she had with Natsu or atleast one sided conversation.
her heart was beating a mile per minute, working Lucy that Natsu or the other people in the room might hear when she looked at the Sins and Souls with the all powerful Demon Zeref in the center
"well, there he is. After fucking forever" A familiar voice spoke up, making Lucy look up just enough to see him, Sting.
A hand wrapped around her wrist, pulling her in the direction of the two empty seats of the long grand table. some eyes followed the pair others turning away and minding their business But one set of eyes burned at them
Clicking of glasses pulled Lucy's attention, finally landing on the man of the house. He sat the end, black hair styled eyes overwhelming , black button up the velvet shawl like clothing styled.
"Attention!" his voice deep and not nearly as scary as Lucy has expected him to sound but held the superiority and it was terrifying. her hand shook as she tried her best to keep her eyes from wandering the table
He spoke about dinner, some events of the palace and asked his sins to introduce themselves. She couldn't help but notice how half of them were uninterested
The first demon put down her glass of dark drink on the table, sighing, her blue hair was the same her eyes almost the royal blue of eathlands flags s she spoke "Hello, I'm Wendy.." she picked her souls hand and placed it on the table "My soul"
Zeref cleared his throat, flashing her a look nobody would want to be on the recieveing end of.
"I'm Wendy the sin of wrath, and this is my soul" she re did her statement, standing up making the sound stand up with her
The next sin had black hair, longer than the first sin and he was Buffy and tall, taller than Natsu.
"Hello...I'm Gajeel, the sin of Gluttony and my soul"
His eyes never left the table, he didn't show any care for the soul too. She could hear Natsu scoff, crossing his arms over his chest as he couldn't believe Gajeel was treating another soul like this at a family dinner
"That's it?" Zeref asked confused
"I'm just here for food" Gajeel rolled his eyes sitting back down offering a sorry smile to the high demon
The table moved on, other sins introducing and when it was the only familiar person Lucy knew, his bright blond hair standing out under the light that shined.
"I'm Sting, the sin of Pride and This is one of my many souls" A short smirk and chuckle fell him his lips as he looked over to the soul beside him. Their clothing was nowhere near as nice as Sting's but it was dressed smartly
There were more, not just sins but other demon's with them and Lucy couldn't do anything but try to calm her breathing and heart steadying her hands and relaxing her shoulder. It was slowly creeping her how real the world of Hell with demon and lost souls was . Sooner she'd like they were to the last sin. Lucy's sin.
Natsu noticed how his soul was shaking with fear, a hand resting her thigh under the table for a moment before removing it.
It's not my place to comfort souls, don't do something out of the ordinary
Natsu cleared his throat, before speaking drawing the attention of the room
"I'm Natsu, the sin of Lust and this is my soul, Lucyㅡ" He stopped immediately, realizing he spoke the souls name. The room was so unbelievable quiet, all of then smartly dressed sin's and soul's eyes on Natsu and the small mortal beside him
There was a smirk from the blue haired sin, finally finding the interest of night. Sting nodding his head in finally winning the bet with the cursing balck haired sin who dropped his food on his plate
As Natsu closed his mouth, the man at the head of the table started to speak. Lucy and Natsu weren't paying attention anymore, too caught up in their own thoughts
Soon enough, servants dressed like the one who brought her clothes filed in with trays of food. Lucy's stomach twisted at the sight, nervousness controlling her. She wanted to have more of an appetite but she couldn't work it up
and for the first time, a shiver ran down her spine. goosebumps rising, followed by her nipples hardening. It was no secret if anyone has been watching him, the transparent strap didn't cancel anything but Natsu was watching her
As others began to dig in, Natsu stood up abruptly. The screeching of the chair on the floor echoing in the room, ripping Lucy from her mind. Her eyes flickered up, locking eyes with a fiery ones
"My soul and I will be making our exit. I have plans" and with that a hands wrapped around her upper arm that yanked up to a standing position, before dragging her from the grand dinning hall filled with Zeref and his sins and their souls
Outside the dinning room was quiet, it was everything Lucy thought about while she sat at the table; silence space to breathe, no wandering eyes and nobody to look down upon her. Beside well, Natsu. But Lucy would take the punishment from him before any of the other evil entities in the room would
They made twists and turns into the massive palace that held a roof that was infinite, Natsu pushed a door, being met with the familiar scene of his bedroom. He let Lucy enter first and then releasing her arm as he watched her enter slowly
Once inside the bedroom, the door clicked shut. Lucy turned around facing the demon before her, Her eyes were half lidded and filled with tears, cheeks tinted pink and flushed with color as sweat built up his forehead
Natsu didn't know what to do or say, it was shocking
"I'm so sorry, if I ruㅡno, i did ruin it for you. I was trying hard to act normal but I was so nervous Iㅡ" Lucy began to ramble, her hands floating though the air as she used to express
Natsu nodded along, before sighing "We left because I actually do have plans" Lucy froze immediately, her eyes searching the others face
Plans? but he says all the time that he just satisfies himself all day, what could he mean by that?
Lucy wasn't a genius, in fact she didn't pride herself much onto that. but he could piece together this situation together, easy. Natsu planning to see his other souls
Lucy took a step back instinctively, Lucy didn't speak, no words were shared before the room suddenly became cool.
When the room temperature changed, the dizziness or the nausea was back to her, her vision on the pink haired demon blurred and she knew she had to close her eyes
but she kept them open, on her master all the way until the hell disappeared replaced by her own back on earth
