Chapter 2 A Furry Bundle of Chaos

Trivia #2: Catoru is a pure white ragdoll cat with extremely mischievous tendencies and only loves Kuma. He's somewhat fine with Suguru and Shoko but hates Satoru with the whole of his being

After a few more series of questions, Suguru and Satoru had a good grasp on their situation. And at the moment said circumstances were, they are completely doomed. Suguru had a somber expression, lips pressed thin and thinking hard until his head was steaming. While Satoru just stared at him with a blank smile, poking his partner's arm every once in a while as he swayed on his chair.

The cause of all their headache however, was just sitting on the bed with an utterly clueless expression while wondering what the two male were worrying about. Feeling rather bored, Kuma glanced around the room to see if there was anything interesting. Her silvery eyes caught sight of a computer at the corner of the room. She stared at the Special Grade Curse beside her, silently wondering how to get the goddess to disappear and just kept staring as if it would actually work.

To which it actually did though it was more of Amanozako shaking her head and sighing at her creator before wrapping herself around her and fading into a line of black tattoo encircling Kuma's neck. She didn't waste any more time to get off the bed, ignoring how Satoru was curiously staring at her while Suguru was still busy wrecking his mind.

The chair creaked lightly as she sat on it, turning the computer on nonchalantly. She could see that the computer had a password on it, but that's the least of her problems since a few clicks away and she was already cracking away at the security system. Those teachings from all the families she's been with were undoubtedly helpful. Though she was still a little sour that she almost lost her life just because they refused to teach her about whatever this Jujutsu stuff is.

Kuma pursed her lips lightly, tapping her fingers as she pulled up a few empty document templates to the internet and started tinkering around mindlessly. If the documents and legalization were the problem then solving it was easy. She just had to make some fake ones that are flawlessly the same as the originals. She's had plenty of practice after all.

"Say uhh… Gojo Satoru was it? What's the name of your teacher?" She asked, briefly glancing at the white haired male.

He stared at her for a short while in silence, as if peering into her very soul with his Six Eyes. In reply she merely raised an eyebrow at the lack of answer he gave her, fearlessly gazing straight into his eyes as if he was no one important. And Satoru nodded proudly in approval, smirking as he stood up and walked over to her, leaning over her with a hand on her chair and the computer desk.

"You can just call me Satoru. And our teacher's name is Masamichi Yaga." A short hum could be heard from the girl, muttering a small thanks before going back to whatever she was doing. Satoru watched with intrigue behind her, leaving Suguru to his own devices at the other side of the room. Countless tabs were opened on the screen, codes and numbers running amok while Kuma handled them with ease.

And for better or worse, she inquired if they had a printer nearby to which Satoru pointed at a corner of the infirmary and plugged it in for her. Soon enough whatever she had conjured up was printed with furrowed eyebrows as she mumbled about getting other types of paper that she needed later on.

By the time Suguru realized that Satoru wasn't even thinking with him anymore, Kuma had printed the results of her work and gave it to Satoru who marvelled over it. Though the brunette seemed to be exasperated more than anything, didn't they get taught about all this stuff by their teacher? She thought it was the most basic of materials. Well it actually isn't in reality but she didn't need to know that and question what she's been doing her whole life.

Before Suguru could even ask what they were doing, he found himself being dragged by a whistling Satoru. Kuma didn't seem to be faring well either being dragged with Satoru's other hand, but complied nonetheless despite the blatant dislike on her face. Soon enough they arrived at Yaga's office and Satoru practically kicked open the door without any conscience.

And Satoru cut off Yaga before he could say anything, shoving the papers from earlier to his hold before pushing Kuma in front of him and said— "And with that being said, meet your new daughter, Sensei!!!"

Both Suguru and Yaga's gaze whipped over to the frowning girl, all three annoyed with the white haired Sorcerer who was grinning creepily at the turn of events. The poor teacher was stressfully glancing back and forth between the silver eyed girl and the papers in his hand. Disbelief was painted across his face, seeing his own signature and the official legalization stamp on the adoption paper of all things. He's never even met or heard of the girl before.

Satoru only gave the elder man a thumbs up and a beaming grin, leaning playfully on the female brunette anf plopping his head on top of hers. The girl was complacent with it, too lazy to bother warding him off as Satoru spoke. "Then we'll leave the rest to you, Yaga-sensei! Yosh, let's get you settled in the dorms Kuma-chan~"

He was just about to drag the girl to the dorms when Yaga shot up from his seat, fist raised and— promptly bonked the Gojo heir's head without restraint. To which after that Suguru attempted to explain everything properly to Yaga and that led to an impromptu Elders meeting. She nearly got sentenced to be detained and executed immediately if it wasn't for Satoru stepping in, practically abusing his power and standing to prevent it.

In the end it did go smoothly somehow with the collateral promise that she would become a student here and work as a Jujutsu Sorcerer in the future. Though both Satoru and Suguru warned her to be careful since no doubt the Higher Ups will still attempt to assassinate her behind the scenes.

Not to mention they even placed her in an isolated ward, but then again Kuma was rather grateful for that part. Despite the ominous naming, the so-called ward was a whole Japanese mansion in a rather isolated part of the property and there was even a small lake in the area. And the restrictions weren't as daunting as she thought either. The proclaimed strongest duo were long gone, dragged unwillingly by Yaga with screams and whines to their long overdue class.

So here she was, left alone just outside the entrance of her… isolation area for a lack of better words. From the distance she walked to one of the entrances, she could roughly guess that it was about a 700 meter radius. Yaga had told her that there were four entrances leading to the main house, acting as the sealed boundary ready to be activated at any given time. Kuma exhaled lightly as she placed her palm on the Torii gate that was completely wrapped in seals, the words Yaga said to her earlier ringing in her mind.

"The seals on the four Torii gates will activate the moment you show any hostile intentions in your Curse Energy. A barrier will be formed around the radius and only you will be trapped inside while the others can go in and out as they wish. And it won't be lifted unless the Elders or Tengen-sama says so."

Her lips were pressed thin as she squinted at the seal covered pillars, having the urge to just punch it down for good. But that would only cause unnecessary problems so she refrained. It's annoying but she supposed there were worse things that could happen. It was a good call from their side, considering she would just attack anyone the so-called Higher Ups sent to execute her. Though the question was could she do it or not in her state right now.

She wanted- needed to get stronger, and fast. Of course she could set traps both inside and outside the mansion then run outside the area so she could fight freely, but that wasn't guaranteed to work in several ways too. She had a lot of things to mull over, but first things first…

"Are you ready to go, Takefuru-san?"

It's shopping time.

Kuma hummed a random tune as she walked with a skip in her steps, her joyful gaze traveling all over the place. This was after all the first time she's ever gone out for touring purposes. She was just curiously asking about every possible thing at the auxiliary manager who accompanied her under Yaga's orders. There were far too many interesting things that she hadn't known before and she was eager to see all of them. In fact, far too eager that she accidentally ditched the auxiliary manager by going too fast. So here she was, wandering around aimlessly on the streets of Japan. Or at least that was her plan.

Yet she was now standing in front of a certain shop, breath bated as her iridescent gray orbs staring unsurely through the glass window. A pair of cerulean blue eyes gazed back at her, glinting with knowing mischief as it meowed. "They look alike…"

The next thing she knew was the doorbell ringing and she's signed a few needed documents, buying a few necessities for the new addition. And she was already out of the shop again. Except she wasn't empty handed and she had absolutely no idea what just happened. She glanced at the purchase in her hands, sweat dropping at her impulsive actions.

"Well there's nothing I can do about it now…" She shrugged, noting that she certainly used a big chunk of Satoru's credit card that Yaga gave to her. She stood still for a moment, wondering if she should feel guilty before waving off her thoughts. She could just pay him back later. All she needed was a laptop, a little bit of money and time, then she'll be all set. But first she needed to find where that auxiliary manager disappeared to…

A few hours later, Yaga shook his head as Satoru ran out of the classroom as soon as the bell rang. His chair practically flew backwards with the force he used to stand up, and the door was in no better shape since he banged it open. Shoko glanced curiously at the door where her classmate just left, knowing he could be a little hyper at times. But this was the first time he's ever ran out of the classroom in a hurry and she knew for a fact that it wasn't because his favorite cafe released new sweets today.

Suguru had also stood up, a soft look in his onyx eyes as he gazed at the door. "Wanna come with us Shoko? We're gonna meet a new addition to the team."

"At this time? When we're about to graduate?" The brunette asked skeptically.

"Well… I guess technically she hasn't been accepted yet. Not to mention…" Shoko raised an eyebrow as Suguru went silent, unknowing of how he was reminded of the time he gave a small quiz to the girl and needless to say the results weren't satisfactory. He had no doubt that the girl would enroll without a problem, but most likely she'd be placed in the first grade rather than the second grade with them. Of course Satoru had no idea about this otherwise he'd throw a tantrum long ago.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he caught sight of Satoru peeking behind the door with a blank stare, waiting for his two classmates to catch up with him. The two brunettes in the classroom laughed, heading to the door as Suguru told Shoko that he'll explain everything along the way. To which he actually did and Shoko just shot him a look of confusion and disbelief, which isn't surprising anymore at this point.

Well it would be hard to believe if someone suddenly said there's a random girl in a forest who defeated a Special Grace Curse but also made one then she controlled it seemingly without any problem and also had highly condensed Curse Energy. Shoko was quite frankly expecting someone rather scary looking with a menacing glare. But instead the first thing they see when they entered was a pure white fluffy cat with icy glacier orbs with sunglasses on it of all things—

The cat just stared up and down at them smugly, the look in its eyes as if knowing it was the highest being of them all. The puzzled Suguru crouched down, gazing in surprise at the cat lookalike of his best friend. Shoko also did the same albeit standing up, lighting up another cigarette and puffing out the smoke. She was expecting to see a girl instead of a cat, but she won't deny that seeing Satoru glaring down at the white cat and imaginary sparks flying everywhere was no less interesting.

The very same moment Satoru laid his eyes on the sunglasses wearing cat, he was absolutely irked to no end. It was practically a carbon copy of him in a cat version save for the fact that it was somehow even more smug than the original one. The corner of his lips were twitching in annoyance, his sky blue orbs glinting behind the shades of his sunglasses as if he was planning a murder. His hands were fisted and tucked in his pockets, restraining himself from doing anything rash. The cat merely smirked and strutted over to him, circling around once before settling in front of him and scoffing mockingly right at him. I am better than you, it seemingly said it it's gaze.

Suguru and Shoko were barely holding back their laughter as their best friend was belittled by a cat of all things, a cat that looked exactly like him nonetheless. But just as Satoru was about to lunge at the abominable white furrball, it was suddenly picked up by the very person they came to look for. The cat made itself comfortable in its owner's gentle hold, hiding a smirk behind its paws and looking away from Satoru who it just mocked.

Kuma took absolutely no notice of that, a beaming grin on her lips as she patted the cat with an absolutely smitten gaze. "Everyone, meet Catoru."

Satoru had a somewhat disgusted look on his face as he stared at the cat still smirking at him. The universe must be mocking him. As if the appearance wasn't enough now even the cat's name had to be a rip off of him too. He didn't sign up for this when he planned to visit the girl at all.
