Cadence enters the house that Zelda was placed in and was surprised to see her. She had long blonde hair and had a tiara in it. And like Link, she had long pointy ears as well. Trill flew up and saw she was in deep sleep, like Link.

"Come on, Cadence! Let wake them up!" She said.

"Right," Cadence said, taking out the potion.

She opens it and carefully lifts Zelda's head up. Cadence lets her drink about half the potion before setting her back down. She steps back and waiting. Zelda begins to groan before opening her eyes. Trill flew around her, glad to see one of her friends awake.

"Zelda! You're awake!" She said, cheerfully.

"Trill? Where am I?" Zelda asked, confused.

"You're in Kakariko Village. We were able to wake you up." Trill told her.

"We?" Zelda asked before spotting Cadence, who was standing a bit away from her.

"Oh, this is Cadence! She helped me wake you up!" Trill said.

Cadence bows to her, not wanting to make her upset. Zelda climbs out of the bed and looks over her. Cadence remains still as Zelda walks around her. Zelda could feel that this person wasn't from Hyrule. She could also sense that she was once curse but had greatly recovered. Finally, she notices the mark on her right hand, and her eyes widen in surprise.

'The Triforce of Power?! How?!' She thought in shock.

"Um, Princess?" Trill spoke up, making her turned from Cadence.

"You're not the only one that was put to sleep. We still need to wake up Link too." She said.

"Link?" Zelda asked before remembering what happened.

"Yes, Link was hit with that spell too. We must wake him at once!" Zelda said.

"Great! Let go!" Trill said, happily.

Cadence sighs. With Zelda awake, maybe she wasn't needed anymore. She placed the potion on the table and started to head for the door.

"Cadence? Where are you going?" Trill asked.

"One of your friends is awake, and it looks like she can handle herself. I'm going to see if I can find a way back to my world." She said.

However, she was stopped when Zelda placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Cadence, right?" She asked, with Cadence nodding.

"I thank you for waking me up from the spell, but I can tell you're not from Hyrule. Hyrule is dangerous to go alone. Plus, I can see you have a good heart. You don't have to leave. I feel you were summoned to Hyrule to help us." She said.

Cadence was a bit unsure about that. But she could see that Zelda didn't mind her being around. She was not like those princesses she read about in her world.

"Okay. I'll stick around." She said, making Trill hug her cheek.

"I see Trill has gotten real close to you," Zelda smirks.

"Well, she is the first person I meant when I came here." Cadence laughs.

The two walks through the field and soon came to Link's house. Cadence had him drink the rest of the potion and step back. Link groans and opens his eyes. Trill flew up and hugs his cheek.

"Link! You're awake!" She said.

Link blinks before seeing Zelda and a new person with her. Zelda smiles and walks up to him.

"Good morning, sleepyhead. Glad to see you're up." She said, messy up his hair.

Link pouts and tries to fix it. Zelda laughs as she hands Link his long pointy cap. Cadence stood behind the three, wanting to let them have their moment. In fact, just watching them reminded her of her family. She could only hope they were doing alright back in her homeworld.

"Cadence? Are you alright?" Trill asked, seeing her sigh.

Link and Zelda both turned to her as Cadence pulls out a locket and opens it.

"Yeah, I just hope my family is alright. They must be worried sick about me by now." She said.

"Cadence, you mention your father when we first met. I didn't want to say anything but, can you tell us about him?" Trill asked.

Cadence looks at the picture of her parents and smiles.

"My Father, Dorian, was a famous explorer back in my homeworld. He met my mother, Melody, during his travels. They fell in love and soon had me. Sadly, my grandmother, Aria, had passed from an illness that my mother also had. She passed soon after. My father, still grieving over the loss of my mother, sent out to find a way to bring her back, leaving me in the care of my Uncle. However, my father disappear and wasn't heard from in a long time. Against my Uncle's wishes, I set out towards the same crypt my father was last seen. What I didn't know is that someone else was in that crypt, someone that had the power to bring back the dead, The NecroDancer. He took my heart and left me for dead. However, it turns out I was still alive and was cursed to move to the beat of the music. I was traveling through the Crypt when I saw this blight light appear in front of me. Before I knew it, I was falling from the sky. That's when I met Trill, and things went off from there." Cadence explains.

Link, Zelda, and Trill were very shocked to hear Cadence's story. She lost her parents, and her heart was taken from her. And yet, she was still fighting. Trill then remembers something Cadence told her back when they first met.

"You mention you think the Triforce gave you another heart. I saw those shadows stab you in the heart. Maybe, the Triforce knew of your past and wanted to help you survive the trials of our world." She said.

"The Triforce is very mysterious. No one knows how it really works, but it's been part of our world for as long as we can remember." Zelda said.

Link was quiet, but he did feel sorry for Cadence. He knew what it was like to lost both parents.

Cadence looks at the picture of her parents again and smiles. She misses them both but knew she had to stay strong for them. She puts the locket away and looks at them.

"So, why were you two in a deep sleep, anyway?" She asked.

Zelda and Link look at each other and nod. Zelda turn back to Cadence and started to explain.

"A few days ago, my father was visited by a man named Octavo, who seem nice at first and started to play some music for him. However, we didn't know his true goal. He placed my father under a deep sleep and tries to take the Triforce for himself. However, his heart was unbalanced. The Tricfore spit into three, giving me the Triforce of Wisdom and Link, the Triforce of Courage." Zelda said before she and Link held up their right hands.

Cadence notices they had the same marking, but two of the marks were a bit darker than the rest.

"We first believe that Octavo had gotten the Triforce of Power, but now I see he didn't get the full Triforce," Zelda said, walking up to Cadence and lifts her right hand.

Cadence was shocked to see the same marking on her hand only the top was a bit darker.

"It looks as if the Triforce of Power had split itself into two. Half of the power must went to Octavo and the other to you." She said.

Cadence looks at her hand, surprised to see she was carrying a piece of the Triforce.

"So that was the Triforce that help you back in that crypt!" Trill said.

Cadence did remember feeling a boost in power during the fight with her darker self. Did the Triforce really help her? Zelda smiles and lifts Cadence's head back up.

"Link and I were placed under a spell when we try to stop him. And since you woke us up, we have a chance to fight him once again." She said, with Link nodding.

"And I'll help in any way I can! No way gets away putting my friends asleep!" Trill said.

Link nods and smiles.

Cadence couldn't help but smiles back. As much as she wants to find a way back home, she wasn't going to leave them to face this threat by themselves. After all, she did discover that this world had also had the same curse she was under. Someone has to help Link and Zelda deal with beats.

"Count me in," Cadence said, smiling.

And that's all I had planned for this chapter. While working in between stories, I did look up Crypt of the NercoDancer to understand Cadence's backstory a bit. And I would like to thank 1eragon33 for letting me know about Cadence's end of the story. There are about three endings in the game from what I read. And since Cadence of Hyrule doesn't say where in the first game it takes place, I have it take place in between Crypt of the NercoDancer. So Cadence still lost her parents and doesn't have her heart.

One thing I know about Cadence of Hyrule is that you can do any dungeons in any order. I always do them in random order, but to follow the Zelda way, I'll do them in this order. Lost Swamp, Gerudo Ruins, Frozen Grotto, and Temple of Storms. I will have them travel to the dungeons and have Link and Zelda get to know Cadence some more. There's also something else I'm going to add in this story that's not in the game, but I'll save it for later.
