Greetings, people of the internet, welcome to my 2nd Jori fanfic. So, this one takes place a good couple of years after my last one ( don't worry, they're still together). So the other day I was thinking and I thought to myself '' Jade West…and Halloween!'' So, now that I've bored you unintentionally, please enjoy the story!

'' Damn those stupid NETFLIX people!'' Jade grumbled, storming into her home, slamming her purse onto the kitchen island and letting out an ear-splitting scream as she put her head between her hands.

'' Jesus, Jade! What's wrong?'' Tori winced, coming down the stairs, and approaching her partner.

'' Brett…Mitchells'' Jade gritted through her teeth and lifting her head.

'' Who?'' Tori raised an eyebrow as she sat down next to her wife.

Jade sighed. '' Remember a few months ago I signed a deal with NETFLIX for six standup specials?''

'' Yeah. You said it was a chance for you to show the world that you could be the next Joan Rivers.''

'' Well, the asshole that approves all standup specials is called Brett Mitchells turns out he thought I was too controversial and offensive for his liking'' Jade rolled her eyes as she got up for her nightly scotch.

'' Fuck him, I'm calling Beck'' Tori whipped out her phone and scrolled through her contacts.

'' No'' Jade said sighing. '' This was bound to happen. Besides, I already started a rumor on Twitter that he snorted cocaine in the executive bathroom'' Jade smirked, showing Tori her phone.

'' Jade!''

'' Haha. Nice to know I can still get a rise out of you 8 years later'' Jade mocked, doing her Tori impression.

'' Meanie'' Tori playfully pouted.

'' I'm not that mean'' Jade wrapped her arms around Tori.

'' Oh, aren't you'' Tori smirked sultrily.

'' Why don't I show you?'' Jade smiled, pulling Tori out of her chair and practically dragging her to their bedroom.

One hour later

'' That…was…awesome'' Tori panted, clearly out of breath, as she and Jade lay in their bed.

'' The sex?'' Jade asked.

'' No, the tuna melt I had for lunch.''

Jade giggled. '' Ah, you make this too easy sometimes.''

Tori rolled her eyes and turned to her left side. '' So listen, I was thinking, what about Halloween, it's on Thursday.''

'' Your point?"

'' Well, what're we doing for it? Its our first Halloween as wife and wife. We should do something special for it don't you think?''

'' Like what? Shouldn't we just hand out a bunch of Reese's peanut butter cups and some butterfingers to kids?''

'' No'' Tori sat up. '' We should do something different, maybe a party, a dinner, a haunter house-

'' Stop. A haunted house?'' Jade grinned.

'' Well, no, I mean where can we get the supplies in less than 5 days-

'' I know a guy'' Jade interrupted. She then leaped out of bed, quickly threw on

a shirt, jeans, boots and her favorite jacket.

'' Why're you so dressed up?''

'' Its my lucky outfit. If you'll excuse me, I have some planning to do'' Jade sauntered over to her laptop.

It had been two days since Tori brought up the idea of doing something special for Halloween. As it turned out, Jade had gone all out with her plan. She had decided to keep costs low and use their house as the venue. The only problem was convincing Tori.

Right now, Jade was busy cooking dinner with Tori sitting on one of the kitchen chairs behind her.

'' You've got to be kidding me'' Tori looked at Jade, horrified.

'' About what?''

'' This. Blood pools, scream halls, dismembered body parts, we may have the LAPD on our asses'' Tori answered, putting the wad of paper Jade had given her down on the top.

'' Oh, c'mon Tori. It's awesome. We're the only gay couple here, might as well establish a rep for ourselves.''

'' Yes. Were the only gay couple here. We just moved here a month ago. I don't want to be known as the psychos who gave innocent kids heart attacks.''

'' We won't. Look, the stuff I organized is completely fake, its just expertly done. It'll be completely PG13 too.''

Tori squinted, lowering her glasses for added intimidation purposes.'' Mm, I don't believe you.''

'' You do remember that I'm 100% honest right?''

'' I do. But I know when you're keeping something from me West. Spill it.''

Jade sighed. '' Fine. I may have hired someone.''

'' For what?''

'' To imitate a person who'd be wearing a hockey mask and carrying a rusty chainsaw.''

'' Jade!''

'' Oh, come on. I wore an angel costume for Valentine's Day. Let me have this'' Jade whined.

Tori laughed. ''You must think I'm the most easily convinced person ever.''

'' Eh, you're up there, that's for damn sure.''

'' Hey!''

'' Kidding Vega. But seriously why won't you let me do this?''

'' Because…memories.''

'' Of?''

Tori sighed. '' Can you keep a secret?''

'' Kept a pretty big one since the sixth grade, so…''

'' It was way back when I was six and Trina was eight. Our Mom had taken us to a haunted house in Pasadena. When we got there, I was scared but Trina stuck with me as we went in. We split up soon after and I was cornered by a clown. He had this big gash on his face and his teeth were carved into points. He grinned at me showing his teeth and asked me my name.

I screamed for help, but no one heard me, eventually one of the teenagers in charge of it, let me out and the clown got fired. I've been terrified of haunted houses ever since.''

'' Aww, baby'' Jade moved away from the stove to console her wife. '' What if we compromise?''

'' How's that?''

'' I don't do the house here.''

'' Where would you do it then?''

'' The Blackbox theater at Hollywood Arts.''

'' Would Helen even let you?''

'' Oh, she would. And if she didn't then I'd remind her that I carry special scissors on me at times.''

'' Jade!''

'' A joke…maybe.''

The big day arrived sooner than expected. As per the compromise, Jade had brought the entire crew from her last play to Hollywood Arts.

Surprisingly, Helen hadn't objected even slightly to Jade's usage of the Blackbox theater, so long as no actual blood and body parts were used.

Right now, Jade had recently just arrived at Hollywood Arts, eager to see how her '' Haunted house'' was going along.

As she wasn't that big on manual labor, she had hired the crew that was used for all high budget plays in LA to set up for her. It wasn't an easy feat to accomplish, but as it turned out, the owner; Donny Rand had seen her latest performance and had become a huge fan of hers.

Walking into the Blackbox, Jade saw what she could only describe as a construction zone. Multiple workers using power tools to setup the venue.

'' Alright. You, guy with the scar on his cheek, we need that corpse to decorate the entrance, remember people, we need to freak people out.''

The aforementioned worker dragged the severed mannequin that would be serving as the '' corpse '' to the entrance. Per a previous request by Jade, steel wiring was hung from the ceiling to make it seem as if the corpse had been hung.

A larger man in a red flannel shirt, skinny black jeans and construction boots, approached the young goth. '' Mrs. West I'm just checking that we got the blood recipe, correct?''

Jade took a piece of paper that the man had in his hand. '' corn syrup, vodka, cranberry juice, black food coloring, yep, perfect. Thanks Donny.''

'' My pleasure. Working with the playwright/comic Jade West is a dream come true- hey! Cheek scar, those skeletons need to look dusty and old, Gd! Why did I hire you?!''

Jade smirked. '' Alright Donny, how does the hallway look so far?''

'' Didn't you see when you walked in?''

'' No. I used the back entrance. So...show me'' Jade rubbed her hands together.

'' I think you'll like it'' Donny smiled as he led Jade out into the hallway.

Jade couldn't believe her eyes. It was as if Donny had entered her head and pulled out her ideal vision.

Throughout the hallway, there were large, realistic looking spiders ( goliath bird eaters since they were terrifyingly huge.) They were randomly scattered so as not to make any guests seem suspicious.

Of course, fake webs had been set up as well. They were massive, by Jade's estimate, they were at least a meter in diameter, and they were everywhere.

The lighting had also been dimmed, to add age to the school. Donny had also used a 24-hour lasting glue to stick amputated hands onto the lockers and doors.

'' Pardon me Mr. Rand, we have the blood ready'' said one of the workers, he was carrying a large bucket of fake blood in one hand. In the other, he held multiple paintbrushes.

Donny and Jade turned around. '' Perfect, but uhm, what's with the paintbrushes?'' Jade asked.

'' Ah, I got this one. You see madam, we knew you'd want to apply it yourself, so we brought in a whole bunch of paintbrushes for you to dip into the liquid and splatter it all over the area.''

Jade grinned an evil grin. '' What about the guy in a hockey mask?''

'' All taken care of, Beck!'' Donny yelled.

A familiar face emerged from around the corner. He was wearing a white shirt with mysterious stains, blue dungarees, faded brown boots and for added measure, he wore a white contact in one eye. Atop his head was a faded hockey mask and in his hand was a rubber-bladed chainsaw.

'' Beck? What're you doing here?'' Jade asked, slightly confused.

'' Donny's my dad's best friend, so when he told me he needed an actor, I took the chance. Also, nice to see you too.''

'' Sorry, how're you, eh?''

'' I'm good. Haven't seen you since you and Tori got married a month ago.''

'' Yeah, sorry about that. Oh by the way, how's Trina?''

'' Crazy as always'' Beck breathed. '' But I love her.''

'' Good for you. So, you ready for tonight?''

'' Oh yeah. I watched some old horror flicks to get into character'' Beck lowered his mask. '' Let's get rippy'' Beck said, in a scary Canadian voice.

'' Ok great, but you may be scaring little kids.''

'' I know, but I need the experience in this field so…''

Jade rolled her eyes. '' Alright, just don't be surprised if some Karens yell at you.''

That night, a large amount of new Hollywood Arts kids arrived at the house.

Some were students of Sikowitz's, eager to expand their acting horizons. Others were local kids who thought they were tough enough to handle a Jade West-level horror fest.

Jade had changed from her original outfit, into a zombie bride. Somehow, she had convinced Tori to go as a zombie bride as well, but was most convincing was that Tori had come along at all, even though it was only for an hour.

'' Look at all these kids, remind you of anything?''

'' Innocence about to be eradicated?''

'' No! Us. Remember senior Prome?''

Jade wrapped her arm around Tori. '' How could I forget. We did some…interesting stuff that night.''

'' Yeah. Nothing ruins a mood more than your mom walking in to pack your laundry.''

'' Hehe. Ooh look our first victim'' Jade said excitedly, however, the smile faded as soon as she saw the child. Based on his face and obvious lack of acne or pronounced facial features, the child must have been about 6 or 7.

'' Uhm, little guy, I think you might be a bit too little for this'' Jade said, bending to his level.

'' Nuh uh, I'm this many'' the child showed his fingers to Jade. The young woman then looked at the adult next to the child. '' Uhm, sir, you may want to just go trick or treating with this guy. My haunted house is a bit to terrifying.''

The man scoffed. '' Pfft, my Tommy's as tough as nails. He can handle some amateur's pathetic attempt at a haunted house.''

Jade gritted her teeth. Next to the word panties, being called an amateur was one of her most hated things. Swallowing her anger, she smiled. '' Alright runt. Go through those doors.''

As the child entered, Tori tapped her wife on the shoulder. '' Uhm, babe, I'm all for you expressing your creativity, but this might be too much.''

'' Oh please, he'll be fine. Also, you should get home. If one of us isn't at the house then those kids won't get their candy.''

Tori smirked, she knew when Jade was trying to get rid of her. '' Fine. Just don't be too mean 'kay?''

'' We'll see'' Jade smirked as she watched the child enter, without adult supervision.

As Tommy entered, he was greeted with the sound of creaking and a plastic spider dropping from the ceiling, making him feel nothing. He continued forward.

Jade, who had been watching him was astonished. Even she was a little scared of her creation. Yet this kid had a huge spider drop on him and he felt nothing.

As Tommy moved forward, he tripped over one of the spiders, landing himself on two of the hands, this time yelling in fright.

Wriggling free, the young boy hesitantly moved forward only to be ambushed by Beck in his outfit, his blade loud as the thunder.

'' Raah! Its ripping time!'' he roared, as he chased after the child.

'' Aah!'' Tommy yelled, his arms flailing as he ran into to Blackbox theater.

'' You can run but you can't hide!'' Beck said, intentionally going past the theater's entrance.

Tommy breathed, his heart racing. He looked in front of him, the walls painted in dark splatters, a '' corpse '' hung next to him, frightening him forward.

'' Yarr!'' came a sound from a nearby speaker.

Tommy screamed, as he ran back the way he came, bursting out of the doors of Hollywood Arts and running to his father.

Jade however just spoke five words to the father, who was glaring at her whilst his son held his father's legs tightly.

'' No-one beats Jade West.''

Ah Jade, so evil. Thanks for reading everyone. I know its not even October yet, but when inspiration strikes, I have to act on it. Anyway please favorite and review. Also this is now a one-shot collection! Not sure if I'll be updating it regularly though.

As usual Dravenites, stay safe, and stay awesome!
