Finding Ventus and Aqua was a great success done by Sora, his half-pints, King Mickey, and Riku. But most thanks goes to Sora when he answered a desperate call from his friends and he guided Aqua to Ventus. They now had their seven guardians of light.

It seemed to be all going according to plan as Master Yen Sid has predicted. They all soon grouped up at his mysterious tower for a fully scheduled meeting on what to do next in their time on stopping Xehanort.

Everyone was happily gathered in front of Master Yen Sid's desk and was listening to his instructions. Everyone seems to be fine. However, something was bothering Sora.

A feeling of worry was manifesting in his chest. It wasn't strong but it was noticeable. Why was he so worried? Was it because the fight with Xehanort was happening soon? No, that couldn't be it. He wasn't worried about that. He's worried about..

"Pit?" He muttered under his breath. Eyes gazes past Yen Sid to look at the stars through the windows. They sparkled brightly, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. A soft sigh left his lips. Maybe he was worried that he didn't have time to talk to Pit yet. He did like him, in love with him even, it would be the most respectful thing he would do if he told Pit that he was about to go to war.

He sighed and continued to listen to Yen Sid.

"Please take precautions when entering the keyblade graveyard. Xehanort is quite cunning when it comes to his preparations. We shall-" Before Yen Sid could finish his sentence, a sharp pain struck Sora's heart. A loud breathy gasp slipped out from his throat, eyes widened at the sudden pain in his chest. It caught the attention of everyone in the room.

Sora began to stumble back with his hand on his chest, breathing heavily. His eyesight started blurring as the pain courses through his entire body. Kairi stared at Sora with wide eyes, "Sora! Are you okay?!" She asked.

"Pain… in my- heart!" Sora tried to explain the best he could. Everyone started steadily walking towards Sora. They kept shouting his name and asking if he was going to be okay. But his hearing was beginning to muffle as well. He shakes his head to try and let himself focus.

Suddenly, his eyes widened when he felt a strong burn pain in his heart. It was like his heart went up in flames.

He knew this feeling.

He knew who it belonged to.

"PIT!!" Sora shouted as loud as he possibly could; both in pain and in shock. Then, his vision turns black as he falls forward and collapses on the floor. Everyone in the room gasped and quickly went to Sora to aid him. They started talking to each other in panic. Asking each other what they should do and what exactly happened to him. Yen Sid quickly pointed to the door and asked everyone to take Sora to his room and that the three good fairies will take care of him.

Axel and Aqua helped pick Sora up and started heading out from the room. Kairi went with them while everyone else stayed. They were all in shock at what just happened. What caused Sora to faint? They weren't sure exactly so they began discussing with each other.

Meanwhile, Yen Sid looks outside the window. A bright star caught his attention. He stared at it, longingly. How strange…

Sora slowly wakes up in a dark room. He later on the floor and rubbed his eyes. Where was he? Did he know this place? He tried to see if he could find anything around him but it was way too dark. His eyebrows furrowed slightly.

This… is confusing. "Wait, what happened to me?" He tried to think back on what happened and how he got here. He remembered something about..

"Pit..!" Sora perked up a bit when he figured out that he passed out because Pit was in trouble. He began looking around, "Pit!" He started to walk around aimlessly, cupping his hands by his mouth to amplify his shout.

He stumbled around until he saw something at the corner of his eye. "Pit?" Sure enough, he looks over to see Pit. Pit stood there; back facing Sora. Barely moving. Sora smiles and runs over to him. "Pit! I was so worried! I was at Master Yen Sid's tower and my heart started to hurt because… well.. because you were in trouble!" He steps forward to Pit. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

Pit stood there. Not even giving Sora a single glance or a twitch of his wing. It began to confuse Sora as to why Pit wasn't responding to him. He slowly reaches over to his shoulder, "..Pit?"

"All darkness will be eliminated. There will be only light. Everyone who has darkness in their souls shall be burned into the purest of light." Pit said with absolutely no emotion to back it.

"Wh-What?" When Sora touches Pit's shoulder, Pit slowly turns around and looks at him. Sora's eyes widened at the sight before him. Pit's cornflower blue eyes were replaced with a bright white pupil and his eyes were bloodshot red. His face overall seemed relaxed but his eyes were half lidded.

"Do not resist! Your soul shall be purified from your misery!" With no warning, Pit summons his bow and immediately swipes it across Sora's chest.

"PIT! NO!" Sora woke up, he sat up as quickly as he could on the bed he was lying on. Aqua jumped slightly at the sudden shout from Sora. She quickly stands up from her chair by the bed and puts a hand on Sora's shoulder. "Sora! It's okay!"

Sora breathes heavily. He sat there trying to recollect himself and think about what just happened. "It's okay. You're safe. It was only a nightmare." Aqua comforts him. She gently rubs brushes his fingers through Sora's hair to help calm him down. Sora blinked a few times and glanced over at Aqua.

"Aqua..?" Eyes started to wander around the room he was in. He soon realized that he was in his own room in Yen Sid's tower.

"Master Yen Sid told me to bring you here, in your room. Are you feeling okay?" Aqua asked. Hand moving down from his hair to be placed on his shoulder.

Sora looks back at Aqua. His lips curved into a frown. His heart felt empty. Something was missing. And he knew what he was missing. "..No. I'm not okay. Aqua, something's wrong." He admitted. Hands turned into fists; gripping the blanket that rested on his waist.

Aqua felt sorrow for Sora. She hoped that he would be alright after he woke up, but things would have been too easy. "Would you like to talk about it? It could make you feel better."

"I wish I could, Aqua. But it isn't really the right time for me to tell anybody about what's been going on with me." Sora leans against Aqua. She wraps her arms around Sora to give him a hug.

"Are you sure?" Aqua looks down at him.

Tears began to build up in his eyes. He gave Aqua a tight hug and tears rolling down his cheeks. "I-I'm sure."

Aqua wished that Sora told her what was going on. She would have tried to fix it in any way she could. The blue haired keyblade wielder held back her tears and rubbed his hand on Sora's back to comfort him.

They stayed there for a good few solid minutes before Sora pulled away. "I think I should get some rest now. The fight is going to happen in a few days…" He was trying to push Aqua away, not because he didn't like her, but because he needed to think about what just happened.

The woman seemed a bit hurt by this. She sighed, "Okay. But you are always welcome to talk to anybody about any problems you're having. Don't ever forget that, Sora."

"I won't." Sora rubs his tears away.

Aqua slowly backed up and went to the door. "Rest well, Sora." She grabs the knob and opens the door; exiting the room with a soft click.

Sora stared at the door for a few moments before grabbing the covers and throwing it off his body. He slides off the bed and walks over to the window in his room and looks out. Sad ocean eyes stare into a sparkling star in the far distance. Tears were already building up and streaming down his cheeks. The empty spot in his heart began to swell more.

"Pit, what happened?"
