Nico POV
Will's eyes were bulging, and he looked like he was struggling to breath, a triumphant son of Akhlys (don't ask how that came about) stood in front of hi
"Will!" Nico shouted
"As he turned and ran to his cabin, but Nico was to far away. Nico cursed and ran after him after he sent a skeleton to chase the camper. Nico ran into the Apollo cabin and looked around at the campers in there who were all staring wide eyed at the room that Will as head of the cabin got to himself. Nico could hear sobs as he quickly crossed the room to the door. He shot a quick look at the rest of the cabin and motioned for them to go about their various tasks then he pushed the door open gently. Will was lying face down on the bed crying into a pillow the sight broke his heart. He walked over and tried to hug Will, but the position was too awkward. Nico tried to sit the bigger boy up, but he resisted his efforts.
"Will tell me what happened" Nico said finally giving up on moving him, instead he sat on the edge of the bed because there wasn't enough room to lay next to him and slid his arms under his still form hugging him around the chest.
"just go away" came Will's muffled voice
"no"
"why not?"
"because I'm your boyfriend, and it's horrible to cry by yourself I should know" Nico said with a small smile
"I'm not crying about myself" Will said
"I said by yourself not about yourself" Nico said with a grunt, finally managing to roll him over and put Will's head in his lap. "now tell me what happened" he said his voice soft as he looked down at the beautiful blond boy before leaning down and kissing his tightly closed eyes then his tearstained cheek before resting his head against Wills blond curls.
"After serval minutes Nico sighed and went to sit up when Will's arm shot up and wrapped around his neck pulling him back down. then hoarsely in a voice Nico could barely hear he said
" h..hhe was bullying one of the younger campers and I told him to stop and and" Wills voice was getting shakier and shakier " he said to shup up and mind my own business because I can't even keep my own cabin members alive" he said the last in a whisper
Nico had to fight back the sudden rage that filled him as his mind flashed back to the horrible day not so long ago when one of the Apollo campers had gone into the woods on Wills orders to find some herbs and had ran into a hell hound barely making it back to the camp. Will had tried desperately to save him but to no avail.
"Nico took some deep breaths fiercely glad he had sent a skeleton after the person that had hurt his love so bad, after mentally sending a few more, he calmed down enough to speak.
"oh Will baby" he said his voice full of compassion and sympathy "he's a son of misery he loves finding what people regret the most and using it to hurt them, it wasn't your fault"
Will sighed relaxing a little more at each of his words finally opening his eyes and smiling a little at Nico. Nico nudged him "now scoot over so I can lay down my legs re going to sleep from your fat head" he said in mock grumpy ness.
"Will laughed shakily making a face at him but moving over anyways so Nico could lay next to him Wills arm still around his neck.
"have I ever told you how much I love you freckles?" Nico said before he leaned in and kissed Will's freckles before kissing him on the mouth. After a moment Will kissed him back.
"now don't be sad because that's my job, and I'm not good at comforting people" Nico said after they stopped kissing
"its not your job to be sad, and you're not bad at comforting people" Will smiled faintly at the familiarity of the argument
"I am totally bad at comforting people" Nico replied
"you're doing a pretty good job right now"
"yeah, well you better be happy now because I've ran out of ideas of how to make you happy" Nico said
"Will's smile turned in to a full-blown laugh at the grumpiness on his boyfriend's face "I have an idea you could kiss me again"
"Nico smiled "sounds like a plan" he said before kissing him
"They cuddled and kissed for an hour or so falling asleep for it really was quite late at that point.
