July 9, 1970 - Metropolis, Michigan, United States

Kara sped into the city which her Cousin protected. When she was over the city, she saw people protesting the Vietnam War on the streets. She heard of how the United States was in turmoil, but she never thought this is what it was like. As she flew next to the Daily Planet building, a man was floating in the air. He had the Crest of House El on his chest. "Who are you?" the man asked.

"Kara Zor-El of House El. My father is Zor-El brother of Jor-El." Kara answered in Kryptonian to see if this was indeed her cousin.

"I am Kal-El. I'm glad to see that I am not alone in this world." Kal remarked in Kryptonian. Kara smiled and hugged her cousin. When the two let go, Kal took Kara to the Daily Planet Roof. "How did you arrived here?"

"My Escape Pod crashed in Santa Prisca. I was trained to fight you one day. Until I learn the truth after all of the lies." Kara answered and Kal hugged her. "What do I do now?"

"When I was your age, my adoptive father told me that one day my gifts will be used to help the world, and every day I help people. I saved the world with good people. Your gifts will help the world as well." Kal said and Kara smiled. "Until then, you need to grow and I knew where you can in peace."

July 9, 1970 - Coraso, Santa Prisca

Bloodsport watched the Jackals after learning of Deathstroke's betrayal. Katana was forced to activate Bronze Tiger and Deathstroke's bombs. The situation was dire, but according to Katana, a new team leader was coming in with support. Until then the Task Force is helping Bane move his operations. Bloodsport just hopes that they'll make it through this revolution.

"The Corto Maltese troops are pulling out thanks to a revolution on their homeland." Copperhead reported to Bane and Katana. Katana knew this war was going to be difficult. Such tragic loss in one chaotic mission. "We need to retaliate against the government."

"No. We need to repair the damage, the Jackals have done." Katana remarked. "Thanks to them, you lost men and gear. Attacking now is stupid."

"Yet this war isn't going to end as long as the government stands. We'll be crushed." Copperhead added.

"You'll be crushed if you attack now." Katana said and Bane raise his hand for silence.

"When your reinforcements arrive, we will gather our forces and sneak into the Capital. I need an assassin to kill the President and the General." Bane ordered and before Katana could protest Bane interrupted her. "Once they are dead, we will strike key military points and fall back. When they report to their commanders, it will be revealed that they are dead and then the chaos will spread ripping the military into pieces. Then we will retake control."

"You are a genius husband." Copperhead remarked as she leaned against the man.

"Not half bad, but if anything goes wrong, then your efforts will be in vain. And what of the Jackals?" Katana asked.

"I'm sure we will find something for them." Bane answered.

July 9, 1970 - Presidential Palace, Capital City, Santa Prisca

"She did what?" Lain yelled at Cruz after hearing of Supergirl's desertion. The situation with Bane unraveling rapidly. First, he learned that the Jackals attacked Bane and failed thanks to Supergirl's intervention which lead to her desertion followed by Bane having time to escape the Army. Once more the Drug Lord slipped through his fingers. He was so close. At least this time he forced the criminal to lose equipment and men.

"We couldn't have known that Supergirl would read the file. I thought she would have brought them all down." Cruz replied.

"Find out what that prisoner knows." Lain ordered revealing to the black man that invaded the Military Center.

"I'm afraid we can't sir. His head blew up."

"His head blew up?" Lain asked confused.

"Yes sir."

"For fucks sake!" the President yelled as he threw a tray with expensive wine on it. "Find Bane even if you have to level this entire island to do so."

July 9, 1970 - Vera Cliff, Santa Prisca

Flag landed on the cliff with Rangers and SEALs. Their M16s raised. They knew where to go and marched into the jungle. It felt strange for Flag to be on the island where his father died. He was ready to finish his dad's mission. So his life wouldn't be in vain. Flag was given the classified details of Task Force X's mission here. The dirty work they are to do. Dirty work which he will be part of now. But it would mean that his dad life was paid for with a victory.

July 9, 1970 - Presidential Palace, Capital City, Santa Prisca

Cheshire snuck into the kitchen disguised as a waitress. She had a vile of Cyanide in her sleeve. She used this trick before in 1953 against Stalin in the USSR after payment from US military leaders. One of the first kills in her career. Hopefully, this kill will be the last she thought as she poured the poison into a bowl of soup. She took the lunch to the President's Chamber before disappearing from this palace. As she walked through the elegant palace Cheshire breathed slowly trying not to be spotted as an assassin. When she reached the chamber, the President was in bed with another young waitress. Cheshire placed the lunch on a table before leaving.

July 9, 1970 - Santa Prisca Military Center, Capital City, Santa Prisca

"Navy intercept another Bane supply ship." Cruz whispered to himself as he read the reports of current operations. With Supergirl gone, he must deal with damage control. As he read a report of a firefight outside of a farm in the West, a Lieutenant enter his office. "What is it?"

"President Lain is dead." the young officer reported and Cruz bolted up.

"Track the assassin and prepare for an assault. Keep this a secret." Cruz ordered as he turned to face the window. He saw the beautiful city. One that is on the rise to a great nation. Then everything went dark as a bullet struck his head.

July 9, 1970 - Capital City, Santa Prisca

Bloodsport saw the Santa Priscan military officers scramble after their General's demise. He lowered the sniper rifle and ran in the cover of night. He needs to regroup back with Cheshire, then head for Coraso. Hopefully this mission will be over soon he thought as he passed a patrol.

July 9, 1970 - Bane's Camp, Coraso, Santa Prisca

Flag entered the camp to find most of the men gone. Something was off. He walked through the camp to see campfires smoldering. As he got to the Camps center, he saw Katana, Killer Frost, Red Hood, Harley Quinn, Nightshade, Poison Ivy, and Cupid. Flag walked to Katana who was sharping her sword. "Where the hell is everyone?"

"In the Capital killing the President and General Cruz." Katana answered.

"What the hell is he thinking?"

"That the war will be quick."

"Dammit." Flag said. "Task Force X, we're heading to the capital. Katana fill me in on his plan.

July 9, 1970 - Green Point, Capital City, Santa Prisca

Bane threw an M24 Chaffee at a platoon of soldiers. They were crushed under its weight. Bane knew that this was going to spread chaos. Santa Prisca has been in countless revolts, Revolutions, uprisings, rebellions, and Civil Wars. With the Santa Prisca leadership dead, the island will fracture into pieces. This time though Bane will take over the island. He'll lead it so it will survive this Cold War between the States and Russia.

July 11, 1970 - A.R.G.U.S Command Center, A.R.G.U.S.N.A.C Normandy, Atlantic Ocean

"Transport will be arriving in eight days First Sergeant." Waller reported to Flag over the radio. For days now Santa Prisca was in constant warfare. Villages were burned to the ground while the Cubans attempted to hold the rioting capital. Task Force X was aiding Bane's force with taking the island, but they will be brought back to avoid any conflict's side effects.

"Thank you ma'am. Can wait to be home." Flag replied.
