August 21st
Percy watched as Annabeth sat in a maze of boxes, hair pulled back with pieces falling into her face, a face that was clearly overwhelmed yet focused.
"How do I have this much stuff? I don't remember packing all this stuff." She huffed out.
He chuckled and navigated his way towards her, "Really? Cause I watched you pack and I definitely remember telling you that it was too much."
"Shut up, Seaweed Brain."
Percy smiled at the expected response and wondered how his move-in day at NYU would go next weekend. Luckily, Annabeth got an early move-in at Yale so they wouldn't be moving in on the same day. He imagined it would mostly consist of him carrying his stuff into the dorm and then sitting on the bed watching his mom and Annabeth organize and unpack for him.
Annabeth's voice drew him out of his head, "Okay, I guess it makes the most sense to start with the bedding?" She thought out loud.
He stuck his hands up, "Don't look at me. You're the planner."
She rolled his eyes and they began the long journey of unpacking a freshman girl's dorm room.
After everything they both had been through, Percy didn't mind doing mundane tasks like this. He found that any time spent with Annabeth was time well spent. Even though she planned everything and only ever wanted to go to museums or watch documentaries, he adored her.
With Annabeth in his life, Percy could finally imagine a future, knowing she would be there to draw up the plans.
