Dean began to Dream again. No one was around. He was surrounded by fog.

"Hello," he spoke.

The hairs on his neck stood on end. Fear hit him like a truck. The laughter had returned, and it was right next to him. Dean swung at the sound, but only hit air.

"You'll have to do better than that Dean."

"Why don't you show your face, and then I'll show you how much better I can be."

"Oh... you know what I would, but I love watching you try and figure out who or what I am. So, I want you to keep guessing."

"I'm not going to play your game. This is nothing but a dream. This is my head and my dreams. You are nothing, but an imagination."

"Oh really, I am only a dream. If that is so, then I know you won't listen to me because you didn't listen to the first dream."

Dean's heart sank. He couldn't see it, but he knew the voice was smiling. The voice began to laugh. The laughing grew louder. Soon Dean was on his knees holding his ears.

"Shut up...SHUT UP...SHUT UP."

He then heard a thundering voice that sounded as if it came from the heavens.

"LEAVE THIS PLACE!!," it screamed.

The evil laughter stopped and the voice growled.

"Next time we meet Dean, your lap dog will not be here to save you, So ,until next time, bye bye."

The voice and fog began to disappear. The new voice began to speak softly.

"Pup, it is time to wake up, so we can talk about this and save Runt."

Dean kept his hands over his ears, and eyes closed tightly.

"Pup, he is gone. He won't hurt you. Please get up."

Dean's eyes opened and he was being stared at by everyone.

Everyone showed concern in their expressions.

Stinky was the first to speak.

"Are you ok Dean?"

"Yeah, it was just a nightmare. I am fine."

No one believed a word he said.

"Look, I don't wanna talk about it, and I am ready to save Runt, so can we get ready to do that."

Everyone just began to walking except Waya.

"Guardian, yo-"

"Waya, I am fine. Thank you for saving me."

Dean began to walk, but was stopped by Waya.

"I will do what I can to find out what that is because it is no apparition from a dream."

Dean nodded his head and began to walk.

While he was walking he was deep in thought.

"How did he know? He knew about the dream."

Waya looked at him and poked him. Dean jumped and looked around frantically. He then looked to Waya.

"Yeah Waya. what's up?"

"You are deep in thought. You need to have a clear mind for the upcoming battle."

"Saying that to me and me doing that are two different things Waya."

"Why are you here."

"I am here to save my friend."

"Then focus on that. Nothing else matters until you have completed your goal."

Dean thought about those words and realized he was right.

"You are right Waya, thank you."

"You are welcome Guardian."

The rest of the trip was Dean going over his plan to save Runt. He came out of his thoughts when Winston spoke.

"Ok Dean. We are almost to the territory, so what is your plan?"

"I will have Waya cause a distraction. While they are distracted, I will sneak in and save Runt."

"What is Waya going to do," asked Tony.

"He can literally just stand there and be a distraction."

Everyone turned to the giant wolf that looked like a living skeleton.

"Fair point, but what if you are spotted."

"Then I go into plan B."

"What is plan B?"

"Book it to you guys with Runt's in my arms and have Waya provide cover."

"How is Waya going to do this? I know you have faith in him Dean, but he is only one wolf," stated Winston.

"Ok Waya, I guess it's time to show them your party trick."

"Very well Guardian."

Waya stopped and his eyes glowed blue. In an instant, everyone saw a second Waya pop out of thin air next to the original.

Everyone left was in complete shock. Dean began to speak.

"Waya has the ability to make copy's of himself. They can fight along side him. He can create them anywhere around him.

Everyone was quiet at first, but that ended when Tony grew a big smile on his face.

"This is going to be fun."

With that everyone continued the trek, and within a few minutes they had reached the territory. Dean was a little taken back by how many wolves he was seeing. He began counting.

"One, two, three, four-" Waya spoke.

"Did you get the one there," he pointed.

"I think so."

"Ok, then how many are there."

"Too many, but I can see Runt, so now I am going to go do my thing, Waya you go do your thing, and everyone else can wait here and enjoy the show." Dean threw his cloak over his head and began the trek down to Runt.

Everyone nodded and Waya began to move to the front of the territory.

Three wolves began to run to Waya. He let out a howl that stopped the three in their tracks. All of the wolves were looking at Waya. The plan was going perfectly. Dean hid behinds giant rock and could see Runt across from him. Dean shifted and began to whisper.

"Psst Runt."

Runt looked at him and his face showed confusion, excitement, and shock.

"Dean-" he spoke.

"Shh, quiet."

"What are you doing here," he whispered.

"I'm getting you out of here, come on."

Runt ran to Dean, and they began to silently sneak out of the territory.

All was going well until...

"King, the pup is gone," spoke an unknown wolf.

"What," spoke the wolf known as King."

Waya then bolted to the tree line.

"It's a trick," screamed King.

"Go, go, go, Runt, run," spoke Dean.

Runt began to run quicker. Soon, the pups were out in the open.

Dean could hear quickening steps running behind him. He knew it was not friendly.

Dean had to think fast. He saw a small stone up ahead of him. The wolf was getting closer. He shifted into human, grabbed the stone and quickly turned around and threw it at the wolf. He quickly turned back around and grabbed Runt, and began to sprint to the tree line. He then heard a yelp and something heavy hitting the ground and rolling. He kept running, he had one goal: get to the tree line. He then saw a large black blur move past him. He then heard something stopping. Dean jumped over a bush and made it to the tree line. He put Runt down and he ran to his family. Dean turned and saw a lot of Waya's behind him. They had formed a line stretching the border of the territory. Waya began to speak.

"Do not pursue us! If you do not listen, then you will die."

With that the Waya's turned around and began walking into the tree line. Dean began to follow them. He heard King screaming for his wolves to attack, but none of them did. Dean just kept walking. Once they were out of site, everyone stopped to catch their breath. The Waya's began to disappear until the one Waya remained. He looked at Dean.

"Guardian, your plan worked, great job."

"It wouldn't have if it wasn't for you, so nice job Waya."

Dean looked at Runt.

"Runt, are you ok."

"You're the human that saved us."

"Yeah... that's me, and I will explain everything to you.

"That would be great."

After Dean explained everything to Runt about his heritage and he demonstrated what he could do. He also summarized what Waya was. He was waiting for a reaction. Runt stared at him with a blank stare until...

"YOU ARE SO COOL. My best friends will be a really strong Guardian one day."

"You aren't mad I didn't tell you when we first met?"

"No, I understand why you kept that a secret."

"I'm so happy you understand, and I never really had a best friend outside of my family and Waya, so thank you for calling me best friend."

"It's true, you are my best friend."

"Then that makes you mine, so now that we have that out of the way, shall we take you guys home," as Dean referred to Waya when he stated this.

The wolves nodded their heads the the trek home began.

Waya looked down at Dean and the pups while they were making small talk. They all looked happy. Everyone looked happy. Dean was smiling and laughing. He was happy. This pleased Waya. He began to think.

"I am happy for you Pup. You have found allies outside of your family, but you still have much to learn," he thought.

Dean was too busy talking with everyone else to notice.

"So Runt, how was your life as a prisoner," he asked.

"Uh it wasn't that bad actually. There was this one she wolf who took care of me. She would keep the other wolves away from me. Her name was Princess, and she is King's daughter."

"Well that's good, but I wonder what their real names are because there is no way that that's their real names."

"Your right Dean," said Tony. Dean looked to the wolf.

"I knew King back when I was in alpha school, but, back then, I knew him as Charles. He was apart of the Eastern pack. When the packs united, he was enraged due to the fact that alphas and omegas could marry, and left with some of my members."

"So, alphas and omegas couldn't marry before the packs united?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Uh, well Charles was saying something of purity, but other than that I don't know what caused the alpha omega ban."

Winston stepped in.

"Ok everyone we should rest here and we will continue home tomorrow."

Everyone began to lay down and rest. Dean laid next to Waya as usual, but then Runt moved over to Dean. This triggered a domino effect. Runt's siblings moved closer to him, which made the parents move closer to the pups.

Everyone went to sleep. They were happy Runt was retrieved, but now they must return back to the territory of the United Pack.
