Everyone is fast asleep. It is the last night of their adventure. They will be home tomorrow. Someone was dreaming, but they soon realized it was a nightmare.

Waya was surrounded by a dense fog.

"Waya," screamed Dean.

"What..," Waya thought to himself.

"Waya," screamed Drew.

"Pups, where are you? I am here. I can't see you. Tell me where you are."

"Brother, help me," screamed Jesse.

"Waya, help me, please," screamed Sarah.

"Where are you? I can't find anyone."

The voices grew louder and louder until Waya heard an eerie silence. No sounds were heard.

"Pups? Brother? Sarah? Where are you?"

"They're gone Waya," spoke a deadpan voice."

Waya bared his teeth and snarled at the voice.

"Julius!, I swear, when I find you, I will make you suffer pain so unimaginable."

"Oh I know you will, but if you are mad at anyone Waya, it should be yourself. You led me right to Dean. You failed your mission, see for yourself."

The fog cleared and what Waya saw shook him to his core. He could never unsee what was presented to him. What Waya saw were four lifeless bodies. These bodies were the bodies of Jesse, Sarah, Drew, and Dean. Waya ran to them.

"Jesse, please wake up. Sarah, get up. Drew, Dean, please don't leave me. I will do better, just please get up. WAKE UP!!" He pleaded as tears ran down his face.

"They can't hear you Waya," taunted Julius.

"NO! I HAVE NOT FAILED YET!! This is a dream. Dean is still alive. You will not take him. I WILL DIE BEFORE YOU TAKE HIM!"

With that Waya rose up from his slumber. It was still night. He looked around frantically. He was looking for Dean. He looked down and saw the boy was fast asleep. Nothing was harmed on his body. Waya breathed a sigh of relief. He remembered what he said about that only being a dream, but he also knew one thing. Guardians and magic users can sense large amounts of magic. When he made his copies, he used magic to do so. He has secretly been cloning himself all around the globe. Julius has been chasing these clones. Waya can sense when a clone has died. A lot of clones have died. He has been doing this since Runt was saved. Soon, Waya will have to change his plans because he is running out of magic. Cloning uses magic. Waya is slowly growing weaker. He is hiding it from Dean. He looked back to Dean and smiled. He then rose up and walked off. Dean woke up when the sun rose. He smiled when he saw everyone else waking up. He then turned and saw that his guardian was missing.

"Waya?"

He got up and looked around. He then saw Waya coming out of a bush. He walked up to him and saw that he was sweating.

"Are you ok?"

"I am fine. I was training."

"Cool, are you ready to go?"

"I am."

"Ok."

With that they rejoined the group and continued the trek. Little did Dean know, Waya was creating more clones in many different places. For most of the trek, Dean was talking with the pups. They were talking and laughing amongst themselves. They have grown quite close. Dean, Stinky, and Claudette grew closer due to their one goal of saving Runt. Everything was fine. Waya then formed a plan. He raised up on his hind legs and prepared to pounce on Dean. His paws slammed back down, but when he looked down, he saw Dean was not there. He looked ahead of him and saw Dean sitting up.

"You rolled out of the way, good."

Everyone was scared and angry. They thought Waya was attacking Dean, but those thoughts went away when Dean began to laugh.

"A training exercise now Waya?"

"I am just keeping you on your toes."

"Ok, name the rules of the game."

"If I pin you, you lose. If I can't pin you by the time we make to the territory, then you win."

"Winston, how far are we from the territory," asked Dean.

He looked around his surroundings and finally provided an answer.

"We are about five miles from the territory."

"Ok Waya, let's do this."

"Begin!"

With that he charged at Dean. Dean barely had time to move out of the way. He rushed Dean again, and the outcome was the same. Waya kept getting closer and closer to pinning Dean. Soon Dean was backed against a tree. Waya was about to pin him until Dean climbed up the tree.

"Dean, don't make me come up there."

Dean was silent.

"Ok, when I pin you, I will "accidentally" pin you with all my weight."

Just as Waya got a paw up, Dean leapt from the tree, and he landed on Waya's back.

"Hey, you make a soft horse."

Waya reared up on his hind legs and prepared to fall back. Before he could, however, Dean had dismounted off of Waya's back. Waya slammed into the ground with a menacing thud. Dean stood where he was and watched. Waya was laughing.

"Did you leave a crater in the ground, cause that was a loud thud."

Waya's face then grew serious. He looked straight at Dean. Dean grew uneasy.

"Hey it was a joke."

Waya stood straight up and began sprinting to Dean. Dean was frozen in fear.

"I'm sorry, I'm Sorry!"

Waya jumped right over Dean and into the bush behind him. Dean then heard a low growl and a scuffle.

Dean ran into the bush and saw the most unbelievable sight. Waya was fighting a grizzly. This bear was huge. It reared up on its hind legs and let out a huge roar. Everyone was too preoccupied with Dean and Waya's training to sniff around for danger. Waya reared up and let out a terrifying snarl. At this height Waya stood a full head over the beast. They slammed into each other and began biting and pawing at each other. The bear smacked Waya on the right side of his head. He shook it off and bit the bear on the left side of his face. The bear roared in pain and backed away. Waya scored a direct hit. The bear's left side was bloody and his left eye was damaged. The bear lost its vision on that side forever. Waya was huffing and puffing and released a low growl. The bear walked away defeated. Dean ran up to Waya.

"Waya, are you ok?"

He mumbled something under his breath.

"What? I can't here you."

He then used one of his paws to trip Dean and the other to pin him down. Dean had no idea what hit him until he was laying down on the ground. Waya got real close to his face.

"I said...huh... you lose..." he then caught his breath.

"No matter the situation Pup, do not ever let your guard down."

Dean nodded his head frantically. Waya then laughed and lifted his paw up. Dean stood up and brushed himself off.

Winston and Tony looked at the pups

"That is something you three should learn as well," stated Tony. Winston nodded in agreement.

The pups ran up to Dean and checked on him. Once he gave the ok, they continued their trek. After all the training Waya and Dean had done, the territory was about a mile away.

Once Dean realized how far they were, he soon grew afraid. The pack is about to see him as a human. He will have to reveal his secret to them. How will they react? Will they be mad, probably. Will they be scared, maybe. Right now, he wanted to be an adult and be able to use invisibility spells. He was fearful of everything right now. He was stressing him self. In the past few minutes, Dean has gone from confident beyond your wildest dreams, to a complete and utterly nervous wreck. Kate noticed this.

"Dean, are you ok?"

"I am great. Why wouldn't I be? I am just peachy."

He gave a big smile.

"Well, you look a little nervous."

"Is it that bad?"

"It kinda is."

"I just... I don't know what the pack will think about me. I just know that they must know."

"Ok, When I needed to tell the pack something, I was so nervous. I knew that they needed to know, even if they wouldn't like what I had to say."

"What did you do?"

"I took a deep breath and I told them. That's what you should do too. Take a deep breath and say it."

"Ok, thank you Mrs. Kate."

"You are welcome."

They continued the trek and soon made it to the territory. They walked right in the middle of the valley before a voice rang out and stopped everyone.

"Human!," screamed a wolf.

Wolves began running all over the place. Many ran to confront Dean. They bared there teeth and snarled at the boy. Dean he was trapped. Waya jumped on top of him and growled at the wolves. The wolves didn't know what to think. Never in their lives have they seen a wolf so big. The panic ended when someone spoke up.

"That's enough!" Winstons voice silenced everyone.

"Hi, welcome home everyone. I am so glad everyone is home and safe," spoke Eve.

"Hello Dear, it is good to be home. There will be a pack meeting to explain to you all why a human and an extremely large wolf is in our presence."

All of the wolves gathered around the entrance of Winston and Eve's den. Most of them were glaring at the intruders.

Dean walked into the middle of the group. He turned back to Winston.

"You can speak now." He gave him a soft smile.

Dean looked at Kate and she nodded. He took a deep breath.

"Hi everyone."

He started his speech. He told them everything. Who he was, who his parents are, who Waya is, and what he can do. Most of the wolves had no idea who he was. They didn't see him when he was around anyways. He demonstrated his powers and everyone gasped at all he could do. He told them about Runt being take and how he had to help. Once he was done, he looked at everyone. They were uneasy, and they were mad.

"I will leave if you want me to. I understand."

"Guardian where would we go?"

"I don't know Waya, but it is around here. Mom told me she would find me in Jasper Park." Winston stepped in.

"Dean, will you and Waya please exit the den, so that us and the pack can talk."

Waya was about to protest, but Dean stopped him.

"Waya, it's ok. Let's just wait outside. I need some air anyways."

"Very well Guardian."

"Thank you boys."

Dean and Waya nodded their heads and walked out.

Dean and Waya sat down by the entrance and waited.

For the longest time it was quiet. The wolves were talking amongst themselves and were discussing the problem at hand, Dean and Waya. Winston and the others were telling the pack how Dean first saved the pups. They also talked about how Runt was saved. Many of the wolves gasped at the stories. Many of them were happy and Mesmerized by the stories. It was time for Winston to call in a vote.

"Ok everyone, now that you have heard all this about Dean, is there any one who object to letting him stay with us until his family retrieves him?"

"I reject," spoke a dark grey wolf.

"Drake, why do you object," asked Winston.

The one known as Drake began to speak.

"For many moons we have fought against each other. Eastern wolves and Western Wolves. Only by marriage were we able to unite the packs. We even broke the alpha and omega marriage law under Kate and Humphrey. I was a little taken back by this, but I grew to accept this as the new normal. Now, a human pup, not only a human pup, but a human pup that can perform feats no other thing can do walks into our territory, and you want to grant him sanctuary until more humans come to retrieve him. Need I remind you what humans do to our kind.

Kate decided to defend Dean.

"He's just a pup."

"He's a hunter! He will grow up to kill our kind. Tony, humans took your mate away."

"Yes, but this human and his friend Waya have given me news and hope. My mate is alive, and I intend to find her."

All of the wolves gasped, but Drake was not impressed.

"Well, they are probably lying in order to gain your trust. I won't trust that little freak as long as I live! I won't stand for this future killer staying within the pack!"

Everyone heard Drake's harsh words. Even the two individuals sitting outside.

These words hurt Dean, but he dared not show it. The word "freak" and "killer" was what really hurt him. Waya was fuming.

"Uh I think I'm gonna go for a walk," spoke the boy. Waya looked at him strangely.

"Would you like me to accompany you."

"No, I just wanna be alone right now."

"Very well Guardian. Do not let those words get to you."

"That's kinda hard not to, but ok. I will be back whenever."

Dean put his earbuds in and turned up his music all the way. He began walking and was soon out of sight and earshot.

Waya was about to storm in their and give that wolf a piece of his mind. That was until he heard something.

"HOW DARE YOU!!"
