"What?"

That was all that Dean could say. His Guardian, the one who is supposed to stay with him and protect him in a situation where his parents are not near him. A situation that is just like the one he is in now. This is where he needs Waya the most, and he is leaving him.

"Why are you leaving me? First mom and now you."

"Guardian, I must leave to keep you safe. I wish for you to remain here with the United pack until I return. I must go. You are in danger and I intend to keep you out of it as much as I can."

"I thought mom was supposed to be fighting the danger."

"She is, but she has lost track of the danger and requires my assistance."

Dean turned away and sat down. He did not want Waya to leave. He would be completely alone. Everyone he know back home will be away from him. Waya put his head close to the pups to where he was eye to eye with him.

"Guardian, I am doing this to protect you. You can stay with them and they will take good care of you. I know it, and I am not gone. Even if you can't see me, I am still there."

Dean then turned human. He then grabbed Waya in the best hug he could give.

"I just don't want you to go."

Waya returned it and continued to hold him.

"I do not wish to leave you, but it is what I must do to ensure your safety. You are strong pup. I now must leave you. Know this, You will grow stronger than all of us, but this will take time, and you won't be able to do this alone, but you will still achieve it. I know it."

He then released Dean, and he looked up at Waya and smiled.

"I guess this is goodbye, Waya."

"It is, but know this I will see you soon."

Waya stood up and was about to leave when he got an idea.

"One more thing Guardian."

Dean turned and was about to say something, but before he could, he was tripped by one paw, and pushed to the ground and pinned with the other. Waya had his teeth bared and had Dean completely at his mercy.

" Always keep your guard up."

Waya then got off of Dean, and gave him one last hug. Dean was smiling as he did so.

"Yes, Waya."

"Goodbye Guardian."

"Goodbye Waya."

"Marcel!, Paddy," screamed the wolf.

The two birds waddled out of the den.

"You called sir," asked Paddy.

"I did, please follow me."

They did and the three stopped once they were out of hearing range.

"I need you two to lead me to the train station."

"We can do this. Anything for the Guardians bodyguard," said Marcel.

"Thank you."

"We shall return wolves," spoke Paddy. With that the three headed off to the train station. Leaving Dean just standing there watching them leave. The sun was going down with them. It was now dark and the three were out of site.

Dean was still watching.

He flinched when he felt something touch his back. It was Humphrey and Kate.

"Hey buddy, it getting late and you still need to eat dinner and head to bed. Its starting to get colder." spoke Humphrey.

Dean let out a breath and nodded in agreement. He went in without saying a word. He spoke very little when he was eating. They were simple yes or no answers. He then went out to say his goodnight.

"No matter where you are, no matter how far, with all my love, family, Waya, be well.

He then went into the den. Everyone was laying down.

Dean moved to a spot that was in the corner of the den. He said goodnight.

Everyone else responded with a goodnight.

Dean then curled up and closed his eyes.

He then felt something pick him up and began carrying him.

He was then placed down by the pups. He then saw Kate laying back down.

"It is gonna be cold tonight Dean, so it is best that we sleep closer together to stay warmer," she spoke.

Dean nodded his head and closed his eyes once again. He slowly began to drift off. His thoughts wondered back to his place, back to Colorado, back to his sister, his parents, Waya, back to...home. He fell asleep with that thought alone.

At this time, Waya and the birds managed to find the station.

"Thank you, I am in your debt," spoke the wolf.

"It is our pleasure," spoke the goose.

"If I may ask Waya, where are you going," asked Paddy.

"I cannot tell you."

"Ok, I understand, uh Marcel I think that marks our time to head back to the wolves den."

"I agree Paddy."

With that the two birds said their goodbyes and left the wolf at the border of the train station.

"Ok, now it is time for me to get answers. Waya made his way as silently as he could, and soon found a railroad schedule in the station. He was outside the station about to sneak in when he saw a mother and her daughter, with a black wolf stuffed animal in her hand, walking into the station. He followed right behind them and began to sprint inside. The daughter screamed. "Look mommy, a horsey."

Waya laughed and continued to run. He quickly searched the schedule and soon found his train. He continued to sprint and was soon away from the people who kept screaming "bear!"

The wolf then made his way into an empty railroad car and he laid down, and he let out a huff.

"In all my years of living, I have never once been called a "horsey," he laughed to himself. He then frowned.

The train began to slowly move.

"I hated that I lied to him, but I could not dare look him in the eyes if I hadn't lied."

Waya than began to sleep. He was hoping that the pup would be fine without him.

Back with Dean he slept fairly well. He woke up and realized that he was now without Waya. He was still sad about that. Kate was gone, so it was just Dean, Humphrey, Marcel and Paddy and the pups.

"Morning Dean," spoke Humphrey.

"Good morning Mr. Humphrey."

"Hey, I know you're still sad about Waya leaving and all, but cheer up. He wouldn't want to see you this down. He would want to see the happy Dean who Waya fell on.

Dean looked at him.

"Hey that is not funny, I nearly died under him. I was traumatized. I couldn't see anything, and he smelled."

Humphrey was laughing and what Dean didn't notice were the pups laughing at the story too. Everyone except Runt.

"What did Waya do," he asked.

Dean looked at him and began laughing.

"Ok, Runt so this was when we were looking for you. I was sleeping next to Waya. The next thing I know I can't see, hear, move, or breath. Everything smells like wet dog and woods. I have a free hand, so I am hitting whatever was on me. I nearly passed out, but then Waya got off me."

Everyone began laughing harder. Soon Dean was even laughing at the story.

"Ok, I'll admit it, it was pretty funny."

Humphrey then walked over to him.

"Feel better?"

Dean smiled to himself.

"Yeah, I really do. I needed a laugh like that, Thanks for reminding me of the occasion."

"Don't mention it."

"So what is the agenda for today Mr. Humphrey."

"What else, but me teaching you guy's some omega tricks, and having fun."

"Cool."

"Paddy and I must be on our way," spoke the goose.

"You guy's are leaving already?"

"It's a bird thing," spoke Paddy.

"We will say goodbye to Kate, and then we will be off," finished Marcel.

"We'll be careful guys," said Humphrey.

Everyone said their goodbyes to the birds and they were off.

With that everyone began exiting to den. Dean was the last one to leave. He smiled and continued walking while doing so he was thinking to himself.

"This won't be so bad. Waya will be here in no time. Everyone will be back."

Meanwhile, at the same time as Dean is having this thought, a giant wolf is roaming through the woods. This wolf has skeleton markings all over his black coat. The location is Montana. The wolf stops after hearing a twig snap. He then heard nothing after. He kept moving. Just as he took another step, something rushed out of the bush. The thing is a man. This man is wielding a serrated sword. He is in a black trench coat, rubber boots, a black hat, and black glasses. The man stabbed the wolf before he could even register it. The wolf collapsed and began to faze in and out of sight. It finally disappeared completely. The man looked at his sword and gritted his teeth. He then threw his sword away and screamed angrily at the sky.

"Why must you tease me with clones, wolf! You are only preventing what must be done! I WILL FIND HIM!"

The man's eyes began to glow purple. His sword came back to him and he sheathed it. He then turned his head quickly in a different direction.

"Idaho...I swear if it is another clone, I am going to cut myself down with my own blade," cursed the man.

He then opened a portal and jumped into it.

In another part of the world a wolf had just jumped onto another train. He was extremely exhausted and plopped down in the empty train car. He then felt something on his fur. He looked down and realized that his nose was bleeding. He quickly wiped it off and it soon stopped.

"How long has it been since you had a bloody nose, Waya," he thought to himself. He then smiled at the thought.

"Oh yes I remember, Jesse."

Waya then thought about the time he and the Guardian were sparring, and it soon became an all out brawl. Both men were bruised and bloodied. They both stopped when Jesse's wife stopped them. The two fighters looked and saw the matriarch of the family holding a blonde baby boy in her hands, and an eight year old dirty blonde girl was by her leg.

They looked back at each other and laughed. Their wounds immediately began to heal after the fighting ceased, and they looked as if they never fought in the first place.

Waya laughed at the thought.

"Dean was born a few days before that."

Waya then had another memory. This one consisted of him laying in a babies nursery and the little dirty blonde girl playing with his fur.

"Waya," asked the girl.

"Yes pup."

"What will you call me after my little brother is born."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you only call me guardian, or you call me pup. You don't call me by my name. If you call my baby brother the same thing then it will be confusing."

Waya chuckled

"You are right. That would be weird, so I guess I should call you by your name when I am talking specifically to you. That would make it less confusing. Right Drew?"

She giggled at that.

"Yes Waya, oh and I have another question."

"Ask away Drew."

"What does a sister do?"

Waya didn't really have an answer, but he soon found the words to describe the situation.

"You are a big sibling. This means that you will need to help your parents in caring for your brother. You are there to protect him and you are there to make sure he is loved and happy. You will always be there for him and in turn he will always be there for you. Do you understand your role now, Drew?"

"Yes Waya, oh and I am done with your hair.

Waya looked at his tail and saw knots and bows in his tail.

"I love it Drew."

Waya then came back from his flashback.

"It hurt like the devil to untie those knots and bows, but to see her smile was completely worth it."

He looked out the train car and saw the sun was shining brightly. He then grew tired.

"I need to rest for the future battle. I will be strong enough to derail his plan for a short time."

With that said, Waya turned his head, closed his eyes, and began to sleep.
