One day and a half of driving, sing-alongs, potty breaks, and quick shop food, and Jasper was in their sights. It was Tuffy driving, Talia in front, and the family in the back. As of now, Dean was working on his drawing, every now and then he would glance at his family members, and then back at his drawing. The more he drew, the more his picture began to look more like something he has seen before. He couldn't place his finger on it, but this picture is so familiar. He added some finishing touches and called it good.

"Whatcha working on, sweetie," asked Kate.

"I was working on my drawing, but I just finished it."

"That's good."

"Yeah."

"Are you ready to go back?"

"I really am."

"That's good. You'll become an official member of the pack, and officially become our son, once your grandfather states it to the pack."

"Grandfather, I like the sound of it."

"Well," began Tuffy. "It's a good thing you do because we are here."

Dean looked out the window, and saw a huge sign saying "WELCOME to JASPER."

Tuffy drove into the park, and pulled his phone out. He then followed the coordinates his phone gave him, and, soon the wolves made it to one log cabin. The cabin was a two story, and looked absolutely breathtaking.

"What did you have to do to get that," asked Dean.

"Nothing really," spoke Tuffy. "I just like my space, and I used my special privileges to become a park ranger, so I can live here for free, but I don't need to do ranger stuff unless I really want to."

"You just keep coming up with surprises," spoke Humphrey.

"Indeed I do."

Meanwhile Dean began to look around. He could smell the forest, but something was different about it. He felt different about it. "This is it," he said to himself.

"What is it," asked Runt. He was standing next to Dean when he said it.

"This is my home, brother, our home. Hey Tuffy?"

"Yes Dean."

"Do you think you could keep my spell books with you? I don't necessarily have a bookshelf in my new home."

"Sure."

Dean then gave him a bag.

"What about the other bag," Asked Tuffy.

"Well, I have some stuff in here I want to keep with me."

"Ok."

Dean then picked up his one bag, and looked at his new family. Once Tuffy came back. Everyone was ready to go.

"Let's go home," said Dean.

Everyone agreed and began to walk to the territory. Once they made it to the edge of the territory. Humphrey began to speak.

"Hey Dean," began Humphrey. You might wanna let everyone know you're back."

Dean understood what he was saying, and put his stuff on the ground.

"Uh, I never really learned to howl. Humans never needed to do so."

"Well," began Kate. "There's two types of howling. You can howl to let everyone know where you are at, or you can howl to impress someone at the howl. Lilly can teach you about the second howl, but I can teach you about the first one. It is to establish that you are here. It doesn't come from your throat, it comes deeper. Lean your head back and let it out."

Dean turned into a wolf pup, and took a deep breath. He then threw his head back, and let out the loudest howl he could muster. It sounded like any other wolf pup.

"Well, began Kate. "For a pup, it was great, but we may need to be a little louder. Why don't we help you?"

"I agree."

Then the whole family began to howl. It was great. They then heard several howls answering their calls.

"We sound great," said Dean.

"Yes we do," answered Humphrey. "Now we are granted safe entry. Let's go."

Soon everyone made it to the leaders den, and throughout the valley, the family received strange looks. Probably because the she-wolf thought to be dead, and the human other than Dean. They soon made it to the leaders den and they were greeted by Winston and Eve.

"Welcome back," said Eve but she stopped talking when she laid eyes on Talia. Winston then saw here and was speechless. Tony then stumbled out.

"Welcome back everyone. How was-" he stopped mid-sentence when he laid his eyes on his long thought to be dead mate.

Talia walked in front of the group.

"Hi Tony," spoke Talia. Tony remained silent.

"Tony I," he then embraced her in a hug.

"You haven't changed a bit Tali."

She then began to shed tears.

"Neither have you Tony."

"Promise me you won't leave me again," pleaded Tony.

"I'm not leaving you for anything."

"Dad," said an unknown voice.

Tony and Tali then turned to see Garth and Lilly coming up to the den.

Garth was about to say something, but he lost his train of thought when he saw the she-wolf hugging his father.

Talia gasped at the wolf and then walked up to Garth.

"Hi," she said.

"Hi," he said. "You look familiar."

"So do you."

"Dad, is this?"

"Yes son."

Garth's eyes grew wide and he looked down at his mother.

"Hi Garth," she said.

He then grabbed his mother in a hug, and soon Tony joined in. Once the embrace ended Tony looked at the family.

"What happened Talia?"

"Well, when I was taken by the humans, I was saved by a human." She then pointed to Tikanni.

"Tony, Garth, this is Tikanni. He saved me from the poachers. Once he saved me, I went back to the Eastern pack with his help. Before I got there I ran into Charles. He said the Eastern pack was wiped out, and you too were gone with it. Some time had passed since I was kidnapped. I thought you guys were dead. I had nothing left, so I decided to continue to help Tikanni. Something happened and we ended up running into Dean, and his family. They told me how Charles lied to me, and they brought us here."

Tony then walked up to Tikanni.

"Thank you for saving my mate. You have my deepest gratitude."

"Actually, we kind of saved each other. She helped me when I was at a real low time in my life. You have a great mate, and it was an honor to save her." Tikanni then looked at Garth. "And you have a great mother."

Tony then turned to Dean and the family.

"Thank you for returning my mate to me guys."

"Actually they found us," said Humphrey.

"Really."

"Oh do we have a story for you," said Dean.

Everyone went into the den, and then the family began to tell everyone else the story of Colorado, Tikanni's bloodline, and the run in with the poachers. The only part that was left out was Dean being adopted.

Once they were done, everyone looked down at Dean.

"So your home is gone," spoke Winston.

"Yes sir."

"Dad," began Kate. "While we were in Colorado, Dean asked us if he could stay with us."

"And what did you say?"

"We said yes. He would be our son, and Runt, Stinky, and Claudette's brother.

Winston was silent, but he then looked down at Dean.

"Well Dean, if they are adopting you, then that makes me your grandfather."

"Yes sir, I believe it does."

"Well, then I guess I have a new grand pup, you can call me grandpa, or grandfather if you would like."

"Does this mean you'll teach me to be a wolf?"

"Yes it does because I'm not going to let your new mother and father have all the fun."

"Hey," spoke Eve. "You're not going to be the only one to help him other than his parents, Winston. He has a grandmother now too. You can call me grandma or grandmother or whatever you feel like."

"Hey," began Lilly. "He'll also gets help from his new aunt and uncle."

"That's right," spoke Garth.

"He also has another aunt and uncle," said Tony.

Dean then looked at his hand, and could see a hint of blue coming of of it.

"Uh, Uncle Tony," spoke Dean. "Please lay down."

"Why?"

"I am going to fix your back."

"Oh, I thought you did so the first time."

"That was a temporary fix."

"Ok, whatever you say. I trust you."

Tony then laid down, and Dean got on his back. He then put his hands on the out of place disc. His eyes and hands began to glow bright blue, and he pressed down. A loud pop was heard, but Tony didn't say anything. The blue disappeared and Dean got off Tony's back.

"How do you feel?"

"I feel great." Tony then got up and moved around.

"You work wonders, Dean. Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Well, I guess I better introduce you as a full member of the pack."

Winston then walked out and called the whole pack to the center of the valley. Once everyone was there and Winston was joined by Eve, Tony, and Talia. Talia whispered something to the leaders and after a few whispers, they nodded, and Winston began to speak.

"Today, my daughter, Kate, and her family have returned, and they brought back Talia, Tony's mate, and Talia's savior, a human named Tikanni. They also brought Dean back with them. I have considered allowing these wolves and human, a place in our pack. Does anyone object to them becoming apart of our pack."

The wolves were silent. The human saved Talia, and Dean has saved them countless times. They said nothing.

"Ok, come out boys."

"What," said Tikanni.

"Come on," said Talia. "I need to keep an eye on you somehow. You may be in a cabin, but you are now apart of the pack too."

Dean and Tikanni both walked out and looked down on the crowd.

"I hereby welcome Tikanni, and my new grandson, Dean to the United Pack."

Wolves began to cheer and howl. Dean let out a howl, and his family began to howl with him. They were howling with him, his family was howling with him. This was his. No one could take this from him. He looked around at his new family and everyone was happy. Once the introduction was over Dean went back into the den. Eve then walked behind him.

"What are you doing, Dean?"

"Before we go back to the den, I wanted to show everyone my drawing."

"Your what?"

It's something humans make.

He then showed Eve the paper.

She gasped. "It's beautiful, Dean. You did that from memory?"

"Yes." Dean

"It looks just like me. Winston, everyone come in here."

"What is it, Dear," asked Winston.

"Look what Dean made the family. It is a drawing."

Everyone began to look at Dean holding up a paper. The drawing was finally revealed. It showed the pup in front, Kate and Humphrey behind them, Garth and Lilly next to Humphrey, Winston and Eve next to Kate, and Tony and Talia next to Lilly. He drew and colored all this. It was so good. No one was unhappy with how Dean drew his new family. They thanked him, and congratulated him. Kate walked over and licked his cheek.

"It looks so good, Dean," she said. "But you forgot someone." Dean then began looking through the drawing.

"Who? I could have sworn I remembered everyone. I even put Talia in."

"You forgot you," she laughed.

Dean then looked at the picture, and smiled.

"I guess I did, mom."

Dean then put his picture back into his bag and walked to his father.

"Dad?"

"Yes, buddy."

"This is fun and all, but we just got back from Colorado, and I am really tired."

"You know, I am pretty tired too."

"So am I," began Runt. Stinky and Claudette let out a yawn.

"Well," began Kate. "We would love to stay, but I think we all need to rest after our trip."

"Go home, Kate," said Winston. "You earned it."

Tikanni began to speak.

"I think I'll head over to my cabin too, I need to see what I need to change to make it more of my home."

Talia then walked up to him.

"Ok, you know the way back, right."

"Yes, I know the way."

"You better not stay in that cabin for too long. I'll have to come and get you if you do. Come visit every once in a while."

"You know I'll have to do that to make sure you don't do anything crazy without me." The two then laughed, and then Tikanni looked at everyone.

"Good day to the rest of you, and it was nice to meet you."

Everyone said goodbye.

"Talk to you later, Dean."

"Bye Tuffy."

Tikanni soon left the den, and then the family left too. After some time, they almost made it back to their den, but before the could, Dean was tackled to the ground.

"Hi, Dean," said the excited child voice. Dean then began to laugh.

"Hi, Ty. Could you get off me?"

"Oh sure. So, your the leaders grandson now?"

"Yep, Ty, this is my mom, dad, brothers, and sister."

"Cool, more friends. Hello, I am Tyson, but my friends call me Ty."

Everyone said their hellos.

"Ok, I'll get going so you guy's can rest from your trip. I just wanted to welcome you back. You wanna play tomorrow."

"Can I ,mom?"

"I don't see why not."

"Can we come too," asked Claudette.

"Yeah," said Ty. "More friends to play with."

"Can we mom," asked Runt.

"Ok."

"Yeah, see you guy's tomorrow."

"See you, Ty," said Dean.

Once Ty left, everyone walked up the hill and into their den. Dean sat his stuff down, and turned into a pup. He then plopped down on the ground.

"The ground is so soft. I never want to leave this spot again."

"You can say that again," said Humphrey. Dean then mumbled something and soon fell asleep. Soon everyone else joined him.

Everyone was sleeping good, but, soon, Dean's mind began to wander. He began to dream. He opened his eyes to see that he was back with the blurry wolves. He then smiled. He felt calm and happy. He then walked closer to them. They didn't move this time. Dean wasn't afraid. He was ready for whatever happened next. He then hit something in his way. It felt like water. Dean then stuck his hand through. He then walked straight through. His eyes grew wide when he saw the other side. It was everyone. All the wolves. He then remembered his picture. This is what he was drawing. This scene was what he was trying to figure out. He then turned his head, and he saw two wolves. One was blonde with brown eyes just like him, and the other had black hair and Blue eyes. Dean felt as if he knew them. He then saw a black wolf with skeleton markings. come out next to the blonde wolf. Dean knew it was Waya, but he froze. He knew he was gone, but he then got the realization of who the other two were. Those were Jesse and Drew. The three walked up to Dean, and Jesse and Waya were talking.

"Waya," Began Jesse."The last time we fought, you were a wolf, and, Dean was born a few days before it. We gave each other a bloody nose. Sarah broke that fight up. I am a wolf now, so why not see who the winner is now?"

"It's no question, Jesse," said Waya. "I would wipe the floor with you."

Sarah rolled her eyes. She then looked at Dean, and she waved at him. Waya and Jesse did the same. They then turned into light, and the light struck Dean in his heart. He looked and realized that the light is in his heart. He then looked and saw that the wolves were smiling.

"Are you ready, Dean," asked Humphrey.

"For what?"

Dean then woke up.

He looked out and saw that it was morning. It was a little cold, so Dean silently shifted. He rubbed his nose, and realized it was indeed bleeding.

"Huh, weird," he thought. "Must be cause of the weather."

He stopped the bleeding and changed into sweats, and a sweatshirt. He didn't want to wear his cloak today. He had new shoes and socks. He then walked out. He sat on the ledge, he could see the bright blue sky, and he felt the wind. He felt different. He felt better. He closed his eyes, and could almost hear his family laughing. He knew that they were with him, and that dream said it all. They were apart of him. He continued to let the breeze hit him.

"Goodbye, my family, but I know that you truly haven't left me. You will always be apart of me, and I'll have the memories we shared, but now I will make new memories with my new family. I will be the best me I can be. With all my love, be well, Drew, Sarah, Jesse, and Waya." He then opened his eyes, and decided to do something else. He decided to how the other way his mother was talking about. He thought it was like singing. He turned into a pup, threw his head back, and began to howl. His voice was amazing. It was a beautiful song. He thought of it as a send off to the past. Once he was done he looked to see his family was up, and listening.

"You don't need Lilly's help," said Kate. "That was beautiful."

"Thanks mom."

Dean then remembered the question from his dream.

"I'm ready," he said.

"Ready for what, son," asked Humphrey.

"I am ready to start the rest of my life."
