Since Donna and Harvey got married and moved to Seattle for their new job, it was unusual for them to work on the weekend, but one rather hard-working case made them both work all day on Saturday.

The Saturday of their second wedding anniversary.

Popular belief is that the first year of marriage is the most difficult for couples due to the changes and adaptations in each partner's life, but obviously this was different with Donna and Harvey, they've known each other for years and better than anyone else. Of course they had some small arguments, but nothing to worry about.

The truth is, their first year was just perfect, as they were a couple of best friends and partners who together made a perfect team.

They had a little celebration when Harvey woke up Donna kissing her and with a huge breakfast tray for them, a big bouquet of white roses and a huge smile on his face as he wished her a happy anniversary. They ate coffee together and enjoyed each other's company until it was time for them to really start getting ready for work.

They share the shower together and that doesn't stop them from having a morning quickie as part of the wedding anniversary celebration.

Donna and Harvey are inside the huge closet. She's already properly made up and with her hair styled, wearing her white silk robe, she's trying to choose an outfit and he's finishing up buttoning the cufflinks on the opposite side of the room.

"It's our cotton wedding and well, I did some research and I think it's worth it for us to follow the traditions." He speaks hugging her from behind as he hands her a bag that she recognizes from a distance as being from Oscar de La Renta.

Donna's eyes light up when they see the black dress from the latest collection and she knows Harvey knew she wanted that model. She kisses him in thanks and then unties the knot of her robe so she can put on her new outfit.

"You will have your surprise tonight, mister!". Donna says turning to straighten his tie and then turns her back in front of him again.

"I can barely wait". He says with that smug smile, kissing the back of her neck when he finishes zipping her dress. "Neither do I," she replies, her tone a little nervous, but unnoticed by Harvey.

They leave for work and only return at dinnertime.

"Harvey!" Donna says in surprise when she enters the apartment and sees the dining table set, candles lit, Gordon's music playing and the presence of a private chef in the kitchen. "How?".

"I called our housekeeper and she stayed here cleaning while we were at work. Let's say that today we will have a piece of Canlis at home"

" You are impossible". Donna says smiling as she kisses him and pulls him to sit down for dinner.

Dinner is delicious and washed down with little talks about them and going to New York next week for little Lucy Litt's two-year birthday.

She dispenses the wine and says she's still on antibiotics because of the stomach infection she got last week and is content to drink water. Harvey understands and, in turn, does not give up his scotch.

They finished the meal and now are alone again in the apartment. Sitting on the sofa and exchanging caresses, touches, and kisses, Donna interrupts them saying that she needs to give him his present and hurries off towards the guest room.

Harvey laughs at her almost childlike anxiety. He knows she loves giving presents as much as she loves receiving.

Returning to the living room with an Armani bag in hand, Donna finds Harvey standing in front of the fireplace, admiring the photos of his two weddings. He notices her presence and stares at her with those sparkling chocolate eyes she loves so much.

"I thought it was impossible for you to look even more beautiful than at our first wedding. I mean, the black dress was gorgeous, but seeing you in white walking towards me… it's something I'll never forget."

Donna feels her heart melt as she looks at the man she loves most in the world.

"I still remember every second of our weddings. I remember your smile and how my heart melted even more for actually marrying you, Harvey." She says looking at him deeply.

They stare at each other with affectionate eyes, having little wordless conversations. With a deep breath, Donna interrupts the moment and hands him the bag.

"A beautiful cotton gift for my beautiful man". She says and gives the bag to him.

"You really love three-piece suits, huh?" He says laughing after opening the gift.

" What can I say? My husband looks very hot in them". She responds teasingly, but with a slightly anxious tone.

Harvey was about to put the bag aside when he realized there was something else inside. He frowns and Donna looks at him expectantly.

Harvey feels his heart speed up and his hands shake when he sees the little gray cotton bodysuit and he immediately opens the envelope that comes with the tiny garment and reveals what was inside. His breath hitches when he actually sees.

It's a black and white ultrasound with Donna's delicate handwriting:

"Now, two hearts in love beat for you! See you in 8 months, daddy!"

Love, your baby.

"This is my little, for a while, surprise to you." She starts talking nervously. "I know it is kinda unplanned and we've been talking about this topic recently…"

"Donna…". He interrupts her and sighs. "Is this serious?" He asks, looking at her with his eyes shining with tears and his voice cracking. Her face is in shock but a positive kind of shock because she can see his smile.

"Of course it's serious, my love" She says with tears running down her face, but with a grin at the corner of her lips. "We're going to have a mini you or a mini me in our arms soon."

"So, your stomach infection was….?"

"It was just our little Paulsen-Specter making himself present in my body". Donna says laughing a little as she wipes away her tears.

Harvey opens the widest and most tender smile when he hears "little Paulsen-Specter". Although the subject of babies has been a recent topic in recent months, he always wanted to be a father and he always wanted Donna to be the mother of his children. And well, now it finally happened and soon they'll have a tiny human with their last names.

"God, I'm the happiest man in this world. I love you." Harvey says, placing his hand on her stomach and pulling her face down for a kiss. They kiss, slowly and deeply, their tongues touching, hands caressing the back of their necks and cheeks gently.

Soon the bag with the wedding gifts is forgotten on the sofa in the living room.

She guides him towards the bathroom, where in a matter of seconds some scented candles and a spa bath full of foam are present and, quickly, their clothes are discarded on the floor until they enter the bath and start to make love slowly.

They've finished a while ago and now they're just relaxing in each other's arms, the jets of water, the faint vanilla scent of the bath salts, the candle lights along with the dim bathroom lighting and Miles Davis songs by Harvey's playlist, creates an intimate and comforting atmosphere for them.

Harvey's left hand now rests on her still flat stomach, Donna's small, delicate hand rests on top of his, stroking her thumb with her big fingers. He looks at the rings on the pale skin of her belly and smiles

It's only their second wedding anniversary, but Harvey can't wait to celebrate every possible with her. Just like he can't wait to have his little baby in his arms.
