Here the story starts
In a building 🏢, a girl was shouting at a person
Girl - Daya take your damn headache medicine
Daya see her and say
Daya - I'm fine Diya
Diya - Yeah right, (tauntingly) whom are you lying too idiot, I can feel your headache so you better take that damn medicine or else I will kill you myself
Diya went to her desk mumbling. Daya had no other choice than listening to Diya. Everyone witnessed this and just smile because they all got used to it by now. At lunch time, Diya was working on her computer and Daya off the computer and say
Daya - Time for lunch Diya
Diya - Not hungry Daya, I have to finish this work by evening
Daya - You have been working since last night on this case file 📂
Diya - I know but I have to submit it to headquarters today so you go on and have your lunch
Daya - I'm not leaving you here all alone here
Diya - Daya please
Daya - Diya come with me or else I know how to take you down
Diya sigh heavily because she knew Daya won't lt her work anymore so she went down with him. In canteen, Daya and Diya sit beside each other and Abhijeet say
Abhijeet - I'm seriously getting jealous of you both
Daya and Diya - Why? What did we do to get you jealous?
Abhijeet - Can anyone say that you both are brother and sister... I mean I never seen a sibling like you guys . You both can feel each others pain, feelings and thoughts
Freddy - I do accept with Abhijeet sir
Diya - Say properly what you want to say Abhijeet bhai
Abhijeet - Where nowadays siblings are killing and hurting each other for for lots of things, you both are astonishing me every single day
Diya - Parents are not thinking before having another baby and they don't try to make a bonding between siblings and expect the siblings to do it themselves which is hard in this world
Daya - I do accept with Diya
A guy enter the canteen with irritation and mumbling and sit beside Tarika and she ask
Tarika - What is the problem Mr. Most Senior Inspector Jai? (teasingly)
Jai - Don't start it Tarika... I don't know what will I do with this behen of mine. That girl is angry on me for not coming to meet her in Delhi. I already messaged her that I won't be able to come because of work but she is saying that I don't love her like her friend's brother do. I don't have to prove her that I love her
Diya - How is she adjusting there?
Jai - 🆗 but my mother is worried about her a lot as always
ACP Pradyuman - Why don't you take some leave now and go see her
Jai - No sir, she is just mad that I did not call her and tell her that I can't be there. I will manage her later at evening at video call. What you guys were talking about? (curiously)
Dr. Salunke - We were just talking about Daya and Diya's bonding
Pankaj - Jai sir tell us about your younger sister
Jai - Nothing much special about her. She is few years younger to me. Average in school life. Maa and papa's love child and she works in CID
Purvi - How about your relationship sir?
Jai - Regular sibling bonding. She gets all the attention but my parents love both of us the same way. We fight like every other siblings but we love each other. I just hope that she gets her transfer here so that maa will stop worrying about her
Daya looks at Diya and holds her hand ️ tightly and nodes his head with a soft smile which was noticed by Abhijeet. Tasha ask
Tasha - Jai sir would your younger sister join our team? (excitedly)
Jai - I don't want her to join our team. She is a total headache for me but she wants to join our team just because of few reasons
Purvi - What reasons?
Jai - I don't know and I don't want to know. As long as she is not working here, I will be very much happy
Dr. Salunke - Jai you are so mean
Jai - I don't care whatever you guys say
Diya - Okay guys leave this topic and let's finish our lunch
They all agreed with Diya and have their lunch. At Diya and Daya's house 🏡, in Diya's room, Diya was sitting at the railing of the balcony and was looking at the stars ✨. Silently wiping her tears and she suddenly heard her bade bhai Daya's voice.
Daya - What are you complaining about me maa?
Diya looked at him and say
Diya - Nothing... Just talking to her as always
Daya stand beside her, knowing what she was crying for and say
Daya - No one could have saved her life so stop blaming yourself for her death
Diya - If I was a little bit more careful... (got cut by Daya)
Daya - Diya you were just six years old and for your age you did what you knew. Stop blaming yourself for something you didn't have control. If it wasn't for that day, she would have eventually would have died. Did you forget what papa said to us?
Diya - She died with a smile on her face
Daya - Yes... She died without any further pain and suffering
Daya look at the stars ✨ and say
Daya - She is happy that she had you with her. She died in peace... Now let's go to sleep, its getting late or else maa will be mad at me that I'm not taking care of you properly and she will start to haunt my dreams again
Diya laughs at Daya and went to her bed and slept while Daya was caring her hair with a smile. He looked at the stars ✨ and say
Daya - I just wish you were here maa.
Daya see his behen and kiss on her head and went to his room and sleep.
