Apollo Justice was walking alone on the streets alone dressed in a hoodie and a beanie. He was doing this because had turned in his badge after Turnabout for Tomorrow ended and Phoenix had failed to defend Simon Blackquill cause he was useless and stupid. Apollo partially blamed himself for not seeing Phoenix for the buffoon that he was and that he should have listened to John Phoenix. Because of this he decided he was no longer worthy of being a lawyer.
Just then he heard on the news that someone at the Phoenix Anything Agency was arrested and it was John Phoenix!
Apollo Justice ran to court!
"I'M FINE" he yelled!
"Good" said John Phoenix. "I need you to defend me, Apollo."
"But I'm not a lawyer any more!"
John Phoenix showed Apollo his badge. "Swap."
So Apollo and John Phoenix's swapped, now Apollo wore the green shirt and lawyer badge, while John Phoenix wore the shirt and red vest.
Apollo looked in the mirror, if he cut his hair spikes off he'd look just like John Phoenix himself! But he didn't because that would be a severe case of impersonation.
The trial started.
"Court's in session" said the judge.
"Okay," said Gaspen Payne. "The green monkey murdered the yellow monkey. That yellow monkey's name is Athena Cykes."
"OBJECTION!" shouted Apollo "Athena Cykes... ISN'T CANON!"
"NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH" screamed Payne and his toupee fell off his head.
After the trial...
"I knew you had it in you!" said John Phoenix warmly. "You saved not just me, but also Uncle Phoenix."
"He's right," said Phoenix, who wasnt a hobo any more. "Since Athena's not canon then I couldn't have lost her trial because she couldn't have had a trial in the first place. Thanks Apollo, that was one of the greatest turnabouts I've ever seen."
