"Last time on Total Drama Island, twenty two campers arrived and learned that they'll be spending the next eight weeks at the crusty old summer camp. The campers we're faced with their first challenge, jumping off a cliff into the shark-infested waters. While most campers took the plunge, a few were forced to wear the dreaded chicken hat. At the campfire ceremony, it all came down to two campers, Amy the evil twin, or Max the evil wannabe, in the end it was Max who got eliminated proving that supervillains and reality tv don't mix." Chris recapped "Who will be voted off this week in this dramatic campfire ceremony yet? Find out tonight on Total... Drama...Island."

The episode opened with a shot of Chris approaching the cabins, megaphone in hand. He then lifted first the megaphone, and then an air horn and blew the horn into the megaphone with a grin, and the scene cut to the inside of one of the cabins as the loud noise rang in the background Leshawna woke up and hit her head on the top bunk of her bunk bed "Ow, it's seven in the morning do I look like a farmer to you?"
A flash transitioned to a while later with all the campers outside their cabins.
"Morning!" Chris addressed the obviously-tired campers. "Hope you slept well!"
"Hi Chris, nice shorts." Sierra said happily.
"Thank you Sierra." Chris said before addressing the campers "Okay! I hope you're all ready because your next challenge begins in exactly one minute!"
"Wait, I'm not sure that's enough time to have breakfast." Dave pointed out.
"Oh you'll get breakfast Dave, right after you complete your twenty kilometer run around the lake." Chris smirked.
"Just great." Gwen rolled her eyes.
Soon a flash transitioned to the campers at the starting line, "Okay runners!" Chris called "On your marks! Get set! Go!"
Soon we see Cody walking next to Gwen as he began speaking flirtatiously "Hey Gwen, fancy seeing you here."
"Don't walk beside me." Gwen said before running off.
Cody sighed before Dawn began walking beside him.
"I don't mean to offend you, but you aren't going to get with Gwen, you should probably give up and spare yourself any heartbreak." Dawn told Cody.
Cody then gasped in fear "Oh it's just you Dawn, and you don't know that, I'm gonna keep trying to get with her you'll see how wrong you are."
Dawn just shook her head as Cody ran off.
Confessional:
"Cody does not know but he and Gwen's auras do not intertwine. I hope he realizes that the two of them are not meant to be together or there will be heartbreak." Dawn explained.

Meanwhile Duncan and Harold were running side by side when Duncan tripped Harold into a mud puddle. Duncan began laughing as Harold was covered in mud.
"Hey What was that for?" Harold asked angrily.
"For fun." Duncan said before running off laughing.
Leshawna then helped Harold up and began speaking "Hey sorry about Duncan, you okay?"
"I'm fine." Harold said blushing "Also you don't need to apologize for Duncan it's not your fault."
"Okay then, come on we gotta keep going." Leshawna told Harold who began running alongside her.
Soon we cut to most of the campers in the cabins who all looked tired, the only ones missing were Amy, Sammy, Harold, Leshawna, Rodney, and Noah.
Leshawna then ran in carrying Harold who was breathing heavily.
"How come you're carrying Harold?" Sky asked.
"He had heart palpitations so I felt I should help him out." Leshawna explained.
Sammy then walked in carrying Amy who was demeaning the nice twin.
"Ugh way to go Samey we almost got last because of you." Amy rolled her eyes.
Sammy growled at this silently while the others glared at Amy.
Confessional:
"Ugh I am nearing my breaking point, I might actually say something to her." Sammy said angrily.

Soon Rodney showed up carrying Noah, the latter was currently unconscious.
"Clear a table stat." Rodney told everyone before he laid Noah on a table before pumping his chest.
"Leave this to me, I have proper CIT training." Courtney tapped Rodney's back who began blushing and we then see his point of view where his vision was pink.
Confessional:
"I'll do it her way, it's never wrong to let love be your guide." Rodney said happily.

"You… with breathing… and pump… and cherries." Rodney said before Courtney rolled her eyes "Whatever just let me handle this."
Courtney then began pumping Noah's chest which made him wake up and take a breath.
"Ah much better." Noah sighed in relief.
"Wait a minute if those two showed up last that means we won the challenge." Gwen said happily before the Screaming Gophers began cheering.
"Whoa there," Chris laughed as the camera cut to him shaking his head and hands, "hold your horses, guys!" He walked into the middle of the room and the shot shifted accordingly. "That wasn't the challenge!"
"Excuse me?" Amy said immediately. "What do you mean that wasn't the challenge?"
We then see a purple curtain covering something as Chris began pulling the curtain away "Who's hungry?"
Confessional:
"After a whole week of sludge I almost cried when I saw that buffet." Dave confessed.

"Man, that food could last me and my family for a while season." Rodney admitted.

We then see a few scraps of food were left, the campers were on the ground groaning as they were all clearly tired from eating all that food.
Chris then stood on the table and began announcing through his megaphone "Okay campers! Time for part two of your challenge!"
"What more do you want from us?" Gwen asked angrily.
"Weird Goth Girl is right haven't we been through enough already?" Heather asked, patting her stomach as Gwen glared at Heather.
"Let me think about that, no, it's time for the Awake-a thon."
"The what a thon?" Dave asked.
"Don't worry!" Chris answered, hopping down to the floor. "This is an easy one! The team with the last camper standing wins invincibility!"
"So what you're saying is the twenty-kilometer run and the turkey buffet were meant to make it harder for us to stay awake?" Sky asked.
"That's right." Chris answered.
"Man he's good." Jo said making Leshawna nod.
"Move! Move! Move!" Chris said into his megaphone, making all the campers head for the door.
We then see the campers at the campfire area where the eliminations are normally held. All of them are still awake.
"We are now twelve hours in with all twenty one campers still awake." Chris said in a soft voice.
Confessional:
"The awake-a thon was the most brutal thing I have ever done in my life." Gwen confessed.

Gwen yawns sitting next to DJ.
"This is the most boring thing I have ever done in my life." Gwen said.
"Well it might help if we talk to each other." DJ said.
"Sure I guess that might help." Gwen shrugged.
Heather sees this and quirks an eyebrow.
Confessional:
"So my strategy is to align with two people and get to the final three, the question is, who is desperate and enough to do what I say?" Heather asked.

We then see Dave rubbing a bunch of sanitizer on himself while Sierra is seen sitting alone.
"Perfect, hey Sierra, Dave can I talk to you for a moment?" Heather asked.
"Sure." Sierra said enthusiastically.
Dave shrugged and went up to join Heather.
"So I have a plan to take two people to the final three and I chose you guys." Heather said.
"Really?" Sierra asked happily.
"You should know that this is a big deal. I am putting my trust in the both of you and trust is a two way street." Heather told Sierra and Dave.
Sierra and Dave nodded at this.
"So you'll join me?" Heather asked.
"Sure." Sierra said happily.
"I don't see why not." Dave shrugged.
Confessional:
"Do I know Heather's manipulating me, yes." Dave said bluntly "But I'll ally with her and Sierra for now until the time is right to get rid of her."

Meanwhile Noah is sitting down reading but then Jo walks up to him.
"Don't worry bookworm, you may have screwed up a bit but I've got your back." Jo said putting a hand on Noah's left shoulder before whispering "Alliance, you and me, okay?"
"Sure." Noah shrugged.
"Good now try not to fall asleep too early, I don't need you getting voted off." Jo said.
Confessional:
"Despite my physical prowess I need to keep some of my teammates loyal. I'll start with Noah and work my way up." Jo explained.

Soon we see that it is nighttime and that Amy, B, Cody, Dave, and Harold have fallen asleep.
"Congratulations, campers!" Chris announced. "You've made it to the twenty-four hour mark! Time to take things up a notch!"
We then see Chris take out a book "Fairy tales."
Chef then walked over to Chris wearing a sheep costume and carrying a harp.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me." Gwen said angrily.
Chef began to strum. "Once...upon a time..." Chris began slowly and softly. "There was...inside this boring kingdom… a boring village. And inside this boring, sleepy, village… filled with very boring children..."
Soon Rodney fell asleep making the scores even.
After a while Then Dance Of the Sugar Plum' music plays as Chef begins dancing like a ballerina tossing dust at the campers' face making them sleepy.
It was enough to make Mike, Dawn, Geoff, and Leshawna fall asleep.
Meanwhile Gwen and DJ were still talking.
"So favorite color?" DJ asked.
"Midnight blue." Gwen answered.
"Ooh Nice I like that." DJ nodded.
"Favorite movie moment?" Gwen asked.
"You're gonna think it's cheesy." DJ giggles.
"I promise I won't." Gwen said.
"Okay. The kiss at the end of that road trip movie. You know, the one with the guy and the three girls?" DJ answered.
"I remember that, it's cool you like that." Gwen said happily.
Soon Jasmine began whispering to Sammy.
"Now that your sister is sleeping I'd like to talk." Jasmine said.
"Okay, what do you wanna talk about?" Sammy asked.
"I don't mean to intrude but why do you never stand up to your sister, she seems to treat you badly, you shouldn't just take that sitting down." Jasmine replied.
"Oh she always finds a way to make me look bad when doing it or I'm ganged up on by her friends." Sammy explained.
"Oh sorry Sammy I had no idea." Jasmine said in sympathy.
"It's okay but you're right I should probably try again, maybe it'll work out." Sammy said with a smile.
Soon it was morning once again and currently only Gwen, DJ, Heather, Jasmine, Jo, Duncan, and Sky were the only ones awake, everyone else at this point were asleep.
Duncan then put a cup of warm water on Harold's hand making the nerd pee his pants.
"Oh gross dude peed his pants." Duncan laughed, making Harold cover his pants with his hands.
What's the matter with you kids, c'mon fall asleep already." Chris said, smirking with some coffee. "Okay the six of you stay with me the rest of you get a shower you stink."
As the rest of the campers left, Chris began speaking.
"I didn't want to do this, I said that to Chef Hatchet last night I said 'Chef I didn't want to do this' but here we are, the History Of Canada Chapter One." Chris said.

"Oh come on, you know what bring it on." Gwen glared at the camera.

As Chris was reading Heather, Sky, and DJ fell asleep.
"Well time for a bathroom break, any takers?" Chris asked.
"I've held it for this long sweethearts, I can go all day." Duncan said snidely to Gwen and Jasmine.
"Yeah but can you hold it for another ten chapters?" Jasmine asked in a daring tone.
"You've got five minutes as long as you don't mind a little company." Chris told Duncan as he got up from the log.
"Fine but stay out of the stall." Duncan told the cameraman, who nodded.
After five minutes, the cameraman knocks on the stall.
"Duncan, you in there dude?" The cameraman asked opening the stall to see Duncan sleeping on the toilet.
Soon we see Chris looking impatient as an intern hands him a note "It looks like Duncan fell asleep on the can."
Gwen then fell asleep, saddening Jasmine as she was their only hope.
Jasmine and Jo then glared at each other but both felt really tired and the first one to fall asleep was…

Jo.
"And Jasmine wins the Awake-a thon." Chris said lifting Jasmine's arm up.
"Yay." Jasmine weakly cheers before she fell to the ground, making Chris let go of her arm.
Soon we see Jo talking to Noah at the campfire area.
"So who are we voting for, Harold I presume." Noah asked.
"Actually I plan on voting out B instead." Jo smirked.
"Why B? He's a strong member of our team."
"He's too strong and can easily dominate this competiton, I'll go talk to Duncan and Sky about it while you talk to Leshawna and Harold about it, okay?"
"Crystal." Noah smirked.
Soon we see Leshawna and Harold at the beach talking when Noah shows up.
"Hey there." Noah said with a forced smile.
"What's up with you turkey?" Leshawna asked.
"I just wanted to ask if you were okay with voting out B." Noah said.
"Why B he's one of our most useful teammates, why shouldn't we vote you out instead?" Leshawna asked suspiciously.
"Because B is a stronger and smarter contestant than all of us, he can cruise his way through the competition." Noah said.
Leshawna looked at Harold before the latter spoke "We'll think about it."
"That's all I ask." Noah smiled before he left.
Meanwhile Jo got Duncan and Sky for a meeting at the campfire.
"Thank you two for showing up, now here's a matter I'd like to discuss and that is eliminating B." Jo said.
"Why B? He's a pretty valuable teammate." Sky asked.
"Because short stack, he's a big threat, he's strong and smart and can easily make it to the final two and possibly even win if we keep him around." Jo explained.
"I guess you make a fair point." Sky said "I guess I'll vote for B."
"Me too." Duncan said carving a piece of wood.
Confessional:
"Perfect, as long as Noah's conversations with Leshawna and Harold went well. B's as good as gone." Jo laughed.

Soon it is night time and we see the Killer Bass at the campfire ceremony.
""You've all cast your votes and made your decision," Chris said holding the plate in both hands. "There are only ten marshmallows on this plate. When I call your name, come up and claim your marshmallow." Chris told everyone at the ceremony "The camper who does not receive a marshmallow, must immediately return to the Dock of Shame, catch the Boat of Losers, and leave and you can never come back, ever."
"The first marshmallow goes to Leshawna." Chris said.
Leshawna smirked as she stood up and got her marshmallow.
"Geoff."
"Yeah." Geoff said happily as he went to get his marshmallow.
"Sky."
"Yes." Sky cheered before getting her marshmallow.
"Rodney."
Rodney smiles as he went to collect his marshmallow.
"Courtney."
Courtney smirked with pride as she went up to the plate to get her marshmallow.
"Dawn."
Dawn beamed as she went to receive her marshmallow.
"Jo."
Jo smirked as she went to get her marshmallow and ate it.
"Duncan."
Duncan smirked as well as he stood up to get his marshmallow.
"Harold."
"Phew." Harold sighed in relief before going up to get his marshmallow.
Noah looked nervous while B looked confused at why he was in the bottom two.
"The final marshmallow goes to…" Chris began.

Noah smirked as he collected his marshmallow.
B looked shocked at this as Dawn went to hug him "If it's any consolation I didn't vote for you and I hope we can be friends."
B nodded at this as he went to the Dock Of Shame.

Courtney: Noah has to go, I mean he's not really useful.
Dawn: Noah may not be a bad person but he is not doing much, my apologies Noah but I vote for you.
Duncan: Jo makes a solid point about B, I vote for B.
Geoff: Noah is a major downer so I vote for him.
Harold: Leshawna and I decided to vote B with Noah. Sorry B but you gotta go.
Jo: I'm voting out B for reasons I've already mentioned.
Leshawna: Me and Harold talked and we both decided to vote for B.
Noah: I'm voting for B.
Rodney: Courtney's really amazing, she just makes me lose my words. Oh right, the vote I vote for Noah.
Sky: It hurts to say this but I'm voting out B.
