Goren, the day after Deakins' sermon, and with his ban on going to see Eames, did have the idea of going to see her.

He would do as he pleased and go back to her.

It didn't matter to him...

Bobby wanted to go to see Alex, and nothing would stop him from going to see him, not even the sermon, and Deakins' ban.

To do that he would have to tie him up, or lock him up, but still he would find a time to go.

He had endured Deakins' sermon all the way home, cramming it into his head, to the point that he had migraines.

He kept telling him he'd lost his mind, and that he'd better come to his senses before any drama.

If not for himself, at least for Eames...

Goren knew Deakins was saying this for their own good.

But still, he could have put a damper on it instead of getting him drunk like he did.

But how to make their captain understand that this was not just a passing fancy, and that it was serious between them two.

Moreover, Goren had promised Eames to come, and he could not betray his promise.

Alex had admitted to him that she hated this place, and that if she put up with this infiltration, it was because he was coming.

Otherwise, she would have stopped a long time ago.

But she couldn't do that.

Even if Deakins would be understanding, and he would have looked for someone else.

She knew she would get her captain in trouble if she asked him to stop, and she didn't want that.

Deakins had always been there for her and Goren, even during the worst of times.

She couldn't let him down.

But now it was different.

Since Deakins had found out about her relationship with Goren, he might not be so compassionate.

Goren couldn't not go...

He couldn't do that to Emaes.

And above all, he wanted to see her.

The days were long without her, and he always looked forward to the time when he could see her again, to the point of watching the big clock and its hands all the time.

But this time, he would be more careful.

He would try to arrange to change their meeting times, and that way Deakins would not see it.

If he never left at the same time, who would suspect that he was going to join Eames.

But he would still watch his back.

Who knows if Daekins wouldn't smell a trick.

Deakins wasn't a captain for nothing.

But what Deakins didn't know was that after Eames' incubation, when it was over, he was determined to ask Alex, to come live with him.

That way, he could see her every day, see her wake up in the morning, have her next to him every night, have her sleep in his arms, hear her laughter, make love to her whenever he wanted, no more restraints, no more prohibitions, and he wouldn't have to hide anymore.

Goren wanted their relationship to be out in the open.

He wanted to be able to love Eames in the open.

He was willing to do anything to be with Eames, even if it meant changing partners, or if he had no other choice, changing units.

Bobby did not want to be separated from Alex for a single moment of his life.
