Chapter 3: How To Make Friends (Stalkers) Accidentally
Looking back now, Tsuna knew that he should have known better.
His mother, sweet Nanamama is without a doubt, a Sky. A latent one of course. Why he didn't noticed that before is absurd.
Refreshing his knowledge of canon on his phone and jutting down her behavior under the typical flame behavior that the mafiosos so liked to use in various fanfics, she'll definitely fit in as a sky, perhaps sun and a rain as well, but ultimately a sky.
Though it should be noted that the flame behavior thing from the Mafia should be taken with a grain of salt (Because really, does Tsuna look like a typical sky at all to you? Or Xanxus for that matter? Granted, he's also a Storm, but still). So he end up relying on his flame sense to take a look. It's a little hard with her being latent and with him only having fanfiction knowledge and what little lore he could dig from the entire series. It took a few trial and errors and when he finally get it right, oh boy, she's a Lightning with a Sky secondary and a little sprinkle of Rain on the side.
Which make sense since the Reborn Wiki did said that she is a Lghtning on the card game. And the rain and sky would also explain things on why she just seems to accept things so easily and immediately thinks that nothing is wrong and everything is fine. Just to the extreme. On top of the whatever mind fuckery going on on her, you got a recipe for a air headed mother to the extreme, putting it in a certain white haired boxers words.

[Or else.]
"Tsu-kun! Nari-kun! You're going to be late for school!"
…that said, she does have some moments of clarity in her sometimes, so there's that at least.
"Coming!"
With that, he dragged out Nari-chan off the bed (the lazy bum, if Tsuna can't get to sleep longer himself, then he shouldn't be able to as well).
"Niii-tan, noooo! Leave me alone in the bed!" The blond whined at being wake up, stubbornly hiding under the blanket. Tsuna ignore his protests and carry the boy out the bed regardless of his shrieking.
"Nice try clamling, we're late for school."
Nari-chan just shrieked as he manhandle him on his shouder like a bag of potatoes.
It was a bright, sunny day when Tsuna introduced Shoichi and Ienari to each other.
But he swear he saw thunder and lightning in the background when the two of them met.
The two glare at each other (though it looks more like a pout which is adorable by the way if you asked him) and he could see metaphorical lightning clashing from their eyes.
"Nii-tan likes me better."
"No, Tsuna-san—"
Tsuna sweatdropped at the hostility and competitive spirit between the two. Are they… are they fighting over him? Seriously? Is Nari-chan jealous because he found an adorable friend with glasses that is Sho-chan when he wasn't looking? Or if it is something relating to flames, then is he jealous and wary for his Element position? Nari-chan is Tsuna's Lightning and Sun at the same time after all. Not just lightning, but both due to his unique sealing circumstances. It would make sense if he was subconsciously worrying about his Sun position with Sho-chan being a Sun. Not that Tsuna cared about the singular choice of Elements as Guardians and elemental roles like "To draw damage to their self and away from the rest of the Famiglia, serving as a lightning rod" for Lightnings and "Destroying the misfortune that attacks the Famiglia with their own body, they become the Sun that brightly shines upon an area" for Suns that the Vongola and the majority of the Cosa Notra preaches to everyone.
Anyway, back to the two awkward cinnamon rolls glaring (read: pouting) at each other. Tsuna flicked both of their foreheads, which elicit shrieks from the two of them. One 'Hiie' and one 'Eeep'.
Wonderful, as if Tsuna himself wasn't already shrieking enough himself in this life, the two kids just got to had shrieking habits themselves too. Next thing he knew is they'll be called the 'Shrieking trio' or something in their neighborhood with the three of them having shrieking habits.
"Alright, enough of that. I didn't had the two of you meet just to fight."
Shoichi clutched his stomach, "I—! Eem… w-we're not fighting."
Still pouting, Nari-chan nodded along.
Tsuna rolled his eyes at the two. They just only met and they're already scheming right in front of him, how cute.
"Sure, anyway. I had gather the two of you here for an important news."
"Erm… Tsuna-san, why do you sound like a politician?"
"Yeah, Nii-tan. Why you sound like your running for mayor?"
These brats, one minute they're fighting and the next moment they're already ganging up on him. Kids sure change their minds and attitudes so quickly do they? They didn't even let him finish setting up his pun.
Tsuna flashed them a grin full of teeth and Shoichi and Ienari could suddenly feel some kind of dread looming over them, "Forget it. Screw the puns, were going straight to the training montage."
Tsuna cackled when his brother paled and Shoichi clutched his stomach and shrieked, "T-Training?!"
"Yes, training montage."
Staring at his twin's face, Ienari whimpered. He knew he should have stayed on the bed longer today.
At the end of the day, Shoichi and Ienari became besties. Bonding over their shared suffering under Tsuna's training, they immediately get on like a house on fire after that.
Fortunately, it's only figuratively. Tsuna sighed at the image of Shoichi and Ienari throwing Molotov cocktail at their house.
…he knew he shouldn't have taught Shoichi how to create DIY explosions. Now Nari-chan is giving him sparkling puppy eyes and is begging him to teach him how as well.
Wonderful, now the image of two kids laughing in front of a burning house is going to stick on his head forever. As if the memories of Otou-sama and his other adopted gremlin siblings from his past life cackling like some kind of demented Eldritch Demon God, complete with mind fuckery courtesy of Will Exertion and Impression, around the burning pile of Paperworks wasn't enough as it is.
It's final, what ever curse that Otou-sama suffer from in the past that make it so that he would have random encounters, is also attached to him now.
(He could clearly remembered it. Every week or so, Otou-sama would bring home orphans or homeless people. When Ļ̵̴̝̯̪̾̃̍̓͟͞ͅ@̴̷̗̠̙͓̟̥̭̜̽͂̆ͫ̀ͫͭͯͨ͘͡͡͏̷̢̧̘̼͕̬̂ͤ͂̏͢͜͡͝ロ̸͇̹͕̯ͧͮ̌ͥ́́͘̕ー̰̜̹̙̄͐̈́̍͠͏̨͘͝ was asked to tagged along once in a walk to the book store when he was sixteen (Otou-sama was really strange. Personally walking to a cheap bookstore for a book when he could just asked one of the maids or his Butler to do so. Hell, he could even asked him and literally anyone of his adopted children and his other employees to do so, they would have done it in a flash in a heartbeat but he and Lucas-ji-sama always preferred to do things personally, which might have explain why he has so many papeworks despite having literally everyone who would willingly do anything for him. Yes, even paperwork, kill someone or clean the toilet with their bare hands and drink from from the bowl like a dog. Not that he would asked them to do that though of course, he doesn't seem fine with how much control and influence he had over them and Ļ̵̴̝̯̪̾̃̍̓͟͞ͅ@̴̷̗̠̙͓̟̥̭̜̽͂̆ͫ̀ͫͭͯͨ͘͡͡͏̷̢̧̘̼͕̬̂ͤ͂̏͢͜͡͝ロ̸͇̹͕̯ͧͮ̌ͥ́́͘̕ー̰̜̹̙̄͐̈́̍͠͏̨͘͝), he immediately agreed and tagged along. And boy, it was a one, wild ride. Throughout their entire walk to the bookstore, they had already encounter a lot of mugging, fights and many other crimes. He watched in awe at the sidelines as Otou-sama personally beat street thugs, drug dealers and an assassin who was somehow in there for some suspicious reason, with nothing but his bare hands and a shoe just to make things interesting when he became bored with beating them with his hands. And while doing that, picking up street children and homeless people with him and bringing them back to the mansion just like what he had done to Ļ̵̴̝̯̪̾̃̍̓͟͞ͅ@̴̷̗̠̙͓̟̥̭̜̽͂̆ͫ̀ͫͭͯͨ͘͡͡͏̷̢̧̘̼͕̬̂ͤ͂̏͢͜͡͝ロ̸͇̹͕̯ͧͮ̌ͥ́́͘̕ー̰̜̹̙̄͐̈́̍͠͏̨͘͝himself when they picked him up from the streets of Italy when he was thirteen. He gave those orphans and the homeless homes and jobs cause he feel like he could do something and that it felt nice to help. Though he did deny it whenever he was asked by other people. He would just say that he's helping them cause he feel like it. It was strange seeing the cool and badass father figure that raised them pout at them adorably whenever that happens.)
He's cursed now. And there's nothing he could do to remove it. Staring at the playground as delinquents beat up some kid on the ground, he just knew that this is now his life and that he is now cursed with the protagonist curse or something along the line.
He cracked his knuckles and called them out, "Hey asshats!!"
The leader turn to him, visibly annoyed at the interruption, "What do you want?! We're kinda busy here you know!!"
The one beside him laughed, "Scram! Go hide under your mom's skirt!"
"Yeah! Go hid—!" The other one sneered at him before pausing when his eyes fell on his appearance. The preteen began to pale and look at his friends in panic.
"Oi, oi, isn't that Sawada?!"
Tsuna grinned at them, as he cracked his knuckle with a loud crack, making them flinch at the sound. "Wow, so I'm famous now huh?"
The others paused and take a good look at him and they all began to pale.
"Shit—!"
Looking at the delinquents on the ground, Tsuna grinned. They flinched at the sight and whimpered as their whole body hurt.
"So what do we learned?" He chirped at the preteens on the ground.
The one who identified him first grunted in pain, he had this expression that looks as though he wished that he hadn't been born at all. "…don't bully the weak."
"And…?" He motioned his hand for them to continue.
The leader of the group twitched and groaned from the pain, "That being a bully and an asshole only make us pathetic than what we already are…"
Tsuna smiled brightly at them, sunshine and rainbows suddenly appearing out of nowhere (he finally figured out how it's done. The thing where you summon sunshine, rainbows and glitters everywhere whenever you smile. All thanks to Nari-chan's help) and everyone around had to cover their eyes at how bright it was. He could hear someone muttering something suspiciously sounded like "Kami, what the fuck? Are those glitters? And rainbows? What the fuck?" He ignore them, no need to break them more than what is necessary.
He turn to the kid who they had been beating up earlier. He looked dazed and staring at him. He doesn't looked to much injured, a few scrapes and bruise here and there, dirtied clothes, and face wet from tears. Other than that, he doesn't look worst than the ones sprawled on the ground. "Still hanging there?" He asked the kid. The kid blinked and that seems to snapped him out of whatever trance he was in.
"H-huh?"
"I asked if you're okay."
He flushed red and stammered a response, "I- a erm… I'm f-fine? I-I mean, I'm fine! Y-yes, I'm okay! Thank you!"
He wave it off and smiled, "It's fine, no need to thank me or anything. Anyway, I'm named Tsuna by my parents. You?"
"I'm Izumo! T-thank you again Tsuna-san!"
"I already said that it's okay so—"
"Herbivores"
Tsuna's intuition flared and he jumped back and evade a particularly vicious strike from a black haired kid with a iron tonfas and v shaped bangs like some kind of unholy union between Kirito and Hijikata and—
Hibari Kyouya?
He kicked one of the delinquent on the ground away from his path without batting an eye. The teen yelped and curled further on the ground on pain.
Tsuna whistle at the sight. Man, this boy is brutal. Kicking someone when their already down.
"You're disturbing the peace in Namimori."
Tsuna snorted at that, "disturbing the peace" his ass, he's just walking when he saw these brats beating up that Izumo kid to the ground.
"Are you sure about that Tori-chan?"
He ignored the looks of horror on the face of everyone watching when he called Hibari "Tori-chan" (We'll, it fits. Skylark is a bird after all) and subtly walk away from the kids sprawled on the floor to avoid hurting them more if Hibari decides to attack.
And like he expected, Hibari didn't take kindly being called "bird-chan" at all. He glared at him and shift his tonfas.
"I'll bite you to death."
The savage kid swing full force at him. It was fast, wild, unrefined, yet It is one without wasted movement. Out of habit, Tsuna swinged at him.
Then he promptly remembered that he doesn't had any weapons on him. The package he received from h!m didn't included his personal weapon at all. Only his phone, research datas and few relics. The hand made weapon that Otou-sama gifted and trusted to him as the proof of him being the head of the Occult Division is not there.
He's weaponless, fighting an abnormally strong kid with metallic tonfas without having any weapon himself nor the option to use Qigong as he still doesn't had fine control over it. If he use it on him, he could very well kill him with a single wrong move.
He mentally shuddered, like Hell he is going to deal with the Storm Arcobaleno and explain how he maimed his Not-Nephew-Relative-Something—Whatever.
Yeah, nope.
While he was mentally mulling his actions while in hyper focus, he felt a familiar shift in his Qi. Something that he had done so much that it had became second nature from his past life. Something that had passed over to this new life if the way he had swinged earlier was anything to go by.
There was a clang of metal as Hibari's tonfa met something on his hand that was previously wasn't there.
A black coloured metal Jitte ridden with ornamental gravings.
His personal weapon.
He watched as Hibari's eyes widen in surprise at the sudden appearance of them. Taking advantage of the momentary opening while temporarily pushing his own surprise aside, he stomped on Hibari's feet and strike hard on the tonfas enough to push him back and gained some distance.
Hibari grinned, he looked really thrilled for some reason. Like he just found a brand new toy on the toy store to buy and destroy at home.
"I'll bite you to d—!"
Tsuna didn't wait for him to finish his catch phrase.
[Uncanny: Feisty Hydra]
His hand and weapon blurred so fast that they leaved afterimages of multiple hands striking.
Hibari Kyouya dropped like a sack of potatoes to the ground.
Tsuna dusted his hands and clothes as grinned at his work.
The teens that had been bullying that Izumo kid and the said kid are still around, staring at the thing hanging at the tree branch in baffle with their mouth wide opened and reaching the ground.
He let them be.
Instead, he stared at the weapon in his hand. It's strange that it just appeared on his hand all of a sudden at a very convenient time. Like some kind of bullshit shounen power up in the heat of the moment.
As he further ecamined it, he came to the conclusion that it's real, and not a mist construct like he initially thought.
He remember his Qi flaring before his Jitte, 「凄雲」-「Seiun」 (Uncanny Cloud) (Otou-sama really liked naming things that way. It's a weeb way of naming things and it rubbed on everyone around him. It did fit though and he actually like the name and the way Otou-sama name things. Then again, he's biased about everything about Otou-sama to be honest), appeared on his hand to block Hibari's tonfa. It flared in a familiar way that he could only remember as the [Qi Space technique]. Which works in the same concept as a hammer space to store things that are non-living inside it (Otou-sama admitted that he based it from Ranma 1/2 and the fanon theories about it). The number of things that can be stored are parallel to one's Qi. Considering his current amount of Qi, that's a lot.
Now that he thinked about it, this is the first time he accessed his Qi space ever since his transmigration. He hadn't wanted to try and use them before due to his still wonky control on his Qi and considering what happened when he did first tried to use his Qi on that rock, his reluctance to try any kind of action regarding his Qi isn't exactly unfounded.
He twirled [Seiun] in his hand and with a sleigh of hand, it vanished and return to his Qi space. He heard someone gasp behind him but he ignore them. He's busy on figuring things out at the moment.
It's a surprise that his Qi space still has everything inside it despite his reincarnation. He thought that they would all been gone if he tried to access his Qi space in this life. He pulled out a bokken from his Qi space and switch to a kunai. Huh, it turns out that nigh perfect control over his Qi is somewhat unnecessary when using Qi space. He never did notice. He always preferred having fine control over his Qi that he didn't noticed that it doesn't really needed to be like that when it's just Qi space that you're using.
Well, now it would be easier to stabilized his Qi with [Seiun] on his hands. Otou-sama made it so that it could be use to focus Qi after all. He used to lent it to his Foster siblings as some kind of training wheels when their having trouble on controlling their Qi as well as Lei due to his large Qi reserves.
Well, looks like more research material for him it seems.
He stashed away the kunai and turn to the dazed kids gawking behind him. He smiled and turn to the bullies that is for some reason, still slumped on the floor and didn't bother to stand up, "I hope you guys learned your lesson for today."
The brats blinked out of their stupor and immediately straighten their backs, even that Izumo kid, and give him a salute. "H-Hai! W-we understand!"
Weird, did he scared them that much or something? (Yes, apparently, he did) he shrugged the thought out of his head and turn to the delinquent leader of the group, "Anyway, if I saw you guys doing this kind of shit again, let's just say that I won't be as lenient as I am now."
Pale as a ghost, they nodded hastily. Tsuna was worried that they would break their neck at the speed that they're going but everything seems fine with them. He turn to kid with purplish black hair named Izumo, "And you, be careful from now on okay? It's not always that there's gonna be someone that will help you out with bullies."
Just like those delinquents, he also nodded so fast that Tsuna can't help but worry about their neck and head. "H-hai Tsuna-san! I'll be careful from now on!"
He grinned at him, "You better do." Pulling out a que from his Adoptive Father's books, he tousled the kids hair before walking out of the playground.
After Tsuna leaved, everyone stared at the the thing that Tsuna had hanged in the tree branch like some kind of clothes on a hanger.
The leader of the bullies, Kensuke stared at it and to Tsuna's retreating back. He released a shaky breath in awe, terror and complete reverence.
"Oh my God, he just beat up Hibari and hanged him like a kitten on the tree branch."
Everyone agreed to his sentiment.
Tsuna release a low breath. His eyes are closed as he focus on his own body.
Candles are alight around him while the lights at the room are shut closed. It's dark, with only the candles lighting up the entire room.
He control his breathing and let his Qi and flames flow inside his body simultaneously. Doing so is not an easy task. Considering he still doesn't have fine control and manipulating two kind of energy simultaneously is putting a massive strain on his control. It's only due to his ESP that he could somehow manage it but only by little as he could barely use it to it's full potential with his focus being spread so thin between the three kinds of energy dancing on his body.
Sweat flowed on his face. Beside him, his brother wiped the sweat on his forehead. Even with his eyes closed, Tsuna could feel his brother's gaze over his form. Staring in worry with his honey brown coloured eyes with his brows scrunched in to a frown.
His brother sighed as he continue on wiping of the sweat on his face for him.
"Nii-tan," he said softly, not wanting to disturb his concentration. "Why do you keep doing this even though it's really hard?"
Tsuna let out a small smile, still in concentration with his eyes still closed. "Because I'm worried." He told cryptically to his brother, not wanting to tell him just yet. It will not be easy if you found out that you became borderline useless due to clumsiness and difficulty on retaining information because of some stranger that you thought that could be trusted after all.
The meaning clearly went over Ienari's head and he knew it. He sighed, putting down the towel as he sat on the floor beside Tsuna.
"Ne, Nii-tan…"
"Yes?"
"Would I understand what you really mean when we got older?" He asked his brother, his voice sounded small and hopeful.
Tsuna only gave a small, sad smile and a laugh to his brother, "Purgatory, maybe? Purghaps, you would. Who knows?"
Ienari sighed before groaning at his brother's pun, the topic completely forgotten at the moment.
Tsuna chuckled hearing his brother's reactions. His brother is a good kid. He's empathetic, caring, and quick to understand ques like that. He even volunteered to help him in his research, even if it's something as small as wiping the sweat on his face and fanning him gently. He hope that he'll stay like that as they grew older. He return to the task in hand after a few moments, monitoring his Qi and flames as he let them flow inside his body.
Mapping out the pathways inside his body is a monumental task. Much more as he is walking on the task almost like a blind bat in a open field. Coursing his energies, he took notes of the path that his flames and Qi took as well as all the routes that they take.
His brother wiped another batch of sweat from his forehead.
You must be wondering, why is he mapping out the energy pathways inside his body? It's simple.
It's all because of his brother's seal.
Yes, he's finally starting to work on it instead of ranting and barking at trees like a rabid dog that the Chihuahua in the next door was. He had brainstormed many ways to free his brother from his seal but it all came back to a single problem.
All of them are just theoretical.
Sure, some of them actually seems plausible like burning the seal away with Storm flames or overpowering the seal with his own flames. They make sense, the Storm flames would burn and disintegrate the seal while the other one using all of the flame types to overpower the seal and therefore breaking them.
Many of the theories seems sound but all of them are all just a theory.
A FLAME THEOOOORY!
Anyway, many of them like he said earlier, makes sense and sounded plausible. But they had many holes in them if you actually start looking. As well as informations that he still not aware of.
Like what method of sealing did Vongola Nono used on his brother? What will happen if he remove it? Who could say that his brother would be one hundred percent okay after he remove his seal without bothering to know the missing information that he doesn't have? Sure he could use his Hyper Intuition to guide him in the process but that is not enough.
He needed to know them before even trying to touch that pesky seal on his brother.
He exhaled, he's close to having an vague idea on what the energy pathways. It's obscure, and doesn't really showed much details. But what's important is that he had gained an overall estimation of them. Once he had the vague layout, it would be a lot more easier to add on the little details here and there. It actually reminded him of Chakra pathways from Naruto and the ones from actual Hinduism as well as acupuncture charts. So perhaps, he isn't exactly that far off.
Knowing these pathways might not seems relevant on removing his brother's seal but the fandom sometimes forgot that the humans in the canon KHRverse have something like a pathways of High density form of energy that are connected to flames and that they have a number of Waves of different attributes flowing inside themselves, which is connected in to what kind of flames they can manifest outside of their body.
Once he figure them out, it would be a lot more easier to built a concrete method of removing the seal on his brother without accidentally disintegrating something in his brother that he shouldn't with Storm flames or somehow destroying those nexus if he overpower the seal with his own flames.
Or successfully removing the seal only to have his brother's flame lash out and burn everything around and himself to ash one way or another.
Yeah, no. Completely mapping out Energy Nexus first it is.
He release his hold on his energy as he let out a sigh. He then stood up and stretched his back. Damn, his body is still young and he can't help but feel like he's already nearing his thirties like he did in his past life.
"Nii-tan, are you done?"
Tsuna grinned at his brother and gave him head taps. "Yeah, that should be fine for now. I already gathered enough data to get a rough layout of my own Energy Nexus. I'll ask Sho-chan to be my next subject for comparison later after I finished the layout."
Ienari frowned after hearing his brother, he pouted at him at that. "Why Shoichi-kun? I can help too!"
Tsuna laughed at his brother's reaction, he grinned as he mush his brother's cheeks with his hands like some kind of tubby cat and a dog. He can't help it. With how adorable his brother is, it's totally given (is he turning in to a bro-con or something? He feel like he's developing a big brother complex ever since he reincarnated). "Of course, of course, but I'm saving the best subject for the last."
Ienari whined at the gesture and tried to escape. "Nii-tan! You're making it sound like I'm some kind of labrat!"
Tsuna grinned, ruffling his brother's blond hair playfully, "If anything, you'll be a gerbil. Or a rabbit."
Ienari sputtered, "Nii-tan! I'm not a gerbil! Or a rabbit!"
Tsuna just laughed once again, "Sure."
The two of them put out the candles and switched on the lights. The room, just like their own room at the second floor, is warded against supernaturals.
With half of the candles in hand, Ienari paused a moment in thought as he realize something. He turn to his brother in complete curiosity and confusion. He blinked and—
"Nii-tan, since… since when did we have a basement?"
Tsuna turn to Ienari with a blank expression on his face, devoid of any emotion that Ienari could recognize.
"Ienari, my brother, you know that I love you and all but don't. Ever. Call this a basement. Understand?"
Ienari is taken back at his brother's sudden intensity, "T-t-then what do I call it?" He asked in confusion, because what else would he call a room hidden under a house?
"This is a Bunker. A Bunker. A underground fort against all supernatural that is out to get us! Soon, this Bunker will expand, multiple floors underground, there will be a library full of spell books and cursed grimores, an armory full of relics and assortment of cursed and magical weapons! Training room, a laboratory, an archive and a mini theater with a minibar for the sole purpose of watching anime—!"
Ienari let his brother to continue his passionate rant about the baseme—Bunker and about how warlocks and sorcerers should have lairs like this instead of obnoxious towers that stand out like a sore thumb and how the Winchesters and the Men of Letters could die in envy once he finish.
Nari listened eagerly at his brother and his passionate speech about occult. He smiled fondly as they walk up the stairs while carrying the candles. Somehow, listening to Nii-tan babble on occult and everything supernatural felt nice. He always like that his brother always seems so relax and happy whenever he talk and dabble on occult.
As his brother continue to talk about how demons would now better than to attack the Bunker, Nari let out a stifled giggle. Is it weird that even though he should be scared in something like demons, he felt like it's just gonna be okay? Maybe, but he believe in his older brother. Even though he doesn't understand what his brother is talking most of the time, something is telling him his brother could do them if he tried. Since, he didn't remember this basem—Bunker ever existing (he is also pretty sure that their mother doesn't have any idea that this place exist under the house), Ienari is pretty convinced that his brother could do it and wouldn't be that surprise if he suddenly found himself in a wide room with giant rocks and realistic skies underground with Shoichi-kun and him being there for traing under Nii-tan just like in Bleach.
Unknown to Ienari, a very thin and faint strand of sparkling green spark of electricity emit from his head as his eyes momentarily flashed neon green. It's so fast and subtle that Tsuna almost didn't noticed at all.
Weeks had passed and Tsuna practiced on refining his control on his different skills and powers (for some reason, he can't help but feel like he just stirred up something chaotic and he's missing the end result of it greatly). It's somewhat time consuming to be honest. Honing his ESP, strengthening his body and refining his Qigong as well as practicing with his flames and trying to get better at using the three of them all at the same time.
He's proud to say that he's advancing very well and is pretty close at getting the control of his Qi back to the same level as he previously had from his past life.
So for now, he's busy making a Energy Nexus chart and comparing it the Chakra points from Hinduism and that Traditional Chinese acupuncture charts. Admittedly, the Energy Nexus chart still isn't complete. It only had major pathways recorded in it and not the little ones inbetween and at the edges of it, but he's only comparing the major points with Hinduism Chakra and acupuncture and so on for now anyway. Sometimes, it's better to take things one step at a time. He doesn't want to miss something important which could happen if he rushed the process.
He hear the door open with Sho-chan peaking at the room.
"Tsuna-san?"
"Oh, Sho-chan! What's the matter? Come inside, you know that I don't bite." Tsuna paused in his work and focus at the red haired boy at the door.
The red haired boy squirmed, "W-well… you see…" he stammered on his words and tightened his grip on the door knob, like he's reluctant to come inside the room for some reason. After a few awkward moments, the boy finally opened the door wide and went inside the room.
Tsuna's expression fell when he see what's behind Sho-chan and figured out why he seems reluctant to come in the room.
"Okay, who do I have to kill?"
"Nii-tan!" He heard Nari-chan shrieked, sounded scandalized behind Sho-chan. His blond hair is full of mud. His clothes are crumpled and looked as though he just rolled on the wet ground and then dive in to the sand box right after.
He also has bruises and scrapes on his face and arms.
Sho-chan pushed his glasses up and look at him nervously after taking a look at Nari-chan, "I-it's my Schoolmates. The… the one from before."
His brother shrieked again, he stared at Sho-chan as though he didn't expect him to spill the beans to Tsuna, "Shoichi-kun?!"
Tsuna narrowed his eyes in thought, "And you didn't defend yourselves?"
Sho-chan stared at his own feet, not meeting Tsuna in the eyes. He fumble his tumbs and stammered an answer. He mumbled, "…they were many and… older."
Tsuna sighed and scratched his head at that, "I see…"
So Sho-chan's bullies also targeted his brother it seems. Tsuna had trained Sho-chan and his brother at the basics of protecting themselves but it seems that it's still wasn't enough. And clearly, he should have known after all, the two are just eight. Eight years old aren't exactly known for their strength. He and Hibari are different and shouldn't be lump to normal children, with him being reincarnated man nearing his thirties and Hibari being Hibari (because everything is wrong with that child and you can't tell him other wise).
"Where are they?"
"T-their—"
"Nii-tan no!"
Tsuna pinched the bridge of his nose, he sighed. "We already talked about this Nari-chan, I won't hunt down your bullies for no reason. Only in retaliation and if they went to far."
He gestured to his brother's dirtied and bruised form. "Clearly, they are went too far."
"B-but…!"
"Would you let them go away just like that if they hurt someone in front of you when you could clearly help?"
Tsuna watched as his little brother stopped in thought, clearly understanding what he meant by his words.
He wouldn't.
He won't let away people who hurt others for no reason at all. Not when he could do something.
Tsuna stashed away his Energy Nexus studies and walked to the door, he turned to the two with a raised eyebrows, "You're gonna point me where they are or what?"
Sitting on top of the slide's roof, Tsuna stared at the whimpering and groaning brats ranging from ten to fifteen. Sho-chan and Nari-chan are watching behind the slide.
Tsuna sighed. Seriously, why is it always the playground? If this is fanfiction, the author must be running out of ideas or just being lazy.
He turn to the brats that doesn't know anything but to picked in weak looking kids younger than them, "Now, what do we learned?" He asked in a somewhat exasperated tone.
He's busy on working his brother's seal, he doesn't exactly liked beating up children but here he is, doing exactly that because they think themselves to be better than others just because their bigger.
He rolled his eyes at that.
Brats, the lot of them. Really.
Hiding in the bush, a bunch kids watch the one-sided fight in the playground.
They watch the badass that is the older Sawada beat up kids older and bigger than him effortless just like he did to them when they beat up that Izumo kid (which is ironically beside them currently and have been tagging along with them when they're stalki—Observing! Yes, observing. He had been tagging along whenever they are observing the Elder Sawada everywhere. They're not stalking him, nope. Not at all. Definitely not stalking).
They trembled when they hear him asked the same question that he had asked them. They tremble more, watching the Elder Sawada schooled the beat up teens and preteens just like he did to them. They trembled, though not in fear.
Kensuke released a breath that he didn't knew he was holding, as did the others.
"He's so cool…"
No one disagreed.
