Flying into another reality

Tori Claire Vega is a 26 year old pilot who fly for the US Air Force.

Right now she's in her plane on the way home from an overseas mission.

Suddenly a big storm starts, but Tori is an experienced pilot and as such doesn't get afraid.

Unfortunately this is a time when she should have felt fear.

Her plane get sucked into some energy portal that appears among the dark storm-clouds.

"Vega to base! Emergeny! Come in, please..." says Tori, trying to radio for help.

It seems like the radio doesn't work.

"Oh, no!" says Tori when she exit another portal.

There's no storm, but 4 enemy planes appear.

Tori only has a single rocket left to defend herself with.

She didn't expect any combat.

"Damn." says Tori as she press the red button.

Her last Z-48 rocket is fired towards the lead enemy plane.

The lead enemy plane is destroyed, blown to pieces.

The other 3 enemy planes fire their machineguns.

"I'm at a disadvantage..." says Tori.

She fly a bunch of evasive maneuvers to avoid the machinegun-fire.

With her great skill as a pilot, Tori is able to survive.

"Gib auf, Hure!" says a male voice over the radio.

The voice is one of the enemy pilots.

"Never." says Tori.

"Dann werden wir dich töten!"

"You may try to do so, but I won't go down easy." says Tori.

Tori is clearly the underdog in this fight, but she is also kind of stubborn and refuse to just allow the Germans to kill her.

She wish she had weapons.

She just used her one and only rocket and her plane is not equipped with any other weapons.

For the mission she was given a plane with only 3 rockets, since she was supposed to take out a large none-moving target and then simply fly home.

The form of combat she's in now was not expected.

She radio for help, but no one answer.

She feel fear, being mature enough to see that her chances are so small.

Her plane takes a hit to the left wing.

Tori tries to fly away, but her plane is damaged now.

She has to make an emergency landing on a small island.

She look up to the sky and sees the 3 enemy planes leave.

Tori radio for help, but once again she get no reply.

"No..." says Tori when she notice that her plane is so damaged that she cannot fly from the island.

She starts to cry a little.

"Don't cry, Tori." says an elderly woman as she step out from the shadows of some big trees.

"How do you know my name?" says a surprised Tori.

"Because I am you." says the woman.

"I'll be here so long?" says Tori in slight fear.

"Unfortunately so, sweetie." says old Tori.

"There has to be a way to leave." says Tori.

"That's what I believed as well, at first. Later I realized that there's not." says old Tori.

"Not to be rude to an older woman, but I refuse to give up. I'm gonna make it where you failed all those years ago. Change history and go home." says Tori.

"Sorry. You cannot leave this island." says old Tori.

"Yes, I can." says Tori.

"Clearly still as stubborn as ever. That will go away after a few years here." says old Tori.

"Oh, no!" says Tori.

"Please calm down. Follow me. I live over here." says old Tori.

Tori cannot say no to her own older self, so she follow old Tori.

Tori gasp in surprise when she sees a house and not some simple house, but an actual true house.

"How can there be a house on an island like this?" says Tori, all surprised.

"I don't know. I found it when I first arrived." says old Tori.

"Okay..." says Tori.

They enter the house.

"Welcome to my home...our home. Don't take this the wrong way, but I am glad you're here. It will be nice with some company." says old Tori.

"Makes sense. You've been alone on this island for years." says Tori.

"True. Correct." says old Tori.

"I'll keep you company for a bit." says Tori.

"Seeing you surprised me. I didn't know there was another me." says old Tori.

"Not sure, but I think this is your timeline. I came here through some weird energy portal in the sky." says Tori.

"Oh...I see. You're Tori Vega of another timeline." says old Tori.

"Yes. It seems that way." says Tori.

"Lucky for you, that means you might actually be able to escape from the island, unlike me." says old Tori.

"Explain, please." says Tori.

"People in my world study alternate dimensions. Those who's once crossed over from one dimension to another are called dimension-divers and you seem to be one. And it appears that if you've crossed once you can do so again, which means that you might be able to go back to your own dimension." says old Tori.

"How?" says Tori.

"I'm unsure of exactly how to travel between dimensions." says old Tori.

"Oh..." says Tori.

"Too bad Jade's not here now. She's an expert on transdimensional travel." says old Tori.

"Jade West...?" says Tori.

"Yeah." says old Tori.

"Interesting." says Tori.

"When I left, Jade was pregnant. Her child is sure an adult by now." says old Tori.

"Being here must mean you missed a lot that happened back home." says Tori.

"Correct. I never got to see Jade's child to which I was supposed to be godmother, I never saw if Trina got married, I nerver saw if Cat and Robbie ended up together or if André found someone." says old Tori.

"Uh...what have you done here all these years?" says Tori.

"Among a few things I've been writing this." says old Tori as she reveal a big thick old book.

She open it and reveal that she's written down her entire lifestory.

"Wow!" says Tori.

"My life, everything I've experienced, is in this book. I know that no one might ever read it, but I felt that it all deserved to be preserved somehow." says old Tori.

"I think you should get it published when you get home." says Tori.

"Sounds sweet, but I'm stuck here. You can take it though and publish it for me." says old Tori.

"Then it'd be inaccurate. I can see some things in this book that is not the same as what I remember in my life. You and I are both Tori Vega, though it seems like not everything's the same for us." says Tori.

"Oh...then I'll keep the book and write until I die." says old Tori.

"Yeah. You said that Jade has a kid...who's the father?" says Tori.

"Beck." says old Tori.

"Nice. I'm glad Jade and Beck are a couple." says Tori.

"So am. I. They deserve a good life together." says old Tori.

"Kind of weird to imagine what Jade of your reality looks like now as an old woman." says Tori.

"Yes. She is probably still as hardcore as possible for being elderly." says old Tori.

"That sounds like Jade, for sure." says Tori.

"Indeed. Jade was always tough, at least in public. As far as I remember, I've only seen her ruly cry once." says old Tori.

"Alright. The Jade I know has never cried when I am around." says Tori.

"Beck once told me that Jade hids her softer self to avoid emorional pain." says old Tori.

"I think that's true. Beck tells the truth." says Tori.

"He does, yeah." says old Tori.

"I'm going down to get whatever things of value from my plane." says Tori.

"Don't be gone long. There's a storm approaching the island." says old Tori.

"How do you know? The sky's clear." says Tori.

"When you live here for years alone you develop a sense for the weather in the region." says old Tori.

"Okay. I'll be back soon, don't worry." says Tori.

Tori walk back to her plane.

Suddenly the sky goes dar.

It seems as if old Tori was right and that a huge storm has indeed arrived.

"Elder me was correct...a storm..." says Tori.

She climb into the plane to grab some things when suddenly lightning strike the plane.

The storm quickly fade away.

Tori notice that her plane is not on the beach of an island anymore and is instead floating in wayter.

Up in the sky there's no sign of the storm.

"Help! Vega to base...I need help." says Tori, trying to radio for help.

"Base here. Miss Vega, we have your location. We'll send a plane to get you." says a male voice over the radio.

2 hours later, a US Air Force plane show up and saves Tori.

She is happy that she get to go home, unlike the other Tori, who got stuck on that island.

In the other reality, old Tori cry, thinking that younger Tori is dead.

She saw the lightning hit the beach and she believe the lightning killed younger Tori.

Old Tori has no idea that the storm brought younger Tori back to her own reality.

The End.
