Chapter 2: The SDL Again
Date: November 7th, 2020
Authors Notes: Hey again yall, Im gonna keep this short and sweet so the action can be dived right into! The name of this 2nd chapter is a Miitopia reference(Darker Lord era)! Here I go again with another chapter, this time, the SDL is gonna be dealt with again, but, in a totally different way from progressive liberations of things with battles and stuff before a long epic final fight that has twists and all sorts of things! After this story, I do not intend on making another full length story, we will see what happens, my plan is to focus on writing submissions for furry convention anthologies after this story is complete! Okay, thats all! Read, enjoy, and review if you wish!
I wake up in my custom built large bed complete with cool nerdy and artistic details and some plushies before filling up a simple reusable water bottle to drink water from as my throat hurts some mornings I wake up and to do something while everyone else sleeps! I am currently in nothing but my hilarious super stretchy underwear, Im so glad the Twisted Land Hotel is coming into actual use, we renovated almost the entire interior of it and I love the room I share with Austin! Austins got himself a steampunk style bed though both of our beds are large enough to fit 2 or more individuals should the want or need arise! By the time I finish drinking from my bottle, I notice that no one is up yet still so I go to the Twisted Land Italian Place(a food place I built that we renovated into an actually decent looking food place to have our meals, its close to the hotel) to fix breakfast for myself and the others after putting on a horror themed shirt with all kinds of frightening detail! I had decided to make breakfast as I actually learned to do some simple foods including the hash browns I will be making! The others make it to my location just in time for breakfast to be served! I do not want to dwell too much on the morning routine so lets skip to after we pack up our things that we will be taking!
I take my weapons, duel disk, cards, accessories, a journal, pens, pencils, a sketchbook, markers, and my iPad(due to fall weather in so many places I put on a Black Metal style jacket and some ripped jeans along with a skirt and my boots)! Once we have all gathered at the Toliet Spiral Coaster, Brayden speaks: "We are here now! Its been so cool to be here at Twisted Land and now that we have done a bunch of preparing, we can embark on the next adventure! Whose ready to defeat the SDL truly once and for all?" We all raise our fists as Blaze teleports us and himself to Miitopia, the first place to go in the puzzle to undo the time damage! What we find is a Miitopia even worse off then the Miitopia from our timeline when it was fully occupied by the SDL, theres a lot of high tech security and all that other stuff.. Meanwhile, back on my home world, the revolution has taken over the USA and now a reestablished United States Of America is fighting against the Dark Royal Colonial Possession Territory Of The Earth State. Luckily, we had planned for such a state of Miitopia(which is known as simply The Dark Royal Capital, wow lame) as we need to deal with it a bit so we can investigate what went down. Thanks to Dominic and his tech for the upteenth time, magic, a world map, and our plans: we are able to split up into groups with the aid of all the monsters we can summon! Me and Blaze pair up as I want to spend more time with my fellow padded pal and hes my fursona! Our assignment is to investigate Neksdor so guess who gets to take their fall stuff off? Me! I do so and we instantly travel to there!
On the way to the first area with signs of mii life, Blaze and I enjoy a conversation with one another started by me saying: "Hey Blaze, I know better then most that we dont express every feeling we have, how have you been taking not being able to see most of our friends and homesickness?" "Uhh, not very well.. *Whimper* Twisted Land, my toys, everyone, and other fun stuff has helped, but, I can barely handle it! I just want to be happy again.." "I get that hard, it too has weighed down on me and I suffered for pretty much 2 months straight during the Ohio stay at home order back in the spring.. We are here together and finally can touch each other as much as we want safely! *Pets Blaze* Come here you! Lets hug! *Hug initiated and completed* I have been crushed so many times, lost so much, and yet I keep going! What will make both of us feel better is when we fix this SDL stuff as we will get to see a lot of our friends once again like King Luis! This whole situation has uprooted my vocational school stuff, cant do Digital Arts & Design career tech when the school one goes to doesnt even exist in this timeline and a reeducation center sits where it should be.. I still can do plenty of art and you have seen that for sure! I really miss so many people right now, its been tough, but, we will persevere! We shall just have non verbal fun with each other until we reach civilization which shouldnt be too much longer now!" If any creature that wasnt any of my monsters were in the area, they would hear squeaks, howling, singing, and footsteps amongst other things! Once the place has been reached, we part ways for now and I go investigate the Neksdor pyramid! Walking inside, I think about my interests and also how cool it is to be in the pyramid, I didnt get a chance to visit it when we were fighting the SDL in our timeline! Shortly into my venture in to it, I see a bunch of guards with mysterious colors in their eyes.. The leader of them spots me and angrily demands: "Who are you and why are you here?!" before bursting into laughter with the other guards about my rather interesting getup. However, I just grin before saying: "You think this is funny? You were conditioned to be judgemental of course..
Well, I say that the leader among yall has themselves a duel disk, Im not sure why you do McLeaderPants, but, we will see what really is funny through a duel and I dont intend on holding back! I win, you all get a taste of my power, you win and you capture me and get to try to humiliate me! What do you say?" The leader continues to laugh, but, says evily: "Sure! This will make crushing you man child all the more entertaining! Your ridiculous getup will be your undoing! My master trained me in dueling as I was assigned to fight against the Duel Monsters Spirit World, we lost that war, but, I plan on spreading the darkness anyway! The shadows shall consume you and in their wake, leave behind a devastated version of you!" "Confident are we? Let the spirit of the burning heavy passion determine our fates, I will logically own you or at least thats the result of this experiment per say that is my hypothesis so to speak! Duel disk online, duel gazer connected to the network, cards at the ready!" "*Unison* Lets duel!" "Alright pesky worm man, I go first since you challenged me! Show yourself Barb, Witch Of Possession! Her ability allows me to draw an additional card! I place 3 facedowns and end my turn!" "You really like insults dont you? Well, I wont use em back! By the way, I might actually be nonbinary as I hate the idea of identifying as a man and so forth and I dont identify as female, draw! Lets turn up the heat right away, I activate the spell card Call To The Stand! A legal system themed card, this allows me to call up to 2 monsters since I control my other cards from my hand or deck so long as I dont summon any other monsters this turn! My deck is fluid in change! Here comes Burning Skull Head #1 and Burning Skull Head #2 from my deck in defense mode! They have the same effect, I now deal you 1000 points of damage for each one, say goodbye to 2000 lifepoints! Due to the continous spell Amnesty Protection that I will now play, all monsters effects from monsters I control are unable to be stopped so long as I skip my battle phase every turn I want that protection to be on my monsters! You may see a rather hilarious to you change in appearance for my skull heads! Are you sure my appearance is still funny! I will also now activate the field spell Quantum Infinity! This field comes with some nifty effects, the quantum mechanics it is able to do bends space and time, allowing me to choose any of the following effects when my turn comes around on the condition that my graveyard is locked while it is on the field on my turns so I have to play smart: gain 500 lifepoints, deal 1000 points of damage to an opponent, destroy a card my opponent controls, summon a Black Hole token in defense mode, or draw an extra card! I will destroy the monster you have! Its 1800 attack points would have been a threat!" "Not so fast! I activate Call Of The Haunted to bring back Barb!"
"Good for you, I end my turn with 2 facedowns! You go now!" "Before I take my turn, I shall use the power inside of me to transform into who I am meant to be! Humans like you will be eaten alive one day! *Transforms in a way that is pretty gross* I am now the largest wasp to ever live! And I will end you now for sure! Card is drawn, I have 3 cards to use from my hand now and you only have 1, should have not wasted your cards! I reveal the trap monster Tentacles Of Terror! I can do this when my lifepoints are lower then my opponents in this case you grown man making up a gender identity! I have another trap monster to reveal, I can reveal it when another trap monster is in play as a monster, Warped Wasp aka a card of my cousin who would love to tear you up into pieces starting with that repulsive diaper of yours! The stage is set for the darkness to rise further, I play the ritual spell, Limitless Despair and tribute Barb, Tentacles Of Terror, and Warped Wasp in order to summon the bringer of your demise: Right Hand Servant Of The Supreme Dark Lord! How will you stand up to its 3500 attack points? Oh right, you cant! My monster can attack up to 3 times per turn and deals 2000 points of damage every time it destroys a monster in defense position! Go my creature, destroy those monsters and then direct attack! Say goodbye to most of your life points! *Monsters are destroyed*"
"Before your monster can attack me again and we get to the damage step, I want to reveal my face downs! Sealed Synchro and Act Of Reflection! Sealed Synchro turns into a tuner monster when its revealed called The Lost Tuner which tunes with monsters in the graveyard! Act Of Reflection cancels all new attacks and reflects the damage I would have taken to you! Now who is really losing? You have 2000 life points! Oh and Act Of Reflection cannot be negated when I have no monsters out so you are outta luck even with my next retaliation! I tune The Lost Tuner with my Burning Skull Heads in order to synchro summon during this crazy battle phase The Embodiment Of Justice, Nico! With 2800 attack points, I have myself quite the powerful monster! But, wait, there is more! Nico has some abilities! And I will use one of them! Go Sacrifice For A Better Future as I like to call it! This means Nico sacrifices themselves by being banished straight away out of the duel in order to do the ultimate deed, their attack points are now taken away from you in life points leaving you with 0 life points and your butt whooped by a big diaper baby! Now how is that for a twist in fate?" "Noooooo! *Life points reduce to 0*" With the defeated leader now on the ground, I walk away casually, a job well done and pretty quick too! With all that behind me, I get to looking around the area while smiling annoyingly infectiously as an advantage to shock and then attack any adversaries that try to get in my way, pretty lousy guards I must say! I dont find anything useful to the cause of what exactly happened and then, I enter the boss room and well, there is a coffin in the middle not unlike what you would see in an Egyptian tomb back on a unaltered Earth.. It opens and out comes a mummy version of the Supreme Dark Lord or so I thought..
The mummified SDL says: "Greetings mortal and welcome to your ultimate fate! Before I kill you and make a mockery with your corpse like how my guards out front wanted to, I might as well tell you why I am the way I am! I am not actually the true SDL, I am a former shell of his! Casting away with his mortal body allowed him to evolve into a great and powerful being of pure darkness, something not even the Dark Curse could stand up to, the Dark Curse tried to rise but was crushed and absorbed into the SDL! In a mii named Melvin, a simple banana factory worker, he found the perfect vessel and took control of Melvin, using Melvins position as a top banana factory worker to take over the factory and thus the entire supply of HP bananas as this factory owned all the other factories! With a business under his control, the SDL managed to make the world go without HP bananas, very quickly, the depression caused would give the SDL more strength and so, he built an army of factory workers to take over this world and he managed to do so! The miis feared Melvin the banana factory worker turned owner and not the Supreme Dark Lord Lucifer! This was perfect as the SDL used this to trick miis to support him by lying by saying that he will liberate Miitopia and soon enough, Miitopia was under his control, but, he wasnt satisfied! He left Melvins body forever to die and rot away before going back in time to the first settlement of Miitopia when it was first founded to take over through it and he took all his new followers back in time with him! The advanced technology and skills possessed by the new Empire Of Miitopia quickly overpowered many universes and that leads us to today with him conquering more and more territory! You are a illegal alien and must be destroyed! The only large threat to my master is those Germans! I am the Melvin spoken of, but, reborn and changed permanently! I have but a fraction of the SDLs powers and not even a Great Sage could beat me! Try your luck, mwahahahaha! Unlimited Void! This will suck your life force away in an agonizing way! I should have ceased to exist but my master saved me from the true void that threatens even our cause!"
A black hole like vortex appears and I see beams representing my life force being sucked in as I start to feel a little weaker, but, I shall not let this be the death of me! "Spirits of fallen Twisted Land attractions, I know I got rid of you and pay my respects even though a lot of you werent that great rides, but, I call upon your power to push back the Unlimited Void!" I feel power flow in especially from the Diamond Spaceship and all those Pillar Quartz Transportation rides and use it to quite literally make what Im facing implode on itself, releasing my lost life force! "You persist? That move takes out any creature that dares come upon my tomb, I am relieved I didnt underestimate you completely! Suffering Storm! Destroy his emotions and literally break his heart, leading to death by cardiac arrest before its complete!" "I wish I were better at writing battles! Nevermind, the whole Im writing this back on my world at some point and Im experiencing it now in this alternate body of mine gets so confusing sometimes! Anyway, heres a throwback from the past with one of my attacks! An uppercut like attack with my sword along with a move using my reusable water bottle! The bottle can apparently hold pure magic and thus I have used it to store away some energy and now I unleash that energy as well, making the counter all that more effective! And because Im not too willing to let this battle be long and drawn out, Im going to turn things up in intensity after I finish my attack! *Finishes attack, destroying the harming dark magic storm* Here we go, get ready for some classic Rock N Roll! Hard Rock Rage! I combine hard rock strumming on my electric guitar while singing as high as I can as magic fills my veins and the guitar! *Starts strumming* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" This unique move(well except in my life for Ive done similar a lot just as my sweet Austin has) really does some damage and I just follow it up with as many attacks as I can pull off, using the shock(and apparently vulnerability of this evil alternate Melvin) to continue one after another! My voice hurts after it all, but, Melvin is not done though he is badly beaten for the most part..
To skip to the exciting conclusion, I will say that I got fruit punch into my system(I brought refrigerated fruit punch to the adventure) to help my voice and use tactics like mind breaking sentences, distractions, and dodges to rest my hands and arms enough to finally pull off a victory after a decently long fight that surely wont be totally forgotten, hopefully! Melvin says as his body begins to crumble: "I forgot that my body was so so weak.. I cant believe it, you still actually managed to defeat me, well played I guess you gross freak.. Even with this body, no mortal should have been able to challenge me, this is impossible, you are stronger then any opponent from Miitopia who has challenged myself and other servants of the SDL.. This is the end of me, I will now fade away, goodbye master, I hope I have served you well enough, I rested on and off for thousands of years in this body of mine.." I hear the familiar voice of the SDL reply: "You did serve me well, I will crush that brat and his little friends who have infiltrated my empire and have begun undoing what I worked so hard for! I refuse to let you fade away, join your soul with my being, let me save you! I see you still around, pathetic homosexual mortal, you are on my hit list, I wont let you get away again, in fact, you are going to die here whether you like it or not! Citizens of Miitopia, mobilize yourselves against all illegals on this world, we will make sure they are all erased! Mwahahaha!" At that moment, my monsters return to my deck telling me they have searched where they needed to and didnt find anything.. The tomb starts to collapse and Melvins body turns into nothing, leaving behind a dark speck that gets sucked into some hole in reality.. The tombs rate of collapsing increases more and more the more seconds pass and I am beyond exhausted from the battle, my magic reserves even are totally drained, I cannot do anything to call for help or even get myself out alive.. Thanks to a magical journal that tunes itself to how I would actually tell my experiences in a book of some kind along with my subconscious, I have been able to record this adventure without trouble, this will make it on said journal and tell the story of my last moments, this is a farewell, I am over, there is no hope left for me.. I decide to at least make one last effort by crawling towards the nearest exit as I can't get up..
However, I am still too little too late, I will be crushed just as the SDL pretty much wanted to happen.. With whats left of my strength, I write down on paper with my pen a bullet point list of what I found out so maybe my teammates can find the note somehow and figure out the puzzle, enabling them to fix what all changed.. Shortly after, much of the tomb has collapsed and finally, my corner of it is collapsing entirely, I brace myself for the fatal impact of tomb pieces falling on me when out of nowhere, I see Blaze appear and grab me just as I lose consciousness instead of outright dying by being crushed completely.. I experience nightmares of the worst case scenarios of everything that has ever happened to me that could have had any bad outcomes.. As if it all happened in the blink of an eye, I abruptly wake up on a medical bed that was combined with the average comfy modern bed for the best of both worlds with Austin, Blaze, Dominic, and Brayden around me in full on medical gear and the others chilling out elsewhere..
Dominic speaks: "Its going to be okay, we are so glad you are awake, dear friend." I reply after looking down at myself: "Uhh Dominic, what happened? Ive never heard you speak to me in such a manner before! Why am I here while having my plushies all around me?" "You almost died, I wasnt sure if you were tramatized about what happened since Blaze barely managed to save you from being crushed to death! We are now over at Galados Isle, ironically still the place the SDL decides to straight up just abandon after conquest in this timeline. I thought that surrounding you with your plushies would help you out, but, beyond physically, you are alright! After you literally passed out right after Blaze grabbed you and your stuff before teleporting, he came to myself and Austin who had helped investigate New Lumos and we quickly found out that due to the intensity of what you experienced, your body was in really bad shape and got a lot of damage as a result. I have determined your body now that it's been healed will not have any permanent damage from that incident as I consulted with some doctors from Heartland City via a communication app. Sadly, some of your clothes got pretty torn up. Since literally no one has any extra clothes and you dont have a 2nd outfit with you due to you assuming you will be fine with just the fall gear and the other stuff, youre kind of stuck with just what you have on. The fall gear as we know doesnt do well in non chilly weather.. We got your plushies out of your backpack after setting up this medical tent, Brayden luckily managed to turn a Miitopian doctor to our side! We all are in medical gear as that is the safety procedure we have to follow.." "Thats quite the trip, youd think thatd be in some real trippy song, but, no this be the reality of today! Its alright about my clothes, I will be okay, my fire magic comes in handy, I could fuse with my number card ace to wear the armor, but maintaining that takes energy and would make us easier to spot! Im surprised yall managed to get away from the entire population of Miitopia citizens, what did you even do?"
Brayden responds: "Between Austins nearly ear breaking screams amplified by his microphone which we all had to wear ear plugs to avoid our eardrums bleeding, my Sage powers, Dominics pocket stored robot army, Yuma and Astrals Zexal 3 plus Hope Beyond, the spirits of all the roller coasters youve ever made such as the flying coaster Flying Cactus, and Starlight Glimmers spells, they really werent prepared for us and just kinda gave up for the time being! Blazes new position as a Time Protector or whatever its called made for allowing him to do a great exploit we all shall forever thank him for, getting us over here in almost an instant!" "Haha, nice! Thats a fantastic flex that has nothing to do with the letter K! So, what do we collectively as a group know what changed?" Austin has the floor this time: "Im still buzzing with excitement from how much we found out, I wanna go weeeeee right now! That note you managed to write was so helpful, gotta rock n roll all night! The breakdown is everything you found out plus the SDL found and cast the spell to cast his body away from a book found in Citrus Cave, the Romans are rising up, the SDL is far more powerful then in our timeline even more powerful then at his ultimate height, and Miitopia is even more different then we could ever imagine.. Still dont know what interference led to him finding the spell, but, hey, we know what date to travel to and where! Yay! Time travel adventure thats easier to figure out!" I then get up, put all my stuff away into my backpack and in a few minutes, we are off to almost 2 years back in time, a time long before I knew what kind of craziness was coming back on Earth.. There is one slight problem.. The SDL has followed us into the past and we dont know that until after we search New Lumos as much as possible to try to find past SDL and then try to race to destroy the spell from the book which it is said to be contained in..
We fail at the trying as the present day SDL blocks our path out of New Lumos: "You fools! Mwahahaha! Is a group trying to be the heroes? Dont make me laugh, you bunch of foul living breathing abombinations! Ive known that I was supposed to be defeated a year ago thanks to a buddy of mine who calls himself Fluffy! I cant even downsize my power for a long fight against all of you, I can only crush all of you instantly with 1 quintillionith of my power! Only the laws of physics can stop me, I have tried so much to bend them but they just dont cooperate! You have broken so many of my laws designed to control visitors and citizens, preventing them from being anarchists and destroying my empire from the inside! Now watch as I get rid of all of your life forces without even moving a muscle! Say goodbye, you cant even alter what has been altered, time has diverged enough!" Dominic starts randomly speaking in a British accent: "The laws of the universe and beyond dictate how things are and go, all energy and matter is bound in some way to the inner workings of existence. That being said, that means its theoretically possible to stop this attack being inflicted on us without mercy by using the laws of mass and energy. In fact, you Supreme Dark Lord Lucifer are still made out of matter, just atoms that are far apart from each other and I now present the Atom Breaker! This will break up one of your atoms in an instant, its advanced yes but currently, it is not possible to make it break more then one atom from some distance away within the span of 5 months. This invention has a history that I am able to tell because its force is preventing your attack from getting us, SDL! It has been worked on by many different individuals over thousands of years and it wasnt until the Covid 19 pandemic managed to spring up in more then one universe that I actually received it as a way of recognizing my work in science and role in beating you SDL back on the correct timeline. I fixed the one last problem that kept it from working and now, it gets to be used for the 2nd time, the first was a test and managed to literally take out an entire black hole by destroying just one single atom, it was the force of the device and the destruction of the atom that took out the black hole for good!" Dominic uses the Atom Breaker, effectively weakening the SDL quite a bit and forcing the instant kill attack to be cancelled!
We use this chance to escape to the time of the earliest settlement of Miitopia. This is as the SDLs words convinced us that maybe we should confront his past self that went way back in the past after taking over Miitopia in what was the present time instead! This left behind a trail of "breadcrumbs" for the SDL to follow with the help of all of our collections of Duel Monsters cards in an attempt to delay him from getting us! Once we have arrived to the time we were looking to get to! Luckily, we managed to find the exact date and time of day that the SDL began to take over ancient Miitopia via a history book of Miitopia made with obvious propaganda that still gave us accurate dates. The idea of traveling back to this time is battling and defeating the SDL before he could manage to get extremely powerful, we know the tricks of the SDL and other villains so, we sorts of nailed the outsmart formula at this point, a magic barrier preventing mind reading even surrounds each of us after some of us cast spells to make it appear. Even though the SDL and other powerful dark beings arent affected by timeline changes, that doesnt mean the few atoms that make up their spectral forms arent! Age also plays a factor too as some of our entire team managed to prove some time ago with the cooperation of lots of scientists and others! Scouting out the entire settlement that is the first place Miitopians ever came together in a community on the target date we are now in by splitting up allowed us to find the past SDL easily! Past SDL only had just jumped back in time with all them supporters which we forgot about, but, we got our ways to get the SDL to face us without any aid from followers. During our scouting, we also raised public opinion against the SDL by using ETHOs, LOGOs, PATHOs, demonstrations, and figurative language and now have some allies of our very own!
Risking myself for the team, I volunteer to confront the SDL myself and so, I find him quickly(the better term would be them as the SDL is 2 beings, but, they are so fused and integrated they might as well be 1 being so he/him it is). He looks at me commenting: "Eww! Your form disgusts me! I have no idea who you are and I can see you are of the light, I will not tolerate your presence upon me, I could send my supporters after you and let them do the job, but, Im on a tight schedule so I will get rid of you myself! Why does life always have to throw something at me on my path to be the most powerful dark being to ever exist, even surpassing the entity that rules over all darkness and bends it to their will? You die now!" "Ahaha! Im doing something socially on my own! Alright, team! Reveal yourselves and I shall now activate Quantum Infinity around your army of supporters to keep them busy, I will drain myself greatly even with the aid of Brayden and Starlight, but, it will be worth it! Always nice when ones friends manage to restore ones entire energy provided I have an energy crash tomorrow and lose consciousness for a few hours, a decent trade off for sure for its benefits! Blaze, you lead the fight! I am weakened by the casting of my field spell as a real physical temporary thing! I will make myself the perfect distraction! Oy SDL, look at me! Im making fun of you with facial expressions! And now voices too! *In a satirical voice making fun of the SDL* Look at me, Im the Supreme Dark Lord Lucifer and Im so alone all the time that I went crazy with power and smell like dead fish! Its so fun being an overconfident nincapoop! Nobody can stop me because I have confirmation bias! I want attention, listen to me! Im a salty individual who demands support from a bunch of individuals who should know better then to support me!" Blaze indeed leads the others in striking at the SDL with attacks while I start moving around funny and summon a card I have called Vortex Of Illusions whose form is literally a massive optical illusion to ensure the SDL is only focused on me and the monster card, further made successful by me playing Funk Metal on my guitar while saying random things in screaming, shouting, singing, growling, squealing, and spoken word styles!
"I will get you you little filthy rat! Get back here! Fine, I will use ranged attacks! Take this and this and this and this and this!" I then summon all my other monster cards to join in on attacking the SDL! You would think with so many distractions(even though the SDL is mostly pure energy) that he would have been outsmarted and overwhelmed completely, but, no, the SDL is above being outsmarted and overwhelmed by so many senses being used at one time! In motion still, I suddenly put my guitar away and unleash fire from my hands at the SDL. Fire is sort of a neutral element, it brings destruction but from destruction comes rebirth. Such means that darkness is only sort of immune to it! Me being me, I switch to making stupidly annoying noises to tick off the SDL including fart sounds made with saliva and my tongue! Starlight managed to make herself and the others practically undetectable before they jumped the SDL, just a little thing I wanted to share honestly as the added element of surprise came in handy! When making stupid sounds stops working, I pull out a megaphone, start firing projectiles at the SDL, and yell into the megaphone as high pitched as possible the 333 ways to get kicked out of Walmart according to the internet! It was only loud enough to be annoying for the SDL as everyone on the team including me this time are using earplugs, this is part of why we spent 2 hours a day since our last adventure planning, to pull off being annoying, we totally have lives, I promise you all that! I feel my energy start to wane more, its awesome that the fire stuff didnt take too much energy! When the 333 ways run out, I start blaring out math terms and equations instead! As I finish rambling about the rise and the run of a slope, the SDL appears to be weakened immensely and we all stop doing whatever we are doing. He really isnt happy exclaiming: "Unbelievable! I lost so much so easily to these mortals! My life sucks! And my rather useless followers are trapped inside whatever a card that summons things is supposed to be.. Just my luck! I have-" The ground shakes, silencing the SDL who managed to feel such before the present day SDL shows himself angrily saying:
"You darn foolish meatbags! It took me forever to get here, cant believe you all outsmarted me! Well, now, its time to end all of you! DIE! This ability of mine will conpressed your organ, leading to instant deaths for each and every one of you, the corrupted light will bring it to its maximum potential! Dont you dare flee past me! Dont you dare! Watch as your future self schools you on how to get rid of stupid brats like this team of misfits!" Past SDL doesnt get it and begins to try to flee, I see a golden chance as present day SDLs ability requires a big blob of dark energy and he happens to be distracted by his past selfs ironic submissiveness. Brayden does as well and before I could redirect the blob myself, Brayden sees what Im trying to do and tells me: "Just leave it to me, you are straining yourself even with that energy assist. Sit down, have a rest, and watch the show. Even those of us like you who work to work hard need a break every once in a while! *Winks*" Brayden moves the blob and directs it right at past SDL as it begins to move. There is nothing present day SDL can do as he watches in horror and yells: "NO! I FORGOT THIS WAS BEFORE I WAS IMMUNE TO TIME! NOOOO!" as his own attack hits his past self straight on like a full on bullseye! At the same time, past SDL realizes that present day SDL really is his future, leading to a time paradox unfolding in front of us! The time paradox plus the blob together cause the instant destruction of both SDLs. Nothing is left of the great SDL now except the past SDL before he went back in time to this date. I can feel myself getting even more weak, Brayden takes over the field spell entirely so he is the only one to be drained as he can now do that given he isnt using his powers for anything else anymore.. Austin looks at the aftermath and excitedly raves:
"We did it! We managed to defeat a powerful evil villain in record time! Fun Land and so much else has been saved from a horrible alternate present and future! High fives, paws, and hooves everyone! Go us, we kicked evil non lizard butt today!" Brayden lifts the field spell and a bunch of Miitopians who were an army appear confused. Dominic asks Blaze: "Do you think you can manage to send all those miis back to the present? Oh wait, dont answer that, I dont think anyone has the power to bring hundreds of thousands of miis through time. Past SDL is still a threat and the time paradox now which means that past SDL just vaporizies as soon as he travels back in time to here, the altered history book about Miitopia now says such, thats my source and according to it, Miitopia would forget about the incident for thousands of years after it was recorded in a cave somewhere! Im feeling tired, I need a nap when we get back to Twisted Land which is out of the question for now as we all need to travel back to January 11th 2019 again to stop that version of the SDL too, we need to thwart everything that changed not just what we already did.." We reassure the miis who got sent back in time that everything will be okay before ultimately going to 1-11-2019 again! This time, we are armed with the knowledge that things began in the morning hours! Inevitably, we manage to run into the SDL in New Lumos about ready to venture to look for that spellbook and thanks to the other SDL who should be here instead being totally gone with the whole vaporization waiting for alt. 2019 SDL, the timeline has reverted to where this is possible! The SDL sees us and demands: "What do all of you want? Hold on, that Fluffy warned me about some heroes getting in my way in the event they didnt go away with the old timeline! Im supposed to be defeated in November right?! And such November is in your pasts? Well, lets see who can win, come at me mwahahaha! I can crush you even with my currently small amount of power!"
Doc Brown catapults plutonium at the SDL in an attempt to use large amounts of radiation(which we happen to currently be protected from) as a way of weakening the SDL and it actually does have some results causing the SDL to fume: "Radiation? NO, Im not immune to that yet! I will teach you who to mess with! Insurgence Of Terror, who knew making up attacks and executing them right after would work? No one in Miitopia can stand up to the power I hold!" The attack is easily defeated by basic attacks from me and the others, we have grown so much that our base attacks on their own are good at fighting enemies! After this, I send a Scorching Spiral swordfire magic attack at the SDL, dealing a significant amount of damage! Shortly after, the January 11th 2019 SDL just ends up defeated completely, totally outsmarted way too easily.. The SDL remarks filled with self pity rather then pure rage: "Thats the end of my reign.. How could I lose so easily and quickly? I just came into existence as one being made of two beings whose minds have merged into one.. Fluffy and The Darkness, I have let you down, I am so beaten I cannot hold rage or fear anymore, Im pitiful, Lucifer had such a lonely angry life before forming me with that advanced Dark Curse.. Theres no game, only my hasty downfall.." The SDL splits up into his 2 components who just straight up give up with the Dark Curse evaporating into nothing and Lucifer is in a submissive position holding a white flag.. However, future Fluffy appears and says: "You.. managed to beat one of the most powerful and terrifying villains of history just like that? This is why I changed so many worlds, to make it much harder for all of you.. Im not even sad, just shocked and a little angry.. Im in a good mood for the most part so you managed to get off lucky.. Lucifer, you are making yourself such a pushover, why dont you try to do something to this crew of individuals who were my friends in another timeline, a timeline I willfully forced into the infinite void/abyss? Oh wait, most of your power came from that Dark Curse, yeah you are done, Im not wasting effort doing this all over again or something else.. Bye you fools!"
Austin starts dancing around and yells: "We did it, we did it! Now the SDL poses no real threat because his existence ends in a dead end timeline wise now!" Brayden taps him on the shoulder before saying loud enough for everyone to hear: "That may be so, but, defeating the SDL now alters how things will play out for our past selves who fortunately arent aware of all of this, lets try not to run into them ever, we got lucky just now, we would break the fabric of space and time if we met them not to mention confuse your past self Adam before everything gets ripped apart.. We must travel back a little further to prevent Fluffy from ever coming into contact with the SDL, Dominic of course got footage of the exact time stamp, Fluffy believes he is immune to time, but, Dominic pointed out how this was untrue with the SDL so its certain that Fluffy isnt truly immune like with us until not that long ago. And we have a great opportunity wait no we dont, we gotta stop Fluffy by ourselves.. Doc, get the plutonium! Blaze, get ready, I hope that you are able to not collapse from exhaustion, same with you Adam! Just walking isnt too drain so thats good!" 2 minutes later and we travel back in time a few seconds before Fluffy arrives in a different part of New Lumos to intervene in his plans! Catching him off guard, we let him have it and this leads to a chain reaction where Fluffy just frowns before time traveling away, leaving the world of Miitopia alone along with many other worlds! I gesture to Blaze and he and all of us with his recently gained powers travel back to the present: early November 2020! Now back in 2020 New Lumos which is unaltered once again, we decide to divide up the work to get other powerful Miitopians to be part of the team once again! I get to go to Realm Of The Fey with my monsters right behind me just in case! It is such a beautiful land, I almost wish I were living in it now instead of the USA haha! Elven Guard Evan who appears to have long gotten over his sleep habits spots me:
"Is that you, Adam? Whats with the getup? Im so glad that Im just the day guard now.." "Hey Evan! We never did get to properly meet last year with the SDL fiasco! It is in fact me Adam! I like what Im wearing and have nothing else to wear quite literally so thats why Im in the get up Im in.. I'm here on an important task: its amazing that Im freely walking in this land without advanced robotic security trying to fry me.. I need to speak with everyone who is able to fight well in battle.." "Why are you glad?" "Its a long story involving time traveling, time paradox, alternate Miitopia, planning, staying safe in Twisted Land, and more.. Say could you inform who I wish to speak with that Ive arrived and then you could join in the meeting and hear with them what exactly went down?" "Uhh sure! I will tell the Fab Fairies and the others! See you there!" He runs off and I resume calmly walking(my monsters at this point just summon themselves outside of duels to not burden me with their summoning and maintaining costs in terms of magic and energy), appreciating all the scenery, its been awhile since Ive really done this sort of thing often, nature is so wonderful! Little did I know but a real giant drop of water on a plant was ready to burst on me so I am caught off guard as I hear a flop like sound as I get drenched in water.. Looking up, I see what happened, dang this sucks.. All my items are somehow perfectly fine and walking once again, I just dont worry about the fact Im soaked in order to get to where I need to be. Soon enough, I have made it the the elven village where anyone capable of combat is already waiting for me! Grace, the oldest fab fairy says to me: "Darling, youre here! I will lead us to a meeting room, outside isnt entirely safe these days with some being who calls themself Torvald the Turd attacking Miitopia here and there with an army from some other world. Its not that big of an issue but it is a concern." She does as she says and within 2 minutes, we are all sitting in the most beautiful comfortable and peaceful meeting room Ive ever seen with 2 eyes and so, Grace speaks once more:
"You said to our day guard Evan that there is a matter of great importance you wish to discuss with us? Do tell.. And we know of your clothing circumstances, may we give you some new clothes to wear? What youre wearing has already almost attracted unwanted attention from our new enemy who came out of nowhere since it is so torn." "Well I will be heading back to my park Twisted Land tonight with the others as I have a small portion of the entire team working with me with the whole matter.. You see, a future version of the famous funny Fluffy Afro believe it or not has traveled back through time to alter the space time continuum to make bad things happen everywhere: the SDL was never defeated and became much more powerful after traveling back himself to take over the first settlement in Miitopia the day it came to be.. My world was under the control of the SDL and everything, Heartland City was missing key people.. Problem is that even though the SDLs lifes timeline has been corrected, there are still many impacted worlds that have had their histories altered.. And I have proof as I gotta prove myself! Now where is it? I collected a newspaper from Twisted Land some time ago and hopefully, it has changed.. There it is!" The miis with me look super interested *Takes newspaper out of backpack* "One of my associates within Twisted Land had started a newspaper and by dumb luck, a copy survived the time change even though the time change meant Twisted Land never ever opened to the public this year.. It originally said when I picked it up that my band were performing hours after publishing for a 2nd time in Twisted Land.. *Shows newspaper* Now as yall can see it says that Kind Warrior Adam aka me went missing for weeks and places mysteriously got renovated and belongings of unknown persons appeared in the hotel which never opened despite previous plans due to Covid 19.. Oh and I accept the clothing offer!"
Akiza typically a hothead says: "Dont worry I believe you and everyone else does! Why did you request for all of us?" "Well, a small portion of the team can only do so much, alternate SDL almost got away with using one quadrillionth or something of his power to kill us all after all.. I want all of you to join the team, the others are in other parts of Miitopia assembling the team as well.. What do you say? All of you have skills that will be handy in combat and beyond! Im almost surprised yall are taking me completely seriously!" Grace goes: "I accept, the citizens of Miitopia are quite powerful by themselves, they will be able to defend themselves." Akiza adds: "So do I!" Violet shyly states: "Okay." and the others also consent! Grace then motions for me to follow her to this store of sorts with a lot of clothing, informs the others to stay put, and asks once we get there: "Before we pick out a outfit for you to wear and keep courteous of me, what are your preferred styles of clothing?" "I like a lot of styles! Cute, creepy, punk, industrial, casual, and more!" Grace nods okay and takes me to a section of the store with a lot of cute clothing: "Are you good with picking from this section?" "Of course! Lets not make this long, Im pretty hungry honestly, should have had a bite to eat earlier.. Anyway, lets see.. I really like that pink fairy outfit complete with fairy wings!" "Is that what you really want?" "Im 100% positive, cross my heart and hope to experience thousands of Gs on a physics breaking roller coaster without dying!" "Okay, I already paid the store owner in advance! The clothing is one size fits all a phrase Im sure youve heard. Lets get back to the other after you put it on, all clothes in this store are known to be extremely comfortable for the wearer so there will be no need for trying them on when you will just get to keep them on! Well worry about food in a little bit, hang in there darling!" "Thank you, thank you! And Ive been more hungry before, dont worry too much! On some days this year, I went around 16 hours without eating to be honest!"
We catch up with one another a bit before getting to the assembled group. Once there, Akiza says: "Alright everyone, we are all going to have a nice lunch break, surprised Adam?" My face says it all and almost as soon as we came in, we are out with the others going a route through nature to avoid being potentially spotted by some spy for Torvald the Turd who apparently exists and isnt just a dumb evil character I drew for the heck of it a while back.. I with my sword in hand watch for any suspicious movements the entire walk to the restaurant Akiza is leading us to.. Time passes and I see nothing and let out a sigh of relief when we get into the restaurant. Im gonna skip this part as well: I try Very Rare snurp salad and actually like it along with downing some Elven Potion, converse with the others, and detect no sign of danger! We causally walk out of the place and all is well until a bunch of crazy fans come out of nowhere for me and the fab fairy sisters.. We know we cant escape them so I speak up loud enough for all to hear: "Calm down calm down, you dont have to be so loud.. Contain your excitement a bit.. Im personally not a huge fan of fans, dont have interest in popularity but I will not disappoint, yall aint the fricking media who bugged me and the team last year several times.. Who wants my autograph aka my ever changing artists signature? Lets make this as fast as possible, Covid 19 is a threat in some parts of the multiverse hopefully not here and a Torvald the Turd is attacking this world with their minions.. Remain positive of course, dont worry when you dont have to worry, plain and simple advice I want to give a lot of organisms in the rest of my existence!" So that process is done in 10 minutes with the fans also getting autographs from the fab fairies.. They all run off leaving us all alone once again, but, not for very long as future Fluffy appears:
"How cute, you got yourselves fans! How touching, isnt that so precious? I dont mind interrupting! Looks like you managed to find some clothes, I prefer you wearing something like this, Adam, what you were wearing before was triggering and this is just hilarious! Its not like other beings numbering in millions per world have that trigger too, helps my cause! Im annoyed that you managed to mess up my memory of things by intercepting me before I could meet the SDL, but, I sorted it out and hope to crush you once you have helped ensure the damage Ive done is undone! All that time traveling drained me significantly so you are lucky with that and how I have no interest in endlessly undoing the undoings of my alterations, we all know that would be such a waste and keep us all busy for a long time! Thats it, bye you annoyances I once called friends!" He vanishes and we take a breather before heading to the Traveler's Hun which is the place me and the team decided to meet up earlier after we split up. Random but all our stuff in the Twisted Land Hotel is fine, no one is bothering with the hotel especially now that its meant to be and is the offseason for Twisted Land. Conveniently, everyone else is already there so we all reunite with lots of hugs, high fives, fist bumps, and so on! Austin says to me: "You did it! But, why are you a fairy now?"
"Bruh, its just an outfit Grace let me get and she paid for it herself for me!" "I was joking!" "Neurodivergent mind that also gets pretty distracted with thoughts sometimes is fun, sometime I dont know its a joke, Im just human, but, lets move on! I had a adventure! I got soaked by a massive water droplet ya know like the ones you and others dreamed about multiple times over yes but I'm more then dry now! Talked to Evan who is now the day guard exclusively, met with the useful in battles and things individuals, was warned about a Torvald the Turd who is apparently attacking Miitopia here and there and I thought only existed as a drawing of mine and as a potential character in a story I wanted to write somehow I feel like this is that story, got the clothes, ate lunch, nearly got swarmed completely by fans, signed autographs with my artists signature, and future Fluffy came to have a chat! Thats my task adventure, what happened with you in Greenhorne?" "I got the king to grant me an audience consisting of him, the other royals as Sophie and Carson got married, the guards, and some key members of Greenhorne village! There, I told the whole story and proved it with a deja vu effect felt throughout all of Miitopia! Nothing much else happened, I got to be involved in a massive feast and thats all!" Everyone is talking about what went down so very shortly, everyone knows extensively about what all happened which is always a good thing! Though, not everyone is informed about Twisted Land yet so before we all head out to Twisted Land thanks to Blaze, I say to those not in the know:
"Hey miis and others unaware of Twisted Land! Twisted Land is a park I built from March 2014 to November 2015 Earth time and had to stop working on it due to iPad getting older and older and other things, we got to the park last month to establish it as a safe place amongst all the madness going on!" I take a pause: "There are multiple themed areas: Tomorrowland to be renamed to Sci-Fi City, Halloween Land to be renamed Land Of All Horrors, Studio Land to be replaced by expansions of Sci-Fi City and Land Of All Horrors, Christmas Land to be replaced by Mount Warp Alpinist Settlement, Paradise Cove, Twisted Land Boardwalk, Prototype Land, Spawn to be downsized somewhat for Sci-Fi City and Paradise Cove expansions plus the addition of a new area along with being merged with all of Twisted Land Boardwalk and part of Prototype Land to become Twisted Land Central and Boardwalk, Kingdom Land to be replaced by Paradise Cove expansion, and Cartoon Land to be renamed Cartoon Lake! Quickdraw Canyon is to replace the former site of a mini spooky area featuring a candy shop, Fear Alley, and some fun house inspired attraction I made and some former things in spawn, a lot of empty land, and the rest of Prototype Land including the boomerang coaster in Prototype Land being transferred over with a new name and theme plus new elements on the ride, where Prototype Tower, Spiral, and Cafe are and the former site of the Haunted Lab! Times Past is to be created in the part of Spawn taken out that will be reserved for a new area along with flattened land and remaining terrain in that corner of Twisted Land! We will all be staying in a renovated for now Twisted Land Hotel and some other places!"
Takes an additional pause: "These changes to Twisted Land I mentioned along with over a hundred other changes which will almost completely transform the entire park are set to take place starting the end of this year when timelines are fixed and we can travel back in time to the day where things started to be wrong in order to catch up on lost time! No idea when we will get out of this mess, but, it will happen eventually! Blaze, you know what to do now that Ive ended my talking! Everyone, lets hold hands, paws, and so on, this is gonna be interesting, its a good thing a bunch of us are aiding Blaze by giving him magical support in order to get all of us to where we just have to be! Brace yourselves!" After this, we are all teleported to Twisted Land and well, I got some business to take care of! I say goodbye to everyone for now and ask Blaze, Brayden, Dominic, and Starlight to give everyone the proper tour of the entire park! Meanwhile, I round up all individuals involved with Twisted Land who are still on park property to have a meeting in the area that should become Quickdraw Canyon! All their eyes are on me as I explain everything: "So yall have noticed I quite frankly disappeared for a while.. This is due to the fact that we are in a multiverse wide crisis that means that an evil villain has played with and altered time.. I and a few others on my team who had saved the multiverse about a year ago from another evil villain and just today, we fixed what changed with that other evil villain so now we can all be here together with the park and Minecrafia in general now unaffected by what has happened.. Due to what went on, we decided to take refuge in the hotel and converted the Italian Place into a place for us to eat, some other places have been converted as well to help house the whole entire team much of which we reunited with today! Keep continuing with preparations for Twisted Land 2021 operating season, we need to get the park open next spring still after all! When I travel through time back to when this whole time situation began to make up lost time, I will not be present within Twisted Land at any point during the time Im absent to prevent further messing up time.. Any questions?"
Twisted Lands financial officer named Bo asks: "Whats with the outfit and how much can we prepare for 2021 given how much you intend on changing about the park during this off season?" "Well I had a little situation where I was wearing nothing but what has immortalized me a bit in Minecraftia and didnt have anything else with me to wear so a fairy friend paid for this outfit that I picked out for me to wear and keep! Prepare everything you can just in case, I will double yalls pay when something that was prepared is removed! I see there are no other questions, Im gonna go to hang out with other, see yall tomorrow for a 4th quarter Twisted Land meeting!" I end up having fun the rest of the day: having a mini concert with my band, playing games including Duel Monsters, announcing the rescheduling of that 2nd band show to November 21st, and eating food!
Authors Notes: I hope you all think that was a good one! I truly do love being able to feature Twisted Land in this! Feel pretty fortunate that I am able to do so while keeping it relevant to the plot in some way! Yes, the SDL went down with a quick bang, I just ended up not wanting to focus on that whole thing too too much besides the SDL has never really been the brightest of the bunch and was still largely affected by human/mii emotions! Evil villains in this story as you can see think they are invincible to time changes but space-time and all that makes that basically impossible at least in this massive multiverse cluster where the multiverses interact frequently with one another, our universe is definitely not a simulation in my stories! I actually didnt plan this out nearly as much as last chapter, but, I still pulled it off regardless which is neat lit fam! I almost wish I featured Twisted Land in previous stories, but, since the revival of the park as a project in progress is actually planned and should help make 2021 a more awesome year, it was appropriate that I give it a use!
