This is a side story, a complement of AOGIE, and it's not necessary to read to understand the principal story; it is a direct and crude description of Chrysalis hardships under Ainz rule, in my opinion is one of the best villains if not the best of MLP series and this is her redemption from my perspective.

A Bug and a Demon

For almost a month, the same cycle was constantly repeated, even, sometimes several times a day, it all depended on how much time the guardian of the seventh floor wanted to dedicate to each topic, the first four days were exhaustive, with a rain Of questions that seemed endless, at first Chrysalis was always terrified, but as the days passed, the boredom began to accumulate.

Moving through the corridors of the ninth floor, while being escorted by one of Aura's beasts, she walked with some haste towards her destination, a room from which in the time when she had not seen the outside, learned the way and could arrive in unaccompanied, sorrowfully it was still not safe for her to walk alone in the grave.

But today boredom had been replaced by uneasiness, in the last session they had finally finished with all the information that she knew about all the neighboring kingdoms, It was not a surprise that they asked her for so much information about Equestria and its immediate surroundings, what she did not expect in the end, was when questions began to flow about the kingdom of storms, which, unfortunately, she did not know practically anything, given the great lack of love in it, so she did not understand exactly why she was being called again.

I wonder what will happen now, *sigh* since I was brought to this place everything has been very monotonous and repetitive, the only relief was when that unicorn arrived a couple of days ago; But what I still can't understand is how she was received so well while I'm basically treated as a prisoner, but hey, her presence explains why in the last sections Demiurge-sama focused more on the realm of storms, I would never have imagined that she was the commander of the entire storm king's army.

Inside the luxurious room the Archdemon was thinking deeply about his next steps, thanks to his master new subordinate, a large amount of intelligence that was being checked piece by piece, had been gathered in a short time and until now everything seemed to be True, so it was a shame that the bug did not have more information on the kingdom of storms, however, the information obtained could easily be quite useful for his master's plans.

*Knock knock knock knock*

The sound of someone knocking on the door snapped him out of his meditative state, bringing him back to the present.

Ahh, she already arrived -the demon thought before answering-

"You may enter"

Through the door, passed the figure he expected to see and with a satisfied smile, saw her rush in front of him and prostrate.

"I have responded to your call as quickly as I could Demiurge-sama." -Said the ex-queen with her face down-

"Well done, I've called you because it's time for us to pick up where we left off."

"Errr, I apologize Demiurge-sama, but, I no longer know any other information to give you, I have revealed to you everything I knew about all the nations I have walked through, both present and past." -the changeling answered with agitation-

MORE INFORMATION?!, BUT I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO GIVE YOU? -she thought desperately while giving her excuse-

"Indeed," -answered the guardian causing confusion in her- "so now we will continue with the next phase, you have not forgotten Ainz-sama's instructions right?" -he finished with a serious voice and a neutral face-

"NO! Ahem, of course not, Demiurge-sama, Ainz-sama ordered me to give you all the information I knew as my first task and... " -then it fell over her like a bucket of icy-water, she gulped to relieve her dry throat and continued- "assist in your experiments to better understand my abilities."

Upon hearing her words, the seriousness on the Archfiend's face dissipated, returning to his usual smile.

"Indeed, now we will begin with the experiments, so we will go immediately to the place where we will carry them out, that will be your residence temporarily, at least until we finish the experiments or while you are not receiving training."

"Training?"

"Yes, after all, it is not appropriate for a subordinate of Nazarick to be pathetically weak."

Ouch, that hurt you know!

"Now, get going, time is of the essence."

Picking up the bags and papers he had on the coffee table, Demiurge got up and walked down the hall with the changeling following close behind.

When she exited the portal, Chrysalis expected to find again an incomprehensible and shocking scene, but what was in front of her was simply incomprehensible.

Eh? wait! what? those aren't…? "Demiurge-sama, are we in the Arimaspi territory?" -Asked to confirm her thoughts- "I don't understand, there is nothing of interest in this place, only wild and aggressive beasts, what are we doing here?"

"Oh, so do you know the area, truth be told, I selected this place as the testing area so that you can achieve two goals at the same time, firstly, to start the experiments related to your species, secondly to review the rest of my experiments."

"Experiments? Does it be an underground base?" -the changeling asked curiously-

Instead of giving an answer, the Archfiend gave an evil smile and snapped the fingers of his right hand.

The change was immediate, the nose of the former queen was filled with a pungent smell that made her eyes water, an indescribable mixture of dirt, feces, urine, and blood, both fresh and putrid; her ears were immediately filled with screams and groans of pain after the snap, crying and groans and the desperate requests for death and liberation filled the air in a macabre atmosphere, her eyes saw how out of nowhere, as the air distorted revealed huts of different sizes on all sides, intelligent creatures and animals without reason, all chained to post staked firmly in the ground, many creatures had loss looks with completely lifeless eyes; to such an extent that they were not even able to react to the terrifying creatures that roamed everywhere, creatures out of the wildest nightmares in the world.

The sensory overload was such that the former queen was stunned, her eyes wide and her jaw hanging, it was not until a scratchy and dry voice spoke at her side that she was able to react.

"Welcome back Demiurge-sama" -greeted an Elder Lich assigned as the supervisor of the ranch with a bow- "I see that you have brought a new specimen for the experiments, I will take care of starting immediately."

These words made the ex-queen gulp and take a step back.

I don't think I like how that sounded! -she thought a little scared-

"No, that will not be necessary, I will take care of her personally, she is a special case, she is under the protection of our master's name."

Before these words the Elder Lich bowed more deeply, waiting to hear the rest of the instructions for this new guest.

"She will stay in this place while the necessary tests and experiments are carried out, prepare a suitable place for the indefinite stay of a subordinate, and be sure to request that they provide you with the special food necessary for her, in the meantime, we will begin with the first tests, too, take this material to the office. " -he finished, handing the papers and bags that he carried with him-

"Right away Demiurge-sama."

After receiving his instructions, the undead got up and retired to immediately comply with them, the delay was inadmissible.

As the changeling watched the ramshackle figure walk away, her thoughts were in utter chaos.

That thing! That thing was a necromancer and it is much more similar to that of the ancient legends! But, then that means... that powerful creatures like him are under the command of Ainz Ooal Gown?!, Just... just how powerful my new master is?!

But the Archfiend's words brought her back to the moment.

"Well, now, as I said before, time is short, follow me we will start as soon as possible."

As soon as he started to walk away, Chrysalis shook her head to regain her bearings and hurried to follow him, even though they would not walk very far, along the way, the former queen's stomach drastically turned; as she advanced, she saw multiple cages containing from animals to intelligent species, most were totally broken, there was no will left in their spirit, they were mere shells of a being, many were in some state of mutilation that seemed to be surgical and not due to an accident, all of them were a bottomless pit, a total void, not even the shadow of emotion came out of them, one of those that made the most impression on her was a deer whose antlers and four legs had been removed when this noticed the movement and crossed his empty gaze with Chrysalis, a deep shudder ran down the latter's spine.

That could be my place.

Of the few individuals that still emanated something was only something profound, hysterical, and primordial, an absolute terror.

If the few emotions in the air were enough to make her stomach want to flip upside down, the regular smells in the air, primarily that of rotting blood and flesh, only accentuated the sensation, turning the task of maintaining her composure into something that required a titanic effort.

Trying to distract herself a bit from what she could see, smell and feel around her, thoughtlessly asked a question that was haunting her mind, but hadn't gotten the courage to ask it before.

"What kind of experiments are you going to do on me?"

As her mind processed what she had just said, the former queen froze in place, staring at her superior with slight tremors.

But the answer reached her ears in a disinterested tone.

"For now we will start with the most basic, I want to have a baseline on your performance, we will do tests of strength, speed, endurance, and many others, at least three times on different days to obtain reliable results, for now, do not stop anymore we almost arrive."

After these words the demon turned back to the front and continued walking, after a moment more, they actually reached where the tests would begin and what was in the place again filled with doubt the changeling.

But… what is all this?… It looks like simple gym equipment.

"Here, let's get started as soon as possible." -said the Archdemon with a big smile on his face-

I'm not entirely sure if that smile should scare me or not. -was the last thought of Chrysalis before starting to exercise-

"Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch and more ouch."

Walking as if she had splinters embedded in all parts of her body, Chrysalis followed as fast as possible the figure in front of her, she could finally get some rest after the arduous session of testing and exercise, as reported, the Elder Lich, who appeared that was his species and not its name, already had a small cabin prepared for her rest not far from the testing area, but with her current state, for the changeling, it was as if she had to cross all of Equestria on hoof.

When they finally reached their destination, did not even observe the cabin, she simply fell on the bed and fell asleep immediately, seeing this, the lesser demon that had led her here closed the door of the cabin and left.

That night the former queen was so tired that she could not even dream, the last thought that crossed her head before losing consciousness and sinking into the world of dreams was quite defeatist.

Maybe it would have been better to take the slavery option, I'm dead and it's only the first day ...
