Thanks for all the love last chapter. Sorry for taking so long to get this chapter out, I've been extremely busy the last two weeks and haven't found much time to write. There's one more chapter after this before I'm finished at least for the time being, I will be adding more later.

The next morning Santana calls the producer.

'Hello,' the producer says.

'Hi Gabe, this is Santana Lopez.'

'Aw yes, I've heard some of your songs on YouTube. I'd love to meet up some time this week if you're free to see if we'd be a good fit to work together.' Gabe tells her.

'I'm free any day,' Santana says.

'How about Tuesday?' Gabe says.

'That works for me. Would you be up for meeting at Viking Cup at elven am?'

'I'll see you then.'

Once she hangs up, she pounces on a still sleeping Brett.

"I just called Gabe and set up a meeting for Tuesday." Santana tells him.

"That's great San." Brett sleepily says.

"I'm going to go if Quinn is up to tell her the great news." Santana excitedly says.

She heads to the kitchen, finding Quinn sitting at the breakfast bar, sipping her coffee.

"You're sure chipper this morning." Quinn grumbles.

"Brett got me a sit down with a famous producer." Santana happily says.

"Good for you." Quinn says yawning. "It doesn't surprise me that he would do that. Your man is so thoughtful."

"He is," Santana says happily smiling. "How did your night end with Jake? I half expected him to still be here." she says looking around.

"We just talked for a while before he headed home. We set the day for our first date, Friday night." Quinn happily says.

"That's soo amazing Q. I'll help you get ready." Santana offers.

"Thanks San,"

When Tuesday comes around, Santana is both excited and nervous at the same time.

"Do you want me to come?" Brett asks wrapping his arms around her and placing his chin on her shoulder.

"No, I need to do this alone." Santana says.

"Well, good luck and should you need me just text." Brett says seeing her off.

"Thanks B," Santana says giving him a kiss before walking down the street.

Viking Cup is only two blocks from the apartments. It doesn't take long for her to reach the coffee shop. She orders a drink and takes a seat. She's twenty minutes early so she's ready to wait. Luckily for her not even five minutes later, Gabe also arrives early.

"Hello Santana, I see you like to arrive early as well." Gabe says walking over. "Do you mind if I grab a drink before we get started?" he asks.

"Go ahead, we're early anyway." Santana says.

Once Gabe has his drink, he sits down across from Santana to get started.

"I've heard some of your songs on YouTube, mostly the covers, but also a few originals." Gabe tells her.

Santana waits, biting her lip to see what he thinks.

"You're a great singer and I believe have a talent for writing songs. I'd like to hear some more if you've recorded anymore original songs." Gabe says hoping this all will work out.

"I do, I've been working hard for a few years to get enough songs to have an album." Santana says pulling them up on her phone.

Gabe listens to them, nodding his head to the beat as he takes some notes.

"These are all good, could use some work, but good." Gabe says. "I live in LA and generally do most of my work there." he tells her.

"I'm dating Brett Pierce, who plays for the Giants." Santana says nervous as she doesn't want to be away from him for a long period of time.

"Which is why I brought it up. I think that I could stay here for a few months to work with you. We'd have to come up with a schedule to have you come to LA for some recording, but I'm willing to come down here too. I think we can come to compromise." Gabe tells her.

"That sounds like something I could live with. I'd love to work with you." Santana says trying to play it cool even though she's bursting at the seams.

"You're a very lucky woman, your boyfriend's agent was very persistent in getting me to listen to your songs. I'm glad he did." Gabe says. "I have a feeling you're going to be a star."

Gabe is beyond happy that he's going to be signing this amazing woman. He's always on the lookout for the next big star.

"I can't wait to tell Brett." Santana happily says. "We can start working any tie."

"I have meetings all day tomorrow, but I'm free the next day. I'll have my secretary email you the address of the studio and what time to meet me." Gabe says getting up. "I'd love to stay and chat, but I have another meeting in a half hour."

"Thank you so much for everything." Santana says floored that this is all happening for her.

"I look forward to working together." Gabe says before heading out.

Santana does a happy dance. This is what she has wanted since she moved here. Her big break. She rushes home to tell Brett how it went. She's not surprised to find Brett waiting for her at the front door.

"How'd it go?" Brett asks.

Santana tries to keep a poker face but fails as she breaks out in a grin.

"It went really well. We're going to start working together on Thursday." Santana happily says.

"That's great honey." Brett says so happy for her.

"He's going to stay here for a few months. After that we'll have to workout a schedule of my going to LA and him coming down here." Santana tells him.

"You know I'll travel with you during the off season." Brett says.

"I know, Gabe talked about working around the season." Santana says.

"Well, I think we should celebrate." Brett says picking her up and spinning around.

"Okay," Santana says smiling.

"I'm so proud of you." Brett says giving her another kiss before she goes to text Quinn the news.

Over the next few weeks Santana works long hours on her album with Gabe. He helps a lot with getting great beats to go along with her amazing lyrics. Brett stops by every day for lunch before going to work out.

"Hey, how's it going?" Brett asks coming in with three Subway sandwiches.

"Okay," Santana says.

"Great," Gabe says at the same time.

"I brought sandwiches." Brett says passing them out.

"Thanks Brett," Gabe says always happy to see him.

Brett gets it and doesn't distract Santana from work. He comes for lunch and then leaves. The few times he's stopped by at other times, he's always been very quiet. These are things that Gabe really likes.

"Thanks B," Santana says giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"So, are we close to having the album done?" Brett asks knowing they've made a lot of progress.

"We're getting close, I don't want to put a timeline on it yet." Gabe says.

"There's a couple songs that we're not sure of yet." Santana tells him.

"Well, you know I'll help out anyway you all need." Brett tells them.

"I love you." Santana says lightly kissing his lips.

"I'll see you back home." Brett says. "Don't keep her too late." he jokes with Gabe.

"I'll try to but she likes to work long hours." Gabe jokes back.

Brett heads out and Gabe and Santana get back to work.

"I think the bridge needs some work." Gabe says.

"What about this?" Santana says playing it different.

"Now that could work." Gabe says.

It takes them almost a month to complete the album.

"Santana, Gabe," Will says coming in.

Santana has hired Will as her manager when he came back from the tour. Both Brett and Gabe liked him along with Quinn so she felt confident in hiring him.

"Please tell me you have good news." Santana says.

"I still have some things to finalize on the album so we can't release it early." Gabe says thinking that's what he wants.

"We're going to go on a two-week tour of talk shows, radio shoes and other events to promote your album." Will happily says.

"That's great," Santana says still in disbelief that this is all happening to her.

"We'll leave in three days if it's okay with Gabe here." Will says looking at him.

"It is, it will make my job easier to not have you all here." Gabe says.

After getting more details about the tour, Santana heads home to tell Brett the great news. She finds him in the home weight room working his shoulder out.

"San? Your home early." Brett says sitting up.

"We're done with the album." Santana starts.

"That's amazing," Brett says standing up and pulling her into a tight hug.

"Gabe still has some production things to do, but Will has set up a mini tour to promote the album." Santana continues.

"That's great honey," Brett says cupping her face and kissing her deeply. "I'm so proud of you."

"Will says we'll be leaving in three days for two weeks." Santana says biting her lip.

She's hoping that he'll offer to come. She doesn't like the thought of being away from him for so long during his off season.

"I can come." Brett offers.

"I'd like that." Santana shyly says.

Shortly later Quinn comes in with Jake.

"Great news, we're going on a promo tour for the album for two weeks." Santana tells them.

"San!" Quinn yells and she hugs her best friend. "That's amazing!"

"Way to go," Jake says.

"B's going to come with me." Santana says to Quinn as the pair start chatting about the tour.

"That's great that he can go with you." Quinn says.

"I know, I'm so thankful that all of this is happening during the off season." Santana says.

"Well, you know I'll be watching all the interviews you do." Quinn says so happy for her friend.

"You can come-"

"I have work and Jake here. When you have your first tour, I'll take you up on coming." Quinn says.

Brett and Jake talk about how amazing all of this is for Santana.

"That's great man, she must be excited that you can go with her." Jake says.

"I know, keep Quinn company while we're gone." Brett says.

"I will,"

The promo tour is a hit. Santana's personality is perfect for doing interviews, she's open and funny with the hosts. She's quickly becoming a media darling. Everyone is excited about her music and through the tour they release four of her songs as singles. She plays each song on a different talk show. Once she plays them, people start downloading the song and it gets played on the radio. Within the two weeks tour, all four singles are in the top ten.

"You are becoming a star." Brett says lifting her up and spinning around.

"I am not," Santana says blushing.

"Yes, you are, it's everywhere. You're a breakout star. Between your talent, Will's promoting and the fact that Gabe has produced your album, everyone is hearing about you." Brett says beaming with pride.

"I can't believe how fast this is all happening." Santana says.

"No one deserves it more." Brett says.

Once the album is released, Santana does a couple of magazine interviews and some more TV interviews. She's a hit again and labeled as the breakout artist of the year thus far. Her album spends ten weeks in the top spot.

"I can't believe the press you're getting San. You're famous." Quinn says when there's an ad for an interview Santana did.

"I know, it's so surreal." Santana says.
