Elizabeth and Henry arrived at the 7th floor, and the elevator door opened, Blake was standing there with a muffin bag. "Good morning, madam" he said with the smile on his face. He noticed Henry as well and was confused. "Ooh Hi Dr. McCord, how are you, was not expecting you!". He noticed the jacket in between them and found it odd.
"Hey, Blake how are you…and you didn't know, it's taken your husband to work day today!" Henry responded sarcastically, making Blake laugh and Elizabeth hit his arm and roll her eyes. Elizabeth pulled him to the direction of her office. Last thing she wanted was her other employees to see and embarrass herself, but Blake always had a solution for everything.
Elizabeth grabbed the muffin, "Blake, walk with me!" When they got to the office, Blake closed the door behind them. "Okay, so we have a situation here" Elizabeth said as she removed the jacket, showing the handcuff.
"Oh, my god Madam..how did that even happen" As Blake stared in shock and confused and then suddenly his mind went somewhere else.."you know what I don't think , I need to know".
Elizabeth realized what Blake was thinking and immediately felt her cheeks get red "OH MY GOD , noo, it is not what you are thinking! Jason was trying to perform a magic trick and he lost the key!".
Blake let out a sigh of relief, while Henry was amused by the conversation and laughing. "Yeah, Elizabeth right, can you just call Jason and help him please or find another key."
"Yes of course, I am on it". As Blake was about to leave, Elizabeth called him and to cancel the staff meeting and move her other meeting online, till they were uncuffed. She knew of Matt saw there would be endless jokes, and Daisy would get paranoid, the press seeing this and making it a big deal. Best thing to do was stay in her office.
2 hours later Elizabeth and Henry were sitting on the couch since it was the most comfortable position , Elizbeth was doing work, and had a bunch of papers and laptop. Henry on the other was enjoying his smoothie and popcorn watching funny videos on his phone. "You know, I can get use to this!. Just sitting here relaxing and eating, it's the best!" he joked.
"haha very funny, also I can't focus with your loud videos!" she snapped back annoyed. Henry put his one hand up in defense, "Okay, what am I supposed to do then, you didn't even give me a chance to grab my laptop at least!"
"Well, just read a book on your phone or something!" Henry scowled back not giving in "You know I like physical books better. "
Elizabeth shook her head laughing and grabbed a popcorn and threw it at Henry. "You're such a dork".
Henry leaned toward nuzzling her ears, "Yeah but I am your dork, he whispered", giving her goose bumps, he brushed his lips against her, giving her soft kisses, which soon depend. He pressed against the sofa, and Elizabeth started to reciprocate the kisses. Elizabeth put her free hand on Henry chest, pushing him back a little, making Henry pout "babe, we can't what if someone walks in, plus I don't want to be in a position with this cuffs where someone would need to help us get untangled. "
Henry laughed, pulling himself off her, "you're right, Blake would actually pass out if he had to help us".
Just then Blake walked in "Madam I have the key!". Elizabeth and Henry both let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks Blake, I knew I could count on you", Elizabeth said as he uncuffed both of them, handing the key and cuff to Henry. "No, problem let me know if there is anything else".
As Blake was handing out, Henry turned to Elizabeth "Well, I am going to make sure Jason doesn't use these again" He put them in his pocket, and noticed Elizabeth looking down a litte sad.
"Babe , what's wrong.?"
"Ohh nothing, it was just nice having you around, and now you have to leave" she said sadly. Henry took the few steps in front of her, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her cheek. "Well, I already canceled lectures, I can stay with you the rest of the day."
Elizabeth looked up smiling, "Really!? But what about your DEA stuff..your other job?"
"I can miss one day, spending time with you is more important." Henry gave a kiss and pulled her towards the sofa sitting down. He watched Elizabeth work and couldn't help but admire how passionate she was and how much she cared for the world.
Few nights later, Elizabeth had a long day, and it was pretty late night. She came into an empty Kitchen, it was dim with only the small lamp on. She knew kids would be in bed, but was wondering where Henry was. Just then Henry walked down stairs, Elizabeth staired at him wide eyed. He was wearing a black police uniform; the shirt was tight showing his biceps and the unifirm even had his name on it. "Henry, what are you doing" she asked confused. She didn't mind though, he looked hot.
"You're under arrest, for being too beautiful" he said in the sexiest tone. He grabbed the cuffs and cuffed both her hands, leaving Elizabeth shook before she could protest. Henry leaned in gave her a kiss. Elizabeth burst out laughing "You are so cheesy, and now I see why you didn't want to give Jason the cuffs back".
Henry wrapped his hand around her waist and scoped her up in his arms. As he was carrying her upstairs, Elizabeth was very much amused by this. "How did you get this uniform anyways".
Henry laughed, arriving in the bedroom, he opened the door with his free hand, and closed the door with his foot. Tossing her on the bed "ohh you know, there are some perks of being Mr. Arm Candy", he said as he pulled himself on top of her, making Elizabeth giggle.
