Chapter 12: Near Miss

Intro: Well here we are on chapter 12: a chapter I originally wasnt gonna have take place in a world that needs saving but I changed my mind and it was a great idea to do so, I forgot what the chapter was gonna originally have plot wise when I wrote its name months ago so this really was a great idea! Now have fun reading!
"THE SKY IS FALLING AND IS ON FIRE!" are the words of lightning ninja Jay as he, myself, the other ninja, and Master Wu crossover into the universe of The Lego Movie through the help of new state of the art technology called Quantum Leap, designed to instantly teleport anyone to anywhere though one drawback is time travel is not included! We are greeted by a red and orange sky and Cole is like: "Its fine Jay, we will figure out what is causing this and save this city from whoever is attacking it!" I comment: "Oh how I wish we knew what all was going on here because this universe was so far away, we had no way of knowing what the problem here is, have to hope that we dont have to time travel or fight the evil space virus that attacks Cornberry every single day.. We are unequipped when it comes to time travel stuff and extracting that virus from a host.." Wu is about to add something but then a massive object nearly hits us unseen prior to such and Kai reacts: "Guys, we are doomed already!" A familiar female voice says: "Not today you arent!" before blasting the object which is a meteor into microscopic pieces! Wu asks: "Who goes there?" "Oh just me, someone protecting the innocent from the latest of thousands of meteors that have caused so much destruction here in the past 2 weeks! Youre welcome!"
It is my turn to speak: "I know you! Youre Lucy aka Wildstyle! We actually couldnt have stopped that thing ourselves, thanks for the save! My name is Warrior Adam and these are my partners on this mission: Master Wu, Green Ninja Lloyd, Lightning Ninja Jay, Earth Ninja Cole, Water Ninja Nya, Fire Ninja Kai, and Ice Nindroid Zane!" "Its nice to meet all of you but we have to get out of here before they find us!" "They?" "This city has been taken over by President Business who has suddenly become evil again and there are these virus creatures that started turning people into more virus creatures not to mention all the meteors!" "Did you say virus creatures? Thats bad news, no one in this universe can extract and destroy the virus from within a living host, not even we can and we`re not even from this universe!" "I will respond later, its now or never!" We all make a run for it just in time to avoid getting caught in a fight between President Business and some virus beasts.. Wildstyle leads us to an underground shelter of sorts where a few individuals dwell.
Cole wonders aloud: "Just what is this dump?" She replies: "My home ever since the meteors started to come. Oh and the few friends I have left are here: the rest got sprayed by the kragle or got turned into one of those creatures.. That includes Emmet, the sweetest guy I know.. Havent seen him since President Business dubbed himself Lord Business again.." Just then, we hear voices from above ground: "We will find Wildstyle and her little resistance to shut it down unless those creatures or meteors get us first." "Yes, I lead a resistance against Lord Business`s tyranny but more importantly, we need to figure out what to do." Lloyd jumps into the conversation: "Well, when we ninja need a plan, Master Wu, Zane, or myself are tasked with making the plan." "Lets just all discuss ideas." So for the next few minutes, we all converse and eventually come to agree on a stealth based strategy to slowly take down Lord Business before splitting up to do so, I decide to go alone, it is best to spread out our efforts anyway.
I say as I activate my duel disk: "Duel time! My monsters cannot physically be here with their real bodies due to how far we are from their world but I can still bring them out! Today, Im going to bring out a host of new artists to show! I set the Pendulum scale with scale 3 Master Horror Artist Scream and scale 9 Abstract Artistic Crong! With them on the field, I will Pendulum summon 3 monsters: Culinary Artist Andrew, Animation Artist Derek, and Master Musical Artist Buthen! Now that I have the attention of just the kind of people and creatures Im wanting to beat and have currently not been attacked by due to how confusing this all is to me will take things up a level! Scream`s ability allows me to discard my entire hand to special summon a tuner monster from my deck! I special summon Artistic Fairy and the card I had to discard was Horror Artist Michael who I can bring back once a turn when they are sent to the card graveyard so welcome to the field Michael! The stage is set, I tune Michael with my Fairy in order to synchro summon Abstract Artist Terror Fairy(ATK: 2800, DEF: 2200)! Crong`s ability now activates since I used a specific summoning method to summon a monster, allowing me to fusion summon with Polymerization! I fuse Derek and Buthen together to summon Musical Artist Jammer(ATK: 3400, DEF: 1800)! It gets better for Jammer`s ability allows me to resummon the fusion materials in defense mode with 0 attack and defense points! Now watch as I overlay Derek, Buthen, and Andrew in order to build the overlay network! Come forth Super Horror Artist Strings(ATK: 4000, DEF: 2000)! My turn is over, come at me!"
The virus creatures try to attack and infect me but I wag my finger: "Sorry but you cant till you get past my monsters! Counterattack my 3 monsters!" The virus beasts are defeated like it was nothing and then the other adversaries just surrender having witnessed all that. "This is way too easy! Oh wait, no it isnt! Meteor incoming! Now all of you: you must remain somewhere safe and not fight on the side of Lord Business anymore unless you want to feel my true power! This is just a tiny bit of what I can do!" After that, I dodge multiple meteor strikes and end up in a good place to not be spotted by enemies or be hit by meteors. I huff and puff for around 2 minutes before contacting Dominic to try to get him to contact virus warriors so the virus can be crushed but he informs me there is too much chaos going on with every mission so he wishes me good luck and politely hangs up.. I turn around feeling something and come face to face with a massive virus beast that peculiarly resembles Emmet.. Sweating, I exclaim: "Oh no! I cant fight you, youre too strong for me and my monsters! We`re outta here!"
But Emmet beast doesnt want us to go so it becomes a game of run and seek, me running and trying to get out of the area and Emmet beast trying to trap me for good before spreading the virus to my body.. "I refuse to be turned into a virus beast again, I had enough of that with the 3rd to last glass of pink lemonade I had! Aha! I forgot I had a vial of virus cure in my pocket which Ive always carried around just in case! Virus, you will now be removed from Emmet`s brain by force by being destroyed!" The beast panics as I manage to throw the vial perfectly to hit the beast, a healthy but confused Emmet emerges a few seconds later just after the beast lets out a distress roar in its last moments. "Where am I? How did I become free? And who are you?" "Lets make this fast, we have some friends who want to infect us! Youre still in the city, I cured you with the only vial of the cure for the virus thing, and my name is Adam, Im a warrior trying to help save your world and there are things about me you will learn later. Now let me take care of these virus beasts." "Oh uh nice to meet you and what do you mean? You can take these creatures?" "Why yes I can! Now watch! There are many beasts in the audience, time to put on a show they cant forget because theyre going down asap!" "How are you so confident? Batman didnt stand a chance against them!"
"Well Im not Batman and Im gonna use a card game brought to solid vision to school these suckers! Now can I have your attention please for Im about to put on a performance! Horror Artist Terror Fairy will now be transformed with 2 of the 3 cards Ive drawn in the past few minutes! I play Monster Reborn to bring back Artistic Fairy and then I Pendulum summon Artistic Magician Apprentice which upon being summoned outside of a normal summon becomes level 1! Next I use both of them to double tune Terror Fairy! On the ground Accel Synchro Summon! Join us for a game of monster crushing, Nightmare Master Horror Artist Twisted Terror Fiend(ATK: 4100, DEF: 2900)! Now demonstrate your ability to double your attack strength once per duel during this now commenced battle phase! Additionally, my monster gains 500 attack points for every Horror Artist on the field! Attack with Terrifying Slash! My other 2 monsters, come out and play! Attack as well!" The impact is felt as lots of creatures are defeated but I say: "Im not done! Sometimes a good scare is the best offense! Oh dont worry Im not a person of darkness, I just like horror a lot! Its time for that 3rd card: Nightmare Fusion which allows me to fuse a face up fusion monster on my field with any monsters in my graveyard so I will just fuse my Musical Artist Jammer with how about all of my monsters in my graveyard! Come to join us for more terror! Player Of Impending Doom: Corrupted Undead Mutated Jammer(ATK: 4800, DEF: 2400)! When another Horror Artist monster is on the field, my newly reborn Jammer can send a opposing monster to their doom outside of my battle phase, now just defeat one monster my Jammer!"
The opposing monsters look on in sheer fear "Oh btw, this is only the beginning for the ace of the Horror Artist Archetype which has essentially become its own distinct thing amongst other artist cards! Now Super Horror Artist Strings, with the bonds and love I have plus the will to win this fight and much more, I call upon you to evolve into a new more dreadful form! Go Chaos Xyz Evolution! Emerge from your coffin a new monster with more power than ever before! True Nightmare Master Horror Artist Strings of Destruction(ATK: 3200, DEF: 0)! Im not done yet for I use effects from each of my monsters in order to special summon 2 Xyz monsters so long as I banish them at the end of my turn and promptly give them the overlay units they deserve! Appear from the depths of the darkest parts of the horror art world, meet Horror Artist Saw and Horror Artist Penny! They wont be sticking around for too much longer for I evolve them as well! Through the irony of my kind hearted nature evolving them into more powerful fiends of nightmare, I shall Chaos Xyz summon True Nightmare Master Horror Artist Saw of Morbidity(ATK: 4300, DEF: 800) and True Nightmare Master Horror Artist Penny of Trickery(ATK: 0, DEF: 4000!"
The creatures all go at my monsters without waiting for this turn so I say: "If youre gonna bend the rules, I will as well by stopping all of you with my Jammer! Now where was I? Oh yes, bringing forth the 3rd to last piece of my endgame against all of you virus beasts! My Chaos Xyz Monsters will be making an exit thanks to Terror Fairy being in my graveyard, allowing me to convert any monsters of my choosing depending on the number of monsters in my graveyard to become whatever level I wish to! I have more than enough to make each of my Chaos Xyz monsters level 12 monsters even though they have ranks instead of levels or at least are supposed to! Now watch as I overlay Saw, Penny, and Strings in order to build the overlay network! I Xyz summon Number 918: Horror Artist Lord Regnes(ATK: 2500, DEF: 0)! Regnes when summoned with Xyz summoned with Xyz monsters has the overlay units of each Xyz monster and that gives an additional 10 overlay units, giving a grand total of 13! Im not done still for I rebuild the overlay network to Chaos Xyz summon Chaos Number 918: True Nightmare Master Horror Artist Lord Regnes! (ATK: 5000, DEF: 1000) Now I will use every ability Regnes has by using the necessary overlay units: a total of 6!" Emmet is so wowed, scared, and confused: "This is insanely in an amazing, scary, and incomprehensible way! I almost want to run away in fear but at the same time stay to watch!"
"Dont fear the horror, Emmet, its not going to hurt you, this horror ironically fights against the forces of evil which reflects how part of my personality can be considered a bit villainous in a way but I remain on the side of good despite that! I hope we can be allies and friends after we beat Lord Business! Now for those abilities: double attack points for each monster I control, gain 500 attack points for each remaining overlay unit, reduce the strength of each opposing monster by giving up half my lifepoints to 0, make as many attacks as monsters that have lost their strength, become immune to opposing effects for this turn only, and finally, increase the strength of other monsters I control by 3000! I just need to use Regnes so go now Regnes, attack our enemies with Frightful Spirit Destruction with a full on 45000 attack points! And thats this battle over!" Once the dust settles, Emmet and I talk and get going to hopefully run into the others while fighting the virus beasts and henchmen of Lord Business, a feat made effortless with the monstrous power of Regnes who is still sticking around and I comment: "I went a bit overboard, it took a while to play that absolute power play but now its time to focus on actually having me fight our enemies myself alongside you, Regnes, and my 2 other monsters who are still out! Regnes as a number monster cannot be destroyed except by other numbers and is absolutely not tournament legal!"
I proceed to explain to Emmet the game of Duel Monsters which gives him the excitement needed to really stick it to our foes! Soon enough, we actually encounter Lord Business who is going around causing terror while meteors hit, Emmet says: "I think he`s scarier than even your horror artists.." "I have to agree, at least my creatures of horror are fighting evil, Lord Business is the evil and spreading true terror, look at all those innocent cilvilians and hosts of virus beasts that are getting trapped by the kragle.. Say Emmet, do you know where the cure for that stuff even is?" "No.." "Thats just great, we cant truly free anyone but Lord Business and his servants from the terror of evil.. I couldnt tell you how we are going to solve any of the problems besides weaponizing the meteors somehow to weaken our enemies and protect ourselves in a epic gamer move thing.." That is when before either of us could react, Lord Business gets us with the kragle: "Now what were you saying about plotting against me? But I do like the using those meteors idea! In fact, I will steal it and use it against my own citizens! Now everyone will know that you dont fight against me for I Lord Business am the neural fusion of a rouge Elimination Virus parasite and the darkness of President Business, we are now one and the same! This universe will be ours for the taking and we will create our own virus to conquer worlds and more!"
My monsters are unable to help us as they are ghostly duel monsters but they do try their very best to tamper with the operations of Lord Business and his lackeys, eventually not even Regnes can stop Lord Business and is destroyed after some time, I actually feel Regnes and my other 2 monsters being destroyed, did someone turn this whole city into a Shadow Game for fun? Of course, I cant move or even hum loud enough for anyone to hear so I am trapped with my own thoughts, the kragle glue is so sticky I cant even melt it with fire magic.. Business goes around and uses his new superstrength which is apparently a thing alongside the eyes that turn into laser eyes now to literally throw meteors at anyone who he deems a threat to his power.. The screams of so many can be heard as this torment continues on relentlessly, Lord Business has gone crazy, Im not sure how he broke free of the mostly conformed thinking neural network within the virus parasite itself but he did and that fact is very concerning much like the fact my own words inspired actions against innocent people, I never intended for that to happen, that villain was so sneaky! These events are very despairing for us, which is yet another form of irony that is encountered during this whole wild adventure..
It seems to never end, the feeling of literal helplessness where only the internal organs within my body can move, the muscles are stuck left unable to do anything, Emmet Im sure is having the exact same feelings: when we are freed and Lord Business isnt defeated by then, I almost want to punch him in the face.. Something very interesting happens as Count Venamous shows his hide around these parts: "There you are virus infected Lord Business! Ive been looking all over for you, why are you the one using that kragle to freeze our comrades?" Lord Business replies: "You insignificant worm. Trash like you doesnt even deserve to be stuck in place permanently." "Who are you calling an insignificant worm?" "Last time I thought, you. I am not on your side, I am going to take over this universe and then conquer the creators themselves!" "You traitor! You are going to pay for this right here and now! Virus beasts, destroy Lord Business, dont give him any mercy! After this universe is ours, I will finally destroy the Supernoobs! Mwahahaha! The virus has gained some powerful new forms alongside the classics!" "Im glad I got infected because now I am more powerful than ever! Thanks for the parasitic gift you gave me and now Im going to pay you back by defeating you and every servant of the creators in this city!"
Lord Business laughs manically as each virus beast that tries to destroy him is trapped by the stickiness of the kragle before adding: "You know I am artificially much taller than you Venamous right? I am so mad you got to Emmet first but so happy that I got to him too along with a new enemy of mine! Look at them! They are just there, frozen in place forever, unable to move! And you know, I like how the claims of critical race theory being a thing instead of systemic racism keeps some parts of this city divided!" "You got that annoying Warrior Adam before I could? Oh you are so going down now!" Business defeats all the remaining virus beasts but then Venamous transforms his ship into a bot: "Greetings down below from up above! Im going to smash you and your kragle because I like smashing things I like smashing things!" Venomous in his Venabot mech easily outclasses Lord Business and pretty much looks like he`s gonna win until Business applies the kragle to the feet of his mech, causing it to take tumbling down with a screaming Venamous and Venaminions all falling out of it. "Fine, I dont need the robot to destroy you!" "I got you right where I want you! Bad Cop, arrest him! I have a better fate in store for you instead of being frozen by the kragle!" Bad Cop appears: "Right away Lord Business." only to be in conflict with his good side: Good Cop. "We must reform or abolish our policing system, it doesnt work!"
"Silence Good Cop! Bad Cop, you know what to do to him especially for making a mockery for this city`s police system!" "I dont care about your annoying politics but youre wasting your time! Now Im going to teach you to not ignore me!" Venamous promptly infects Bad Cop with the virus and Bad Cop devastates the rest of the police who end up showing up, loyal to Lord Business, each officer becomes infected by the virus and Venamous is about to have the last laugh till Lord Business uses the kragle on him, forcing the Venaminions to retreat somehow managing to carry Venamous and fly off in the mech. My whole body is getting stiff due to how long Ive been trapped thanks to the kragle but Emmet and I would soon be finally freed after being left unable to do anything! That comes with a burst of lightning that electrocutes the virus infected cops and stuns Business temporarily, it is followed by shouts of: "Earth!" "Water!" "Fire!" "Ice!" and a green blast, each is powerful enough to free Emmet and I, I look to see the ninja, Wu, Wildstyle, and a whole crew of people! Wildstyle runs up to Emmet: "Youre safe!" Lord Business replies: "Hahaha not youre not!"
A familiar dark aura grows around him and suddenly, he activates an unseen duel disk: "I know youre a duelist Warrior Adam, you will duel me!" Nya cuts in: "If youre dueling, you better duel me too for I learned how to duel and with my ninja deck, you will have a hard time winning!" "Fine then! It will be a 2 on 1 duel with high stakes mwahahaha! I will go first! I draw! Next I activate the Seal of Orichalcos!" Nya and I activate our duel disks and draw our 5 cards for our starting hands just as the seal encircles the 3 of us. "Now I can up to 10 monsters on my field and each automatically gains 500 attack points! I summon Wealth Dominator in attack mode, being able to summon it when I control no monsters! I also play Dark Reinforcements, allowing me to summon 2 more monsters of my choosing from my deck but they lose all strength and abilities! World Dominator and Mind Dominator, I summon you! They are all the same level in order to build the overlay network! I Xyz summon Number 666: Entity Of Universal Domination! But Im not finished for I activate Rank Up Magic Barians Force to rank up my Number monster into a Chaos Number! Chaos Xyz Evolution! Chaos Number 666: Supreme Entity Of Universal Destruction(ATK: 4500, DEF: 2500)! That ends my turn!"
I say: "I will go next! Draw! I set the Pendulum scale with scale 4 Culinary Artist Andrew and scale 11 Comedy Horror Artist Twisted Clown! I now Pendulum summon 4 monsters to join us: Musical Artist Bongo, the tuner monster Makeup Artist Lilly, Digital Art Tino, and Scientific Artist Newto! I now tune Lilly and Tino together in order to synchro summon Artist Protector Toby(ATK: 0, DEF: 4500) in defense mode! This turn aint over till I say it is so now for a fusion summon! By sending the top 3 cards in my deck to the graveyard, I can bring back Tino as a dark fiend monster treated as a Horror Artist due to the ability of Twisted Clown, rise from the grave Tino! Also, when I revive a monster, Twisted Clown allows me to draw a card and the card I drew is Super Polymerization! I will use it to fuse Tino, Newto, and your Number card in order to fusion summon back into this city Player Of Impending Doom, Corrupted Undead Mutated Jammer(ATK: 4800, DEF: 2400)!" "No fair! Oh well! By banishing the top card of my deck, I can bring back my number with all its overlay units!" "Good move but my turn still isnt complete for I will now by banishing Bongo from my field bring back 3 monsters from my graveyard so long as I take 2000 damage for each when my turn is over if they remain on the field! But they arent staying! Jammer`s hidden gem ability allows me to banish a fusion card from my graveyard in order to summon any monster from the extra deck with the monsters I control that didnt come from the extra deck! In other words, I Xyz summon Number 916: Master Horror Artist Lord Regnes only to Chaos Xyz summon Chaos Number 916: True Nightmare Master Horror Artist Lord Regnes(ATK: 5000, DEF: 1000)! I have to end my turn as none of us can attack during our first turns, I leave things to you, Nya!"
"Thanks! Its my turn! I also set the Pendulum scale with scale 5 Samurai X and scale 12 Master Wu!" Samurai X appears out of nowhere floating the Pendulum zone and Master Wu is set to the other Pendulum zone exclaiming: "Im floating! This is so exciting!", Samurai X comments: "Im not sure how I ended up here but it looks like my friends need some help." "How peculiar, last time Nya played that deck of hers, none of this happened to us. But in any case, I am so proud of you Nya!" "Thanks Master Wu and now I Pendulum summon! Green Master Ninja Lloyd(ATK: 3000, DEF: 1800), Fire Master Ninja Kai(ATK: 2500, DEF: 1600), Ice Master Ninja Zane(ATK: 2500, DEF: 1600), and Lightning Master Ninja Jay(ATK: 2500, DEF: 1600)! Next I use Wu`s Pendulum ability to summon Earth Master Ninja Cole(ATK: 2500, DEF: 1600) from my deck since I have 3 or more ninjas on my field! I end my turn!" "Now I will wipe out each one of your monsters one by one! I play Blustering Winds to boost my number`s attack by a thousand till my next standby phase and activate Overlay Regen to give another overlay unit to my Universal Destroyer! To crush your chances of beating my number ever, I will attack Regnes! Actually, scratch that! Lets change the rules of the game, we draw every 3 minutes each but have our monsters fight for real for as you may have noticed, this city is clouded in shadows from none other than the Shadow Realm! Here our monsters are real and the damage we take is also real! Since my useless followers couldnt take care of all of you, Im going to take matters into my own hands with my number! Oh and one more thing, all of us dueling can join in on the fun, whoever loses all of this monsters loses their minds to this dark despairing place as their souls are taken by the Orichalcos!"
So in the most fascinating of ways, we have a proper battle now so I go ahead and try to attack Lord Business with my sword only to be greeted by that number monster just as I draw and play Effect Lockdown, rendering the cannot be destroyed by monsters that arent numbers effect of Number 666 completely unusable! Ha! I used an ability of Jammer`s to negate the attack of Regnes only to play Double Or Nothing to double the strength of Regnes just as I clash head to head with Lord Business who says: "You know, I could use the kragle on you and wipe out many of my enemies but that is no fun! I want to have thrilling in destroying all of you! Btw, if you are physically defeated, you will be locked in the card graveyard forever unless I happen to be defeated! Which I wont be!" "Wow what are you, Mr. Overconfident?" "Whatever, youre not worth my time as I want my revenge on Emmet!" An interruption occurs as meteors hit various spots and the air pressure drops a lot, I exclaim: "The sky really does seem to be falling but it has suddenly become harder to breathe! That wont stop me though for I intend on helping defeat Lord Business once and for all! Oh wait, is the kragle becoming useless as it seems like a bunch of virus beasts just broke free of the kragle?"
Lord Business notices too and says: "NO! I will not stop, I will destroy everyone but me!" Dartz possessed by the Great Leviathan appears and responds: "Very good, use that anger so I can destroy the world we have sought to destroy for over 10,000 years! I was the one who hooked you up with the dark powers that now empower you, Lord Business! Now use those powers so paradise can come here too! Mwahahahaha! I must get going, I have a matter to contend with, an enemy of mine is trying to destroy my new headquarters and my new employees are doing nothing but being defeated." The Orichalcos consumes Business and he reawakens with unimaginable power: "All will fall or bow down to me! Give up and accept me or be destroyed! Accept your new leader!" Lloyd simply states: "The resistance never quits!" "And the darkness never stops growing, you fools are no match for me! Only thing missing is my afternoon coffee! Also, Im done playing by the rules of Duel Monsters completely, I call off our duel so I can fuse with my entire deck!" The duel officially ends, meaning my monsters are sent back and the ninja, Samurai X, and Wu return to where they were. The seal however remains in play which is a very bad sign of terrible stuff to come.. "I control the meteors, just that will mean that I am undefeatable! Youre all finished!"
Random Death Metal music starts playing so I growl: "Not necessarily, till we are turned into corpses or destroyed further we will fight! Youll have to forcibly take our lives with no mercy! We wont give up, even if we`re injured and suffering from the pain we feel that would be able to make us lose ourselves otherwise! The virus spreads, infecting more life forms and becoming a bigger threat of its own afford! Only if something like our brain cells dying will we lose! Gruesome death would be needed to beat all of us, the kragle is no longer useful, virus beasts are breaking free, ready to feast upon us if they cant infect us!" After that, random generic Pop music plays as Lord Business does vocals in a villainous voice: "Look, I have the advantage, everyone loved me once because I conditioned them to be blind to the truth of their society! Nothing can take me away from wanting that love back, I had so many fans including Emmet then I became useless after I was turned to the side of light! Dartz visited me the day after I changed to become evil once again! I will not be defeated now or ever not again!" That music stuff ceases and we all get focused into all this stuff, each of us taking turns to seriously battle in order to preserve our strength, Master Wu is first: "I believe your ways are flawed and will destroy you, come join the light once again much like my own brother did after terrorizing Ninjago and other places. My father is the First Spinjitzu Master and I will fight you with his legacy, my own legacy, and the legacy of the ninja!"

As I try to equilize the pressure, I continue to watch them battle it out. Wu goes in on the offensive now, jumping off his dragon and fighting hand to hand against Lord Business who has now ditched his leg things that come with his super villain get up. "So it seems the enemy has decided to make this fight more fair. Ive faced tougher challenges than this, you will not win this way, I can promise you that." "Here we go again with another one of your speeches! I have watched as those loyal to me have become useless! Useless I tell you!" As the 2 fight, several of us hold off the virus beasts while remain out of range for the virus to spread thanks to my earlier warning about how the virus fights and spreads at the same time. Lord Business continues as they continue to expertly counter each other`s moves: "I am impressed you are able to keep up but this is where it ends, I will take you and everyone else out forever now!"
However, Wu is asked to step aside as a bunch of citizens of the city come to the fighting areas, their leader speaks loudly for all to hear: "These 2 weeks have been the worst weeks ever in any of our life times but now its time to take back the city from those mutant monsters and you Lord Business! You got rid of most of us once before but now that we`re free of the kragle, we have returned to help those who have already been fighting you! You will be fighting all of us now Lord Business, we are uniting to fight!" "You again? NO! You almost defeated me last week! But I managed to win anyhow!" That is when a crowd of angry civilians all attack Lord Business at once, dealing some serious blows. Kai is like: "Gotta admit, that all is cool!" Lloyd adds: "There is so much we didnt know about the turmoil in this city, its just as bad as what Ninjago City has had to face." After a few minutes, Business overcomes all of the civilians and starts attacking everyone is sight in a insanely fast pace that knocks all combatants apart from him to the ground.. Then he laughs thinking he has won but Cole stands up and tackles him before using his Earth powers to stop a lot of meteors completely by destroying them. "I wont let you hurt my friends or anyone else!" "Get off me ninja slime!" "Who are you calling ninja slime pal? I will give you something else to say when Im done with you!"

Too bad for you I was holding back my full strength! I did fuse with my deck after all, I am the most powerful being to ever exist!" I reply: "No youre not! Your power level indicated by this energy reader thing I have shows that while you are super powerful, you arent divine level OP! That isnt to say you wont be hard to beat, its just to show the truth! Now then, lets dance in a battle between all of us and you! Get ready for some fighting like never before! Anyone who can build stuff, build stuff with whatever you can find, we will need to think creatively to defeat our foe!" "Creativity? Oh please, I outlaw that! Just as I always have when Ive been in power as Lord Business! I wish Apocalypseberg still existed, now that would be the best place for me to rule over!" "Be as confident as you want but know this, your end starts here!" "Nonsense!" I begin searching my deck for the card I need and he realizes: "Youre trying to stop me with a card! I will have to stop you from picking that card out now, perish you civilian!"
i dodge multiple attacks just as Lloyd knocks back a bunch of monsters and then pull out what I was looking for: "Hey Lord Business! I pulled Defusion and I will use it on you! Now you wont be so tough or powerful without all that extra power your cards have given you in order to withstand our attacks and be extremely ruthless!" "Not Defusion! Thats the last card I wanted you to pick but I still have a chance of avoiding its power by destroying it!" He unleashes a blast towards the hand of mine that holds it but I pull out my sword in time to block the attack with a lot of effort put in. He panics as I activate the card on him, his cards come out of him and fall to the ground with him soon joining them on the ground for a minute or so before rising back up to finish what he started to the best of his ability. "You may have weakened me greatly but its not over for me yet! For you see, I still have a lot of power even without the cards or the kragle! Though Barian and Orichalcos still run through me! It is game over for all of you as I will condense all my strength into an attack that will wipe out the city and everyone and everything in it, leaving me the sole survivor!" Lloyd makes a comeback: "Youre not the only one who will be attacking with a lot in a single attack! Lets go fight back!" All of us prepare various attacks, the ninja form the tornado of creation, I start spinning myself while summoning fire magic with my sword in hand and yelling: "Flames of Justice Vortex!", Emmet builds a crazy weapon of sorts and gets ready to fire, Batman who was freed uses his best gadgets, the civilians create their own thing to fight Lord Business`s final attack and so on!
Business unleashes his attack: "Youre too late and too slow to stop me now! I win! I will survive amongst a giant wasteland, weak but left unopposed as far as the eye can see! I proudly serve the darkness and will utilize my desires to strengthen it!" All of us fully let out our attacks, thus countering the dark blast that was just about to hit us till we managed to counter it finally. Its a struggle between good and evil, each side pushing hard to win but quickly, the victor is decided when the darkness is gradually pushed back at a linear increase of speed. Lord Business is consumed by our attack, his body unresponsive after the attack fades.. The Seal Of Orichalcos comes to take his soul but he suddenly wakes up just in time with his supervillain gear greatly damaged: "My defeat today set me free from the dark influences that controlled me. I am sorry to everyone I caused harm to, I was possessed by evil from multiple universes.. The virus that lived in me died upon my defeat, the Orichalcos stone that was in my pocket shattered and turned to dust, I am liberated! The Orichalcos cannot take my soul and the Shadow Game finishes now that the darkness has lifted inside of my mind and heart. I am sorry for not being much help Emmet during the last major fiasco. I promise to now be a truly good leader in our city as mayor, I will do what is necessary to heal the wounds of this city and its living organism inhabitants. Now begone, Seal of Orichalcos, you are unable to take my soul now!"
The seal is shattered as Wu gravely warns us: "We have no time to celebrate for the virus beasts just wont ever stop no matter what we do.. It takes so much to defeat one but imagine thousands of them, thats what we are dealing with and I am concerned." "Oh yes those creatures.. If only we had the cure and the kragle actually still worked. Oh well, at least the air pressure drop stopped since the Shadow Game ended, my Shadow Game when I was evil was designed to lower the air pressure to suffocate everyone after a certain time of me not winning." Jay says: "So thats why the sky was falling earlier, the meteors were why it was on fire, I guess I get it now!" "Well now that I am free of evil influences, I can help all of you as best as I can! As leader of this city, I declare that all forces within the city help us fight but be extremely careful. Again, I am so sorry and I am trying to make it up to all of you." That is when virus infected Bad Cop literally drops in leading more to proclaim: "He`s all mine! I will bring him down!" Wu asks: "Why are you singling out him as your sole target?" "Well Wu, I am not satisfied with how the police system back in the country I live in on my home world works, it is corrupt and must be reformed or replaced. It would hold personal meaning if I managed to take down Bad Cop myself, true justice doesnt discriminate or shoot and kill people." "If that is what you wish then go for it." Of course an interruption occurs as a pirate genie shows up somehow, the villain for Lego Ninjago Season 6 or 5.
Seeing him, I just say: "Nope! Lets try the power of Quantum Leap at its max! Quantum Leap technology, send that genie far away! Hes not welcome here to make our fight even harder! Bye felicia!" And just like that, he is gone! I turn my attention back to virus Bad Cop who says: "May the long arm of the law crush all of you in order to make you servants of my new overlords! Attention all remaining units, help me destroy the enemies to the police system and spread the virus! All civilians will want to be law abiding after this, no more people using their rights to protest or anything! We will run this town ourselves and kill any people who have different skin color from us should they do something suspicious!" Before he can continue on, I send a ranged fireball attack at him saying: "Listen here bucko, youre fighting me! I have a bone to pick with you and I dont intend on losing or giving up though that will always be a possibility, I will dismantle the long arm of the law here and now if all goes to plan! Now fight me! I dare you!" "You must be a rioter! You will be punished!" "I dont burn buildings to the ground, McGeniusPants! Stop generalizing people or you will be sorry! But anyway, lets have a showdown! Im ready for what you have!" Bad Cop virus beast soon realizes acting like a beast will not allow him to win so he starts doing what police in America do a lot: using a gun. He just keeps firing at me but I keep melting the bullets though one does manage to hit me but I get it taken care of quickly. "That is lame and sad! Youre more willing to murder someone with a gun than even enforcing to law! Thats disgusting! I just hope youre better when youre no longer infected by the virus! Forgiveness can be given for what youve done if you improve! Now lets see how you handle this! Infernal Tornado Slash!"
I focus fire energy onto the tip of my sword before spinning it around and throw it right at him, dealing significant damage! I get my sword back just before he literally mutates himself further to have a gun for an arm and a taser for another arm. He says while tazing me: "Why dont you try this?!" "I have a counter! Sword, it is time to show everyone your evolved form that I have yet to debut!" My sword evolves to become larger and more powerful in an instant and I stop Bad Cop`s taser arm completely! However, he uses my moment of joy to knock me down and put his foot over my neck: "You arent worth infecting with the virus, you deserve to die alongside the filthy dark skinned people you defend. I know about what happened in your world, Im going to put you out of your misery in a few short minutes. You cant even try to get up." "You wont get away with this, you will be defeated and wiped away to leave only good cop unless you change. As it becomes harder and harder to breathe, I want to let you know that you are one of the worst examples of police brutality ever. There is no sympathy or empathy for you as of right now. If this is how I go then so be it but know this: my death by your hands will not be in vain, it will be a signal boost to fight much harder. Ive lived a great life in this body of mine, super amazing but if I die here, Im still alive in my original body so ha!" "You have another body and arent afraid of me?" "Im not afraid of you because I know the kind of person you are currently: rotten, sick, twisted, and corrupted. You represent the very evils of the police system as it stands in many places. I activate my duel disk through a neural link generated by my duel gazer which I forgot to mention I put on earlier. And then I pull a card from my extra deck and play it: "Come bring this misguided self absorbed so called bringer of justice down Chaos Number 916: True Nightmare Master Horror Artist Lord Regnes!" My monster is summoned and knocks Bad Cop right off me, leading him to say: "WHAT IS THAT?!" "Youre worst nightmares come to life, born not from suffering or evil but ironically from light! I now can recover from your awful attack and not die! Now Regnes, use a really special attack to really knock some shock into him with Chaos Burst of Night Terrors!" He literally screams and is shaking as he is knocked back: "Spare me! Please, I will do anything!" "Now that is what I call turning the tables! But your body language shows that youre lying! Now time for you to face my abilities, infected police vs artist warrior! Paint a picture of torment, Chaos Number 916!" My number card attacks him again and he gets even more scared! "You brought out the worst in you against me and gave me no choice but to bring you to your knees with Regnes! What shall I do with you? Is that a bullet I see there, youre still trying to kill me huh? Figures, types like you almost never learn which is very unfortunate. I wonder when I can take down someone who is so much like the former president of the US. Even you are just barely too rational and sane to be like that loser!" "I cant be losing, this isnt possible! You are cheating! You must be!"
"Youre one to talk, youve been trying to murder me and thats not very nice. No one deserves to die at the hands of police, do you understand that now? I have a plan on what to do with you until the virus can be removed from the bodies of all those who have been infected but your mind is much too powerful for it right now, I dont plan on breaking you, I plan on distracting you so I can use the power of a different number card in order to halt the influence of the virus and allow Good Cop to take back control! I also summon the Player of Impending Doom for a 3rd time today!" As my monsters attack and I dodge more bullets, I place a blank number card by Bad Cop! Heres the deal with all these number cards showing up, I created 2 of them but the others have been scattered across the Zexal multiverse, not appearing till within the past few years for reasons unknown, my first number card is one of them. I then go in for several sword attacks and after a little bit, the influence of the number on Bad Cop is evident by the 822 mark on his forehead and the card transforming into Number 822: Injustice Fighter. I have all attacks cease upon seeing Good Cop take back control to which I state: "Hey Good Cop, we havent met and I am so sorry for the pain your body is in, Bad Cop infected by the virus tried to control me and I had to get some associates to help me but those associates will give nightmares to anyone they defeat, introducing my associates now! *Does so* Anyway, you should know by now what to do now, fight against the virus beasts! And pick up that card on the ground, it is protecting you from being controlled by the virus, it is no ordinary card, it is a card that may one day unlock a seal to take down a great evil alongside 998 or so other cards. Now I must go for I see a friend in need."
I run off and see that a bunch of monsters have ganged up on Lloyd, seeing him as a major threat, I blast one of them with a Plasma Ray and join Lloyd: "Hey all powerful Green Ninja Lloyd! Looks like you could use some help and I arrived just in time! Lets take them out together with my 2 summoned monsters! I will also add my 3 other Horror Artist ace monsters! I need to create a decklist with my cards so I know what I can play fully!" "You came at the perfect time, these monsters had the upper hand and there is no way I could have gotten out of this, I am hurt and exhausted." "In another twist of irony, you are the one who needs to be saved and protected! I have one more way of upgrading my monsters, I play Light Conversion, this allows me to sacrifice my 5 monsters to bring out 5 light attribute monsters in their place based on their respective monster card types! The catch is I cant draw a single card for 5 turns! But that matters little! Chaos Number 916, transform into Chaos Number 916: True Heroic Master Multimedia Artist Lord Regnes! Player of Impending Doom, transform into Player of Peaceful Harmonics, Solar Ray Jammer! Terror Fiend become True Master Comedy Artist Derpy Fiend! Penny become True Master Multimedia Artist Penny of Inspiration! And finally, Saw, show your final form! True Master Wood Artist Saw! These evolutions give each one extra attack power and hidden abilities! Now it is time for the 2 of us to join them!" My monsters attack as Lloyd and I go attack with ranged attacks, I am surprised Lloyd is still able to do such powerful attacks, that all is super duper impressive but more importantly, we are demolishing the competition!
I say to Lloyd: "I am glad we are friends now, we`re not around each other all the time but still! How funny: if it werent for Gorganan and Covid-19, its likely I would have never met you or the other ninja but here we are, Nya knows how to play Duel Monsters, Jay can play Beyblade, you have learned the joys of Monopoly, and so on!" "I agree, you are very interesting to talk with!" "Okay lets focus on showing these beasts what stuff we got! Speaking of, take this beasts! Glitter paint spray, oh yeah!" I spray several of them with glitter paint before adding glitter glue to the mix! "Oh dont worry, it all will come off when they are themselves again, it will all just fall off, even the glitter will! They can try all they want to get it off right now but will fail and only end up causing themselves to lose sooner! No idea how well the others are faring but we are doing pretty good considering your exhaustion and injuries as well as my own. Virus beasts, you have officially lost and will be knocked out forever only to wake up as your true selves again, free of the virus that infects and controls your systems right now! If only we had the cure, the best we can do is defeat these beasts over and over again until someone is able to help us cure them or extract the viruses within and destroy them.."
A few minutes later and my monsters are destroyed as Lloyd and I are surrounded by thousands of virus beasts, we are both really not fit to fight but are being forced too essentially due to the precarious situation we are in, the beasts manage to defeat literally everyone else and turn them into virus beasts as well.. "I spoke too soon, it is possible for us to get out of this mess but Im not really sure how and Im the person who comes up with solutions to problems very quickly.." "We must endure and keep fighting!" "Yes but I wonder how long this will last, we cant keep them back forever ya know.." We fight as hard as we can, doing our best to keep going in the face of practically impossible odds aka ya know the typical mad lad hero type stuff.. I am too weak to summon anymore monsters from my deck or to even continue talking, the neural link in my duel gazer is left useless as I am mentally exhausted as well as physically.. No way to call for help and decreasing ability to fight back makes for a "we are doomed unless someone somehow manages to save us even though we never sent a distress thing" story that I wish we werent experiencing.. As I am forced to sit down, unable to stand up anymore, I say: "I will keep fighting for as long as my body is able to but if we fail, please know that Im glad to have spent my last moments in control of my body with a friend of mine, we are doing really well considering our odds, we are breaking the limit of what everyone thinks is possible!" "I agree. We are going to lose with honor if we cannot hold on long enough to beat our enemies."
Time ticks by, we still put up a good defense, and still have some strength to keep going and then I realize I am reaching my true limit: "Lloyd, I hate to say this but Im almost out of physical strength. We need to combine our remaining strength into one in order to have a shot out of getting out of this situation with our brains being controlled by us and not virus parasites." So Lloyd and I put the rest of our power into one final attack, an attack that does defeat a good number of beasts but more beasts take in to take their place and we brace for being infected until Zenblock`s voice is heard: "Yo Adam and Lloyd! You need some help? Dont answer that, we will stop these annoying virus beasts for you! Noobs, do what you do best and dont screw this up because I would very much like to enjoy a mixed berry pie instead of having to fight virus beasts constantly till I die!" Memock says as they are all visible and on the Galacticus: "Hey Zenblock didnt get completely mad for once at all this week including just now! I have to say Zenblock, I am proud of you! Now less talking and more action! Lets put on some epic music! Groovy time! Xr4Ti, fly us in close to those 2 so we can rescue them and get them on board! Noobs, Zenblock clear a path for the Galacticus to land while doing what is needed!" As awesome music plays, the noobs and Zenblock go around destroying the virus parasites inside of living creatures and Zenblock comments: "Wow the humans here are so different but I should have expected that! Oh well, time for tasty tuna lunch man to give a nighty night forever to those viruses! Extract virus, exterminate then inject cure into another individual and repeat!"
After the Galacticus is able to land safely, Memock gets the 2 of us onboard and gets the ship in the air again as the others can literally just teleport here at will thanks to Tyler and Zenblock`s battleballs! Now that Lloyd and I are on the ship, we are able to rest and thus gradually gain strength back, Memock says: "Im glad to see that you 2 are okay despite being beaten and exhausted! I would have you both in the healing chambers but last time we tried to use those on individuals who do not possess battleballs, the Galacticus nearly exploded.. So I guess we will have to wait till we get home before you both can be treated." I reply: "Thanks for the thought! Its really interesting how we have a cure for the virus now!" "I know right! The Belevolent Alliance in collaboration from independent thinkers such as Mr. Wertz from Cornberry Middle School who you mind crushed to turn good were able to make a cure for the virus which has turned the tide of the fight against the virus in our favor once again. The creators began creating new forms of the virus and yet the cure still works against them, our cure is not a vaccine because it outright destroys the virus instead of training the body to which would be hard because the virus is a large parasite being." "True! Its more like a medical drug than a vaccine if we`re being honest here! Very great to have around! So glad I can talk again! That whole thing took a lot out of me in even just a short time!" "So what did happen?"
I explain the events of today before Lloyd joins the conversation even though he clearly needs more rest than I do, we manage to convince Lloyd to get some more rest, reassuring him that he will be okay, even the most confident of people has their moments of fear. Memock asks me to get some more rest too and I do so until Zenblock loudly yells in triumph: "WE DID IT WE DID IT!" The Galacticus is made to land and well, there are thousands of individuals just chilling at the moment instead of thousands of virus beasts. Good Cop comes to me: "While Bad Cop is an important part of me, thanks to you, I feel confident enough to take charge more often for now on and with this card here, I will lead the city into a better future with a better system than the current police system!" 15 minutes zoom by until President Business makes a public speech right in front of everyone: "These past 2 weeks have been the most horrible times for all of us. As your mayor, I once again apologize for what Ive done and hope you can forgive me. In the middle of all these events, we lost some lives and lots of home is in shambles. I need your help citizens of city to rebuild and change our systems. I was able to be freed from dark influences and through how I look back on those times, I will be able to give better advice moving forward. If it werent for Warrior Adam, the Supernoobs, Memock, Zenblock, and the ninja showing up, we would have all lost to the virus by now. To them, Im grateful for their services to this city! Heres to them! Im gonna hand this microphone to someone else to keep this going, I pick Warrior Adam!"
I accept the mic and say: "Greetings to all! Today we faced many difficulties to get to this point, it was so tough being able to fight on especially when Lloyd and I were surrounded by thousands of beasts: it is safe to assume the virus wont infect this city again anytime soon if ever. The teamwork it required to get to this point is amazing!" After I say these things, several others have things to say and I ask Wildstyle: "Hey, would you and the others be interested in join our team of evil fighting heroes? We need all the help we can get to take down Gorganan and his plans! If you accept, we will take you to where our operations are located at. Do you accept?" "Yes I do but lets ask everyone else first before a decision is made." Eventually, all of them agree and soon enough, we are all off to Cornberry together and once there, Dominic greets us all and has myself and Lloyd sent to the healing pods that he invented and had built. Here is how things went for me with the healing pod. "Analyzing injuries. Diagonistics complete: several wounds and physical exhaustion, further rest is recommended after this healing process. After you are healed, you will find that you will have been enhanced to become slightly more powerful than before you were hurt from battle. Please be patient as the process begins, this will take a few minutes."
When all that is done, I emerge out of the pod feeling great and go see Brayden in the training room in our house: "Hey Brayden how are you doing?" "Im doing as well as always, I heard about what happened to you so there will be no need to tell me how you are feeling. I didnt anticipate you would come and see me. Why do you wish to speak to me?" "Oh I just wanted to ask if youre identity has changed as of late." "I may be your leader, a power given to me from you and may be one of the most powerful mages out there but even I have my troubles and that includes with my identity. I have found out that I am Pansexual after doing some exploring within myself and after doing so, I realized that something was bugging me but I couldnt put my finger on it, I remembered you talking about identifying as he/they and then it hit me. He/him does not fit me nor does they/they but instead, she/her, I realized that I am transgender female!" "Have you told anyone on the team besides me that youre trans Brayden?" "No, I have been too afraid to come out.." "Fair, theres some work that needs to be done to educate some on gender identies divergent from the norm, just come out to everyone sometime or at least to Dominic because Im sure he can get you on HRT soon after you tell him! Know that youre loved and cared not to mention valid, youre a great friend Brayden! Do you still want to be known as Brayden?" "I will do so, thanks! And yes, I like my given name and talking to you about this makes me feel a lot better, thanks for being a great friend!" From there, we talk some more and then hang out with others the rest of the day after a much needed big lunch!
Outro: Another wild but awesome chapter written! Lots of unplanned stuff in this one again and Im so glad I introduced a change to Brayden in this chapter, I want to make my characters more diverse and this is an excellent start! Trans rights are human rights! More gender and sexual identity changes to some characters coming!
