Chapter 2 : of life in this new life

After that incident, renata was travelling with nothing but clothing in her body. She run away from the men that cause the incident because mafia men might come back and catch her just to know her father whereabouts or became a hostage, renata never knew that her new life's childhood would be like this.

('then again, isn't me reborn as G's little sister also something I never expect ? …. You know I'll stop this kind thingking , it's tiring… ha…')

' will G be alright alone ?... he will be alright, indeed in the history that I read in my last time did say he used live in the street together with primo. Just hope I am not mess too much' tsuna thought.

While travelling, renata make sure she was healthy by eating fruits or herbs she found in the forest, she also go hunt some small birds or rabbits, while it's not entirely alright but it's enough to stay healthy for five years old girl. She was also make sure to stay clean with bathing in clear river or lake she found within the forest. renata was grateful to reborn for making her training in the forest many times in her last live ( ' not that I like it but it still useful for me to survive' ), if not renata was sure she will not survive alone in the forest. After many days walking in the forest, renata at least make it to a small town. She entered the town and looking around, she hope she can find a church or orphanage to stay for a while until she adult.

' finding an orphanage was difficult than I thought, i managed to find this one. I hope it's not an orphanage that abuse the children' renata thought.

renata got in front of the orphanage door and knock, a few minutes later a lady with blach hair and emerald eyes open the door, she look at renata.

" hello dear, welcome to rosemary orphanage I am lorensia. But you can call me sister loren, what can I help you with ? " asked loren kindly.

' she seems nice ' renata thought.

" I … I .. mom … died and I .. don't … " ' shit! I should at least practice or planned something! If reborn know he will have my head (R : dame-tsuna looks like I should tor- I mean tutor you again ) ' renata didn't know what to say, without she realize it, her mother incident was shocked enough to her young body and mind.

Suddenly sister loren gasp and graps renata's small hand and said " oh dear lord! Come inside then! Looks how cold your hands are! Let's heat your small body, dear ". Sister loren pulled renata inside, she feeds renata and ask her name. After that she take renata to a room to rest and give her a couple of cloths to change.

' that's went better than I expect it would ' renata thought.

Renata POV

Life in the rosemary orphanage wasn't bad, it's good really. It was nice to help to take care of kids. It has been many years since the 'incidents' I now already seventeen years old almost eighteen. Since the incident, I always trained myself to become stronger so I can protect my dear ones as I don't want what happen to my second mother (' my first mother will always be sawada nana, while she was not perfect she was kind and love me dear as she was raised me alone since dad (sawada iemitsu) distanced himself to protect us' ) to be happen again. Also, it's better to be prepared after all. I was surprised I am still a sky when I try to summon my flames ('which I am glad too').

Since I am already adult now, and more than ready to leave by myself and because I want to search my brother, G. I packed my things inside a small backpack as I don't own too much item just a few things here and there. After that I change my cloths to easy going cloth as I will have to travel to sicily. When I see my image at small mirror in my room, I could say I grew up and become quite stunning lady. And as I was a guy before, I could say I quite pretty. I placed my mother necklace around my neck as I closed my eyes and remembered her. I brushed my long pink hair and braid it a little at the bottom of my hair and put a little red liquid lipstic around my plump lips ( ' now that I remember my second mom also stunning even after having two kids, must be our genes'). After I am finished, I stand up and get out of my room.

Outside everyone waiting for me, the kids, the caretaker(other nuns), and sister loren. I hugged them one by one. When I was in front of sister loren, I couldn't stop my tears, so I cry as I am sad to be away from her, she was like mother figure to me.

" don't cry dear, when you part with someone, please smile, with smile you will find happiness. I hope you will find your brother and reunited with him " she said with a tear in her eyes, her once black hair now already start turn into gray due to old ages.

" thank you sister loren, may god always bless you and everyone here. Please take care of yourself " I said as I smile to her.

" I could say the same to you my dear, may god always bless you " she said with a smiles, her smile never dimmed it's radiance even if she grew old.

" bye bye rena!","hope you alright!" all the kids and caretakers said while waving their hands, some of them can't stop crying while some of them tried not to cry in front of me.

" bye everyone! Until next time! " I said as I get inside the carriage.

" everyone seem to love you there miss " said the driver.

" yes, but I have to leave to find my brother " I said.

" hoho.. I am sure your brother miss you a lot " he said.

" I hope so, and thank you for giving me a ride " I said as I smile to him.

" not at all miss as I want to go there too, that town pretty peaceful because of vongola " he said.

" vongola you said ? can you tell me about them ? " I asked him.

" you interested in them ? hoho.. whose not though they are not like other family, they protect the town and it's people and never asked anything in return " he said smilling happy as he tells me about vongola.

As I heard the story, I miss fratello more and more. The carriage enter the town and stop in the middle in near the town fountain. ' I gonna see you soon, wait for me fratello' as I thought this, I said goodbye and thanking the driver again. My next stop is vongola mansion, I must hurry. I smile widely as I walk, ignoring the stares that direct to me (' why though, I never understand').

Meanwhile at vongola mansion.

A man with pink-( G : oi ! it's red or magenta! ) I mean magenta hair sneezed. This action alarmed his blond haired friend that has unruly hair that seemed defy the gravity rule itself with eyes as blue as the sky. " you alright, G ? " he asked worriedly.

" yes, now back to your paperwork giotto " the man named G told his friend with a stern expression.

When G said this, giotto pouted and give G puppy dog eye, but who G ? he was vongola's storm guardian and giotto's right hand man. G only narrowed his eyes and giotto sulked but wisely continue signed his paper. G currently helped giotto with paperwork as he organized the papers while keep his eyes on giotto. If you ask 'why', this was because ten mimutes earlier giotto just ran away and tried to escapes doing his paperwork and G, as his good childhood friend and right hand man 'kindly' put him back to do his work. And by 'kindly' I mean by shouting at his boss for being lazy, or whacked his boss head for escaping his paperwork and forcibly dragging him by his collar back to his office while threatening giotto's stash ( hiding sweets) if he tries to escapes again, such a good and close friends they are.

" I .. I suddenly remember my sister, that's all " G said after silence a little.

"oh.." was all giotto could say, after all he knows how important renata to his best friend G. he clearly remember 'that day too'. He remember too clearly what happens, G's face and his feeling when they go to G house to eat dinner together with G's mother and his sister.

Flashback

" come on giotto! Hurry! I want to introduce you to my sister rena ! I know you will like her! " G said while beaming which a surprise to giotto. As much as giotto know his friend dind't beaming no matter what.

" okay, okay, you don't have to run like that. I know we must hurry but you could hurt " although giotto said this, he was excited. Who wouldn't ? he was about to meet his best friend younger sister that always he heard from his best friend himself. G always talking about his sister, so many times that sometimes giotto thinks to himself that he already know G's sister even before meet her.

But for some reason his head was hurt and there was this nagging feeling in his heart, it's like telling him something will happen, something big and bad will happen. This alert giotto as much as he doesn't believe in ghost or supernatural, this thing always saves giotto all the time he was in danger. The only problem was he doesn't know what the problem. When he was near G's house he found out. The feeling was warning him about this.

He and G froze. Thick black smoke was coming from G house and at there there seemed about something red and blazing in the direction of G's house. When they see the smoke, they run toward the place at fast speed that seemed impossible to children. When they arrived, they found out G's house was completely engulfed in flames, eat anything around it as giotto couldn't tell it's structure. As they stares at the burning house, they can't help but think that ever cackle of those flames feels like mocking laugther, like it's mocked them for not being able doing anything as they lost another lifes within the flames.

As giotto stares at the burning house he heard a broken sobs. When he turn around he saw G bit his lips as he silently cry for his mother and sister. Giotto didn't know how to comfort his friend, but he will try for him. He silently walk towards G and hugged him while rub his back. He know G need him, need his comfort and presence. G was so broken so much that himself didn't know what to do. Inside G's head, all he could think what if he was there, what if he was home earlier, then his mother and rena, his sister will be alive!. G didn't know when he was collapsed as he too consumed to his own grieve. When he cames to himself, he found out he was hugged by giotto as he comfort him for his loss. Then he cry, loud and broken cries. Clutching giotto's shirt as he hug giotto back. Giotto comforting words made him strangely warm like when his mother hug him along with rena and he would happily bathe into their warm. When he thinks this , he realise giotto was all he has now and he don't want to lose him like he lose rena and his mother.

After that incident, G becames overprotective toward giotto as he didn't want to lose him too. Even if giotto only has small cold, G becames panick as he nurse giotto back to health. If giotto notice anything he was never said it or mentioned it as he know he was the last pillar to G's sanity.

End of Flashback

" today, isn't it ? " giotto asked. He was answered with silence but he wait as he know this won't last long.

" yeah, it is " said G sadly. The sadness within his tone was something giotto noticed right away and he doesn't like it, it's feel so wrong hear it from G. Giotto prepare to distract G or comfort him to get G's negative thought and sadness away from himself like he always does every year around this time when suddenly the door opened and a maid named sena comes shyly.

" sena ? something wrong ? " giotto asked.

" yes, someone looking for master G " sena said.

"someone ? looking for me not giotto ? now that's rare " G said curiously.

" what does the person look like, sena ? " giotto asked as he was also curious.

" umm… she ( ' a girl search G not me ? not that rare but to come to mansion is' ) has pink hair and brown eyes with a tint of orange color, she quite beautiful as-" before she could finish it, G graps her shoulder and asked in shaky breath " her name? w-what's her name ? " (' that's look like how rena is'). G's hands trembling as he couldn't believe what he hear next.

"her-her name renata. She said her name is renata " and with that G run toward the guest room looking frantic and trembling as he couldn't belive what he heard. He run without notice giotto follow him in the back and shouting his name.
