Chapter 15: The Search
Date: June 19th, 2021
"Alright then, lets duel!" Wait wait wait let me stop myself from getting ahead of myself, there is a ton of missing context here so let me start at the beginning. We have had enough of Gorganan`s tricks and manipulations so we are beginning to start taking matters into our own hands by searching as many worlds as possible to find out where he is hiding and the true extent to his power. The whole team was in on the discussion and I volunteered to check 3 places today, the first being Twisted Land. I arrive to Twisted Land alone but with all my gear, the Minecraftians will search the rest of Minecraftia but Twisted Land is where Im searching as it is my own pride and joy. Speaking of joy, I end up teleporting right by my new roller coaster that I have been working on recently for the park and some park guests see me and get excited, one of them, a young kid says: "Its really you! Youre not working on building and you have a sword and so much other cool stuff!" I reply: "Yes it is me, I am here on official searching business as theres a problem on my hands. Would you care to know?" I end up explaining the situation in similar terms and encourage they spread the word because not only is Twisted Land in danger but so is the whole of existence that I can travel to on demand and perhaps beyond. With Gorganan messing up time and having a very dark force to back him up, he will not be easy to defeat. Now if one of us could find that gate that requires every number card in existence be placed into it in preparation for the final battle.. Anyway, I say goodbye to them and head towards where that Tech Temple once was underneath till it went poof after Brayden led the way into it and we all got what was needed to be extracted. I make my way through the park, passing by the Mayan temple I built then into Cartoon Lake and from there, Sci Fi City. Once I make my way to where I want to be, I take out my energy detector device to see if I can detect anything and I am left with nothing to detect in the area..
This forces me to walk throughout the rest of Twisted Land to find anything, I occasionally am stopped so I keep explaining whats going on but that bothers me little. Eventually, I walk into Quickdraw Canyon from Prototype Land and see a figure in the distance just standing around on the sand, getting to them, I jump the oak fence that I had placed a while back. The figure has a duel disk so I demand: "Who are you and what are you doing here in my park? My energy detector indicates you are surrounded by evil energies." "Hahahaha! Ive been waiting for you! Duel me and I will answer anything you want to know as much as I can, that is if you can manage to defeat me!" "Alright then, lets duel! I have placed my new Environmental Devastation deck into my duel disk and I also select the action field Desert Plains! Good thing it only changes the appearance of the ground a bit because Quickdraw Canyon is already covered in sand! I will go first! I activate the field spell Climate Crisis! Heres how it works! For every turn starting now, all monsters that arent fire attribute monsters lose attack and defense points with 50 this turn but during each of our standby phases, that amount doubles! Just as the climate gets hotter and more extreme in my world, all non fire monsters will be weakened! Now I play the spell card known as Environment Crash! Every time we summon a monster, it gains one Doom counter and when that number hits 12, I can sacrifice it along with other cards that have other conditions met to end this duel in my victory with a monster that hardly any card can beat! I summon Natural Gas Production Golem(ATK: 3000, DEF: 1000) in attack mode, a level 8 monster I can summon when I have no monsters out but the summoning is treated as a normal summon! 2 facedowns, end turn!"
"Your suffering has just begun! I draw! Summon Corrupt Celtic Guardian in attack mode! Play Dwelling Of The Darkness, its a field spell now for every one of my turns, you lose 1000 lifepoints as long as I control a monster! I wont let you win as easily as you think you will! I activate Double Summon to summon another monster! I pick Dark Harpie Lady! When I have 2 dark monsters on my field, I can special summon Tormenting Bull! Now I Xyz summon using my 3 level 4 dark monsters! Come to me Destructive Fortress Of Pain(ATK: 3800, DEF: 0)! Now I use all 3 of its overlay units to attack 4 times with it this turn! I win mwahahaha! Attack with Rapid Fire!" "I dont think so, I activate Block Attack, forcing your monster into defense mode!" "I will get you for this! For now, I set a facedown and end with that!" "My turn now! Alright, I reveal my other facedown, a trap known as Contract With Big Tech, it allows me to summon one extra monster every turn from my deck, but I lose 2000 lifepoints every time a monster summoned this way is destroyed in battle! The irony of this deck is with it being themed to climate change, we had to design cards that are based off of what causes climate change and what will happen if the rich in my world continue to have their way! Now I will summon Businessman President`s Pet Burning Secretary in defense mode and Climate Change Denier Soldier in attack mode but they arent sticking around for long as I sacrifice 6 of the Doom counters to activate a special effect, allowing me to add one Polymerization from my deck to my hand!"
I smirk: "Feast your eyes as I fusion summon with my monsters card 3, Fossil Fuel King(ATK: 4000, DEF: 2000)! Btw, Im feeling kinda chill so I wont duel by attacking, you can attack all you want but Im gonna use my patience to earn my victory, I need to save my energy for when I do even more searching. Also, as long as I have monsters in my graveyard, Fossil Fuel King cannot be destroyed! You have played right into my hands, I dont have to attack attack or completely devastate an opponent early on to win! One more thing, I reveal the other effects of my field spell, on turns 5, 7, and 10, our monster slots and spells/traps slots will be reduced, 1 on 5 and 7 and 2 on 10 because sea levels are rising as we speak! The limited scope of the field spell means it wont mess with my park! Next effect, starting when turn 10 comes, all monsters that arent fire monsters will be forced to do battle in order to survive what little of the world is still safe to inhabit! You go now but remember on your turn, all monsters that arent fire ones lose a total of 400 attack points!" "I draw and you lose 1000 lifepoints! This duel is for real, our damage is real so you will be forced to surrender in the end mwahahahaha! I switch my fortress to attack mode and play Grave Fusion, fusing all monsters in my graveyard by removing them from play to summon Dark King Gorganan(ATK: 5000, DEF: 4000)! I was loyal to the original Gorganan and now I pay tribute to him with this card! Attack that other ruler!" "Not so fast, my monster switches to defense mode as long as I have fusion materials for it in the graveyard! No damage!" "Nope, Stop Defense will stop that defense! You will soon lose in just 3 of my turns after this one!" "I banish a card from my graveyard to activate Fossil Fuel King`s ability to destroy that Stop Defense!" "NOOOO! Fine go already!" "How kind of you, the counter number is at 2 now! I just drew Conspiracy Theorist Shaman and play em, I kind of feel sick with the monsters in this deck but its part of the theme and Im testing this deck for a friend of mine anyway! I use that certain card`s effect to also summon Duopoly Defender in defense mode! The two monsters I summoned build an overlay network so I can Xyz summon Servant Of Blazing Heat(ATK: 3100, DEF: 50)! Its turn 5 so you have to be more careful on how you play your cards now!"
"I have nothing I can do besides take away more lifepoints and play a facedown." "So thats how its going to be, sounds like youre planning something so I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your facedown! Whatever you are planning to do will not work! Servant Of Blazing Heat negates all effects that harm my cards as long as it still has one or both of its overlay units anyway! Thats the turn, you can go now!" "Youre driving me nuts! I came here to destroy you and yet you are unfazed by the damage I am dealing to you! I have to play this monster in defense mode as my field spell requires an empty hand every 2 of my turns. Not even its effects of increasing the points of my monsters or keeping them immune to battle are useful anymore. But still, I will find a way to destroy you, just you wait, I promise you!" "I draw and first I will use Scrap Synchro to remove monsters in my graveyard from play to synchro summon Cult Leader Crump(ATK: 0, DEF: 3500) in defense mode! I will use remove an overlay unit from Blazing Heat to destroy that facedown monster!" "Haha! Now you sprung one of my traps, you lose another 1000 lifepoints thanks to the flip of Despair Spirit!" "Well then, I choose my Crump to stick around next turn, the sea is coming closer and it will probably wash away any chances of you beating me!" Turn 10 has my opponent summon out a huge ace monster known as Spirit of The SDL(ATK: 8000 which is zeroed out alongside defense, DEF: 1) which cannot attack on the turn it is summoned. And he was forced to have to destroy his other monsters as was I as the world has been very flooded due to the melting of the ice caps thanks to human driven extreme record breaking climate change. My spell with them counters remains on the field.
"Its my turn again! Turn 11! Your monsters have been made completely useless in attack power throughout this duel, you may be in the lead but soon, your defeat will come to pass! I send Crump to the graveyard to summon any monster of my choice like my Summon Giant who I also send away to summon another and again for another and once more for another! This duel is over! I banish Climate Crisis, Environment Crash which now has 12 counters, all 3 Summon Giants, Servant Of Blazing Heat, Contract With Big Tech, and Fossil Fuel King in order to summon through the final effect of Environment Crash the ultimate card of this deck: The False Idol and Destroyer Of Nature, Forty Five(ATK: ?, DEF: ?)! When this card is summoned, all effects are nullified for the rest of this turn! Additionally, it gains 300 attack and defense points for every counter sent away, thats 3600 and another 1000 for each card banished! This monster can be summoned from my hand with 3 monster sacrifices but it was in my deck and would have had attack and defense at 2500 if summoned that way! 11600 attack and defense points! And when attacking a defense mode monster, the difference between their points goes out of you! If this duel had gone on for 2 more turns, you would have been able to defeat me!" "NOOOO! You cant do this! You beat me so effortlessly!" "Thats what happens when a many great minds come together starting with my creative input in order to create a deck designed to beat the likes of you and teach environmental awareness at the same time. I use my power to protect you from the attack as I require my answers still! Really need to spare the likes of you more often, oops.. Back to the deck, I can see with my own eyes how true things are about who is behind the environmental destruction in my world and now that the duel is over, the fields are off. I guess we both got so caught up in things that we didnt pick up any of the action cards! Thats in the past now. Tell me your name please!"
"Thank you for saving me, my name is Garg. You want answers? Well let me tell you something I think you should know, you rightfully defeated me and spared me unlike any of my masters. To be truthful, Ive been waiting to be defeated for years I can be freed from the dark contract I signed many years ago. You want to know my intentions, I was sent here by Gorganan to stop and capture you, he sent out others for your friends and allies.." "Hey Garg, how did you become bound to such a contract?" "It all started when I was a kid, I loved to take on larger people than myself in sword tournaments and would always lose until a dark figure offered me skill and power I never had in exchange for my loyalty and since then, they controlled my life as long as I kept winning. Your victory broke the contract and I am so happy to be free! Under the figure`s orders, I served the new Gorganan till now after the old one was absorbed and had their identity stolen as Im sure you may know." "Thats a whole lot of stuff happening.. Question: can I see your deck before finding the other information I seek?" "Sure, here." "Lets take a looksie.. Your monsters arent exactly the best arsenal of effect monsters, theres no way you could have beat the deck I use with this deck!" "That is true, Gorganan said that I didnt have to win, not realizing my dark contract of course, he authorized me to snatch you anyway. Now that I can be me again, I will be moving on from these evil cards!" "Okay, what can you tell me about where he hides?" "I was only ever there for short times after I would be called over to come see Gorganan so I dont know too much. What I do know is that he is extracting power from cosmic objects and his lair is made out of pure darkness. There`s a city of some kind nearby but he never told me much of anything ever." "Thats very interesting when considering everything, he is doing something similar to what the SDL did though the SDL conquered universe after universe, enslaved the lifeforms, and extracted power from negative emotions across the multiverse." "You fought the SDL but I was told he was lost in time!"
"Nah, the SDL originally didnt time travel all that much besides messing with a individual`s attractions apparently. Guess he just wanted to make things worse for me and the others when we were in that wizarding world.. He hadnt even come to be till 2 months after we first got there or however long it had been.. Of course, Gorganan caused the SDL to want to change history and so I had to help undo what all came out of that. Theres a lot of history of myself and my teammates, maybe you can help us and in return, I will personally help you more! If you join, you will get all the answers you yourself desire! Anything else you can tell me about Gorganan?" "Nothing but all of that is eye opening! Gorganan lied big time to me and also, that figure I spoke of depended on the contract being valid to stay alive, I sense that they have dissolved into nothing already." "Well then, its best to get going, Twisted Land may have something hidden that I dont know about in the part of it I havent searched! And as always, theres some sort of interruption, why am I so itchy all of the sudden, I feel an itch pain and itches elsewhere.. Hold on, give me a couple to deal with this." As Garg waits, he just admires the park, especially the dang big wooden coaster that Ive been creating from scratch without a design planned out at all, so glad I finally got rid of one of those coasters that shares the same layout as like 20 others in this park. Soon, I am free to go and decide to take Garg in a park tour in part with help from my Quantum Leap band to have an excuse to see if I really did miss something when looking around. We go down into places most people have never seen when it comes to Twisted Land such as the abandoned tunnel that was made of glowstone and still, nothing turns up until I get us under part of Christmas Land, a note that reads: "The evil that you seek lives in an impossible environment."
I pick it up and read it: "How peculiar is this? Someone with good intentions must be planting little hints for the team and I!" We then getting back to Quickdraw Canyon discuss a bunch of subjects until we decide to ride rides together, a friendship is being forged and I just know it will be a good one! Getting off Red Rebel and heading towards Visual Distortion: The Ride, I ask: "So where do you come from? Now that you have accepted the offer to join the team, I cant help but ask!" "Well, I come from a universe where I was born and raised on a Martian colony for humanity, my parents left Earth to help establish an eco-socialist utopia on Mars in contrast to the growing corporate led world order of sorts, many members of worldwide Green parties live on Mars to escape persecution for being too woke." "Okay wow, thats super wild! Kinda reminds me of TerraGenesis and I have the feeling it will be a plot point sometime.." "Say what?!" "There are some things that are best left unanswered, you dont need to understand what I was going on about. Also, I want you to have this deck right here!" "Oh okay, I wont bother you about that but what is this for?" "You will need something to protect yourself with, I dont think the welcoming party in the next world will be very friendly. This deck is called the Culinary Terror, it features a whole deck of foods that will not leave a good taste in the mouth of any opponent without dishing out sides of mayhem! It was developed for the purpose of giving anyone I encounter who needs a deck and stands on my side! Each of the cards had my creative input put into them! Now let us enjoy this rather mediocre ride before moving on to what else is worth to ride!" Garg gives his thanks and puts the deck away before riding that ride and then all the rides I want us to do that we havent done yet. Soon enough, we encounter a small problem, the media..
Media people are just firing question after question for me wanting to know what I am doing here in the flesh. "Silence all of you, let me give you what the whole of Minecraftia needs to know. Existence as we know it is in danger and I stopped here to look for any clues as to any information we dont have on the villain who has messed with space and time far too much to ever be forgiven for such an act unless they change and do so much good it outweighs what has already occurred. This park has been the target of malicious attacks and held a secret ancient but technologically advanced temple hidden underneath an empty area inside of Sci Fi City. I must go with this new friend of mine, we are going to head to another world and universe all together shortly. I will not answer anymore questions because there is nothing else I have to say except stay safe everyone, stay calm about the danger, try to have fun, keep following Covid rules in my park and beyond, and have a good day! If you block my path, I will make a path for myself or just vanish with my bud, there is one ride that I want us to ride that we havent been on today: Cactus Calamity!" The media steps aside and we get to that ride, enjoying it before teleporting immediately into a certain Pokemon world where Pokemon were fused with humans.
Ending up in a field, I say to Garg: "There are lots of Pokemon in this world, its best for at least one of us to find a Pokemon to be buds with to follow the rules! I have a bad feeling about the state of things here, the fact that I dont see any Pokemon around is a bad omen." "Okay but whats that blue creature?" I look to where he is looking and spot a starter Pokemon known as Squirtle who looks very distressed and scared.. The poor Pokemon hugs my leg in fright.. I move myself down to Squirtle`s level: "Whats wrong Squirtle? And where are the other Pokemon?" "Squirtle squirtle.." "I cant understand a thing you are saying.. Hmm, duel disk activate! I now summon my newest artist, Multilingual Painter Artist Zoey! Hopefully Zoey can allow me to understand you Squirtle.. Typically Zoey`s effect would allow me to look at my opponent`s hand on the turn she is summoned so I will use that ability to translate! Zoey activate Language Barrier Evasion!" Squirtle talks again but this time I can understand them: "Help help! Scary monster taking over world!" "Well, it looks like we got here at the right time almost like fate and the hands of time are really in play right now, imagine that destiny! Then again, each individual lifeform that is ever born or created is the result of so many years of prior decisions and events in a scale so large it can break someone`s mind! And I just remembered that Pokemon can communicate through feeling the feelings of humans and respond directly to that stimuli. But its easier to speak with words! Zoey, I will keep you around till I dont need to anymore but I will use you in a duel for sure just not now. Its going to be okay Squirtle, this evil can be defeated, stick with us and we will protect you and be new pals of yours, how does that sound?" "I like you, I want to be your Pokemon! You will save your world along with who last saved humans and Pokemon!"
"Yes you can be my Pokemon partner but it sounds like we dont have time to do any training which would allow you to progressively grow stronger.. We gotta get moving! I pull out my energy detector again! The readings indicate we need to go Northeast to wherever that enemy is!" "Im still scared, Dark Mewto is terrifying!" "Dark Mewto?! This cannot be good, modern Mewto was created in a lab and therefore either dark magic or malicious science created this Dark Mewto." That is when a bunch of transforming ditto Pokemon ambush us and I take my chances: "I didnt know that you dont need a Pokemon in special cases to tame a Pokemon so now its time to use you Squirtle for battle! See what you can do! I so happen to have been researching Squirtle alongside other Pokemon recently to figure out what I might have to battle in this world. So with that knowledge and considering the power I see inside of you Squirtle, I want you to use Tackle on any number of those Ditto Pokemon! So Squirtle, use Tackle!" The attack does nothing and the Ditto deal damage to the 3 of us so I say: "We dont have time for this! The rules of Duel Monsters dont matter here so come forth Regnes in your light form and same with you in your strongest of forms which is also a light form, Jammer! And Terror Fairy, you come out to play too! Squirtle, I want you to get back so I can build your attack and defense with some cards!" Squirtle and my cards do as I wish so I am able to equip Squirtle with 3 copies of Power of The Guardians, saving Squirtle from defeat one time for each counter placed on any of the 3 and the number of counters on each start at 0 and increase by 1 every attack, allowing Squirtle to become stronger the more they attack! Squirtle is now engaging the Ditto Pokemon a whole bunch and by the end of the battle, Squirtle is a lot more powerful so I keep my duel disk activated! Garg is impressed: "I have heard much about Pokemon but I had no idea Duel Monsters could sync up so well with Pokemon!"
"Well, you can thank solid vision technology for that, it was developed by a certain person from the Fusion Dimension of the Arc-V dimensions! Solid vision technology brings the cards to life practically! You dueled me with holograms in our duel but while those are good at creating the illusion of real cards, solid vision allows you to touch and feel that illusion, its technology far beyond what my world has as far as public knowledge goes! Thats enough out of me, lets make quick tracks! My Quantum Leap band needs to charge from solar power so we cant teleport for now." "Thats so cool and that last part in understandable, I am amazed at that advanced teleportation device! But where to like do you know where we need to go?" "I will ask so Squirtle, do you know where we need to head to specifically?" Squirtle shakes their head and I comment: "Since we have no idea where we need to go but know the direction to get there, we have to be alert and careful, running will sap our energy so its best not to right now!" On the way to the target destination, I make up sea shanty shish and sing a bunch of good vibes things to reassure and calm Squirtle while strumming on the acoustic guitar I got my hands on a little while back after the whole wild west stuff of last time. That park inspector is slowly getting back on our side but whats more important is that we make it to a terrifying scene in one place. The 3 human heroes of this world Harry, Tim, and Lucy are on the ground weak with Pikachu, Psyduck, and Mewto all defeated at the foot of Dark Mewto. Dark Mewto sees us and laughs: "More people trying to stop me but I have only begun my revenge on this world for turning on me! I escaped from prison and created this Dark Mewto with help in order to be a powerful vessel for me as my human body is dying! Even Mewto is powerless against me, no heals for Mewto or other Pokemon!"
I wag my finger in warning: "Your overconfidence will be your end! Thanks to a game you have never heard of, a low level Squirtle is about to help beat you! These cards are powerful when together! Regnes and my other monsters, I want you to defend whoever you can! Now then, I summon Healing Wave Generator and play Artist`s Secret Trick: Mass Healing allowing me to apply the healing to up to 5 targets of my choice! Next I use Healing Wave Generator`s effect to do that healing! I select a monster and for each level it has, I typically gain 100 lifepoints but thanks to my other card, I apply the 1200 from my selected Jammer to Mewto, Pikachu, Pysduck, Lucy, and Harry! Sorry Tim but I am not able to heal you, I apologize." "Are you finished? Good! I will destroy you by merging you with your Pokemon! Mwahahaha! Those fools over there managed to escape the fusion but you wont! But first I must do something to allow that to happen! Men, apply the R to that Squirtle!" The infamous chemical R splashes onto Squirtle and as my little buddy begins to turn into a beserk Pokemon, I respond: "Nope! R counts as a spell card so I play De-Spell to put a stop to that chemical! I could battle you myself but what is the fun in that?" Howard who is Dark Mewto is enraged: "Fight me yourself? Just who are you?" I pull out my sword: "My cards should have said enough in their own but oh well! See this sword? I have battled many enemies with this very blade including multiverse invading maniacs! Beyond this universe, there is practically an infinite amount of other universes and in many, there lies enough to beat you in an instant! Such as literal gods, dragons, spellcasters, soldiers, people with technology that changes their DNA and gives them cool powers, and much more! The scope of even your world view is narrow, you dont take the time to think about innocent people at all, you just want power, your scope of curing your condition has gone way too far and now you have us to worry about!"
With Howard distracted, Pikachu, Squirtle, Mewto, and Psyduck launch a counteroffense that hurts for that terrible businessman! I then dismiss Zoey, knowing that with my forged bond with Squirtle, I dont need her to understand my Pokemon perfectly any longer. Dark Mewto/Howard cringes in pain more: "No matter how much I suffer, I will make you suffer even more! I have access to every ability of every Pokemon in the world! Thats right Mewto, we took things to 10 more levels with Dark Mewto and with this body, I will reign supreme for certain! Shadow Ball!" I play my Negate Attack trap card to give us all a little more breathing room. Tim asks me: "Really who are you and where have you come from? Whats with those cards of yours, Ive never seen a card game like that ever!" "As the battle rages on, I answer: "The short answer version for these questions is this: I come from another universe and have beat down a bunch of villains with lots of friends and allies, this card game is called Duel Monsters and in some universes, this game originated from something ancient and has impacted the history of many alternative Earths and in just about each, the world has come close to nearly be destroyed at least once.. If you join me and my new friend Garg plus my Squirtle, I can lead you on a new path but we`ll talk about that if we can defeat Dark Mewto!" Speaking of the enemy, he launches another attack that knocks all of us off our feet. "For people who are so eager to stop me, you are quite easy to knock down! Soon my dream of human and Pokemon becoming one will become true and they will all serve me willingly or unwillingly!" I point out: "Even if you pull this off, there are some people who wont be turned into Pokemon due to the immense resources needed for your plan and some dont have Pokemon they are connected with at all! Last time you tried this, you fused humans with their Pokemon partners as Mewto and Dark Mewto have the ability to transfer human souls into Pokemon! I must say, you realy dont entirely think things through, you arent equipped to handle the unexpected! In my world, what you did was captured in a motion picture film called Detective Pikachu so millions know about what happened in my world and Im one of them! Things that were seemingly just fiction are actually real but in other universes apart from the one Im from! Its quite an amazing reality but also a dangerous one coz of people like you!" "I will find a way to defeat all the obstacles you listed but first, I must take my son out of the picture once Im through with all of you! Now take the power of several legendary Pokemon at once! I will win with this one attack!"
I then command Squirtle: "Squirtle! Take the hit, you got enough protection from my 3 copies of Power of The Guardians equip spell cards and counter while you are at it to grow stronger!" Squirtle goes right in and takes the full force of the attack, its so powerful 27 counters are removed from my equip spells but at least Squirtle still is supported by 9 counters and took no damage, what a total relief! "What have you done to that Pokemon, this is impossible!" "Not impossible when a game I love is compatible with Pokemon thanks to incredible technology! This same technology allowed one human to merge with other creatures twice to become a powerful menace! This is how we do things back in matches of Duel Monsters! Perhaps this battle is getting a bit too long! Squirtle, you keep on attacking as much as you can but remember to stay well defended and dodge attacks! I will join in on the fight, it will honestly be more fun contrary to my earlier statement! Additionally, I launch my Beyblade Burn Wolf who is all shiny, clean, and dent free, the advanced parts were again upgrades! Burn Wolf, let it rip! Now switch to Ultimate Mode and make me proud! Thats not all, get ready to feel the metal Howard! But first I require all individuals on my side to wear earplugs for this is going to get loud! I have a pair for myself as well!" After the earplugs are applied to all, I get out my electric guitar and start just going while screaming: "The darkness taints judgement of those who fall under it, it eats away at everything else, looking to grow strong! Good and evil never cease to exist and fight on and on in a cycle that is infinite across all of existence! All forces unite, defeating evil is not easy most of the time! I want to defeat you villain, I want to make you see that what you have done is wrong! Feel the metal and witness as your ears are blasted! Spirit inside grows looking for a fight against the forces of evil! As far as I can tell, we`re nowhere near being defeated as of right now!"
Finishing the metal with some shish, I put the guitar away and again pull out my sword while saying: "I summon another monster to join us and their idenity will remain hidden as they help out whoever they can find get to safety and so on! Its also prime time to start letting this be your downfall Howard! And why is every villain a pushover now? I really dont understand.. I theorize its because you villains arent ready for me entirely anymore! To stop me, you have to expect the unexpected and counter! Now for my Flare Storm attack! With the fire generated by my energy and the heat produced by friction and work in the area, I will give you something to go bleh as a result of! We emit heat all the time especially when at work, this battle is a perfect spot for this one attack!" The moves hits bullseye but Dark Mewto is far from defeated either: "On 2nd thought, you remind me of the park inspector I faced! That villain gradually defeated myself and others so we all weakly had to combine attacks by first using lots of annoying distractions! Sad that I didnt bring my art supply terror but oh well, a friend needed that stuff for a project of theirs! But back to the battle, I wont back down! It was so easy to get back up ya know!" After a lot of fighting, my cards go to the graveyard: "It looks like I managed to somehow use up most of my duel energy.. That means Squirtle is in deep trouble now.. Burn Wolf special move! Defense Drive! Keep Squirtle safe, we were on the verge of a breakthrough regarding our fight against the enemy.." Garg has the same exact problem and I have a talk with him: "So now that you cant fight with your deck anymore which is the situation I am in too, what are you going to do now? We are starting to lose in a turn of the tide after all.. Squirtle was doing so much damage with these equip spells and now we are in this big mess after such a standstill of sorts full of loads of action.."
"Nothing, I have no way of fighting since I refuse to use my sword anymore.." After talking him into using his sword, we rejoin the struggle, it is so fierce that I am not going into detail about what kind of defeat we are being handed until I find a way to heal all of us, a one time use healing thing Dominic made, Garg provides a long enough distraction to allow me to do so! Burn Wolf in the meantime is the only one who isnt very hurt at all and continues on strong, after that incident at Ghost Town, Dominic and I stepped up the bey more than ever as always, battle data is just so dang important! Now that we are all healed with wounds closing up completely and the horrors of a few minutes ago in the past, we fight back with a reborn determination, one that is very strong! In order to switch the tide over back to us, I get close to Dark Mewto: "This is for everyone you hurt! Mind Crush!" The Mind Crush scatters his brain a lot, he is still a very powerful foe but he aint on his A game anymore, this is the chance we needed! My connection with the shadows has been weakening but Im happy I was able to still pull that off to spark our comeback and dang is it a good one! Howard is speaking out his inner struggle: "I want to surrender and release myself from Dark Mewto before destroying that monster! I will find another way to cure my illness! But ruling over humans fused with Pokemon isnt the right way to do anything! What am I saying? That all is a big fat lie, this is the only chance I have of not dying of what I contracted and getting the power I deserve that I have left! Darkness will win! No! The light of hope will show us the way! WHY CANT I DECIDE?! My mind is split in 2! I must free this world from my own darkness! No I must rule! Aaaaaa!"
The dazed look indicates the struggle happens as his body goes into autopilot, still carrying out his dark desires of course.. We do not hold back anything though and I unleash more attacks alongside Burn Wolf while Squirtle hides behind me(I cant blame poor Squirtle at all for doing this). In the end, the dark wins over the light but thats not in time at all, Howard unleashes several powerful attacks but is weakened further by doing so, giving us the edge needed to defeat him, this causes Dark Mewto to separate from Howard who is now laying weakly, breathing heavily. Before Dark Mewto can even think about doing anything on their own, I pull out a blank Duel Monsters card and seal away the Pokemon in it for the time being. Everyone is shocked by what I did: "I had to do it, good use of what little Shadow Magic I was still able to use today. That was the best way to stop Dark Mewto." Howard gets up: "Im sorry for everything, my mind has been opened and I hope I can do whatever I must to make things right even if it means I spend the rest of my life in jail." Harry is about to arrest him but his son Tim stands in his way: "Hey dad, we should let him make up for what he did but have a close eye on him. Dont arrest him, I promise this will be a good thing, his defeat must have taken down the darkness inside of him." "Okay dude, lets do that, let him go make it up." The situation is further figured out and discussions become underway, ending in my asking Lucy, Harry, and Tim to join us with their Pokemon with the promise they will return to this world later on and you get the drift. So with a team of 3 Pokemon(including my Squirtle who is crying tears of joy now), me, Garg, and the 3 others, we head off to the final world I agreed to check out today as I found what I could from the Pokemon world during the discussions, a mysterious vortex is in this universe, one that may lead to Gorganan but hey that answer is better than nothing.
The last world is the world of the movie Wonder Park, a film in which a girl named June with the help of her parents creates and brings to life an incredible theme park inside their home and one day, June finds the park but actually real and full sized thanks to magic. I see that we are near the house where June lives and inform the others of what this world is all about and also the following: "In order to succeed in the mission, we must recruit June and some others who happen to be close to her to come with us to Wonderland. She is one of the wonders in Wonderland after all! That means she needs to know about the dark energy presence that is very high in that park right now. It looks like she is having a bunch of people over to see the version of Wonderland she has made with the help of mostly her parents! Perfect! I want all of you to follow me, it`ll be easier to do introductions by having all of you with me! Now lets do this thing! Act natural, let`s use this as an excuse to see a marvolous feat of creativity and toy engineering! I will lead the talking for this is my plan and Im the one who picked going to this world today! Lucky for me, I learned ahead of time there wasnt anything to find in other time periods of this world and the others. My scientist friend Dominic is so handy to have helping out with stuff!" We act all cool as we head into the outdoor part of Wonderland model and I just gwak over all of it, so much so I forget our mission until I spot June hanging around and talking to people before doing the thing where she whispers in a plushie`s eye in order to cause a new ride to be created in Wonderland. "Peanut, we want you to build the greatest top spin ride made out of food ever!" And after that happens, now is my chance! I gather up the others and approach June: "Greetings June! This Wonderland park is so incredible, its not full sized scale wise but wow, hardly any family pulls off anything like this! The rides actually work and look so much fun, the life of Wonderland is here for certain!"
She replies: "Wow thank you so much and who are you?" I introduce myself and the others and add: "We are honestly here on some serious business, I am amazed at all this but there is something even more amazing that must absolutely be visited!" She gasps: "Do you know about Wonderland being actually real?" "Yes I am well aware and we`d love for you to come with us, the goal of what we are here for is to find clues as to whats up with a crazy evil villain I have been helping undo the damage of for months! These allies/friends of mine are new to this whole saving other worlds thing but they will learn! Now you must ask your parents if its okay or maybe ask them and your closest friend if they could join us along with you! I believe those you trust the most deserve to experience the real deal once the new darkness is lifted from it, I know more than you think. Evil lerks in the park more than ever since you restarted Clockwork Swings with the help of Peanut and the other mascots! I will explain more later but we have more important things on the agenda and dont worry about transportation, I got something that will help us get much closer to the park in an instant." June then asks her parents who are unsure if they can trust me so I get in on the convincing myself by pulling out my energy detector: "Check this out, this energy detector can detect all the motion and so on around us, you can see that this area is covered in motion energy and electrical energy! Please trust me, the darkness must be stopped and we can use some creative backup like you." They make up their mind, agreeing and then June convinces her closest friend before announcing that Wonderland is closing for the day early. After the crowd clears out, I teleport all of us as close to the park as possible. When June left it, it faded away but now we watch as it appears before us with both sunshine and darkness in the sky..
"See I told y`all there is evil here.. Now we just have to find Peanut and the other mascots wherever they may be plus scout out the enemy. Pokemon, youre small and cute, go find the enemy and run away as soon as you do, we cant let y`all get hurt when we have the choice to prevent the hurt for now! Squirtle gained a lot of strength via the defeat of Dark Mewto which will be very helpful in that task! June, youre the brains, I trust you to develop a plan to stop whoever we are gonna face! June`s parents and friend, follow me, I will protect you with my powerful blade and heart, we will search for the mascots so stay close, they should be around the park entrance but they could be anywhere! Pokemon world humans, team up with Garg to do some buttkicking and exploring too! We will meet up when the Pokemon figure out who the enemy is, I realize that a lot of us will fight the enemies but Im asking the Pokemon to find the main villain specifically and try to extract what the intentions of that villain are! Lets move it or lose it!" I lead June`s loved ones throughout the park, June goes to inspect Clockwork Swings for starters, the Pokemon head towards the firework area, and Garg`s team head towards the big roller coaster! Very quickly, we find Peanut being kidnapped and taken away: "Hes the big personality and magical one! He has a very special gift that whoever is attacking this park could exploit, I see intelligence in who kidnapped him! So its time to stop them! Go Burn Wolf! Let it rip! Stop those enemies from taking him away!" The kidnappers are confused to see a fast moving spinning object coming for them and being stuck in puzzlement makes them open to a strong direct attack courtesy of Burn Wolf that literally blows them away in a move borrowing techniques from Leone Lion Gale Force Wall and other moves by Rock/Fang Leone possessed by Kyoya in the Beyblade world.
I pick up Burn Wolf and then free Peanut from his cage. "You saved me! Thank you so much! But Im so scared, evil terrorizes this park again, will this ever stop?" "Fear is natural, I would be afraid too but I contain a strong power capable of taking down whatever evil lerks! I want to help beat the evil so much no dark forces will want to destroy Wonderland ever again! Just what are those creatures?" "Robotic zombies who were once Wonderland`s new robot mascot action figures.." "Mascot action figures? Wow you must be seeing way more than double which is never a good thing at all, that spinning top that saved you was launched by me, I dont need to be paid back for this!" June`s mom comments: "Peanut! Its really you! And wow this shows that Wonderland really is alive, June must be so happy, her father said she drifted away from Wonderland and that going to the real deal helped her save and get back into it!" Peanut asks: "Who might you be?" "Im June`s mother, I was once responsible for telling you what to create! But whats with the evil?" "For some reason, Clockwork Swings stopped working again and a much more powerful darkness emerged, much of the park has been destroyed by it and its army of robots.. Speaking of robots, here they are now! We better get running!" That is when I pull out my sword: "I will stay and fight, I suggest y`all stay as well, I can take these toy menaces! The first attack is mine! Unity Blast! An attack fueled by my devotion to others and a blending of the magics within me all shot out with my sword as a medium for which to manifest!" The robots speak in some language none of us can understand, I would summon Zoey but I need to save what little is left of my dueling energy after everything. Once a whole bunch of enemy troops are defeated, we walk around all over the place to find the other mascots and finding each one goes about the same, I slash up robots and then Peanut convinces them to come with us, win win bang bang formulaic!
This is when things get a lot more difficult, we reunite with the others and we learn from the Pokemon that the villain is not from this world, it seems that we have a bit of an interdimensional invader, a being possessed by the Light of Destruction, a evil force that wants to unite Earth by brainwashing its people to see the light, a major headache for Duel Academy in season 2 of Yugioh GX.. Luckily, the villain isnt interested in fighting through dueling, thats literally the best part, it gets worse from there.. "The Light of Destruction? This doesnt bode well, if any of us are defeated, however is will see the light and join their side becoming all brainwashed into a cult while retaining their personalities. Im just glad we dont have duel ghouls, those were even worse, constantly being beaten down and getting up without breaking a sweat and only stopping when their target becomes one among their numbers as well. Lets just cut to the chase and head for that villain but on the way, lets share what else we know!" June says as we all start walking: "I dont understand how Clockwork Swings still works and keeps the park alive while evil is destroying it and painting everything white.." "Painting stuff white? Thats exactly what happened the last time I know of the Light of Destruction making a mess of an Earth world or well trying to! Those robots are like the scary cute zombies that ravaged this whole park sometime ago but worship the Light Of Destruction and.. Paint things white.." Everyone is impressed at how much defeating I can do when it comes to the robots while also helping gather an army of individuals who used to be those cute scary zombies, the others contribute to fighting the robots but Im honestly doing the most which in the end wont matter, we struggle a bit to fight em all off but we still do and inch ever closer to the target location and once we arrive, we confront the villain who is not very surprised: "I was expecting all of you and welcome! Now then, you are in my domain of what was the fireworks area so you must play by my rules! I heard from a little spy Evil Hero Malicious Edge who managed to secretly watch over Jaden Yuki about you Adam so if Im going to take down all of you, I must start with you while the others fight my robots! I know you duel so I challenge you to a duel, one that will be for your mind!"
"Fine, lets duel already, the sooner the better, Im ready to go home, Ive had a wild day today! Since you challenged me, you can go first as you are so confident in yourself!" "Good choice! Malicious Edge is now a part of my deck, I managed to take all of the Evil Hero cards along with Dark Fusion in secret but they are now White Hero cards thanks to the mighty Light Of Destruction! I activate White Fusion to fuse White Hero Enlightened Edge with White Hero Wildpower in order to summon White Hero Enlightened Edgeheart(ATK: 2800, DEF: 2000)! Now I place 2 cards facedown and end my turn!" "I go now! Draw! I will show you a whole cast of new artist cards, I set the Pendulum scale with scale 1 Traditional Master Artist Meteros and scale 8 Digital Art Master Artist Golem! That allows me to Pendulum summon my 3 monsters in my hand!" I dont want to reveal those cards yet and Im keeping this retelling of what happened today to a limit, the duel is very hard, I am left unable to use my extra deck at all even, my lifepoints hit 50 in the end but I manage to pull off a victory! The villain used similar moves to Jaden Yuki so its not entirely interesting for all to hear about what they used against me. Just watch Yugioh GX or read the episode summaries of that show which go into detail about all them duels in that show, the only different in strategies with the villain is they locked down a good chunk of my best cards and used that to pull me under while Jaden likes to go with the action in a duel, its what works best for him ya know, I actually got to duel him last night for fun since the Yugioh world where the world doesnt split into 4 after solid vision is invented was restored after beating Zorc and the Earthbound Immortals.
The villain named simply Destruction says: "You defeated me and I am upset about that but now its time for the true test for you and everyone else! Can you beat a villain who knows your every move before you make them! I just blocked that punch of yourself right as you form it, I can see the future like the previous host of the Light of Destruction can! I quite like this body as well and refuse to leave it!" I manage to warn the others about the danger as we all get ready to fight Destruction full on with a force of mad intensity. An idea pops into my head, doing something that is so fast the villain cant realize what he is predicting before it happens as he cant understand what is to happen if that is even possible. I move like a total dingus before getting my sword out as one can guess by now with little effort and just start to swing it as fast as I can. Sadly for me, my plan fails as he says: "I saw that coming! You are trying to quickly move in order to make it impossible for me to block you, good plan except you forget that I can still stop you!" I am pushed back by some mysterious force and go in again to fight but keep getting knocked back and hurt over and over again, my efforts just keep failing until I am forced to stop fighting, making me have the status of defeated. None of the others fare well and before I know it, we are all the ground beat and scared. June whispers in Peanut`s ear to try to pull something, however, the villain already knows what is going to be done, its been 5 minutes since I was defeated and I have regained enough to do something, I make a bunch of silly faces and other dumb things, turning his attention towards me while Peanut creates a new attraction themed to giant firecrackers! It is summoned right behind me so I keep distracting the villain who now is struggling trying to concentrate on the future as he gets ever closer to being forced to contend with that giant firecracker ride! "I know your plan, you want to get me in the path of that ride so Im beaten up by how it operates but it wont work!"
"Nahna! Look at me loony butt! Over here! You wanna fight? Too bad you cant predict what several opponents of yours can do, that is the weakness of the future sight and part of why that previous host only dueled against individual opponents. Course youve heard what Im saying right? Well, Im just gonna block your attacks as best as I can and force you to make effort to stop that so my new pals can do shish without you stopping them! You knocked us down but we are gradually getting back up and recovering!" "Will you ever shut up?" "Only when I want to, not when you want me to though!" My distraction works like a charm, leaving Destruction wide open for a direct assault that hits just right, sending him back and he is unable to stop it! Dang, the battle is heating up now as this tactic will change how the battle proceeds from here on out, you can try to keep me down but I will always try to do something to get back up or get someone or something else to fight ya! Sometimes I am left unable to do anything so the fighting I do is meant to throw the villain off their game a bit and hold em off somewhat! Note, I need to stop saying cut to the chase so much, it aint my big quote! Whatevs, shish just keeps on going until Destruction says: "I cant fight all of you at once and I am losing now so I guess its time to unleash my full destruction on all of you, it will destroy me but destroying you will allow my remaining minions to take over this park and the world surrounding it! Im willing to make the sacrifice, say goodbye! The light guides me and I call upon its power to rid this world of these defiers who refuse to see the light! I use it to summon all Arkana Force monsters and White Veil and fuse all of them with me for my final move Light of Destruction Enlightenment!"
The massive attack wipes the villain out first and then we are about to be next, I have stuff ready though, creating a shield, standing directly in the line of the attack and block with my sword, activate several trap cards to weaken, slow, and stop the attack among other things. Peanut is tasked to help me by creating something just as the others do what they can defend too before all of us who can attack at a distance do so while still defending. The attacking is meant to reduce the power of the attack before it hits our defenses, I am so not summing up another villain battle in this way ever again unless I change my mind, the struggles of limiting how much I write to document all these adventures, ironic considering how much work this takes. With all that effort came success, we avoided the park being damaged by it and saved ourselves! What a comeback but I am exhausted and hungry.. This doesnt stop me from saying: "Hey y`all from this park and world, how would y`all like to join a massive team dedicated to fighting evil? June`s parents and friend plus June, we can get you trained for just about anything with the diversity of expertise that we have! You mascots seem to have the whole fighting thing properly worked out! As we tell all new members, you would spend one day in our headquarters world and the next in your world carrying over from the last day you experienced in your world so its like going to sleep in your world and waking up in this world then going to sleep in this world and waking up in your world with no sign of it being a full day and 2 nights since you last were in there. To simplify, I will use calendar dates! Lets say its the 15th in your world, you would wake up after sleeping in this world with the date being the 16th instead of the 17th. Does it make sense now?"
They all gladly accept to which I say: "Great! Now we can repair this park or rather let Peanut use his magic to do it in 5 seconds and then go get a bite to eat, Im starving, Ive done a lot today! So glad I managed to met each and every one of you! All help is needed to stop Gorganan during whatever his end game ends up being which I am not entirely looking forward too, he stands out among other villains in multiple ways.. I sure could go for some french fries or funnel cake right now, both sound amazing, this park has a great selection of foods when its not being destroyed!" Its also awesome that we indeed get lunch in Wonderland after Peanut gets the whole park fixed, 2 theme parks in one day is pretty darn rad! After all is done, I take all of them to see Cornburry before dropping them off back in their own words, a tattoo of small size which we all have as team members hidden from view even to us most of the time allows the world to world mind transfer, its really cool, ot uses magic, not technology to pull that off, I only mention it now as I completely forgot about it in its entirety since its so routine to have it be applied to others at this point. Im going for teaching dueling in another world once Gorganan is defeated and life gets back to as close as it was before this calamity in time began!
Meanwhile far away at the base of Gorganan.. "So its true, they have finally begun to seek out where I am, its a shame that they will be all erased with all of time before they can stop me, Im no future seer but I know my plan will work! My ultimate goal of having nothing but myself in existence will come to be and I will create my own kingdom of evil in the vast nothingness! No one can stop me! Mwahahaha!" *Switch back to the heroes*
Now that I have shown the others around and gotten them home, Dr. Duns has come to warn me: "Listen Adam, I just told my counterpart this and I need you to hear it from me too. Upon the defeat of Gorganan, I will be unable to exist anymore as my home timeline has now been erased forever. That is why I will have you listen to me in order to write down many creative ideas I have had, I want to better this multiverse so I need you to do that for me." "Of course Dr. Duns, your work for us and all of time and space has been incredible, you are a legendary hero in your own right, the team and I can never forget you! Now I should get going to figuring out which adventure to go on early next month considering there are some universe that still havent had their timelines restored. So many interesting choices ya know!" Dr. Duns nods and thanks me for the compliment! 30 minutes later, I have decided where I want to go but you will have to wait till next time to find out! After deciding, I deliver more data to Dominic before taking a rest, training, having dinner, hanging out, and falling asleep, today was a very busy and different day thats for sure! But Im not overwhelming myself by visiting so many worlds again in one day, I did find out through that last world that the enemy has focused on tampering with darkness and not time now.
Outro: Dang, a different format! Hope ya liked the change! Not my strongest of story chapters but its great for what it is! I went with no intro this time seeing as how it didnt seem necessary! With such a huge selection of characters, I gotta pull what Justice League Unlimited did to include characters more than otherwise! Writing fiction aint easy but its fun!
