Scene 1: Storage Room
The janitor walks in. He is blue and has a short stubbly face with black designs on, like tattoos. He carries his tools - a mop, a bucket, dustpan and brush, etc.

JANITOR: (Quietly) Oh, look at all this clutter.

CURATOR: It's not clutter!

The janitor gasps.

JANITOR: Oh sorry, Mr Curator.

CURATOR: You should show some respect to these exhibits. Do you know the amount of times the Doctor has saved us?

JANITOR: (Quietly) Countless times…

CURATOR: Countless times! And now, we have a prize article! Wheel them in!

[Track 1] Someone opens the door and moves something across the room.

CURATOR: The last Cyberman shells in existence!

Three 80s Cybermen are in glass cases.

CURATOR: These are unique. The last Cybermen from the Cyber Wars! This'll make a fine addition to the Mondas Collection! Nothing like the Vervoid leaf, or the Metebelis 3 crystal, or the TARDIS handbook.

JANITOR: You ever think this...obsession is starting to get unhealthy?

CURATOR: Don't disrespect me, boy, or it'll be the last thing you do!

A faint light, like electricity, fizzes through one of the Cybermen.

JANITOR: Of course. I'm sorry.

The Curator starts to walk off.

JANITOR: Woah! Did that just...did that just move?

CURATOR: The Cyberman? It's just a shell. It can't have done. Don't be so thick.

JANITOR: I swear it did.

The curator walks out. Suddenly, the glass container smashes and the shell grabs the janitor, throwing its hand over his mouth so he can't scream.

ROLL TITLES

Scene 2: Ship Exterior
Two men in spacesuits walk across the ship, surrounded by space.

HUDSON: Beginning repairs now.

CURATOR: (oc) Hurry up - We've got the visitors coming in 2 hours.

HUDSON: On it, Mr Curator.

Something behind them is approaching them, but it is too blurry to make out.

Scene 3: Time War Exhibit
The TARDIS lands. The Doctor walks out, followed by Amy. Amy takes off her big puffy coat and puts it on a glass case, revealing a green jumper over a cyan shirt. She straightens her grey skirt. Rory walks out. [Track 2]

RORY: Where...are we?

DOCTOR: I can't see anything. Light switch?

The lights flicker are multiple gold Daleks encased in a glass container. As the lights switch on, there is a long hall full of artefacts such as wax models, weapons, holographic images, etc.

AMY: What is this?

DOCTOR: It's a collection. Of the Time War.

The Doctor walks over to a wax model of a Harven soldier.

RORY: Why would someone want to collect the Time War?

DOCTOR: Question for later - Question for now, who's collecting it?

A door opens. They look at each other and hide behind the Dalek models on display. The Curator walks in, with another man taking notes.

CURATOR: And I want you to find the janitor - He's not reported in today.

KANDAS: Yes, sir.

AMY (quietly): Well, that's your question answered, I guess. Who is he, do you know him?

DOCTOR (quietly): I don't know, curator?

CURATOR: Hey! Who put that in here?

The Curator walks over to the TARDIS.

CURATOR: Get someone to move it. This model is completely inaccurate! We can't be feeding the audience false information. And quickly!

KANDAS: On it.

CURATOR: Well, go on!

Kandas runs out. The time travellers look at the TARDIS. The Curator walks over to a panel and types into it.

COMPUTER: Visitation Security Protocols activated.

CURATOR: Perfect.

COMPUTER: Warning: Unauthorised movement detected in Unit 8b.

CURATOR: 8b? But this is...This is 8b.

The Doctor starts to edge towards the TARDIS. He stops as the Curator sees and picks up Amy's coat.

CURATOR: Guards! We have intruders!

Guards burst into the hall, fanning out.

CURATOR: Find them!

He looks back at the TARDIS, thinking.

CURATOR: Make sure they're not in that model. But don't break it!

The lights switch off. The guards murmur. The Doctor reaches his hand out to his companions, urging them to follow him, when suddenly:

COMPUTER: Red alert! Red alert! Power directed to Unit 100c!

CURATOR: Unit 100c? No. No, it can't be! He was telling the truth!

The Curator starts to run off.

DOCTOR: (Whispering) We should find 100c.

The Doctor leads his companions out.

Scene 4: Storage Room

The Curator runs in. He runs to the empty glass containers.

CURATOR: No! Impossible! We must quarantine the-Agh!

One of the Cybermen grabs them. The Cyber Leader is behind.

CYBERLEADER: You shall direct us to the main computer.

CURATOR: Never!

CYBERLEADER: Then we shall extract the directions from your brain patterns. Take him.

CURATOR: No! No! Get off me!

They start to drag him away.

CURATOR: Okay! Okay! I'll do it! Just get off me and don't hurt me!

CYBERLEADER: Excellent.

Scene 5: Earth History Exhibit
[Track 3] The Doctor, Amy and Rory enter a larger hall. It is dark.

AMY: What is it with this place and lighting?

The lights turn on.

DOCTOR: Ah, finally. The backup power's kicked in. Now the power reserve's will be up on the exterior of the ship, away from sabotage…

AMY: Doctor?

The Doctor walks over to a part of the exhibit labelled Unit 100c - MONDAS: EARTH'S TWIN

DOCTOR: Mondas? Wait...

RORY: What is it? What's wrong?

DOCTOR: This exhibit. Everything's wrong. I can't tell...but…

The Doctor walks over to an empty glass case. Underneath is the sign Advanced Weaponry - Gun.

DOCTOR: It's gone.

AMY: A gun?

DOCTOR: A Cybergun. The conversion chambers!

The Doctor runs over to the conversion chambers.

DOCTOR: Look at all the other artefacts in this hall. They're all untouched, therefore dusty. But this…

The Doctor rubs his finger along the rim of the chamber. No dust.

DOCTOR: This has been used recently.

The Doctor opens the door. Inside is the janitor, with a steel rod sticking through his skull, one of his eyes converted into a big black circle. The patterns on his face are now cut out and replaced with rusty metal scraps. One of his arms have been cut off, dripping with blood, whilst the other has been replaced with the arm of a Cyberman, clutching onto the Cybergun. His hair has been shaved off, and a metal chip is ingrained into his chest. He collapses to the floor. Amy shrieks and hugs Rory.

AMY: Oh, my god.

DOCTOR: They should know by now. Cyber conversions are ineffective on non humans.

JANITOR: Help...me. Help…me!

RORY: He's still alive.

The Janitor goes to throw up.

JANITOR: I feel...everything they did to me. They...they replaced my organs with computers and metal...I shall be like them…They cut my brains up and reattached them over and over again!

DOCTOR: Who did this to you? Where did they go?

JANITOR: No…I can't…do it!

RORY: No, hey- What are you doing?

He raises the gun, aimed at himself. It fires, and he goes limp.

DOCTOR: It's them...the Cybermen.

Scene 6: Main Computer
There is a large domed room. The Curator walks in, followed by the Cyber Leader and the Cyberman. There are many large screens controlled by a large desk in the middle.

CURATOR: We're here. What can you possibly hope to achieve, anyway?

CYBERLEADER: Survival. It is the only way. You shall give us access to the main computer.

[Track 4]

CURATOR: Of course…

CYBERLEADER: You shall not trick us.

The handlebar part of a Cyberhelmet is placed onto the Curator's head.

CURATOR: What is this?

CYBERLEADER: It is for precaution only. We shall read your brainwaves.

CURATOR: Hmm…

CYBERMAN 1: His brain activity has increased in emotional states. He is sad.

CYBERLEADER: What are you sad about? Did you attempt to trick us? Display first person visual. This is what happens to those who get in our way.

On one of the screens, the two engineers float in space, lifeless. Dead.

CYBERLEADER: Regrettably, they would've become good Cybermen, yet they resisted.

CURATOR: You disgust me.

CYBERLEADER: Continue to access the controls. Return to us.

CYBERMAN 2: (oc) Yes, Leader.

The screen turns back and starts walking along the exterior - Clearly this is from the other Cyberman's POV.

CURATOR: There. I'm logged in.

CYBERLEADER: We must connect the database to the Cyberiad. You know what you must do.

The Cyberman's glove falls off, revealing the pale, augmented, human hand. The Curator looks away. The Cyberman starts to take out a few circuits and wire them into the console. Suddenly, all the screens are filled with faces of Cybermen.

CYBERLEADER: Download the archive.

CURATOR: Archive for what?

CYBERLEADER: We must survive.

CURATOR: But how?

CYBERLEADER: Upgrade. It has been a long time since we have contacted the Cyberiad. We must update ourselves, and return to the front lines with the Artefact.

CURATOR: Artefact? I don't know what you are talking about.

CYBERMAN 1: Download complete.

CYBERLEADER: Excellent. Your knowledge shall be uploaded to the Cyberiad.

CURATOR: Wait, you don't mean-

CYBERLEADER: Take him to be converted. He shall be the first to upgrade ourselves.

CURATOR: No! No, please! I know who you are! What you do to them! I don't want to be like that! Please! I helped you! I beg for mercy!

CYBERLEADER: Do not feel scared. We will remove fear. Move.

The Cybermen walk out, with the Curator being dragged away,

CURATOR: I helped you! I helped you!

Scene 7: Time War Exhibit

The Doctor walks along. The guards are gone now.

DOCTOR: Investigation over! Go in there, stay inside, do whatever it is you do when you're in your room!

AMY: Doctor, are you going to explain to us what's going on?

DOCTOR: It's the Cybermen. They want to make every human like them, and that puts you in danger.

RORY: Aren't we always in danger?

DOCTOR: I just don't feel comfortable with you sticking with me. The last time I met the Cybermen, they were from a parallel world and they were weak in this universe. Their power source was different to us. But this time, it can't be them. I fought off the last of them, destroyed them. I'm sure of it. No, this time...this time, they're from our Universe. They know their way around, they're strong.

AMY: Then you need help. I know you do.

DOCTOR: I'd rather you wait in the TARDIS. For me.

AMY: Alright, fine.

RORY: Uh, Doctor?

They realise - The TARDIS is gone.

AMY: Where's the TARDIS? Don't tell me the Cybermen have taken it.

DOCTOR: Don't think so. That Curator - He told that other man to move it because it was in the wrong exhibit.

AMY: Yeah, how do they know so much about you?

DOCTOR: Well, we all hope to leave a mark on the Universe. Clearly, I have fans. Alright, you two. I'm going to find the Cybermen and work out their plans. You need to find the TARDIS. There should be a map nearby. See you later.

The Doctor runs off.

AMY: But where would it-

The Doctor is gone.

AMY: ...Be. Come on, Rory-

She looks around. The room is empty.

AMY: Rory?

Scene 8: Earth History Exhibit
[Track 5] The Curator is put into the conversion chamber. The Cyber Leader and the Cyberman watch.

CURATOR: No, please! Let me go! You don't need to convert me! Save me, Doctor! Please!

CYBERLEADER: The Doctor cannot save you now.

The other Cyberman enters, holding onto Rory.

CYBERMAN 2: Leader!

CYBERLEADER: We shall build our numbers quickly.

RORY: Oi, get off.

CYBERMAN 1: There is another human nearby. In the Time War exhibit.

CYBERLEADER: Then that shall be your first mission with the Cyberiad.

CURATOR: Please, don't!

CYBERMAN 1: Update installed.

CYBERLEADER: Begin the conversion.

Electricity runs through the Curator, who is now still and completely serious.

RORY: No! Let him go!

CYBERLEADER: It is too late to stop the conversion. Phase 1 has commenced.

RORY: Phase 1? What's phase 1?

CYBERLEADER: The cleanse of emotion.

RORY: You don't have emotions? It must hurt a lot, then.

CYBERLEADER: Emotions are useless.

CYBERMAN: Phase 1 completed. Commencing phase 2.

Something inside the chamber begins to whirr away.

RORY: What's phase 2?

CYBERLEADER: The internal transformation. Phase 3 is the external transformation.

RORY: You're turning them into a Cyberman. Don't you dare turn me into one of them. Don't you dare!

Rory struggles, but the Cyberman's grip is too strong.

Scene 9: Space
A small shuttle approaches the large space station.

Scene 10: Hangar Bay Controls
Amy runs in, looking around.

AMY: Nothing. Why would Rory be in here, anyway?

Amy sighs, and turns back round. Suddenly, a radio crackles.

PILOT (oc): This is Shuttle Transport 19. Are we cleared for docking?

Amy turns back.

AMY: What? No, no, no!

Amy runs back to the radio.

AMY: Hello? Can you hear me? Hello?

PILOT (oc): This is Shuttle Transport 19. Are we cleared for docking?

Amy bangs on the radio.

AMY: Ugh, come on! I've got to warn them!

PILOT (oc): Space station Theta Sigma, this is Shuttle Transport 19, we are reading you.

AMY: Aha! Yes!

PILOT (oc): Are we cleared for docking, Space station Theta Sigma?

AMY: No! No, there's an issue here, we have to quarantine the base. It's too dangerous to let you all arrive.

PILOT (oc): Do you require assistance?

AMY: We can work it out ourselves. We'll contact you when everything is sorted out.

PILOT (oc): Roger that.

A light suddenly beams out of the hangar into space.

PILOT (oc): Uh, Space station Theta Sigma?

AMY: Oh, no. This must be part of our issue. Don't worry, I'll sort it out. I might need a bit of help.

PILOT (oc): What do you need?

AMY: That light, it must be a tractor beam or something! Any idea what could be powering it?

PILOT (oc): Its used to help ships land, but it must've been boosted to reach us. I can help you power it down now.

AMY: Alright, where do I go?

PILOT (oc): Go to the tracking terminal, it's the black one with red stripes on the sides.

Amy runs over to a panel.

AMY: Got it.

PILOT (oc): You have to disconnect the power couplings.

Amy removes a panel to see four glowing blue rods.

AMY: I just take them out, yeah?

PILOT (oc): No, wait! You have to align them and unlink their connection to the main computer first.

AMY: Okay, I can do that.

Scene 11: Earth History Exhibit
The whirring stops.

CYBERMAN 1: Phase 3 complete.

The door opens. What used to be the curator is now tall, slim and composed of metal and fabric. His eyes are red and oval shaped. The handlebars are a similar design to the previous model.
(Design taken from Doctor Who: Real Time)

CYBERMAN 3: I am ready.

CYBERLEADER: Excellent.

CYBERMAN 2: Leader, I'm detecting interference with the tractor beam.

The Cyberleader turns back to the new Cyberman.

CYBERLEADER: You shall stop the other human and bring them to me.

The new Cyberman walks out.

RORY: Don't you touch her!

CYBERLEADER: The upgrade is successful. You shall update yourselves.

CYBERMAN 1: I obey.

The Cyberman steps into the conversion chamber.

RORY: Listen, mate. What do you need me for? I'm not worth anything.

CYBERLEADER: You are compatible. We must survive.

The Doctor walks in, looks around and sees the Cybermen with Rory.

RORY: Survive? Survive what?

CYBERLEADER: The Cyber Wars. We must find the Artefact and use it against the humans.

DOCTOR (whispering): The Artefact?

RORY: What's the Artefact?

CYBERLEADER: A weapon. All the humans shall bend to our will. With the knowledge of the Curator, we shall find it and return to the Cyber Wars victorious.

DOCTOR (oc): Hiya! Got some news for you, I'm afraid!

The Cyberleader looks around. The Doctor walks over.

DOCTOR: The Cyber Wars ended years ago. Hello. I'm the Doctor.

The Cybermen raise their guns.

DOCTOR: Really? That's the best you can do? A gun? Cos guess what? That ain't working on me.

Scene 12: Hangar Bay Controls
Amy is typing on a computer. A guard bursts in.

GUARD: Alright, you. Hands up!

PILOT (oc): Are you okay?

AMY: Just put the gun down, okay? I'm trying to help these people, save them.

GUARD: Save them from what?

AMY: Cybermen.

GUARD: Cybermen? Don't be ridiculous! Cybermen are extinct.

AMY: Obviously they're not. Listen to me, those people are going to arrive and they're all going to be converted into Cybermen. You can help me stop them, or you can lead them to your death. What's it going to be?

The guard thinks.

GUARD: I'll need some proof.

AMY: I'll give you some proof later, but right now, we are running out of time.

GUARD: Fine.

AMY: Warn your colleagues, then keep an eye out for Cybermen.

The guard walks out. Amy spins back.

AMY: I've nearly got the first one.

PILOT (oc): Nice work.

Amy presses enter, then crouches down to rotate the first power rod and takes it out.

AMY: Got it!

Scene 13: Earth History Exhibit
The only Cyberman left to be converted now is the Cyberleader. He steps into the conversion unit.

GUARD (oc): This is a warning, I repeat, this is a warning. The Cybermen are active. The Cybermen are active. Shoot on sight.

CYBERMAN 1: We have been detected!

DOCTOR: Your plan's failed, it seems. Perhaps you should back out now?

CYBERMAN 2: We shall not stop. We shall defeat the humans.

DOCTOR: There is no one to defeat! The Cyber Wars are over!

CYBERMAN 1: This is a lie! Tell us where to find the Artefact or we shall kill you.

DOCTOR: I don't think so.

Guards run in, firing at the Cybermen. They retaliate, shooting back. The conversion chamber sparks, and the Cyberleader exits, nearly fully updated, yet some wires are sticking out of the suit.

CYBERLEADER: We are under attack! Retreat! Retreat!

The Cybermen retreat, still firing back. Rory is shot, and he collapses.

DOCTOR: Rory? Rory! Rory, Rory! Listen to me! It's okay, it's okay.

Rory winces in pain. The Cybermen are now gone.

DOCTOR: Someone, you've got to find my friend. Amy Pond, Scottish, feisty. Quickly!

Two guards run out.

DOCTOR: Rory, it's alright. You're gonna be alright!

RORY: Argh, this hurts so much more than last time!

DOCTOR: Stay with us, Rory. Rory?

Rory goes limp.

DOCTOR: Rory? Rory!

Scene 14: Hangar Bay Controls
There are two more power rods in there.

AMY: This one's not working.

PILOT (oc): Try using it on a wavelength of Binary 1.

AMY: So, I turn it...up?

PILOT (oc): Just the once, yeah.

Amy twists a dial.

AMY: So, I'm Amy. Who are you?

PILOT (oc): Transport Pilot ZX-124.

AMY: No, your actual name.

PILOT (oc): Mardo. Mardo Tarssen.

AMY: Nice to meet you, Mardo Tarssen.

PILOT (oc): We're running out of time, we're nearly inside.

AMY: Let's focus then.

PILOT (oc): Earlier...did I hear you correctly? You're under threat from...Cybermen? I thought they weren't around anymore.

AMY: Got the third one!

Amy takes out the next rod.

PILOT (oc): Amy, tell me.

AMY: Yes, there's really Cybermen. I don't know what the Doctor's going to do to stop them.

PILOT (oc): The Doctor? You're with the Doctor?!

AMY: Mhm.

PILOT (oc): Wow! That's brilliant, that is!

AMY: This museum is probably the worst thing for his ego.

PILOT (oc): I bet it is.

They laugh.

PILOT (oc): What's it like? Travelling with the Doctor?

AMY: Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Scene 15: Corridor
The guard looks around. He sees something, and walks towards it. The Cyberman appears. A gun pops out of his wrist and shoots the guard.

Scene 16: Hanger Bay Controls
The guard screams. [Track 6]

AMY: What was that?

PILOT (oc): Amy, you've gotta focus.

AMY: Wait, wait. I think there's...

The Cyberman bursts in.

CYBERMAN 3: You shall be like us!

Amy screams.

PILOT (oc): Amy!

Amy falls to the floor. The Cyberman towers over her.
